281  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Have people been forced to pay tax over Bitcoin yet? on: November 19, 2017, 05:22:37 PM
Quite curious if this has been the case. Obviously I'm hoping it haven't been the case.
Forcing bitcoin users to pay up taxes would really be impossible but this thing can be done when people are engaging into those centralized exchanges which would really end up to get a % of their profits or holding as those exchanges would really follow on the imposed laws of a certain county on which it do belong. They don't have the choice but to follow it.This is the only way that I can see that bitcoin users can be taxed excluded on the fees being deducted on our each transactions.
Transaction fees this is not a tax. Taxes can be levied only by state bodies. Who can control all the miners whether they have the money transferred to the tax? Only many people like bitcoin because it does not require the payment of taxes. I am sure that most of us paid taxes in Fiat misused. I am opposed to bitcoin is controlled by the state and supported by our politicians taxes.

283  Economy / Economics / Re: Where do you spend your money from Bitcoin? on: November 10, 2017, 08:16:20 PM
I don't spend bitcoins. It turns out that we all spend only Fiat. All, without exception, are now forced to change their bitcoins for Fiat, and only then make purchases. Had the chance to see changes in this direction but after the abolition of segwit2x this perspective began to move away. It now remains for the government to impose taxes and bitcoin will lose much of their capitalization.
284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Supporters Welcome SegWit2x Cancellation on: November 10, 2017, 08:11:16 PM
I don't know who reacted positively to the cancellation segwit2x but the price of bitcoin fell by $ 1,000. You want to say that this is a positive reaction? Lol. If bitcoin does not change we may be witnessing its collapse. Now in the cryptocurrency market there are many competitors who can offer more favorable conditions. We have become hostage to the greed of miners. Don't understand why users happy.
285  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Countries with best BTC taxes & regulations for individuals (not companies) on: November 09, 2017, 04:07:37 PM
The state may have a claim only in the case if you change bitcoin to Fiat. If you store bitcoin there are no taxes to be paid. It seems to me that if it is possible to spend bitcoins in the online store the state will not qualify for taxes. But you need to bitcoin has been upgraded. Due to the fact that segwit2x postponed indefinitely we will not soon see the opportunity.
286  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Do ICO's need licenses? on: November 09, 2017, 04:00:55 PM
Lately there's been a lot of talk about regulation. What about ICO's?

What do you see with the ones complying with governments? It seems to be a big play longevity wise.

For ex. Unikrn got their Malta license, making esports fiat wagering legal in most of europe. Does this pave the way for future ico's? Should this be an indicator of a good, trustworthy ico?

More info: https://www.coindesk.com/regulated-cryptocurrency-betting-just-got-big-boost-europe/

This must be a necessary for all ICO's to be required to operate with license so that their is assurance for the people that the sites in which they will pour their investments are safe and secured and that their hard earned money will not be lost. By regulating, the ICO will be determine if legit or not because they will be required to submit of lot of necessary documents to prove the legitimacy of their business.
It seems to me that you're oversimplifying the problem. Think about the classic banking system. In order to open the Bank to obtain a license. You are constantly under the control of the Central Bank which is the regulator of the market. It interferes with the bankers to bring the banks into bankruptcy? They just bypass the bans and deprive people of their savings.
287  Economy / Speculation / Re: Segwit2X players - vanquished or on hold? on: November 09, 2017, 12:21:24 PM
Will they just go off and attempt another approach via the back door or do you believe this has put this issue to bed for the foreseeable future?

Basically that. I am actually surprised to see the hard fork being put to a *temporary* stop, while for a lot insanely wealthy holders there is plenty to gain from such a major event. I am sure that malicious entities such as Jihan and Ver were already counting their instant profits, but they have to swallow this as a loss, at least for now. It was quite funny how Ver was looking to bet with others that the value of S2X would exceed the value of the legacy chain. Especially when you consider that the bet he makes is utterly insignificant in comparison to his overall wealth, and the fact that he is so confident. It just shows what kind of joker he is - he now has plenty of time to put in his 'precious' BCC project.
I hope that we will come back to the idea of increasing block size. Perhaps the developers will find the opportunity to gain an understanding of shahterov the fact that it is necessary. If this does not happen then I think the other way, as the fork will not. Might just be a new coin that will be better adapted to such situations and capital users gradually migrate to this coin.
288  Economy / Speculation / Re: SW2x cancelation will crash Bitcoin on: November 09, 2017, 12:15:19 PM
SW2x was Bitcoins hope. Now that scaling bitcoin is once again out of sight for the foreseeable future,  we can expect prices to fall back to levels before there was any hope. People will look for scaleable alternatives again as they did before.
We can easily fall back to 2500-3000 levels within a week. 1000-1500 within a month is very likely.
No hope, no value.
You are not right. Of course I support the idea of increasing block size. But I do not believe that it will greatly affect the price of bitcoin. Such prices as you call it is fantastic. The miners did not support segwit2x because of their greed. If you start such a fall in prices they can easily stop. The same greed will not allow that to happen.
289  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fork gone! BTC to $10k in 2017 guaranteed! on: November 09, 2017, 12:10:30 PM
I think BTC will tank to the $6k or so mark, before slowly climbing back up. I doubt it will hit 10K this year. May be wrong, but with the hardfork nonsense out of the way, people are moving funds back into atls.

Yeah - this is the most likely scenario. There isn't any more news to attach a pump to, so people will slowly take profits.

All of bitcoin's problems remain, the inability to scale, the mempool backlog, the fees. I expect attention will now turn to the alts to see if one of them can actually be used as a currency.
You are wrong. Such news is. But maybe after a fork suspended this action will be delayed. I will remind you that Amazon announced its intention to introduce the possibility of payment for bitcoin. It is possible that this decision is expected segwit2x. If this solution was introduced into the life of the bitcoin price immediately exceeded $ 10,000.
290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2X Cancelled on: November 08, 2017, 06:58:04 PM
Any speculations on the price? Price was climbing towards $7500 and suddenly dropped to $7000. So is it going to drop more or gonna increase to 8000k?
I think that the price of bitcoin does not depend on the forks. Logically, the price had to fall but we saw that she was growing up after each bifurcation. The price is completely under the control of the whales. They can manipulate the price to their advantage and it is impossible to predict. I believe that bitcoin will become better. Miners must understand that high fees brake for bitcoin and they can always find something to compensate for their reduction.
291  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-08] RUSSIA STARTS BLOCKING CRYPTOCURRENCY-FOCUSED SITES on: November 08, 2017, 06:51:32 PM
Which sites? The article doesn't name any. They could be total obscurities for all we know, and knowing how clueless the Russians have been so far they probably are.

What's the score with VPNs in Russia? Are they going for a Chinese style wipe out of all of them? Russia is a strange place indeed.
All operators in Russia that offer VPN services signed an agreement with the government about what will be on demand to provide the government with information about users and ensure disables the ability to go through VPN for restricted sites. Russia is a totalitarian state and they can expect any action. I hope that the Russians will show their attitude to Putin in the next elections.
292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2x is dead, long live Bitcoin on: November 08, 2017, 06:38:08 PM
What good in this news? It seems to me that this is not a final decision. If the problem is that hiding from it will not work. It will still have to decide. Perhaps the supporters of increasing the size of the unit will pause in order to better prepare for this. I hope that they will find arguments to convince the miners and we will see what bitcoin will become better.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sewgit2x for better or for worse? on: November 08, 2017, 10:28:32 AM
The idea segwit2x good. The increase in unit is long overdue. All bitcoin users want the transfers were faster and cheaper. I certainly advocate this to not happen by the bifurcation. I am a supporter of planned modernization without hard forks in the road and negative consequences for all users.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A newbie just killed Ethereum on: November 08, 2017, 10:15:39 AM
i hope everybody who lost money in the parity events did not depend on that money for food or shelter. Now that being said let's have a laugh so we can relax a bit while we find for a solution.
https://www.captiongenerator.com/764622/Interview-with-Tim-M-Zagar-about-Parity-wallets#.WgLP0zMeyA0.facebook
Easy to laugh when you weren't there invested money. The people in the Ethereum have invested many thousands of dollars. I never trust aliminum. I can mine some coins but I immediately exchanged for bitcoin. I think that someday the entire capital invested in altcoins will enter service in bitcoin.
295  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Best Countries for Bitcoin Businesses on: November 07, 2017, 04:55:41 PM
A bet for China as well because they have the biggest market due to their population and the growth of their economy. Philippines is also a good choice Tongue
The pace of development of China's economy has decreased significantly. It seems to me that it is impossible to rely on one country even if we are talking about China. Fortunately bitcoin has no borders and if China does not want to participate in the crypto economy, their place will be taken by other countries. The market will regulate everything itself.
296  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-07] Bitcoin's Performance Off the Charts, Literally on: November 07, 2017, 04:51:26 PM
Literally, Bitcoins have reached far beyond its investors' expectations. Although, not to be really greedy about it, I still want it to reach as much as $20,000. I am hopeful this will all materialize before the year ends. Others say we have to think of buying Altcoins because Bitcoins have already reached the topmost value it could ever achieve in week's time; but I disagree. I think there are higher chances for it to increase more so we all have just to keep still.
We can discuss any strategy but it seems to me that we are all in the hands of whales. They always have the option to raise or lower the price. Without the involvement of mechanisms of regulation of the market bitcoin will never be stable. It's bad for business and so we see that bitcoin cannot be a currency. This was the main purpose of its creation.
297  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin better than stocks, real-estate? on: November 07, 2017, 04:47:05 PM
Bitcoin now do for its yield is higher than any stock and real estate. But in the long run your investment in real estate have a high level of protection against collapse. Property prices are now at the bottom. It is always in demand asset. It is less risky and therefore less income. But this income is guaranteed.
298  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs Gold : manipulation through derivatives on: November 07, 2017, 11:30:30 AM
Russia and China use gold because they can't offer something different. China of course has now become a locomotive of the world economy but this applies only to production. If the Western countries will come up with a mechanism to return production capacity to their countries the dominance of China can very quickly end. About Russia in General can not speak. This country does not depend. It seems to me that if all countries had the opportunity to impose its own currency as the Americans, they would use it.
299  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulating Bitcoin on: November 07, 2017, 11:18:44 AM
Cryptocurrency has been widely criticised for lack of regulation. Do you think it is possible to come up with a regulatory framework around Bitcoin?

i think in future, each of government will apply some regulation for bitcoin especially for bitcoin user related with the crypto currency become widely in every country. but we still don't know what kind of regulating from the government and i hope that the government will not disappointing bitcoin user and will allow bitcoin to be used for their citizen. i think its not too long to see the regulated from each of government is apply and i think we can prepare for this and obey the rule.
Well I think when bitcoin become regulate in countries so I think it’s very good for bitcoin and as well for the users because when bitcoin become regulate in courtiers so the first thing is bitcoin price will become more high and secondly bitcoin will be accountable for tax as well because when something is accountable for tax so that thing is going to do more progress.
Is this a joke? How bitcoin can go up in price if it will impose taxes? Now the price of bitcoin has increased due to the fact that it is increasing its capitalization. Bitcoin is not involved in the economy and therefore other source of capitalization. You know who invests in bitcoin money? Maybe it's money ill-gotten and they will leave bitcoin for legalization?
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 8 GPU limit with AMD!? on: November 06, 2017, 03:26:26 PM
Why do you create such a large installation? The price difference between installation with a large number of rigs and little rigs in favor of the price of the plants with a small amount of the GPU. You risk all of your 8 or more, the GPU will stop. When you use little installation in case of problems you will stop at a fewer number of towers and you'll have less losses.
