281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens??? on: July 09, 2020, 06:24:49 AM
Yes, certainly there is and there could be more risks. it is likely that we will lose more money if people do not have the knowledge of project analysis. Currently, with the current economy, it is very difficult for new projects to operate stably and successfully, most of them are just promises and after the failure, they gather investors' money and run. This is the most common case in the crypto market so investing is quite risky. You should consider carefully when investing large amounts.
Yes it is really risky to invest in cryptocurrencies. There are risks because the value keeps on changing. Some cryptocurrency sites keeps on making projects and when someone bet on large amount of money they would just run and scam the investments. So as an investor you must always check and research about the problem before joining and investing especially of you would bet on a large amount as your investment.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is no ROI if the crypto is a stablecoin on: July 09, 2020, 02:42:56 AM
Stablecoin is designed as a stable currency so that people can anchor their assets before price storms rather than making a profit. In fact, sometimes USDT is a bit more or less than $ 1 if it is traded directly, but this rarely happens so people do not consider stablecoin as an investment channel.

There are different stablecoins for different purposes. No stablecoin is perfectly stable. They are pegged to some other stable asset but because of latency or something they are not always of identical value. Other stablecoins stabilize their own rate, so they are even less stable. They are considered stablecoins because of their effort to keep the price stable.
Yes there are different stablecoins in every purpose. If the stablecoin is perfectly stable it would not earn money. The value of coins varies depending on the charts and trades. Some stable coins are considered as stable because it can manage the prices in the market. They are able to make the money in its value at a range. It doesn't goes down that low. Because of it the specific stable coim could stand on its own and not being bankrupt.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum SCAM? on: July 09, 2020, 02:02:25 AM
No your data is inaccurate and you are simply making a ussue for no reason. Eth is a really good coin and it has surely attracted companies like Microsoft and morgan and I'm pretty sure you can't fool these companies as they would have done thousands of research work before investing millions in it.
Yes I agree ethereum is a good coin. Ethereum is one of the leading company nowadays. Many high end companies already trusted ethereum just like as what you have said the Microsoft and Morgan and yes those companies do not invest immediately. They first research and search about the cryptocurrency in which they want to invest to. The reason why they are successful nowadays is because they choose the best cryptocurrency in which to invest to. That makes them so successful and one component is to invest in ethereum.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: should i invest to this project ? on: July 08, 2020, 01:38:44 PM
If you have never invested in anything - it is better to start with something simpler and clearer, look at existing investment tips, and not come to the forum on the Internet and ask people what they think about the project that they see for the first time in their life. If you are too lazy to google it - do not think that they will do it for you.
Yes investing is sometimes risky. If you want to invest you need to check it first and have some researches. But if you do not cash out money for it just look for simple projects and campaigns. You can use simple campaigns as a practice and you can make it as a stepping stone for you to be better. Do not be lazy in goggling things and always make sure to achieve and finish things in your deadlines.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your opinion about HEX? on: July 08, 2020, 12:55:43 PM
If I see it today at CMC, it seems to have gone up to 2 satoshis.
But I don't think this token will go up any further because when viewed from its volume it is very small. Nobody is interested in the token. Unless the developer releases a very good update for the token. Maybe there will be interest from some people to buy it.
I think the developer of this HEX is not that active. Though the coins is really good it is not advertised well that is why it is lacking competency. The developer also do not post updates about it that is why many people are lacking of interest about it.
In HEX they are paying holders as a reward instead of the minets. In this trading website an investor can lock up their funds and wait for the charts and trades and in due time they can withdraw their investment and interest with it as a return on investment. This is really good because you will be secured with your investment.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best mobile crypto wallet? on: July 08, 2020, 12:00:31 PM
First of all, we must understand what cryptocurrencies are, then we would definitely understand the importance of choosing the right cryptocurrency wallet for the cryptocurrency you are holding.Cryptocurrencies have been in the limelight lately because of its market fluctuations and mesmerizing technological innovation. But to invest or trade in digital currencies, getting a cryptocurrency wallet is one of the major requisition. Without a wallet, there can be no transactions.Do your own research and find the best wallet for you.
I also heard about the coinbase wallet but I am not able to use it. I am using coins.ph because this bitcoin wallet is already tested. In coins.ph, I am able to make my money secured. I am always at peace because I know that my bitcoin is safe. In this wallet I am also able to make my money grow because in here I can send money to my friends, I am also allowed to pay bills in here and have a cashback. Also I can buy loads using this app and have a 10% cashback.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You want the best for your new project? on: July 07, 2020, 09:06:54 PM
You want the best for your new project? I am strictly pointing at these exchanges because they are now intentionally supporting bad projects without remorse, these following exchanges never have any good results on IEO projects since last year's now

1. P2PB2B
2. Vindax
3. Exmarket
4. Bitcratic
5. Latoken

I wish these exchanges can just disappeared from the face of crypto space forever, developers smarten up and go for better exchanges unless you are a scammer yourself because these exchanges are now scammers den.

What is your basis in supporting or using these exchanges? Some of these exchanges are not really familiar to me and probably this is the first time I see known about it. And I agreed to not support this exchange I only using 1 exchange which is Binance which is I think doing a good job and have a lot of potentials as an exchange there are also so many you features as they continue to develop their exchange. Most of it was adopted in some of the countries or getting new conversion in a lot of countries' currency so it could be easier to go in and out with your funds using Binance.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No exchange? No Value! on: July 07, 2020, 08:43:30 PM
So I bought an altcoin called batcoin from a cryptocurrency exchange website. I even withdrew all my coins to an offline wallet, because I don't exactly trust exchange websites. However, the exchange it was listed is now gone, due to a hack.

So now I am stuck with coins that have no value.  Undecided

Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

What do you think I should do now?

Your right if the token is not listed in any exchanges the token will have no value at all. Just like what other dead altcoins in the market end up because the owner of the project didn't really put an effort to get the token or altcoin listed in the exchange. Without the exchange, the market price would be zero. Also, you cannot sell your holdings, the thing here is if the exchange it was listed was hacked you might need to find a new exchange that is listed or going to be listed. It's not going to get a price so you need to wait until it gets listed in a new exchange but I doubt it a lot of tokens is not going to get listed in some popular exchanges.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The return of ICOs on: July 07, 2020, 08:27:54 PM
Guys, do you think that ICOs could make a come back? I do and here is why. Every year dozens of companies raise money in Silicon Valley for startups, many pre revenue. Also, with the economy injured from nCov19, it would make sense to allow for new economies. This would include letting new startups in Blockchain raise money, and imo if they are well vetted, and trusted by the community, they should be allowed to raise money. What do you think?

I think back in the day or 2017 ICO is really trendy especially here for some bounty hunters since a lot of users earn a big amount of reward even in the past year 2017 there are already a lot of scam ICO's but a higher percentage of ICO's is going to give you a reward even if its small but the important thing is it is not a scam. I guess as to the scam ICO raises even and this year I think ICO is not going to make a comeback as there are already a lot of tokens or altcoins in the market leaving a lot of it as dead tokens.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTCOIN to the MOON on: July 07, 2020, 08:09:10 PM
These opportunities for altcoin by addon and include part of everything, that very good. And can make the new flagship on blockchain technology.

As you can see this is only altcoins technology or just alternative for bitcoin technology as the bitcoin market becoming a success the altcoins technology wanted also to create a new bitcoin technology creating altcoin. As we can see even today the altcoin market is doing a great job and probably have great potential in the market. But I think a lot of famous altcoins in the market have the potential to pump to the moon just like Ethereum, Monero, etc. but compared to the volatility of the bitcoin it was not close.
291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some of the benefits of Bitcoin ... on: July 07, 2020, 12:29:46 PM
Bitcoin most popular because of volatility. We are getting advantage of bitcoin volatility and making money. There is many more technical benefits but honestly most of us like bitcoin for above reason. As you said wallet protect privacy which isn't, bitcoin itself protect your privacy if you do not expose your address to others. Wallet just for control your funds, if you use web wallet then it would expose your privacy by so called KYC system. Main technical benefits are you don't need any third party to transfer your fund to anywhere on the world at any time without any central organisation.
Yes, I agree because of volatility the bitcoin really rise up. Through this bitcoin volatility we can get so much money and of course advantages. In here we could get so much money. But then bitcoin is really dangerous when it comes to our investments. Through the bitcoin addresses someone can get personal informations from you so we must always be careful. As a bitcoin user you must always be smart in giving personal informations in different websites. Your bitcoin addresses is really important to make your bitcoin secured. Online wallets or web wallets are far more dangerous and more likely to be hacked that is why we must always be careful.
292  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [Paano] Magbigay ng Bitcoin bilang regalo on: July 07, 2020, 11:46:49 AM
I am sure magagamit talaga yan and matutuwa ang taong reregaluhan mo nito.
294  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [Trading 101] Basic Trading Tutorial on: July 06, 2020, 03:36:22 PM
baka mag trade ako kung malaki na yung capital ko for trading, maybe i will read more trading tutorials since coming soon pa yung iba ni OP. I don't know what are the experience of people here trading kasi kadalasan sa narinig ko dito hodl lang, yung mga traders dito ano ba yung experience nyo sa trading, puro ba green?

Sa pamamagitan ng ganitong technique mamamaximize natin ang cash natin and magiging handa tayo sa nga possibilities that we will experience in the trading journey. You are free naman na dagdagan ang investment mo for trading anytime so pwede kang magbawas o magdagdag ng investment.
295  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: nCOV(Corona Virus) at Cryptocurrency on: July 06, 2020, 03:11:07 PM

Actually it can, indirectly. Ang stocks ay considered as financial asset. At definitely affected ang stock markets ngayon dahil sa nCoV; especially ung mga Chinese stocks at U.S. stocks na significant audience nila is from China. Previous reply: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5222062.msg53742534#msg53742534

Mababa ang presyo at if ever malaki ang kikitain mo as a return on investment.
296  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Cheapest way to send php to the Philippines via bitcoin? (normie-friendly) on: July 06, 2020, 02:24:22 PM
That's good to know about Abra but yet but MK4 said it has a "slightly worse UI and less withdrawal methods" - would you say that is not the case?
With coins.ph I can just tell people to make an account there and send me the btc wallet they create there; they figure out themselves how to convert or use what I send. Would the same be possible with Abra? Imagine your average IQ illiterate peanuts vendor in Makati ave.

It's possible but I think it's much easier with coins.ph because of the accessibility you could use their service in both the browser or the app while with Abra you're only limited to their app. I agree abra is a good competitor against coins but imo they're still lacking at some parts when compared to coins like the limited withdrawal methods (only bank and remit) but overall their service is still quite good as they're less strict with KYC they could start receiving bitcoins after registration and cash out. Your friend could probably figure it out on their own as abra have faqs and articles about converting to php, cashing out, etc.
Yes, I agree that it is much better and easier to transfer money or bitcoin using coins.ph. Many people are already using coins.ph and it is really accessible, it is already tested by many. Coins.ph is an application downloadable online at google playstore, you can immediately download the application and use it. But then you must be verified using your identification card before having withdrawal transactions. If you want to pay bills using the coins.ph you are allowed to do it and with a cash back. You can also buy load using this application and get 10% cashback. This can also send money to banks and other onlime wallets.
297  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Scammers BTC addresses at iba pa on: July 06, 2020, 12:36:48 PM
Siguro ang best purpose neto is to history check the scammers addresses.
Since nagsisimula palang sila kaunti palang knowledge nila sa cryptocurrency so prone talaga sila sa mga scams and hackers. Marami kasing mga hackers nowadays, so gagawa at gagawa pa rin ang mga scammers at hackers ng paraan para makapanloko, marami talaga yung mga gumagamit ng iba't ibang addresses para lang makapanghack so we all need to be knowledgeable talaga para di tayo maloko. And of course kailangang maging maingat tayo at maging mapanuri bago sumali sa mga project campaigns para naman hindi masayang ang mga effort at oras natin.
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some college students in Alabama bet money to see who gets COVID19 first on: July 03, 2020, 05:37:45 PM
Some university students in Alabama were denounced to the authorities for organizing "COVID Parties". The organizers of the party invited people tested positive from COVID19 to transmit the virus to the attendees. It was about betting on who would be positive for the virus first. They put money in a pot and the first one to test positive took the loot.

Alabama has registered to date 40111 positive cases, recoveries 15974, new cases 996 and deaths 841.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/abcnews.go.com/amp/US/alabama-students-throwing-covid-parties-infected-officials/story%3fid=71552514

Seems not a good idea or should I say not a good thing to bet to. And what are you going to do if you win the game celebrate? because your friend already had COVID-19 lol. The COVID-19 virus is really not a joke and gambling or betting for money is not a good idea especially with this kind of bet. Might be a good game if they are going to make the bet opposite, whoever gets the COVID19 last wins so that they are all going to be careful. You never know who is going to infected if you already have the virus it could be your family or friends so don't make it a joke a lot of people die already.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in this new IEO on: July 03, 2020, 04:23:37 PM
Hello, I am new to blockchain and I stumbled on how successful Binance IEO is and the recent IEO conducted there, I witnessed how the coin price spiked after IEO. So i discovered that Latoken is about conducting an IEO. Is it a wise decision to invest?

It might be a good idea but compared to the bounties in the past that really give a good reward I think I might stay away from this kind of projects since it's still similar to the projects in the past. I suggest that you do a lot of research on the projects that you are really going to invest in it before investing in it because there is a big chance that this is a new way of scamming people's money. If you really know what you are doing I think you could still give it a shot or even try it there are still a lot of legitimate and popular companies doing projects.
300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to recover funds from bitcoin scam on: July 03, 2020, 03:33:16 PM
Hello. I invested in in Coinxcryptominingcom last year which turned out to be a scam site. I posted on instagram about my ordeal and was recently contacted by @_jacob.armstrong about recovering my lost funds. He suggested contacting slushpool.com and gave me an email contact@slushpool.co.uk to explain my story. I sent them my transactions with wallet addresses to where i sent my funds and this is the response I received.

Good Day ,
We can see from our records and investigations that all your money is on a cloud crypto currency wallet and none of it is lost This is because the CME  ( Chicago Mercantile Exchange)  gap got filled at $9200 on the 2019-6-16 08:42pm which is the exact time you sent 0.31433482  BTC  ($2,861),
See the has code below as all your money in the cloud has amounted to this
https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/1MvuFAodHn775joqCnahJTiHuMnsQZnxM9

However, we have tested your funding several times and each time it got exhausted by the blockchain liquidation machine.
Nevertheless, we can successfully say all your money is in safe hands and the only way for all your money is to be released  is if  you are  to make an API Integration fee payment so all your funds amounting  to 8.79034054 BTC  will be released within  5  hours

You need to send 0.20 BTC ($1,897) as a fee to claim back your account.
And the additional fee of 0.20 BTC ($1,897) to recover all your funds.
We can say the total amounting to 0.41 BTC ($3,700) this payment is to be made within 48 hours if you want a successful refund of all your funds

The payment is to be made into this BTC address:  14hBpJncS6fqKZqoYAjRCGmbc63ZhLJ6Xs

Is this another scam? Any insight would greatly be appreciated.

Not a good move sorry for your loss. Basically, if you send fund or bitcoin to an address like this if it's already confirmed in the blockchain there is no way you could still recover your funds if it's already confirmed. Unless somehow you reported it to the authority and caught the company they might be available to recover the stolen funds from you. But sending bitcoin to recover your funds or to claim back your account etc. Bro that's obviously a big scam you might need to- do a little research first in the websites that you are planning in invest with.
