The Monaco GP was no different than a nightmare for Charles Leclerc indeed. I think that he would win that race definitely unless there was a big problem like engine failure etc.. His pace was incredibly good until that incident. He wasn't having a big problem on opening the gap more with the other drivers. I think that this mistake was absolutely Ferrari's not anyone else's. They should have made their plan properly according to the situation. They caused Leclerc to lose so much time and caused him to finish the race at the fourth spot barely.

Dortmund are a very similar team to Ajax actually. Both of these teams like to help promising players to reach their potential by giving them many opportunities. Erling Haaland was one of those players for Dortmund. He wasn't known much before he came to Dortmund. But after he started to show his big talent in a very impressive way, big teams were racing with each other to sign him and Manchester City have already done that. I expect Dortmund to maintain their main feature for many more years too.

One of the things I'm curious about these days is what Milan are going to do in the approaching transfer window. In my opinion, they definitely need to improve their squad quality before next season is underway. This squad was enough for them to be the champions in the Serie A this season. It is true but they will need to bring better players to be more competitive in the Champions League. Milan didn't have a good time in the Champions League this season but they can improve their record if they do so.

Liverpool were seriously favoured for winning the title and most people were confident about seeing them as the champions of this season too. In the end, Liverpool had an incomplete job to do against Real Madrid considering their previous finale against each other a few years ago. Salah burst into tears in the previous finale and he was aiming to have a revenge here. Liverpool played very decently and I was doubting Real Madrid to win the title too. Liverpool were just unlucky about finishing up even one of their goal chances.

I can agree with that actually. Because if Dortmund had really wanted to win the title, they would have prepared themselves in some way to be able to achieve it. For example, they aren't still finding a solution for their defense problem. It is like an open wound for them for a very long time. The last season in the Bundesliga was like a nightmare for them in terms of their defense. They were conceding very simple goals from even unexpected teams. They lost so many points just because of that. We will see if they will take an action focused on this problem this summer.

The rivalry between Real Madrid and Barcelona in this season was very interesting. When Barcelona had Ronald Koeman, they were struggling a lot because of his system mostly. This was a big opportunity for Real Madrid to win an El Clasico in Camp Nou and they didn't turn it down by winning 2-1. However Barcelona's revenge was really hard.    Thanks to Xavi, they started to play completely different and way stronger than before. As a result, they destroyed Real Madrid in Santiago Bernabeu as well by 4-0. It was a shocking result to me frankly. I believe the rivalry will continue to get fiercer by next season.

I know one thing and it is that none of the finalist teams have a very big superiority to the other one. These teams both have had an incredible season so far and this was one of the best finals I imagined too. I'm happy to see them here as a result. As for the team I'm favouring, I can say that it is Celtics now. I like Warriors too normally but in this case I feel myself closer to Celtics. I believe in them to make it to the championship after a tough run.

After losing Erling Haaland to Manchester City, I will be wondering what Dortmund are going to do. They will need to fill his place with a similar player not to lose a huge strength but it isn't going to be easy. They scouted a player like Haaland before of course but we will see if they will be able to find a striker like him again. They have Moukoko in the squad though but he is still very young now. If Dortmund can't fill Haaland's place strongly, they can have a more difficult season next time.

Neymar to Newcastle? I see the probability for it as low now. I mean that they need to promise him to bring some other top players too with whom Neymar can have a good relationship in the team. I don't know if they can promise this to Neymar. I assume that he would like to play beside Messi and I can't even imagine Messi to join Newcastle this summer.    There are still many good players who they can sign this summer and I will be looking forward to seeing their attempts in the near future. With this much big budget, the expectation level is going to be very high from them.

Celtics finally managed to eliminate Heat by the seventh game. But it wasn't easy for them certainly. While there were around three minutes left to the end, the game started to be more interesting. Marcus Smart wasted some chances and Heat punished their opponent after that. That three pointer was very important for Heat to stay in the game too. However they still couldn't make it and Celtics secured the 100-96 win. I appreciate Heat's performance a lot too during the whole series. They both deserved to advance.

Real Madrid might not be this comfortable next season. This was a very comfortable season in the La Liga for them because none of the other big teams had a decent season. In fact Barcelona started to become almost the best team in the league thanks to Xavi but it wasn't still enough for them to keep up with Real Madrid as the gap was too big. However next season, Barcelona would definitely fight harder than this and Real Madrid would have a hard time reaching the title. I'm not sure about Atletico Madrid and Sevilla.

The first half of this final match was really boring to me but thankfully the second half was more exciting. But this was still not even close to the tempo of their previous final match in this tournament. We were able to watch only one goal which Real Madrid scored. They scored the goal even though Liverpool were maintaining the game under control of themselves. They were desperate against that goal came by a counter-attack. Real Madrid proved once more how helpful being a very experienced team here is. Real Madrid reached their eight championship which is a great achievement.

Ali Koç'tan Aziz Yıldırım savunmasını görünce de değişik duygular içine girdim. Her ne kadar bu iki kişilik zamanında başkanlık için yarışmış olsa da Ali Koç'un bu davranışı örnek bir hareket bence.

Lewandowski and Depay are no match of course. Lewandowski has been one of the best strikers in football history. Therefore it isn't too hard to understand why Bayern Munich aren't very willing to let him go now. Because he can still be very useful and even continue be the top scorer in the Bundesliga. But I'm afraid they are very likely to lose him this summer as it seems. Barcelona seem to be the closest team to sign him now as far as I can see. Chelsea are rumoured to make an effort for him too but Barcelona could still be one step ahead.

I think that I'm going to favour Liverpool to win the title tonight. I'm very excited already now as I believe that we are going to watch an unforgettable match. Real Madrid and Liverpool are both very productive teams. None of them is playing boringly because they are both attacking teams rather than defensive ones. I expect to see at least three goals in this match first of all. I see Liverpool one step ahead in this match. Real Madrid had a huge difficulty against Manchester City and I expect them to have even a bigger difficulty against Liverpool.
