I have re-watched Aljo vs Yan fight. What can I say, Aljo has outplayer or tricked everyone. His has made a vision, that he is not a real champ, but he took 1 year to prepare for this fight. He has taken 2-3 rounds. Yan took 4 and 5. The fate of the fight was decided in the first round. On one hand people would say that Yan was more aggressive, he was working as Nr1, he took centre of the ring, Aljo was always stepping back and defending. But if you watch closely, you would see that a lot of Yan strikes missed Aljo, Aljo did not get a damage and etc. This is not way to win a title, being more aggressive or active is not enough to win in such fights.

Yan can say that he was robbed, he was feeling pressure (as he wasnt allowed to carry Russian flag for example), he did not have his team in corner, come up with real or fictitious excuses. But the fact is, if you want to get a belt, you must win persuasively.

It was how I speculated the fight to happen hehe.

Rounds 1 to 3 will be for the oscar best actor and rounds 4 to 5 will be for Petr Yan and the Aljamain Sterling to win with a split decision. It was the neck injury of Aljo during training for the first fight, it cause him not to train harder which also affected his cardio.

2784  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for April on: April 12, 2022, 03:06:50 AM
I voted no idea. I speculate Do Kwon might be still cause another pump, sorry pooyah87 I do not know what word to use. However, yes, $10 billion within 3 months is still very much a large amount of money to invest in bitcoin. It certainly is the largest amount publicly declared to buy bitcoin. I reckon bitcoin might presently be lower if not for Do Kwon's market buy since March.

crypto is transformative technology?

This statement is a two edges sword! It could very well be translated into two different meanings. Is it a technology that will transform the financial space for good or for bad??

While we, the community members believe that cryptocurrency is a good technology that can disrupt the current banking based financial system. We have see some examples during Hong Kong crisis and we are seeing it now during Rus-Ukraine war. People are becoming less dependent on banks and more eager to control their own finances through cryptocurrency.

Then, there is government who believes cryptos can disrupt the current banking based financial system and take away the power from their hand to the end user. So they are seeing it as a threat.

So it all depends on which side you are! Janet Yellen is way too small when it comes to cryptospace and its scope. I don't think we need to give a lot of weight to her statement.

The skeptical me thinks that she is only trying to make the American government appear that it is not a threat to the cryptospace. This is very different from their stance 2 years ago. Maybe this is a new strategy to make everyone feel safe before they begin their real agenda which will certainly be more bans and more control hehe.

2787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: April 11, 2022, 05:10:04 AM
What a big win by GGG yesterday in spite of his age and was also fighting in Murata's backyard. I actually preferred Murata to beat Golovkin rather than Canelo Alvarez taking him out because their trilogy would have happened years ago. GGG is clearly past his prime and he will be moving up to 168 against Canelo. I wish Bivol will smesh Canelo. Cheesy

Agreed. I also predicted that Murata would win this because the fight was in Japan and other reasons because he is younger and GGG might not the the fighter he was when he was younger. In any case, I was wrong hehe. It also appears GGG has just created an argument to have his trilogy versus Canelo.
2788  Economy / Speculation / Re: A Little Surprised! on: April 11, 2022, 04:24:10 AM
@7788bitcoin. Agreed and similar to many people in this thread, I was also very bullish on bitcoin because of those reasons @Fundamentals Of shared. However, there might be other occurences in this market that might be much too powerful against Do Kwon, Saylor and Elon. This occurrence mentioned in this article might be one of them, I reckon.

The plan to compensate creditors of the collapsed crypto exchange Mt. Gox has been approved, and payments of about $9 billion are set to go out soon.

While it's still unclear if payouts will be in cryptocurrency or fiat currency, some industry watchers see creditors getting bitcoin in a matter of months.

"Those affected will receive a large sum of bitcoin, likely happening in Q1 or Q2 of 2022," Matthew Dibbs, chief operating officer of crypto firm Stack Funds, told Reuters.

Janet Yellen does not like bitcoin and the cryptospace, we certainly know this already. However, why has she presently changed her opinion and began telling everyone through her speeches that crypto is transformative technology? I am very skeptical of this. I speculate that there might be a magic trick in the end where something like every American user in the cryptospace cannot sell their coins for fiat might occur hehehe.

Devil woman

Speaking to attendees at an American University event, Yellen highlighted the extreme divergence of perceptions about crypto, saying that’s often the case with “transformative” technology.
“Some proponents speak as if the technology is so radically and beneficially transformative that the government should step back completely and let innovation take its course,” she said. “On the other hand, skeptics see limited, if any, value in this technology and associated products and advocate that the government take a much more restrictive approach.”

2790  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-03-30] Apple is rumored to announce support for Bitcoin payments on: April 11, 2022, 02:59:16 AM
@PrimeNumber7. Agreed, Apple is doing good to support the users.. However, as Apple as being this walled garden, it can also be argued that the market demand for everything related to the cryptospace has caused them not to have a choice. Users will buy Android devices if they do not accomodate the users of this new market.

Sorry for your losses.

@OP, fix the date on the title.

Sorry hehehe. Missing 2 years because of the pandemic lockdowns made me think it is still 2020 hehehe.
2792  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-03-30] Apple is rumored to announce support for Bitcoin payments on: April 10, 2022, 02:03:07 AM
However, there was nothing about Apple.
Actually, there was something about Apple Pay and Apple card [14:42 - 15:52], but it had nothing to do with a new partnership with Apple Tongue
- I'm a bit disappointed since I was expecting to see an announcement about the subject in question, but I did like seeing that they've partnered with Blackhawk Network and NCR [can't say the same for the Shopify part since they're not the first one].

I am afraid it was more hype than reality. Everyone was expecting Apple to have more to do with bitcoin, or something similar to Tesla where they hold bitcoin in their treasury hehehe.
2793  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-03-30] Apple is rumored to announce support for Bitcoin payments on: April 09, 2022, 05:43:48 AM
I hate to say it, but I will only believe it when I see it.  There have been so many rumors over the years that it seems unlikely.  Certainly it would be nice given the uptake on Apple Cash/Apple Pay, but I won't believe it until it comes true.

An ETF approval, more uptake of things like Taro to increase usage and stuff like that are important too.

Everyone was waiting for Jack Mallers to announce something in the conference. However, there was nothing about Apple.

yes i just read the news on here https://rekt.news/ronin-rekt/ remain hacked coin still available here https://etherscan.io/address/0x098b716b8aaf21512996dc57eb0615e2383e2f96

but 624 Million is lot of money and sky mavis is also not small company, and i do believe is insider who know the code very well s

Everyone who wants to follow the news and follow the stolen funds should bookmark that Ethereum address and witness the hacker to send them to Tornado Cash for mixing within 2 weeks hehehe. I am quite certain that once those coins enter the Tornado Cash, they are next sent to Sushiswap, Uniswap or any Defi swapping platform. Those coins are gone.
2795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: April 08, 2022, 06:02:05 AM
@goldkingcoiner. It appears you underestimate the commitment of some of the Southeast Asian fighters. If we are talking about commitment, I reckon Pacman has showed that he is one of the most commited boxers in the world. I would reckon that he is the most commited. His record is not perfect, however, he has accomplished more than anyone in the sport of boxing.

Donaire's social media presence is only marketing. I am quite certain his wife has hired someone to run the account and be in charge of promoting Nonito Donaire in Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

Lol, but this so true, remember that Japan is also part of the Asian countries so both fighters from the Philippines and Japan are the same. Maybe what separates more from the PH is that they want to get out of poverty that's why the commitment of fighters like Manny and the rest of the new bred. Yes, Donaire grew up in the States, but he has also accomplished a lot. Or maybe Rachel is also handling the promotion of Nonito is the social media?

No mate, Southeast Asian fighters doesn't include Japanese fighters because Japan is part of the Eastern Asia and not SEA. We might get confused about that sometimes because Asia is a big continent that's why it's divided into 5 regions.

However, I agree that most of the Asian fighters are the same if we're talking about commitment and dedication.

I was arguing for the dedication of the Filipino boxer, Nonito Donaire. If he can win this fight, it will certainly be through his commitment and dedication. Naoya Inoue is younger, stronger, faster and most certainly better than Donaire. My prediction is Inoue will make Donaire sleep with a knockout. However, it will be a victory for old boxer Donaire if he can finish 12 rounds against the young Japanese champion.
2796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 08, 2022, 05:30:11 AM
It appears that the Oscar winner for best acting performance by a fighter in UFC 259 is very much underestimated for this rematch vs. Petr Yan. Aljamain Sterling was training with a neck injury that required surgery. He had the surgery only after the fight and this has taken him many months to heal. I predict a split decision victory for the best actor. He will win rounds 1 to 3 with a round that will be an arguable win for both fighters. Petr Yan will win rounds 4 to 5.

During their first fight, based on score cards, Petr was dominating third round, lost second round, and won first round by split decision. I have gone quickly through Yans score cards in previous fights and he usually looses first round, then win all other rounds. If Aljo did not find a successful strategy in first round or wont be able to eliminate Yan in first round, we will see a repeat of their first fight. I think that Aljo is not taking this fight serious. He is clowning around, when Yan is pumped to get his belt back.

I do not remember what occured during the first fight, however, Petr Yan is a human computer in the octagon. He will download the strategy of his opponents during the beginning of the fight before planning his own attacks. Also, if Aljamain Sterling did not have a neck injury during training, I speculate that he would not have gotten very tired and he might have won by points.
2797  Economy / Speculation / Re: Terra cofounder Do Kwon is the one who is pumping Bitcoin on: April 08, 2022, 03:35:05 AM
I am not certain why bitcoin is dumping
You sometimes say things that make no sense, specially since you aren't new.
3-4% fluctuations are not called "dumping" something bigger than $10% is. That means if price had fallen down to $39k-$40k then you could have called it "dumping" not when it goes from $44k to $46k then to $43k then back to $45k, rinse and repeat.

What makes no sense? The terminology for pump or dump has become nuanced in trading. The definition for the word pump is only the act of buying. This is also similar to dump which is the act of selling. The terms pump and dump were derived from the activites of scammers where they would make false promises on a penny stock or a scamcoin and pump the stock 10x then dump them. Presently I am only using the nuanced definition. However, suggest another word and we will use that.
2798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance saves Sky Mavis, the creator of Axie Infinity after hack on: April 08, 2022, 02:25:15 AM
This is a great move by Binance and it makes it even more comfortable to be involved with what projects Sky Mavis has. Being backed up by an exchange really shows that it has potential in it. I do hope they somehow recover what they lost because there are people affected by it and having inside job is even more sketchy. That's going to take a lot of work from the  team to rebuild the trust again.

I think we will see in the coming days what has become of it.

What also made Binance's move very smart is they are also saving the Philippine crypto market which is also one of the largest communities in the cryptospace. Binance also is the only exchange that has a peer to peer platform for selling and buying SLP to fiat.

2800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] George Kambosos vs Devin Haney - Undisputed Lightweight Title - June 5 on: April 07, 2022, 05:47:19 AM

This fight will take place at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia on June 5, 2022.

There's no official odds yet but obviously Kambosos will be favorited with +190 while Haney will become an underdog with -220

I don't know why Haney is the huge underdog he has proven himself and has been dominating the lightweight division, Kambosos is a great fighter but I still consider Haney the best lightweight champion even better than Ryan Garcia, the boxing community saw a big motivation for Kambosos because it will be held in Australia and we all know what happened to Pacquiao when he fought there, but we have a fighter here in Haney who can overcome all odds I precited he will beat Kambosos hopefully by knock out because we all know home town decision can have an impact here.

Its usually what will happen when fights will be done in the country of one boxer. Sometimes a referee or a judge will be bias. Two undisputed.champions fighting can be hard to foresee whom to out your money on. But if the fight is in the country of one, you can expect a bias.

With Haney's experience versus Kambosos, you can be sure to look at Haney to be more versatile. And is the underdog? They definitely degraded him already even the fight hasnt started yet

Being labeled as an underdog is just a term to determine which one is better to bet because normally the favorites are there basis but on this one, but being an underdog doesn't coincide the strength and power of the boxer beholds. You'd be careful where to bet because Haney here is more versatile than Kambosos, he is just lucky because the fight will be hosted in his own home soil.

I do believe Haney has lot of chance to win. But I'm not going to be surprise if Haney loses thru the bias judge. I'd be more convince if the referee is using an ear piece during the fight.

I would rate them to be a perfect match both have their strength to knockout. Haney could even be more technical but my take is its going to be beyond their boxing skills when the venue is to consider.

Devin Haney also appears to be more faster in the ring, I reckon. We also have witnessed that George Kambosos wants an opponent who would be in front of him and box, very much similar to Teofimo Lopez. However, Haney will not be this fighter. This will certainly be a much harder fight for Kambosos.

Also, @Jawhead999. Kambosos is not favorited for the fight, he is underdogged hehehe.
