LN has no network wide audit/consensus that checks that all nodes/channels are all connected to the bitcoin network.
some LN users right now only have channels/nodes pegged to litecoin True. But as far as I know, those LTC-LN-nodes won't interact with a BTC-LN-node, so even though they all use some form of LN, they won't mix up transactions. Wasn't there a big selling point of LN during the whole block debate shitshow that among other things it will enable atomic swaps? TBH I'd be far more excited about that than merely pushing sats around - even though it doesn't fit the "BTC über alles" spirit of this forum but let's face it, shitcoining exists, and shitcoin<->BTC conversion is big business currently almost entirely monopolized by KYC and DeFi nonsense. |

A simple tweak suggested about a million times would go a long way: require +1 or +2 net inclusions for DT (instead of current 0). I wouldn't hold my breath for that to happen though. And even that'd be just a bandaid for the underlying issue of not caring, since spammers/scammers/farmers/etc will always care more to game the system than (presumably) honest users care to figure out if the system is being gamed and how to prevent that. Yes, I replaced "give a shit" with "care", but only because it's shorter. My sentiment remains the same. |

I think you're not hearing me. Your collateral doesn't meet two very basic conditions: 1) Value in excess of the loan being requested - I don't think the value is there. 2) Irreversible change of ownership and liquidity if the lender needs to sell it - not the case either. Fiverr accounts can be reclaimed if you contact support and tell them you've been hacked. Namecheap also has procedures for recovering fraudulent domain transfers. Not to mention the possibility that you could simply abandon your collateral. The domains are worth maybe ~$100. Selling or otherwise transferring the ownership of fiverr accounts is against their rules. |

I'm sorry about your predicament but your collateral has little to no value to anyone else, and you can easily reclaim it without repaying the loan so it's not going to work. Someone has to fight misinformation, apparently. You can't have it both ways. If you really honestly think franky1 is a troll, the best way to defeat him is to not engage him. what you might find interesting. is the majority of my deleted messages are not due to bans/trolling . but due to the fact that i have tried separating my posts into separate talking points. We all knows that's a lie. Yeah, they delete the individually made posts, but merge their content into one, so nothing is removed from your text. If you want to make another point don't double-post. Use the horizontal rule instead. It's not a lie. He does get a lot of posts merged by mods and those count as multiple deleted posts. It's also quite possible that if you report franky1's post for trolling and your report is marked as "good", his post was deleted for some other reason. I've already made it clear that I don't support a ban, but hats off to franky1 here for making factually incorrect off topic posts about Lightning in a thread complaining about his factually incorrect off topic posts about Lightning.
