A quick question from the OGs.
I have $4000 in USDT.

Should I buy BTC now for all of that or wait?
Not sure what to do with that.  Undecided

The number of USDTs irrelevant. What matters is how significant that amount is for you and what's your tolerance for risk. Is that your life savings? Or just some pocket change left over from buying a lambo last week? And how badly would you mindrust yourself if you lost half of it overnight?

2782  Other / Meta / Re: 60 Days Ban Appeal on: June 27, 2021, 08:11:18 PM
Damn it man, this must really suck especially after you had just bumped your various services.  Sad

PM me your email address and we can continue conversing there if I have anything else I need to ask you, or in particular any posting you might need to do for your business.

Technically that's ban evasion. Ban appeal thread is the only thing a banned user is allowed to do. No posts elsewhere and no PMs. Granted the latter would likely be enforced only if the recipient reported it and you probably wouldn't, but you're basically telling him to break the rules.

If someone is banned on the forum but they can continue posting by other people, what's the point of the ban? Isn’t this ban also something contradictory? Is it allowed to post by other people on behalf of the banned user?

There is no rule against it and it would be largely unenforceable if there was. Ultimately it's the user posting that stuff who's taking full responsibility. Perhaps some precautions (quoting/attribution) should be taken to avoid getting reported for plagiarism when posting text supplied by someone else. Not sure if there are any other issues with that.

This is a very sneaky old rule.

It's very much the opposite of sneaky. It's in the list of rules right here in Meta and all sorts of explanations are pinned all over altcoin boards, not to mention the numerous appeals and comments every time this happens. You have to try really hard to remain ignorant of this rule.

Will you be going cave man style?

I don't think cave people will be happy with your attempts to dilute their collective IQ. You need to find a group of people dumber than yourself so you could blend in. Like a cult of some sort. Oh wait...

The thing they can't do is make a human from scratch. Needless to say, you can't either.

Actually making humans is quite easy and might even be pleasant under right circumstances. You should try it.

Dealing with fresh-made humans might be a bit of a chore though.
2785  Other / Meta / Re: Apology on: June 23, 2021, 03:14:16 PM
Since he's already replying to himself in the 2nd post of this topic, do you want to bet on that ? Smiley

Uhm... you do realize you're talking to a sockpuppeting sleazebag who tends to post with multiple accounts in the same thread to boost their "credibility"?

Of course Quick7 thinks there's nothing wrong with OPs sockuppeting and ban evasion.
2786  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stake.com business practices and their gambling license on: June 23, 2021, 01:55:02 PM
To be fair, I bet there are many, many people (including members of this forum) who use a VPN in order to get around restrictions.  In OP's case, though I don't think it was a good move because he's a self-admitted problem gambler, I don't think what he did was so wrong that I'd condemn him for it.  That's just me, however.  You can condemn away.

I'd say it's ok as long as one accepts full responsibility. The OP doesn't. If the OP had won money do you think we'd have this thread complaining about VPNs and whatnot?

it isn't any casino's responsibility to prevent you from doing harm to yourself, at least not legally as far as I know.

The casino is supposed to prevent self-excluded gamblers from using the site but if the gambler is deliberately trying to avoid detection there is not much the casino can reasonably do. Not to mention that the UK is on the list of Stake's prohibited countries to begin with, and Stake (nor other business names associated with it) is not on the GAMSTOP list, so it's really hard to figure out what exactly the OP expected to happen here.

The OP might have a somewhat legit claim against the affiliates but good luck suing some kids on Twitch.
2787  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World falling apart? on: June 22, 2021, 08:43:08 PM
Anyone else follow world events closely?

That's your problem right there. Put your phone down and go for a walk. The world will immediately cease ending.

they are aware that their partners Classybeef

their other partners on Twitch TrainswreckTV

Where does Stake say these are "their partners"? Or do the "partners" claim that? I hope you realize there is a difference.

Responsible gambling control: I do not know how other crypto casinos work but compared to any other online casino they have 0 responsible gambling control in place. I have played on stake.com for a period of weeks playing over 12hours/day , wagering over 160.000$ and depositing over 50.000$ with a total incurred loss of between 4000$-4500$ on the cryptocurrency prices in April. I am in no measure to gamble this amount of money and it was of course never flagged to ask for KYC, to ask if i can afford to play this amount of money or if I'm comfortable with gambling those huge amounts. Due to my mental state i never even realised what happened until it was all over and i have lost it all.

They actually asked you to accept their TOS and you not only deliberately broke it, but also deceived the site by using a VPN. If they asked you if you can afford to gamble you would have lied too.

I'm trying to feel sorry for you here but you need to fix this on your side. Start by not having access to $50k and get professional help.

The dip broke ChartBuddy. Look at those bald spots. Get some vitamins, buddy.

Happy parity day!
2791  Economy / Speculation / Re: how many more times should you fall for the same FUD before you learn? on: June 22, 2021, 01:19:04 PM
Shouldn't it go the other way? Fewer bitcoins mined (at least until the next diff adjustment), lower supply, less dumping by miners to pay their electric bills.
2792  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 22, 2021, 12:50:26 PM
cheap corn under 30k

Ha. I learned from the last dip and put orders in all the way down to 21k. Let's see how bad the dippening gets.

Anybody selling?

Whats the point now?

PANIC!!!!! Lots of it if you mortgaged your house at $60k and there is always someone who did.
2793  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 21, 2021, 11:56:26 PM
Fuck the bears! There.. I said it.

That sounds unhygienic. Who knows where their filthy paws have been.

How about everyone in this thread buys one bitcoin instead. I'm hearing it's super cheap these days.
2794  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How the Government made you fat on: June 21, 2021, 09:38:07 PM
Well, it is a fact - government didn't really make (or unmake) me fat.

Precisely the opposite is what I have been explaining, and I see that you, again, simply assert the opposite without providing arguments. Good for you.

Not sure what arguments you want to hear. A picture of me on a bathroom scale? Not a pretty sight so maybe let's skip that.

You're acting as if no one ever heard of keto or fasting. It's definitely not a miracle you're trying to make it sound like and can cause health issues for some people.

Current nutritional guidelines are definitely not a miracle and do cause health issues for lots of people.

I don't see how replacing non-miracle guidelines with a non-miracle overhyped diet is the solution but I strongly believe in anyone's right to get fat or slim any way they choose. It would be good for you to tone down the absolutism and look at the big picture. Weight loss is a simple math problem. Burn more calories than you consume. If keto is how some people find it easier to do it - great, but I've seen too many miserable ketotonic donut-craving muggles to trust any hype about it.

At no time did I say that they can lose weight doing fuck.
[...]
However, with ketogenic diets, you don't count calories and eat until you are well satiated and you don't need to move more to lose weight

Ok. Perhaps you're technically right. Eating counts as doing something I guess.
2795  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitconnect Meme still alive? [ft. Carlos Matos] on: June 19, 2021, 05:02:47 PM
I was about to compare that Picture with Egyptian The Great Pyramid of Giza then realized I shouldn't insult such a sacred thing by comparing with something like Pyramid of Bitconnect . :/

That pyramid hurts my OCD. The gaps between people are uneven and the whole thing just looks crooked (pun intended). Ain't no Giza for sure.
2796  Other / Politics & Society / Re: New Data points to antivaxers getting sick from covid and vaxers not getting sic on: June 18, 2021, 08:57:33 PM
So looks like the 2x johnson people got a poor mans version of a vaccine.

Yay capitalism, worked surprisingly well in this case. Or was it socialism because the government is footing the bill. I always confuse the two.

Now if we could find a way to distribute the vaccines to the rest of the world instead of throwing them away, that'd be peachy.
2797  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a loan on: June 18, 2021, 07:18:17 PM
I've got the skills and brain of a world class ceo and a brute animal instict of a lion who turns gangsters into ordinary Jimmies.

Makes total sense. This forum is full of "world class ceos" begging for 5 euros.
2798  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Anti-Vax Nurse's Attempt To Prove COVID Vaccines Make People Magnetic Backfires on: June 18, 2021, 03:18:39 AM
I don't understand why you can't see that the doctors/experts that said this didn't say two years point blank. But that they meant anywhere along the lines starting ? ? ?, to as soon as a couple of years or longer in some cases.

Well, I was looking at what this "expert" said:

Covid-19 Vaccinated people will die in 2 years

So you mean he lied?

Then, I show you where VAERS says it

You haven't actually. You linked to some conspiratardery that cherry-picked VAERS data completely ignoring the caveat that comes with the data but we've been through this numerous times.
2799  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Anti-Vax Nurse's Attempt To Prove COVID Vaccines Make People Magnetic Backfires on: June 17, 2021, 11:05:44 PM
"That means that it will take them two years from the time they start dying to the time that they die," right?

I don't know why you're phrasing it as a question - you're the one making this shit up. Don't start backpedaling now.
2800  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitconnect Meme still alive? [ft. Carlos Matos] on: June 17, 2021, 10:06:51 PM
Don't get me wrong, everyone deserves a second chance

I disagree when it comes to blatant scams like Bitconnect. They knew what they were doing and they have no real remorse either. This Carlos douchebag probably has a bunch of bitcoins stashed away (if he doesn't, he's an utter moron but that doesn't make him less of a scammer either) and has been playing this stupid victim game for a couple of years now. He needs to do some time and pay back his victims. Then we can talk about second chances. Second best option would be youtube getting sued out of existence for letting these scammers run rampant.
