421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are having rough days, are you still a HODL? on: March 19, 2020, 01:01:17 PM
Holding seem to be the only thing we can do at the moment, this dip affect every coin, so selling at a very low price is not the solution, today i can see there are more greens in the market, most coin have increase a bit in price, so hopefully we can see the market recover sooner than we expect, all we can do is just keep the faith, and hopefully the whole world will recover from this virus crisis and things will go back to normal.
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to try yourself in trading and investing on the crypto. on: March 19, 2020, 12:55:45 PM
why don't you go and do some serious reading first before you can venture into trading, i will suggest you first of all get the necessary information about trading, if you know any good trader around you, talk to them to put you through, because trading crypto requires good knowledge about the market and since you are a newbie you should have this kind of knowledge before you can start, if not, you will lose money in the process,
have basic knowledge and then go deep if you find it easy.
423  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: IMO (Initial Model Offering) is a scam on: March 18, 2020, 02:03:34 PM
I always new that IMO shit project is a up to no good that should be avoided, many hunters fall victim to their lies, they are definitely a scam project because most of the coins are only on the imo platform and exchange, so they can pump and dump any of the project how they feel like,
they also scam hunters by not telling them the truth from the beginning of the bounty, they claim the lock up was only for investors but turns out they where lying, they luck hunters reward too, they are shady as hell.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins will grow in price faster if the market recovers? on: March 18, 2020, 01:58:20 PM
The fall of the crypto market has stopped. At least some altcoins have not fallen in price for several days and even show weak growth.
Everyone knows that the time of crisis is the best time to buy.
Before the strong fall in the price of Bitcoin, I sold my coins and then managed to buy them back at a much lower price. Now I have money left for additional investments and I am thinking of spending it on bitcoins to average out in case of a fall in the price or better to buy other coins. What kind of altcoins do you think will grow in price faster if the market recovers? I am more interested in your reasoned opinion than the name of a simple coin name.

i see alts like ipx did not experience any fall in price even with this heavy hurricane of dip that has occurred, i was actually a bit surprise by it, ever since the bounty was concluded i have been watching this coin, it rose up to $0.16 and then fall hard to $0.003 - $0.004, this happened befoere the outbreak of virus and the unexpected dip, ever since then the coin has been increasing back slow and steady with current price at $0.09, even when other coins was affected ipx still stay strong,
this is just my personal observation and not an investment tip, you should always do your due diligent.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Leave now or stay until replacement? on: March 18, 2020, 01:41:39 PM
what do you think can replace crypto? we are not just talking about the monetary value like someone already pointed out, the technology is the focal point for most, using blockchain to provide service to the entire world in a more simpler manner is what most companies are going after, while there are some who are more focus in the financial aspect, the average users like you and i Wink so people have different reason to be in crypto,
but as per this current situation it will eventually disappear and things will be fine once again.
426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did this guy just find the founder of Bitcoin? on: March 18, 2020, 01:23:15 PM
i don't think he found anything this is probably same old stuff with people trying so hard to be the one to unravel the mistry of satoshi nakomoto, you should know people are just trying to do things to draw attention, since nobody has been able to find him/they, i don't think that possibility still exist except maybe one day satoshi decided to come out of hiding on his/her/their own, i know some people will never give up digging Undecided
427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a 'two-phased' product, which makes it ponzi/pyramid-like on: March 17, 2020, 01:03:20 PM
OP. You can call Bitcoin whatever you want. Bitcoin couldn't care less. You sound like a guy who missed the oportunity to buy early and is butthurt ever since. No one here will take you and your anti Bitcoin rantings serious. You can stop it now.

If he miss the chance to buy early, now is another opportunity to accumulate only he is too busy looking for a way to fight the Machine Cheesy and for him to be able to survive this fight he needs lots and lots of energy drink Wink
@OP dear, nobody gives a shit about your opinion on btc, am sure when you see a ponzi scheme you will recognize it a mile away, my advice to you, don't go down this part, you will get exhausted Undecided with wrinkled face and heavy migraine Grin
Have fun!
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Itīs not about IF but WHEN - don't panic on: March 17, 2020, 12:53:31 PM
Guys, how many times BTC faces a lot of problems, and thereīs always people saying: BTC is scam, BTC will reach zero, BTC is over, BTC is dead?

And every single time BTC rise and stay relevant

So itīs just a question of time, if you have money, buy BTC and wait, just wait
If you have BTC enough, just hold

We have been through MANY situations like this.
Why would that be the last?
So itīs just a question of TIME, soon or later we'll see green candles everywhere

And there are many who will continue saying the end of btc has come or btc is dead and all other similar shit they love saying, but time and again btc always raise to the occasion and shut them all up, it is definitely not a question of IF but WHEN btc will recover, this is nothing permanent but only temporary, i have been in crypto long enough to know that this is another dip that will pass in no time, people should not worry too much.
429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 60% Wiped Out - Will Bitcoin Have a Hard Time Finding Investors After This? on: March 17, 2020, 12:42:17 PM
Same way people can't give a valid answer when btc rise in price is the same reason why no one can give a valid answer to your question, i guess the only valid thing to do at this moment is to wait and watch, this dump has been attributed to various reason but nobody can say for certain what is the cause, so asking this same question all the time won't help anyone, the dump has already happen, what is left now is wait for recovery, btc will definitely recover.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 [BOUNTY] Dropil - Smart cryptocurrency investing [BOUNTYHIVE] 🔥🔥🔥 on: March 16, 2020, 02:43:53 PM
and why are they conducting a bounty campaign when they still have unresolved cases Undecided
431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Doomed ? on: March 16, 2020, 02:29:54 PM
i don't think so, people are being too exaggerating this situation, @op where you not aware of 2018 dump? did btc go to doom? that dump from 20k to 3500k is worse than this in my opinion and btc was able to recover even not up to 20k but above 10k, so rest your mind and hold your btc if you have any, no need to panic although it is very frightening and confusing but the best option is not to panic, just wait for market to recover.
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Edward Snowden is bullish, BTFD on: March 16, 2020, 02:17:26 PM
lot of people loss huge money at this unexpected dump, so don't expect people like that to be bullish or just come up with fresh money to buy the dip, it takes a real strong heart to do so, because in your mind you will be afraid not to loss money again,
anyone buying from the dip now have probably sold at $9k or didn't hold nay btc at all,if you are either of the two, you will be very eager to buy more, but if you are among those who witness a huge dump in your portfolio, buying won't be an option you would consider at this time.
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Corona Virus Created by BTC Whales on: March 16, 2020, 02:07:29 PM
If this where to be the case, don't you think somehow the news would have been spread, the world is suffering from this epidemic and you think this is as a result of some whales wanting to buy btc at cheap price, what about the economic loss that the whole world is experiencing right now? do you think the amount to buy cheap btc by the whales is close to what has been lost during this crises?
schools, offices, shopping centers, football clubs...... etc shot down, travel ban on some countries and you think all this is done just to buy cheap btc? that is the weirdest theory about corona virus i have heard so far Undecided
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] COVID-19 Hits Ethereum Community Conference, Six People Test Positive on: March 15, 2020, 09:01:51 AM
Don't tell me this people are not aware of this difficult situation that the world is passing through right now that they still went ahead to host a conference in the midst of this virus affecting many people in different countries,
I see it as total negligence of this epidemic and now they get themselves infected by the virus, why deliberately adding to the already increasing number of affected people!
Don't they listen to news? This is really absurd.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How NOT To Get Scammed on: March 15, 2020, 08:54:29 AM
I was introduced into the cryptocurrency space with HYIPS, I thought the industry was a get rich quick scheme and devoted my time and resources in HYIPs. I lost everything I earned along the line and was depressed. I've come to realise that greed is the most prevalent reason for people getting scammed in this space. Most people believe that the industry would make the rich quickly, but have been disappointed, just like me.

And people like that would blame it on btc instead of recognizing their mistakes and learn from it, we all have our different experiences in crypto, how we got into it can be different but most of us have grown to understand it and learn from our past mistakes,
I have lost money too on hyips although not everything I owned but some good amount that would have yielded good results if I had invested through the right way and right project.
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is fake shit on: March 15, 2020, 08:48:40 AM
It always surprises how btc haters will come on the forum and talk trash after they have lost money, they will not come to the forum before they invest and seek advice from experience forum members or do their due diligence on the crypto market and understand that the market is very volatile, which means anything can happen at anytime,
If you lose your investment because of your own ignorance don't blame it on btc, blame yourself, you are old enough to make your own decisions.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More Damages to Crypto Market on: March 14, 2020, 05:58:14 PM
But I won't lose hope just yet, lots of hard work is been put in place to curb this endemic so let's hope before then there will be solution to this unfortunate issue, between btc sometimes has it's own way of doing things, don't be surprise the market will just recover on its own when the time comes, btc have done the opposite of what people predict before,  I won't be surprise to see it do the unexpected.
438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will it be a good idea to gift bitcoin? on: March 14, 2020, 05:43:41 PM
Like was already stated above, the recipient should at list have little knowledge about btc before gifting because you never know what their reaction might be,
Someone with no knowledge of btc will find it odd when receiving such gift, they will wonder what kind of gift is that, they wouldn't know what to do with it, except they are willing to learn, the idea is great but it boils down to the recipient.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is fake shit on: March 12, 2020, 02:03:35 PM
The scamming will continue for as long as there will be naive newbies who believe that they can invest in "good project", and it seems there's still plenty of such people. Nowadays most people know about the dangers of shitcoins, ICO scams, pump and dump and so on, but somehow they believe that they posses the skills to avoid it. and this is where they are wrong. My advice is just stick to Bitcoin, it can't be manipulated in the long run and it's the least risky coin in this whole market.

i don't think the OP was referring to any particular coin but the whole crypto space and the manipulation going on in it, clearly the message was about exchanges and how they blatantly manipulate price, judging from today's market situation, i think we are going to see more people like OP confirming their believe that crypto is highly manipulated, at the moment, it is impossible to say the reason fro this huge dump, many people attribute it to the virus, but truth is that!
as it is now, both btc and shitcoin are all affected.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do when price is dump?? on: March 12, 2020, 01:53:33 PM
The basic solution in times as this for traders is to Hold their/your capital in fiat or stable coin then wait patiently, then you get into the trade after there has been few more rekts or tokens has reached the bottom.

What do you think? Is it a smart move at this time?

The smartest thing to do at this time is to hold your money in stable coin or fiat i.e if you are able to detect that the market will go low and sell to usdt or any stable coin to buy back below, otherwise, just hold and wait for market to recover, it is often said that you only loss when you sell, if you don't sell you haven't loss anything,
for me convert to stable coin is best option because it will give me the opportunity to quickly buy back, imagine bnb and many other good coin price is very low and affordable now.
