281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins unite! on: July 01, 2020, 05:58:40 AM
I realized today that even thought many Altcoins are total shitcoins, all of them have an ambitious dev team behind them that must understand the blockchain business to some extent. Therefore I call on to all the devs of impotent shitcoins to unite for a quest of more utility for their cryptos and stop being shitcoins! Upgrade your blockchains! Switch to a more exciting algorithm. Slice max supply. Add real utility like storage or bandwidth or both! You can do it! Contact me if you want to know more.

You think this devs who create this shitcoins don't already know this? They know what to do to make their project better but since their interest is not about working hard but making real quick money they don't care much about all this things you mentioned, no serious dev will spend time developing a shitcoin only the quick money grabbers will do this.
282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Going Crypto in Nigeria: A Comparative Approach to the Regulation of Digital. on: June 28, 2020, 09:15:52 AM
Quote
As Nigeria moves away from a hands-off or shadow banning approach towards a pro-regulatory approach, two considerations may be foremost in the minds of policy makers. At the outset, as the FinTech Report indicates, the possibility of regulatory overlap is high. The SEC would have an incentive to classify cryptocurrencies as a security, the NDIC as a commodity and the CBN as a currency – in order to ensure that it is the primary regulator. This would only further exacerbate the regulatory uncertainty that already exists in the market. Therefore, in order to avoid regulatory overlap it is critical that any framework be developed in consonance with all three regulators. This would ensure that not just cryptocurrencies but also other elements of the crypto infrastructure – exchanges, assets, coin offerings – are all adequately regulated by the appropriate regulator. The need for widespread consultation is critical, as was highlighted by policy makers to be lacking in the RBI’s actions towards cryptocurrencies in India. Bringing stakeholders into confidence makes for more effective policy. Lastly, given numerous fraudulent schemes that have shaken the trust of ordinary Nigerians in the crypto market, it is imperative to have robust consumer protection measures in any regulatory framework being envisaged. The Nigerian Government may decide to empower existing consumer protection bodies to investigate and prosecute instances of fraud, wilful misrepresentation and other modes of market manipulation. In the alternative, a specialised consumer protection body may be set up that can work in tandem with the CBN, SEC and NDIC to support the integrity of the cryptocurrency market.

Maybe you should read the quoted thoroughly and digest the meaning before you dream of eliminating bank from existence, (on your other thread) you think the CBN will be considering this if banks will be out of the picture? This is just on paper, lets hope it is put into practice some day, and am glad they recognize the amount of scams associated with crypto and are willing to take the appropriate measures to protect the consumers.
283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without banks, is it possible to move physical currencies to Crypto? on: June 28, 2020, 09:03:47 AM
Finally someone who understands my point is here. It means technically Banks can't be defeated Permanently,  because even if physical transaction is to be carried out in exchange for digital asset like Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, you still need a banking note( physical Money).

So we still need to develop more blockchain networks that would completely eliminate the banking sector.

You are right. However, the state will protect the banks that issue fiat. Countries in the world will not let fiat currencies as their country's identity be replaced. If you call this a war, this is the same as fighting the country itself.

After all, why do you only want to get crypto with fiat? If you want to have crypto without going through a bank, you can start accepting crypto as part of the payment for services and sales of your goods (if it is not contrary to the laws in your country). It can also be applied by people all over the world to gradually want to eliminate the role of banks from life. Of course this is not instant but it is effective in reducing dependence on fiat currencies until it is no longer needed.

I have learnt a lot from you today. It is good thing to start accepting payments through cryptocurrencies. There is no financial freedom as far as the USD is used as a tool in international marketing. Cases where just a $100 is worth N39000 in my country.

As long as crypto adoption is here, there is no limit to financial freedom, it is almost more secured than Banking with banks. I wanted offer a service for a client staying in the states, he literally didn't know how to use Bitcoin. I tried to explain to him it actually proved abortive.

Yeah after accepting payment through crypto you will still look for local exchanger to exchange to naira because as far as crypto acceptance is concerned only few merchants online can accept it, buying things from your local stores will require spending bank note (naira) which you can't do away with,
Probably if the naira was not devalued to this point by your government, $100 will equal N100. Between I don't know what is so bad in bank that everyone is against it, crypto is not free too with all the scams involved.

Bank itself is a a scam.

Lol! Look around you, no matter how hard you try to sing the praise of crypto you can't change the fact that it involves the biggest scams ever known but it doesn't stop you from fantasizing about it,
banks have been in existence from generations, I bet the scams that have occurred in crypto within few years of existence can not be compared,
I am sure all your few naira notes are still in your bank account, don't denial it, between eliminating bank is a dream that may never come true so don't get your hopes up.

285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherscan or Ethplorer on: June 28, 2020, 08:27:50 AM
I don't like the interface of the explorer to be honest, I find the etherscan more appealing and user friendly, it serves all the my to get information about my wallet or others and also gives other relative details, so I stick to using etherscan all the time, i sometimes forget that there is explorer as well, not my favourite.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I won't bet on this on: June 28, 2020, 08:22:24 AM
PayPal is planning to implement crypto payment, that's not a bad news at all and we already have DeFi projects making Ethereum bullish this days.. that's two major news that can trigger bullrun soon but..... Don't make a bet on this, nothing might probably happen, actions speaks louder than words, maybe if PayPal actually get this done then, just maybe .......

This case is not new, many organisation and companies have been said to adopt crypto/blockchain as a payment system. Watford United England also did the same with sportbets.io, a casino platform using bitcoin as payment, Facebook wanted to implement Libra stable coin as payment and transaction system but obstructed by US laws, now PayPal is slowly adopting crypto payment system, this implementation may or may not in turn bring in more investors to crypto space because many feel cryptocurrency is still a scam.

It may not bring new investors which is a probability but it will foster more awareness which is most fundamental at this stage of crypto,  there is need for wider awareness to initiate adoption, when people speak of crypto adoption they tend to forget that very few percent of the world population are aware of crypto, so that awareness needs to be increased before any other thing.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: OKAY WHALES and PRICE FIXERS, time to create a price surge!!! on: June 26, 2020, 01:45:22 PM
This is greed, so you expect some people to pump coins for you so you can dump on them? Good move, you should try find a pump and dump group instead of creating this topic on here, mind you your journey might not be what you hoped for, you can get rekt

LOL! Why do you consider him as a greedy person? Who do you think usually pump the previous prices that brought you into crypto! You think the market just goes up on it's own without the push from whales?
I think he is doing the right thing calling out to those whales who are always behind market pump to get to work, we have had enough of bear market, it is time for some bull run. Let's go Wink
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why did dogecoin survive? on: June 26, 2020, 01:36:13 PM
To be honest I don't know why dogecoin is still doing very well up till this very moment, back in those days, I use to collect dogecoin from faucet but never take it serious because I read it doesn't have any real usage attach to it besides having less transaction fee, but it seem it has the support of many crypto enthusiasts which is the reason it has a strong volume, I think traders love dogecoin also.
289  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Read and Learn bounty managers on: June 26, 2020, 01:25:21 PM
I wish other bm's would follow and emulate this attitude, especially many newbies bounty manager don't really do any extensive research on the project they choose to work with, their main aim is to get paid, whatever happens afterwards is really none of their concern, some are ready to throw hunters under the bus to get paid, am glad bubbalex reason this way, it will really help to boost his reputation.

291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why don't we literally send Bitcoin to the moon? on: June 16, 2020, 04:05:04 AM
How many people live in the moon that would see or notice the advert! With the trillions of people here on earth already getting awareness of btc is not enough for you, what good will be the few numbers (if any) up there, and again how many people here on earth watch SpaceX rocket lunch or whatever, well maybe one day you will be the first to lunch it since it is your passion.
292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do I buy cryptocurrency? on: June 16, 2020, 03:52:47 AM
If Binance support United states I will suggest you use it, it is most trusted and you have a chance to buy directly using your card, then look for a more secure desktop wallet or hardware wallet to store your btc, and about the fee, you don't worry much about it since you are buying to hold long term i believe.  Goodluck.

Just found out what that's called. That's what's called a spread fee. Too many fees if you ask me. There shouldn't be any.

Then you are not ready to be here, like it or not this is how they operate,  you can keep digging and looking for where to buy cheap without fees, I just hope you don't fall in the hands of scammers  Grin they will be happy to receive you.
293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another SpaceX scam has reappeared, why is that? on: June 16, 2020, 03:44:56 AM
Honestly I think some people really deserve to be scam (this may sound hash but it is the truth) we have grown past that time when people were extremely naive, now many people do stuff online, read and search for information, people are more enlightened than before, why will someone still allow themselves to be deceive so cheaply, this is 2020 and not 2010.
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some of the benefits of Bitcoin ... on: June 16, 2020, 03:39:55 AM
To me the only benefit is the monetary value because by holding btc you stand a big chance to increase your investment, I have not use btc to pay for any service for a long time, maybe for those who are using it, this is part of their benefit, but holding btc for a much better price is my number one benefit.
295  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Whoever did this will go to hell - Bitcoin scam on: June 16, 2020, 03:34:01 AM
"Jeff Bezos is giving away 5000 BTC"

Yes it sounds silly, but a person started a youtube livestream, added thousands of bots and it was looking legit. I don't have the youtube link, because the channel got banned. Although, there are some people that got fooled by that. Here is the address:
1Amazon1aUWx7kzjzGRGmkEjDLtYZyMzom

In the video Jeff Bezos was talking to his interviews, and there were texts saying "If you send x bitcoins you will get 2x bitcoins"

The guy earnt $20k+ and this has been repeated again by another youtube video ("Elon Musk is giving away 5000 BTC")

Who still believe in this obvious scam! Who ever believe in this deserves it, why will you believe that you can use x btc to get even higher amount when you didn't do nothing to deserve it! If you believe in such is because you are greedy and deserve to be scammed. People want to make money just like that without lifting a finger.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need a reality check, is an ICO right for me to fund a business? on: June 14, 2020, 12:02:08 PM
Ico have already lost the trust of investors long time ago, all the disappointment investors have had to experience in investing in all this project already erased the trust they had, this is why ico's are struggling lately, even you are not helping with your plan either, it seems your token holders will not benefit much from this your plan.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters United we stand on: June 14, 2020, 09:14:25 AM
There is no honor among bounty hunters, we can't all come into same conclusion to make bounty managers and project teams see reasons, I'm sure that many bounty hunters are fine with the pennies they are making, all I can say is to pick bounties according to your taste

You are so right, while some hunters try to fight for fair treatment of hunters others will  act so cowardly and accept  whatever pennies is handed out to them believing that is what they deserve, so in this case, each hunters should choose whatever they feel will be rewarding and if nothing good comes from it, you accept it and move on.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥[BOUNTY] ReferCoins: Easiest Way to Earn BTC [Join Now!]🔥🔥🔥 on: June 14, 2020, 09:01:41 AM
I just realize that a %10 fee is deducted from earnings, the task for social media is not daily so the reward will be small which can be a problem during withdrawal because fees for withdraw will also be deducted, admin do you think you can provide option for eth withdrawal for less fees?
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥[BOUNTY] ReferCoins: Easiest Way to Earn BTC [Join Now!]🔥🔥🔥 on: June 12, 2020, 04:17:28 PM
Is it possible to hold the funds on an escrow for the first week of the campaign so participants will not be afraid  to join?

It's a good campaign however it's a bit suspicious  since you are just starting and you are using brand new account , it really help if you can hired an escrow for this.

If you have gone through our campaigns, you will understand how are we different than others. Participants are not required to perform intense activities for a week (and then we pay) so that they should be afraid of losing their work. Its just 2 shares/retweets per week! Besides, we already ran these campaigns and distributed rewards for a whole month without promoting here. So, you guys don't need to worry about payments at all!

About the start of campaign, it appears campaign already started on 8th but members just have opportunity to apply now, this can affect signature participants to meet required post count.
