As normal it will all go 50% to bitcoin and the 50% to the local food bank. Both very good investments.
Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Excellent projection, sir!

Beforehand, I always thought that it is better when the peak is in Jan vs December of prior year, but in actuality, it does not matter much.
You have to pay regular taxes one year later, that is correct, but if the sell is large enough, you are better off paying an estimated tax, which would be due with only 3 mo difference (Jan 15 vs Apr 15). In fact, Jan 15 might be even better psychologically because you would not try to do something stupid and instead of more trading would just dedicate a chunk for these purposes.

Dude. Nah, just timing being moved up with a procedure I had. On some meds for a week or so that does not allow me to drink alcohol.

Rick suggested a nice wine for this evening, but, well, yeah. Probably for the best, tho. I should dry out a bit anyway. Have been hitting the beers and greyhounds a little hard over the last couple-few weeks. Gotta slow things down a bit.

Boys, I’m at my gf’s parents house. It’s my nephews 1st birthday, I really want to let loose right now but I can’t out of respect for them. I told them all to buy years ago but nobody did.

Feels like a dick move to start celebrating so I’m keeping it quiet. Will buy a bottle of champagne on the way home.

This is just the beginning, next stop $50,000.

I just came back from a friend's place. Went there to chill (COVID and all). No coiners there. I didn't mention the B-word. Great guys 'n' gals, but they wouldn't understand. And they definitely wouldn't buy, especially now that it's worth more than $20k. "Too expensive", you see...

Back in late 2016 / early 2017 I urged my friends and colleagues to buy one Bitcoin each. Just one. Their monthly salaries could buy at least 2 BTC back then. I told those who have kids to buy 1 BTC for each kid. For their kids' future. Nobody, NOBODY believed me. They just laughed at me, called me crazy, stupid, immature. Just a few bought altcoins, then sold it all at a loss in the crash. Funny thing is that many of them still laugh at me even now. It's like they cannot accept what's happening. They almost don't believe the price. They want to "see the money".

I won't show them anything. I told myself to never ever talk about Bitcoin to 1. nocoiners, 2. those that didn't buy. Period. Even if they call me and ask about it, i just say "Google it." It's not worth it really...

In other news, BTC is now worth $21300.

Gentleman.
Grudge is worth nothing.

You could as well ask them: "Now where are your lambos?"
Next christmas  Cheesy

$21400 what is this a pump for ants?  Grin

Dead hours, the Real show will begin tomorrow at NY open.

Don't forget China/Asia. They're about to wake up there now.

EDIT: GOING AGAIN!
Really crazy. Even more than 2017 right before the dump.

Not imo..
I observed 2017 too and that was going up faster it seemed iirc..

Yes, my mind might trick me again.

I don't think he wears a WO hat anymore.

This may be a better fit:

unfortunately mindrust has failed completely.  Roll Eyes

IF it is true what he claimed to do. he was online today.

Quote
Additionally, during an interview with Bloomberg TV, Guggenheim Investment's Scott Minerd extended his recent discussion of crypto, by noting that Bitcoin’s scarcity combined with “rampant money printing” by the Federal Reserve mean the digital token should eventually climb to about $400,000:

“Our fundamental work shows that Bitcoin should be worth about $400,000,” Minerd told Bloomberg Television on Wednesday.

“It’s based on the scarcity and relative valuation such as things like gold as a percentage of GDP. So you know, Bitcoin actually has a lot of the attributes of gold and at the same time has an unusual value in terms of transactions.”

Enjoying my first celebratory Guinness. Trying not to get too carried away.

Remember, it's way too early in this bull run to go exponential. A nice little correction would do us all some good. A $2k rise in a day is a lot at this point. Maybe a test of support at $20k would be good before soaring upward again.

Dreaming of buying opportunities as low as $16k (or $14k LOL) is just wishful thinking. We all had lots of chances to buy below $20k.

Still it feels good. I raise my glass to all the steadfast accumulators and hodlers.

Cheers!

Miners of Wall Observer, it's been a while since I did any mining for myself, and I could use your expertise!

I'm looking for a reputable pool that I can mine shitcoins with my old gaming rig's 1080ti. Ideally trying to find one that auto-switches between most profitable coins and giving me BTC directly - any advice is welcome  Cheesy
