Hi there, I am sticking with this problem which I can't get it out from. I am trying to sign a message to prove the ownership of a given address but when I type in the message and the address and then click on sign I receive a blank text error. I tried it on electurm both windows and linux version, with no luck. Any hint? Thank you in advance.

What a volcano of ideas I would say go ahead with a lite wallet, it would be really nice if users are allowed to utilize the basic functions before the full wallet goes online. Between have you got any idea why the owner_pubkey of my donation does not match the actual public key of the address I sent the donation from? None of the public keys of my 3 different donations match. Does it appear as encrypted in the genesis block?

Weird, I get a random error with no text on electrum when I try to sign a message, any hint?
Well, what are you doing and whats the error message? Are you sure you're not trying to verify a message? I just write the message, put the address and press Sign. The error has no message as well, just a blank one. Tried both on linux and windows.

Another weird thing, when I run the command getpublickey of the address which I donated from I get 3 different public keys, but no one of them fits with the "owner_pubkey" of the donation I made. How's that?

Hey EK are you in touch with Lannister on a daily basis? I tried to reach him through bitmessage with no luck, I found a buyer of my donation. Between did he change the publickey when you bought a donation from a user?
When I contacted him the first time I was waiting for days until the keys were exchanged. Not sure what the problem was, but I am sure he reads this thread here frequently ... at least he is online at the moment. I am sure, now that he knows you try to reach him, it will work out quickly. Btw, sad to hear that you sold your donation and yet congratulations. I just hope you stick around with us It was always a pleasure discussing with you. I made 3 different donations, but I am just selling only one of them! Not leaving sir

Hi there, I am willing to sell 8000XEL for 1 BTC. Currently if you donate 1BTC ( http://www.elastic.pro/donations) you are getting around 5509 XEL, so I am proposing a very good rate. I will prove the ownership of the associated BTC address, and then I will ask the guy who is in charge with the project to change the address in the genesis block. Will use an escrow if requested. XEL ann threada donator sold his stashwhy do you sold below ICO price? what's the deal? I can't sell them otherwise: since the genesis block is fixed, I may only ask Lannister to change the public key of my donation (which happened when the crownfunding started).

I am waiting for a response from Lannister.

If it is a yes, I made a thread if someone is interested to buy 8000XEL for 1 BTC ( reference) I think this should be no problem at all. I have seen that happen multiple times, the only thing that was required was some kind of signed request. What I would love, would be if some lite version of the coin could go online so people can accumulate or move their XEL to different pubkeys. I have no idea how such thing might look like when newly created XEL are still expected Indeed, would be a cool feature. No idea how to implement it tho

Lannister will you change on request the pubkeys of the genesis block in order to allow trading between the donators?

Hey Lannister, out of curiosity: almost all BTCs donated to the donation address are gathered into a single address, but some of them took a different path. I am referring to this , this, this and this. Have these BTCs been split among multiple wallets or have they already been spent for the project? Thank you in advance for your time, cheers

Hello everyone, quick tech question:
Why does this monthly superblock kick my masternodes offline? Nearly every month I've had to reset at least 2-3 of my masternodes after a superblock has gone through. I also notice the masternode count drops significantly at this time also which suggests it's not just me that gets this problem?
Cheers
Walter
For all I know, mine does that too, but I have set a cron job to keep my MN running so they don't fall off the grid. You really need to set this up. I think moocowmoo has instructions somewhere on the forum?! https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/auto-restart-the-masternode.3103/That link is pretty old. This post from August has the best info. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg12254611#msg12254611UdjinM6 started the top commands and moocowmoo added the way to enable and disable easily. Dashwhale also has a restart script and checks if they daemon is on the right block. It will restart and email you if there is a problem. Very informative and useful. Thank you both.
