I've got 5 more of these coming.
Good luck getting more than 1 to work at the same time.

72 hours and no blocks is making me sad I bet after we finally get a block we hit 1-2 more with low CDF like always It seems like it is a cycle on this pool at this point. I pointed my S1 back here, last time I did that the pool hit several blocks. Maybe it's lucky; here's hoping. And then... Well that was a pretty big 393% Diff - lets hope for fewer of them in the future That's the first block with the new payout addresses so if you didn't notice my comments before, the Payments page has links to both the old and new address. Got a nice 12.23% one right after! Good job to thedreamer! Maybe I'm on to something here.

Bitmain,
I think need to RMA one of my U3s, it has stopped hashing all together. I came home from work yesterday and it was zombie (which is nothing new) but this time nothing I can do will get it to work again. I've zadig and restarted several times, plugged and unplugged, but when you plug the USB in the one red power led comes on, then the hashing red led flashes a few times and that's it, the hashing led never goes solid. cgminer does not ever recognize it being plugged in (but it does give an error when I unplug it).

It's surprising how many bitcoin followers I've picked up just by tweeting for this campaign. Not only do you get BTC, you get followers as well!

I cleaned up the factory thermal paste application and reapplied it correctly on all 3 of my U3s. It made a little difference, each one runs 1-2gh faster than before when run solo, which I can attribute to better heat dissipation. But it made absolutely no difference (as I expected) in more than one working when plugged in at the same time. So now I think I've tried everything. Anyone else have any ideas? The last thing now is to try a different computer or host to see if you can wittle the problem down to controller or U3s. I've tried on two computers, I guess I could try on others. The two I use are both kinda old and Run WinXP SP3, so maybe I need to try a current machine/OS combo and see if that makes a difference. I feel like a crazy person that I can't get more than one to work. I can read through threads and see that it is possible, but I just can't seem to find a break.

Great updates to the site/pool, they are very much appreciated!

What are the technical specifications of your computer? Especially RAM.I had a full node on a VPS
and it was shutting itself down until I upgraded its processor and RAM
See post 7 of this thread. My computer is old and as upgraded as it can be.

No I'm not. You two just don't know what you're talking about nor what effect dumping a shit tonne of coins on the exchanges has on the price. It's you who doesn't understand how simple supply and demand works because you wouldn't be saying this and it has absolutely nothing to do with the 'robustness' of the system. Bitcoin will continue working fine but the price you pay for them will be significantly less.
I didn't say it wouldn't have an effect, I said using words like "catastrophic" and "disastrous" are an exaggeration and FUD. And your reasoning and logic behind this is what exactly? You just sound ignorant when you call an opinion you disagree with 'fud'. How would dumping half a billion dollars worth of bitcoins on the market (or how ever many satoshi has) not have an effect? Do you think the price of bitcoin will still the same? No. Please re-read my statements. I never said it would "not have an effect". I am merely trying to calm your language down. If those coins move, it's not the end of the world. Have faith in the system's creator that he would know how to use his coins without crashing the whole thing.

The only way he can offload those coins is if there is an exchange with an 'Input private key' feature. If those coins relocate, Bitcoin is screwed.
There are plenty of ways to introduce those coins into circulation without destroying bitcoin. People keep assuming that, if there were to be used, they would all be dumped at once and crash the market. Don't you think Satoshi is smart enough to know how to use the system he created without ruining it? I don't know that they ever will move, but I hope they do. I know they will be used for something positive, and their use will be done in such a way as to be a benefit to bitcoin, not its downfall.

Somebody remarked that in this thread are recommendations ot Atx-type psu to replace the U3 one. Can somebody repeat that ?
Couldn't just find it on the 30 pages ))))))
Because the U3s requirements are essentially nothing, you'll want to look at a power supply you may have a use for in the future (other miners), as an investment. It would be wasteful to get something small and tiny for the U3 and later find out you can't do anything with it. The most recommended single PSU for mining is the Corsair CX750M. @Dogie I am new to this. Can you shortly tell me, how would i connect the barrel type connection cable of the U3 to an ATX power unit ? I saw on ebay that there are some adaptors offered, but i am not sure with this. Which of the ATX plugs delivers 12V with 6A+ ? Yes, ok, don't know much about electricity except that usually a switch is needed to be pushed...))))) Yes, buy one of the adapters you see on ebay and you are good to go.

Had this happen 3 or 4 times since last posting, tried a few things on my own and nothing seemed to stop the random crash. I've just now set the cache to 50 megs, will report if that makes an improvement.
mmh i can only think of something wrong with your os installation, or maybe your cpu is at 100% when you run the client? The cpu is idle when this happens, it happens during the day when I am away at work. I chalk it up to my old computers, if I get motivated enough I'll try the Linux partition, or I may just do nothing until I eventually build a new computer.

Today looks like another +10% day, most likely it will be +10 to +15% at the end of the cycle.
We are two days in the diff... things can change quickly. We have seen peak in hashrate before. All of this happened before and will happen again ;-) Nope, I'm pretty sure the sky is falling for real this time I was looking at AntPool and they seem to be having another good day (well, good for them, not so much for other miners). Keep the the law of average in mind my friend ^_^ Luck won't keep it up forever. You don't need luck when you have a significant percentage of the total network hash power at your disposal.

In short: There is no point discussing this at this point until further proof can be acquired.

Well I cleaned up the paste and reapplied it correctly on all 3 of my U3s. God damn what a mess! It made a little difference, each one runs 1-2gh faster than before when run solo, which I can attribute to better heat dissipation. But it made absolutely no difference (as I expected) in more than one working when plugged in at the same time. So now I think I've tried everything. Anyone else have any ideas? Why can some people run two of them at 100+gh just fine? I'm about to give up and ebay these things...
