Have you tried adding:
server=1 listen=1
Into your conf file?
rpcuser=user rpcpassword=rpcpass port=44557 rpcport=44556 rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 daemon=1 listen=1 server=1 addnode=162.243.84.18 addnode=23.249.161.106 addnode=88.151.74.11 addnode=192.227.251.74
Is what I have...

great pool but is it not possible to mine without downloading the app? i am soloing cause i actually don't like to download apps (without sourcefiles..)
Yes you can mine without the app. The app is just a monitoring tool that's optional. To mine you just need to create an account - subscribe to the pool on the FAIL coin pool page then direct your miners and you're away. No need to make workers or anything. Let me know if you get stuck. thank you! i linked my gpu to the pool. and when i am at office l8r tonight i ll also link my other 5 gpus to your pool. kindly FAILNERD Wow, maybe FAIL will succeed after all..... Ok - registered with you and will give it a spin! Still cannot synch wallet though - you must be getting synch to run pool? Can you provide any nodes? Thanks!

Quite agree Mr. B!
I still have 4.7M stuck in there though...
Haven't tried wallet today as away from desktop but hopefully it'll synch!

fail.dogemoon.com stratum down since around 18:45 UK time... No AP's since then and have nearly 5M unconfirmed sitting there!!!

Just as an update:
Simply using:
-I 18 -g 1 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 0 --gpu-fan 100 --no-submit-stale
Returns 435k/hs on each card at GPU0 66C | GPU1 55C
I sometimes feel that messing about with all the 'tweaks' might squeeze 10-15 extra k/hs but causes other issues...
My 2 MSI 7790s have been running for weeks on end at combined average of 500 k/hs for the 2 at 68c/64c

Ok, 'old' thread but...
I have 2 XFX R9 270 cards on one mobo (Asrock ProBTC H61) on powered USB style risers.
Xubuntu 13.10 - cgminer 3.7.2
GPU O runs around 8-12C hotter than GPU 1 and gets sick and dies when using same settings that GPU 1 handles comfortably... I have to set GPU 0 at, for example -I 18 when GPU 1 is on -I 19 etc.
We're talking temps of GPU 1 53C, GPU 0 63C
These are running open (no case) and no significant factors affecting cooling.
These cards were ordered separately from 2 diff suppliers about 2 weeks apart. If GPU 0 (guilty one) can run for 24 hours on -I 18 and cgminer left to sort all other settings does this prove that the card is ok but has some other factor i.e. BIOS version that causes it to run hotter etc?
We're talking difference of 45 - 50 k/hs between settings that it'll run (392k/hs) on against settings that cause it to DIE (445k/hs) (in cgminer). GPU 1 will run at 58-60C at 445 k/hs all day...

This actually looks really good!
Rofl at the post above re the 2 miners image! Just proves that we don't always see what others see when we create graphics!!!
Seriously though, it does look as if a lot of effort gone into this - will be digging deeper.

Good news, FedoraCoin has just been integrated to CoinsManager, free Open-source Portfolio! Enjoy Contributions & Donations appreciated, donors and contributors will be thanked when we'll introduce the gamification elements Looks very interesting but no SSL??!!

Hey guys We've launched a new service called MinePit. It is a client application that allows you to monitor, and remotely control your miners from any web browser, and additionally is a collection of pools that can be mined with or without the software. We've launched with 9 pools to start with and have chosen FAIL coin as one of those. Feel free to have a look and jump in with the mining at https://www.minep.it. Our main thread is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=523986.0Many thanks, MinePit Team Looks interesting - will take a peek!

Guys, you should really stop complaining about the devs and start developing yourself. A community will not flourish with only one dev(satoshi was virtually unheard of for the last 5 years!!), want this to be less than a failure, then do everything you can to pump it! And ppl that are selling at one satoshi, this just pushes people away from wanting to buy because they know that it's going to go the litecoin market, most sale orders are for the lowest cost possible vs bitcoin.
>> Too true I love this Fail Coin! The best part about this coin is there's no pressure. Let's not let it actually fail, though! I'll leave my wallet open whenever I'm on line. Heck, I'll see if I can solomine it...I'll keep it going all by myself!!! Go me!!!
>> Go xerodrag! More nodes required - wallet continues to FAIL! Coins on pool taking forever to confirm. How do we create more nodes? I am not an expert on that side of the tech...
|
|
|
Only ever get 1 or 2 connections to the FAIL network... not enough / poor nodes
I'm running minerd 100% of time in background on i3 on all 4 threads and all other coin wallets sync fine...
|
|
|
Too bad I don't get my confirmation email.
Re C-CEX.COM Likewise - no confirmation email received!!!
|
|
|
What a waste of time... coins down the drain and we seriously expect the 'mainstream' to accept this?
Ok, we are in the 'pioneer' days of crypto-evolution but how many times is this going to happen?
For my part I am trying to keep the faith and patiently hope that Coinex will rise again - naive?
|
|
|
Yet again, wallet not synching (well, extremely patchy)...
With 3.5M awaiting confirms in the pool there is clearly a node (quality) issue

Dude, what's happening with the website etc? The coin's going to die unless there's some real activity going on. What do you mean? The team is now negotiating with Microsoft and soon one MS Office package will cost 150 FAILs. Don't think MS Office is 150 FAIL worth, but OK, MS was always expensive with their crap. Yes, but if M$ Office Home is £219.99 at the M$ Store => 1 FAIL would equal £1.47 therefore 50M FAIL would equal £73,330,000 or around US$120,994,500 I would $H1T my pants... ;}
