281  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is why Bitcoin is rising so fast... on: May 25, 2014, 04:16:17 PM
Better sell now. Just told you so...
282  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predict the price of Bitcoin on 1 April 2015 - win CGB's on: May 22, 2014, 01:46:32 PM
94$

Btw. I won't short, but I'll buy more if it goes that low.
283  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: April 04, 2014, 12:14:48 PM

So miners are all retarded? I dont think so

Most are.. because they buy mining hardware that won't ever reach ROI...
284  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: April 03, 2014, 01:48:04 PM
I hope no one sold. I still provide hodl escrow if needed.

Yeah, hodl like retards.
Sold @ 895 Euros...
Bought allready back my BTC amount (+50%) and have some fiat profits ready to buy more cheap coins.

HODLING is for weak hands. We are in a downtrend, you should have sold at the first top or at the deadcat bounce.. you all had enough time to profit bigtime. But buying @ top, hodling a few months and then panic sell is better?  Grin

That's gambling. You don't know for certain. Next time you'll lose.

No, that's not gambling. That's PROFIT taking. Don't sell everything incase some morons pump the price.
Bitcoin is the best free money generator! Lot's of idiots selling low and buying high.

286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Gridseed GC3355 -Hybrid Scrypt/SHA256 ASIC on: April 03, 2014, 10:18:23 AM
That's just your opinion, not everyone mines to sell for BTC. Maybe some people like to mine different Scrypt coins.
But yes for some people it's better to buy low and sell high.

But I rather buy a miner that I know will have some resell value left when I'm done mining, than try to out smart the market.
Remember that the ASICMiner USB miners still sell on eBay.

Because you can allways find some idiot...
With 10% Difficulty increase, you get approx 20$ worth of coins with 1 gridseed miner @ 350KH/s.

After that 120 days, mining won't be profitable.
Paying 200$ for such a miner is just a waste of money.
You could buy 10x the amount of any Scrypt Coin NOW.

If the price goes up -> you gain 10x more than with a miner. Selling ASICs is most profitable for the sellers.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Gridseed GC3355 -Hybrid Scrypt/SHA256 ASIC on: March 31, 2014, 03:25:54 PM
Why do you all bother to buy these miners?
They won't reach ROI ever...

240$ investment per Miner.
330 KH/s

Even with only 2% difficulty increasement (unrealistic, realistic is about 10-15%, calculate allways the worst case), you won't reach ROI.
Better buy the coins instead of giving away free USD/Coins to all hardware sellers.

What if the price of BTC suddenly increases to 1k again? Ever thought of that?

Do you even understand what ROI means?
If the price rises to 1k again.

The one who bought Gridseed Miners gains a few $.
But the one who bought with the same money bitcoins instead of gridseed miners will profit even more.

That's my point. Buying Mining equipment NOW is just plain stupid. The Miners are too expensive compared to difficulty and difficulty increasing rate.
288  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC may never be this cheap again on: March 31, 2014, 03:24:04 PM
The price will fall at least another 150$ till we see the floor.
You can buy now, but be prepared to buy even more when the price falls.

All-in at one moment is never a good idea.

If you were stupid enough to buy above 400$, now it's the time to lower your average bitcoin cost.
If you bought above 1000$ and never sold ->  Roll Eyes
289  Economy / Speculation / Re: You guys are doing it wrong ;) on: March 31, 2014, 11:23:36 AM

It all comes down to what the price will be tomorrow, in a month, year... If you are convinced that it would rise than you should buy. And if you buy it, and it goes down you would be in a even bigger loss, and the lower average cost that you would have isnt worth shit.

If the price falls, you turn from a bagholder to an even bigger bagholder  Grin
Buy @ own risk and only with money you can afford to lose.

If you bought above 400$ and didn't sell anything now, just hold. If you bought @0.1 -100, sell part of your coins and place a few orders.
We well retest the 266$ mark this year for sure. I don't know when, but we have not seen capitulation yet.

+1 yea sell sell sell.. few more working days my fiat will be in one of the exchanges and i will clear some of them hehe..currently shorting my btc.. =)

Nacked short selling?
Otherwise you sell like all the others and hope to buy back cheaper. There is no difference.
292  Economy / Speculation / Re: why does the price keep falling? on: March 23, 2014, 05:46:36 PM
Because there's some guy with an illimitable supply of coins who wants to buy an island.  He's been selling for 563 USD for almost a full day now.  He was selling at 557 for 8 hours the day before.  Effectively he controls the world-wide price of bitcoin.  And he doesn't seem to care how much money he loses.

563$ is a good price if you bought below 1$. It's stupid not to sell now.
More exchanges will close or "freeze" funds, because they had an incident aka insider stealing coins.

Most exchanges are run by thieves. Bitstamp will be one of the next to close the doors. Just don't keep coins there.
293  Economy / Speculation / Re: Vicurex freezing withdrawals. on: March 23, 2014, 05:42:46 PM
"stolen" funds...

Bitcoin exchanges are free money generators.
294  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where do you store most of your btcs? on: February 28, 2014, 03:36:18 PM
Well, looks like we're finally learning.

Don't believe this voting.
The majority voting "in cold storage" have them on an exchange.
295  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 28, 2014, 03:34:03 PM
FUD everywhere.
Let's get your coins out of cold storage and SELL.

296  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 28, 2014, 03:05:04 PM
ccmf now

NOT!

Just check the 4H and 6H charts.
We are still in a serious downtrend, it's not broken.

Sub 500$ this week, low 400$ coins in 2 weeks.
297  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mt. Gox has filed for bankruptcy protection on: February 28, 2014, 12:01:58 PM
Good point TERA, but we didn't see the bottom yet.
You can buy now, the price is ok, but you probably can get two times the bitcoins in a few days with the same fiat.
298  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mt. Gox has filed for bankruptcy protection on: February 28, 2014, 11:39:31 AM
No massive panic in the markets. As I expected, the market has already priced in gox' demise.  Cheesy

Mainstream media didn't pick up the story yet.
More FUD will start within 24 hours.
299  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 28, 2014, 11:32:43 AM
I'd say whoever wants to buy; do it now for there will be no other opportunity for you... and I'm very serious right now.

You told the same @ 1100$ the first time and 1050$ on the dead cat bounce.
Believe this guy and BUY BUY BUY!
300  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did Karpeles and his accomplices steal 850,000 coins? on: February 28, 2014, 11:30:54 AM
One does not simply "LOSE" 850,000 bitcoins!

It's not that hard.
Just write your code very bad -> rounding errors and with enough trades all your BTC are gone (if withdrawn).
