You seem to live in the illusion that the US governs the world, while it seems that they can't even govern themselves. Havelock nor their operators are based in the US, so the SEC can go fuck themselves.

There's a reason exchanges exist, I don't think it's a good development that each stock wants to start its own internal/direct exchange.

Who is fucking who here? LRM is in the USA and is governed by US law. SEC is in charge of anything IN THE USA that might be construed as a public stock offering. So, perhaps you would like to take a breath and check your shit before you spout FUD like a troll. If Havelock is making what might be construed as a public offering of shares available for purchase directly by USA citizens they most certainly will have something to say about it. Bitfunder is in Australia and a lot of good that did.

Bottom line is that LRM is working on it. If you do not trust him to sort it out let me know and I would be happy to buy your bonds from you at current rates.
And you think creating a separate exchange would solve that problem? Doesn't that just create another attack vector for the SEC?

Just btw, I'm totally cool here. You on the other hand seem a bit nervous, attacking me for raising a few concerns, maybe you should take a deep breath next time you rage around here.

ASICSRUS, shut up. Ffs.
Ignoring is the best solution here. This just feeds the troll.

And, no. There is no breach of contract here.
Could you quote part of the contract that allowed him to charge the fee?

or are you planning on moving to another exchange?
Errr, what exchange exactly do you suggest? There are none left other than Havelock and I for one would not place much effort in making a switch as you can fully expect that they will be the next group to be in the focus of the SEC. If you were to read a little further you would see that LRM is working on a viable longer term solution which is based on self trading within his own website etc. This will also serve (I expect) to keep him onside of securities laws in the USA which are not something to be trifled with.....

284  Economy / Securities / Re: selling 2660 TAT.VIRTUALMINE shares 1xbt OBO on: October 20, 2013, 03:09:52 PM
I have to apologize, I hold both virtualmine and asicminer shares.  After receiving a large number of responses, I realized my mistake.  The shares are from the passthrough virtualmine from TAT.

Again, sorry to get anyone's hopes up, as that would have been an amazing deal.

I'll take bids at this point.  Trading on btct is coming to a close, and I need to let these go.  I'm not even getting dividends since the shares should have migrated already.
If you're lucky your shares are worth between 0.20-0.35. I'd just write it off as a loss and move on.
285  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on [BTC-TC] on: October 20, 2013, 03:06:08 PM
Dividends are being held until the announcement at the end of October, which will then be distributed to the Bitcoin/Litecoin address you have submitted.
I can't see a point in the contract that allows you from withholding dividend payments. Especially not without communicating with shareholders about this.

The dividends are going to a wallet dedicated to Cognitive, separate from my personal funds, so that statement is false.
Right now I am on my way to San Francisco to negotiate a deal with Hashfast. It has always been my philosophy to diversify in mining hardware, so as to minimize potential loss (in the event of a non-delivery).
Just out of curiosity. Is that wallet paying for your trip?
286  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: October 20, 2013, 04:39:19 AM
I'm wondering where in the contract it says something about a fee for manual dividend payouts. I just read about that and that's quite a breach of contract. Also what stopped you from paying via BitFunder besides raking in a bit more cash for your own wallet?

Also I couldn't figure out what happens with the shares after Oct 22nd. Direct share structure or are you planning on moving to another exchange?
287  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMiner Shares Drop {Multiple Producers of ASIC Boards} on: October 20, 2013, 03:19:05 AM
Besides some other flaws in this video, I'm mostly curious about that "new law" you're talking about, effecting the security exchanges. Do you have a source for that or is it made up like the rest of the video?

As far as I know there's in fact a bill or act (sorry I'm not from the US, so whatever you call it) which effectively should do the opposite.
288  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: October 19, 2013, 06:29:41 PM
oh the meter works based on block found?

i thought is real time direct from hardware source. meh then its stupid reason for that little price jump.

new gen is still far, and they will still need to keep some of dividend, clues can be found earlier post above R&D
Stock prices are always bets on the future. If the second gen is as successful as the first one we can see stock prices like a few months ago again.

Quelle?

Candoo schafft es seit Wochen nicht auf die Vorwürfe zu reagieren, er zögert eine Antwort nur heraus. Finde ich sehr merkwürdig.

How about getting in the WoT?
Well he could have wasted time getting rep there. Instead he built a quite remarkable service, where he can proof his reliability.

I see last dividend at 7th of october, then nothing  Huh

Same here.

I am also curious to know where the dividends are going right now? Still through btct or should we be getting them directly to our bitcoin address?
Well at the moment right into Garr's pocket
293  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: October 18, 2013, 12:02:33 PM
Did burnside do the last dividend payment (directly to BTC address) or was that already done by friedcat?

When do I know my shares are transformed into direct shares?

Well at least they're actively managing their propaganda
295  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] Questions deleted by Sam on: October 18, 2013, 11:41:53 AM
Well, thank god I'm no longer invested in Labcoin, but who the fuck decided to go to cryptostocks and how drunk was he?
It looks like it has a "Fee Surcharge" feature. "Max. is 0.3%, this % will be added on top of the standard trading fee. All proceedings will be credited to the project issuer." Given that Labcoin was behind a lot of BTC-TC's volume, it is indeed interesting for Scam Noi! (edit: actually, LBC has no fee surcharge. my bad)
Maybe they just forgot to set the surcharge

But if they were to scam, why didn't they just disappear after BTCT shutdown? More money to be made on cryptostocks?
296  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on [BTC-TC] on: October 18, 2013, 11:31:53 AM
I see there were dividend payments on BTCT. How about the PT on litecoinglobal???

298  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTCT][BFMINES] - Mining Contracts Now Available - Bonus Divs First Months on: October 18, 2013, 02:22:18 AM
As announced, BTCT, the current trading site for BFMines, has decided to shut its doors shortly.

Please read carefully, you need to do one specific action.

BFMines' primary purpose is not to be a trading vehicle but a mining contract. As such, the closure of a certain trading platform does not impact the primary operation of the contracts.

BFMines will continue to operate, expecting delivery of the first miner very shortly. Once the miners arrive, you will receive dividends as planned.

To accomodate continued operation, you need to update your profile and set your public withdrawal address. To do so, log in to BTCT and go to your profile.

Trading on BTCT will stop on October 7 on BTCT. 24 hours in advance, on October 6 2013, I will halt trading on BFMines on BTCT. I will also investigate whether public trading on a different exchange will make sense, or whether private listing is a better option.

One temporary change will happen as a result of this. BTCT offered a feature to schedule dividend payments into the future. When this feature disappears with the site, I will change the payout to pay in advance each difficulty period based on a 10 day difficulty period. Any remaining time in the difficulty period will be paid out next period. Any surplus dividends paid will be deducted from the next period.

This will only mean you get dividends sooner, so it is to the benefit of contract holders only. This is a temporary measure until I can find a solutoin to paying daily dividends. The advance payments will come from the operator's funds so will not affect the surplus capacity funds.

Until the future trading of BFMines is clarified, no further IPO contracts will be available for purchase.

Thank you for your patience and understanding in this transition. Do not hesitate to ask questions in the forum if you have them.

.b

So there was no dividend paid until now. What's planned?
299  Economy / Securities / Re: New dice game on: October 16, 2013, 03:47:57 PM
I'd like to invest 10BTC

Please reply without sarcasm do you really want to invest 10BTC Huh
If you can't trust potential investors making serious statements, you should rethink the way you handled this. Maybe wait a couple weeks and start over with a better, more detailed presentation of your idea.

Otherwise noone will take you seriously, which makes it hard for you to take others seriously.

2000 posts since June and nearly zero value add to the threads I've seen him post on. I have him on ignore personally - I'd prefer lurkers who never post over thread crappers who respond to everything they see.
But lurkers don't get that precious activity.
