Coinbase going to Wall Street?
Serious question.

Coinbase filed S-1 for an IPO.
https://www.theblockcrypto.com/linked/88293/coinbase-s-1-potential-ipo-filing

after what what one dex did, it is entirely possible that they would allocate some at IPO prices to those currently on exchange, at least it would be a trick to cause/entice a massive move of btc back to their "hodl".

What's that, exactly?
Coinbase going to Wall Street?
Serious question.
2784  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 17, 2020, 07:15:25 PM
the "buy-the-dip" meme became a beast of its own. dips last only an hour or so.  Cheesy

This is fine  Grin

I voted for $23k-$24k, because i feel us going sideways for a few days before the next wave of BTC investment.

Zuckerberg needs to be thrown in jail over the bullshit he pulled this election. I can't believe it's not being more widely reported.

Delete Facebook from your life entirely.

I abandoned facebook right before the cambridge analytica incident. All discussions were fruitless, more or less only flaming and FUD.
With four children, a loving wife and three nearby friends you don't really need a virtual "social" network.
Life went so much better after getting my account removed from Zuckerberg's data mining platform.
Side note: Not one of my "friends" actually believed me when i announced to quit.
So my last facefuck post was: "You should have known me a little better. See you in RL!"

Four years ago i would have shorted right now.
Thanks WO's for encouraging me to #hodl.
Without you, i'd probably have become a nocoiner in 2019 or even 2018.
2787  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 17, 2020, 09:25:33 AM

2788  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 17, 2020, 08:18:34 AM
BTC could easily reach 500bn (coin)marketcap until EOY.
I see XRP getting dragged up quite nicely, too.
2789  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 17, 2020, 08:04:25 AM

Good morning  Grin
See what happens when JJG doesn't post for a day?!  Cheesy Cheesy
Keep it quiet, bro. All the way up to $100k *hahaha*

The rise is quite steady, does somebody else also see it?
Maybe it's a macro, stepped buy order, to let the bots/traders adjust and not create a single megacandle after which daytraders short the hell out of it.

EDIT: I wouldn't be too unsatisfied if that rise would continue until jan. 2021

#Happy

Sounds about right. Was thinking of taking a bit more profit earlier today, but, well, we don't need the money, so, guess I'm just gonna keep on stacking dips like a crazy person.

Crazy is way better than normal. Just look what normal people are doing. They're the real insane, but unfortunately they are the majority, so they experience their common insanity as justified.
2792  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 17, 2020, 12:14:25 AM

The purple will slow things down a little  Cool

You nailed it   Grin

Back to topic:
So we should have the fifth green 1d candle today. The pump might correct tomorrow or the next day, with growing probability.
Surprise me, BTC  Smiley

If it's a karmic thing, i guess you might be even after that  Grin

Dude. Nah, just timing being moved up with a procedure I had. On some meds for a week or so that does not allow me to drink alcohol.

Rick suggested a nice wine for this evening, but, well, yeah. Probably for the best, tho. I should dry out a bit anyway. Have been hitting the beers and greyhounds a little hard over the last couple-few weeks. Gotta slow things down a bit.

Suggestion: Fill a glass of wine, cheer to Rick, cheer to Satoshi and just throw it over your back, russian style  Smiley
Better go outside first  Wink

EDIT:
We have a saying over here: "Control it before it controls you".
Can't go wrong with that, imho.
2797  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 16, 2020, 10:28:06 PM
Boys, I’m at my gf’s parents house. It’s my nephews 1st birthday, I really want to let loose right now but I can’t out of respect for them. I told them all to buy years ago but nobody did.

Feels like a dick move to start celebrating so I’m keeping it quiet. Will buy a bottle of champagne on the way home.

This is just the beginning, next stop $50,000.

I just came back from a friend's place. Went there to chill (COVID and all). No coiners there. I didn't mention the B-word. Great guys 'n' gals, but they wouldn't understand. And they definitely wouldn't buy, especially now that it's worth more than $20k. "Too expensive", you see...

Back in late 2016 / early 2017 I urged my friends and colleagues to buy one Bitcoin each. Just one. Their monthly salaries could buy at least 2 BTC back then. I told those who have kids to buy 1 BTC for each kid. For their kids' future. Nobody, NOBODY believed me. They just laughed at me, called me crazy, stupid, immature. Just a few bought altcoins, then sold it all at a loss in the crash. Funny thing is that many of them still laugh at me even now. It's like they cannot accept what's happening. They almost don't believe the price. They want to "see the money".

I won't show them anything. I told myself to never ever talk about Bitcoin to 1. nocoiners, 2. those that didn't buy. Period. Even if they call me and ask about it, i just say "Google it." It's not worth it really...

In other news, BTC is now worth $21300.

Gentleman.
Grudge is worth nothing.

You could as well ask them: "Now where are your lambos?"
Next christmas  Cheesy

$21400 what is this a pump for ants?  Grin

Dead hours, the Real show will begin tomorrow at NY open.

Don't forget China/Asia. They're about to wake up there now.

EDIT: GOING AGAIN!
Really crazy. Even more than 2017 right before the dump.

Not imo..
I observed 2017 too and that was going up faster it seemed iirc..

Yes, my mind might trick me again.
2798  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 16, 2020, 10:17:36 PM

EDIT: GOING AGAIN!
