1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not panic. Everything will get better on: September 02, 2022, 05:09:14 PM
1. Be patient, don't panic.
2. Buy and hold.

The first attitude is very suitable to be applied and very many traders experience tremendous panic when they see the market price drop, especially Bitcoin is now at $18k.

It's becoming increasingly apparent that other coins are very influential on Bitcoin. So, the opportunity to buy to increase the volume of Bitcoin can be done again for long-term investments. The current market situation in my opinion is a very tough test to be applied by those who are impatient.

Do not panic. Everything will get better.
Right, for those that have been in the market for some time should understand this and sees it as an opportunity to buy and hold but we know people even after seeing the market circle for some times still have shaky minds when market goes down but I agree, buy and hold and dont panic is the best thing to do.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin season ending in may ? on: April 10, 2021, 12:22:59 PM
I think this year will continue to be a bull market,Various altcoins will grow rapidly at the same time.
The current market conditions are becoming more and more mature, and the investment of various large institutions will make the virtual currency go further and further.
Even if not through the whole of the year but I believe we are still going to be seeing this current Bull trend till towards the end of 2021 say fourth quarter. True, a lot of different Institutional monies have been invested into crypto and also big celebs too are now in crypto and I believe this is what is change the nature of the market that probably would have been in bear already.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Dogecoin reach 1$ soon? on: April 09, 2021, 10:13:17 AM
with the total supply of Dogecoin, I am sure it will be difficult for the price of Dogecoin to increase by $1, moreover Dogecoin was made just to joke, so in my opinion it is not feasible for the price of Dogecoin to increase by $1 and I personally don't believe that the price of Dogecoin will increase by $1 in the future.
Now that is where I still have a problem where one thing does not work for some coins but seems to work for others. I also know that Dogecoin might not be compare to a coin like Ethereum but when it comes to the issue of supply and the amount a coin can get to, I believe this should no longer be an issue for other coins if it is isn't for Ethereum but I believe that is related to adoption too.

I have posted this pics some where else but feels it still fits in this conversation hence, Ethereum has an Infinite supply, No end in sight and yet it can go up as much as $100k as some are saying so why not Dogecoin? I am not a fan or an Investor in Dogecoin but when I hear things like this, it confuses me.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum to 100k? on: April 09, 2021, 09:58:16 AM
Ethereum to $100k is not possible if the demand keep on increasing yearly. But we don't know when it will happen because in a volatile market of bitcoin we can't have a perfect prediction.
I use to hear hear in cryptocurrency space how investors compare a coins total supply tom its price, that is how a coins total supply can positively or negatively affect the price and how they think that coin cannot get to a certain price based on their total supply.

If this is the case, now Ethereum with an Infinite supply is been targeted to get to $100k, does this means things like total coin supply in relation to price does not apply to Eth cos I know even Bitcoin go through Halving every four years.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH and BSC on: April 08, 2021, 10:11:12 AM
BSC apart from having the advantage of a low gas cost network, BSC also has a good trading volume, supported by a large binance exchange, indicating that currently BSC is one of the choices for crypto lovers. but even so ethereum also remains an idol for crypto lovers

No question that Ethereum is still good for investment regardless of their gas fee problem but we most admit that contributed to BNBs gains but nonetheless, the BSChain has and still doing many good things, Gas fee continues to lower even as the price Increases

You can read the tweet here

lots of projects continue to list or migrate to BSC making it even more popular and creating a wide adoption. Some exchanges only offer either spot and some only Futures trade and Binance offer both and there are many more features to exploit on Binance Chain.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Efforts of holding wasted on: April 07, 2021, 07:14:13 AM
You’re not alone mate, I have been holding a lot of souvenirs useless coins too from 2017 to 2019 but I have already moved on a waste of money and time indeed. Well, learn from the past for sure most of us are wiser these days and will not gamble anymore in half baked projects.
You are right about that even though most of the dumps in my wallet are mostly from bounties and airdrops then as a newbie, I hunted for those quite a bit  Grin and yeah, they are just sitting there without a market and nothing to do with them so now like you said, we are wiser and even if I have to engage in bounties, I make a wiser choice now.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt season NOw on: April 06, 2021, 09:09:07 AM
A lot of people just follow the hype on the coins they see pumping up. but most of them only followed for a while and when they entered some were trapped by the correction that occurred.
My advice in the season like now is not that good following the hype going on in the market. it would be better to just focus on altcoins in the top market. it can save us from the correction trap.
and most importantly do not panic easily because the current altcoins season I am sure will still last quite a long time.

You snooz you lose, hope you understand that, this is the alts season in essence everyone would like to have a piece of the pie, you don't want to miss out on this season and find yourself in th bear season without taking advantage of the this season while you still be part of it,
The only thing you should'nt be part of is chase pump and dump, invest in great project and watch this alt season do wonders with your investment, only invest in potential project.
Agreed and maybe some people are waiting for some particular projects to start movement before they start to invest that is why they are still thinking that the Alts season has not started yet while many others have taken well enough profits on investments in Alts since last year 2020.

Imo it is not altcoin season yet, but if it is altcoin season it will not last too long. Maybe only one month or two, and after that we wil see anothe btc bullrun again. Untill end of year. Then we will see the peak of altcoin season. I hope i am right on this.
So what are we going to call all this Alts that have been doing 50% to 100% increase on investments? or may be you are also saying that once it is Alts season, It is compulsory that every single ALts will pump? if that is not the case, IMO we are already in Alts season and corrections will continue to happen.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Strong kyc reason on: March 28, 2021, 03:02:31 PM
Bank needs KYC because they are mandated to do so in complying with the rules and regulations. KYC is neede of course for them to verify those individuals that are possible into illegal transactions and that they will be held responsible if they will not cooperate by the authority and that their business will going to close. So, in order for them to get out of trouble if one of their clients are doing illegal under their instution then they can be safe by presenting data in regard to that client. However, the banks uses KYC at their advantage and instead of keeping details they can use it in illegal matters and that is why we need to be careful in doing KYC.
How do you open a Bank account with out presenting your documents? If I understand Bank account opening process a bit then I know you have to present Docs before your accounts will be opened and this is also to protect the banks and accounts gats to do with finance and that KYC serves as a form of protection for especially the banks cos once you know your Docs are attached to your account there is less likely possibility that you will do illegal transaction via your bank account.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it so hard to make one Good coin? on: March 28, 2021, 03:34:51 AM
Is that so hard? So difficult?
Like cmon paying for 15$ value 30$ just to transfer

AT the moment XRP is number one. Its fast amd its cheap.

But really is that so difficult to make just one coin that works?  The coin what is cheap and fast.

Or is the crypto only for tjose who got a lot money to Move so They dont care.

But seriously this fees are insane Now!!

And plz Can someone do the working stable coin.
Wich has just one working chain not that I have to Think If its erc20 or tron or what ever...

Can You guys create the one good working stable coin cheap to transfer and fast and easy to use

Is that all too much to ask?
even if that was made, what you are asking for "one good working stable coin cheap to transfer and fast and easy to use" we will still be having this conversation in the near future when some other Investor will not be satisfy even with that. I wanted to do a transfer some time ago and using ERC20 was going to cost me $20+ and the used the TRC20 instead which I was luck the both exchange had the two and that cost me $1 for the same transaction and I must say it was fast too. I don't expect to do all this transactions for free so that in my opinion was cheap even though we could also argue it could have been cheaper than $1 but when compare to what i would have paid, it is cheap.
So you see, you cant get all that you want but you should use the best amongst the available and move on.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Where the correction ? on: March 27, 2021, 02:51:13 PM
I think from now on we will not huge corrections in Bitcoin as institutional money started to come in. This means Bitcoin's value will stabilize around some sort of fair value which I believe will be around 30000 dollars in near future. But of cource Bitcoin's bears will pull it further down to levels around even 15000-20000 for sure. So invest low, play low is my strategy now.

it is only your provisional prediction because you haven't felt it.  Every price increase experienced by Bitcoin and other Crypto is always experiencing a correction.  Especially at this time what we are experiencing is an increase in prices at the highest level.  At some point in the future there will be a decline due to the latest BTC levels.  Price correction is needed in order to maintain the authenticity of the supply and demand prices in the market.
With regards to what the poster predicted about Bitcoins BTC price pull back, I came across this site some time ago and I am monitoring the BTC price to see if it is following the pattern and what the likely price will be in case of a price pull back which is expected in some time.

Even if the price was to pull back by 10-91-2022, you can see that the likely price would be around the $15k+ he said.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Our boss and employer are money on: March 27, 2021, 02:24:07 PM
I understand what you really want to say, yes money is everything and there are so many things that money can give to you but I just want to point out about making money boss of yours, you should not consider it as a boss because it will control you. You should be the one who controls the money. We work hard to earn money and to buy things we want and to sustain our daily lives but it is not all about money, there are still so many things that can make you happy and fulfill your life.
True, there are many people that are still not happy even with the money they have. We have hard about and seen real life people with money and no happiness. True we need money to fulfill some or most of our daily needs but that don't mean money should be your boss because we need it to fulfill those needs and why do they say, Money cant buy you Love and Happiness? Money is not the Boss cos I might work to get money, I will also make that money work for me since I am in control.  Wink
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Bangladesh militants use Bitcoins for laundering money to Kashmir on: March 10, 2021, 11:31:13 AM
People and the Government will say what ever they want about Bitcoin and how they now believe that Bitcoin is now responsible for the negative vises they are having in their country. Also the Nigeria Government have said that Bitcoin is used to launder money in the country but also have not been able to point to one proof of such transaction. This is not saying it is not possible but we know money laundering has been in existence even before bitcoin so, if this unscrupulous people now realize this is easier than money, of cause they will exploit it but we didn't say let us cancel fiat when it was used for the same purpose.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance as the third largest coin on: March 09, 2021, 04:32:38 AM
As long as bitcoin continues its high dominance, nothing can beat bitcoin, it will remain in the top. Bitcoin has an anonymous creator, and that's the purpose of bitcoin which is to bring anonymity and the brand of our market is bitcoin, without bitcoin crypto would not be popular.
Bitcoin will not give anonymity, the creator is anonymous but that is a completely different story altogether and it started the market but what does it do in the context for other coins. BNB rallied and you should thank ETH for that as the delay in transaction has forced some developers to move to BSC and that helped them gain momentum.
Some thing has to give for another to take. The demand for a service cannot wait for no one, in every day life, if a supplier fails to supply, then attention is given to another supplier. I guess the Binance chain team should actually thank the Ethereum network for their short fail with regards to this high gas fee which lead to this movement and also, Binance have their own issue too cos i have seen traders complain about their Futures market hanging when there is huge market upside movement leading to monies lost which could also affect that side of the exchange. Some ones lost will always be someones gain.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Insane Gas Fees on: March 06, 2021, 03:53:41 AM
I plan to transfer DEGO tokens to my wallet, and see how much it will cost me for fees alone. This is driving me crazy  Sad

That is crazy. Just 2 days I was trying to send 215 USDT from one of my exchange wallet to another exchange and the ERC20 withdrawal fee was 17USDT though luckily both the two exchange also have the option for TRC20 wallet address and I chooses that for the same transaction for a 1USDT fee. Look at the difference. This same issue have not allowed me transfer same usdt to another exchange I also wanted to use but that didn't have the TRC20 just ERC20 and i ended up not doing that transaction cos that ones fee was 20USDT.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi Network on: March 04, 2021, 04:14:13 AM
many people download their apps with great hopes. But for me it is nothing more than a garbage project. Someone is adding money to their money while someone's phone batteries and processors are garbage. I am of the opinion that it should definitely be avoided.
Actually PI app has no harmed on batteries and processors contrary to what you are saying Pi coins are only mined by tapping the mine button on the app and a timer not actually using a cpu since its only a timer no POW like bitcoin, eth I know this since I have app on my old phone and mining since 2019, Im not sure what will happen in the next 1-2 years on Picoin but who knows this will have a value just like btc right? The team did not launched any fund raising or ICO instead to fund the development of Piapp they monetize the app with ads which is not bad for me instead of an ICO where investors have to invest millions of money then list on exchanges for Pump n Dump and after 5-6 months dumped and team runaway this happened on most ICO last 2017-2018, right?

So IMHO there's nothing wrong trying to install this app and mine you can also turn off ads if you want you are not forced to run ads it all depends on you. Remember Doge which only created as a meme coin just for fun and also criticize by many is now top 15 in cmc, I also laugh at NANO before and did not try the free NANO from only doing Capcha faucets but look top 87 in cmc, think about it goodluck to early adopters, peace to haters lol.  Grin

Thanks for the bit more detailed explanation I couldn't have explained it better  Smiley because I have it in my phone as well since 2020 though and I have never experience any problem with my phone with regards to the app and since you don't really invest any thing per say like cash in it, of cause why not try it out and see what happens down the line and like you mentioned, look at some that have done it and people thought it was a waste of time but that don't mean this might turn out same but just saying.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge profit but how to withdraw on: March 03, 2021, 04:07:17 AM
Hi

If i say i am from anti crypto country means withdrwals and deposits prohibited.

If i get a huge profit of 1million usdt. So how can i withdraw it, shall i move to crypto friendly country and withdraw or any solutions ?
How did you get into buying crypto in the first place? I believe if you can answer that then may be your problem is solved. Look, You most have gotten you investment cash into the crypto ecosystem to trade through some means and what ever that means is, that is how you can also withdraw them but if it was that the case of the ban happened after you have started trading and that you can no longer acces your trade or is it like in Nigeria where it is just the bank that where instructed not partake in crypto trading accounts, then you can resolve to P2P trading but if it is a total Ban on crypto, then I guess you have to find a way to access your funds may be in another country  Grin
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: March 02, 2021, 03:45:21 AM
For @OP, I am also one of the holders from Centra, which I bought when the price was low. but it turns out that this project ran into problems and ended up in a scam. the price was past 2 $ and I still hold now it's just trash. I don't think there are many projects in 2017 that are still visible. even average if now we can see on CoinMarketCap. they are low volume and also the price has decreased by almost 80%
Most of us from back then 2017/18 made that mistake, I was part of the people too that had centra back then but was lucky to sell mine off before the whole problem they eventually got. Still have some dust in my Binance wallet now  Grin Grin Grin

I don't do that any more, HODLing just cos people are screaming HODL and it could be that they have even sold off theirs. No matter what it is, even Bitcoin, once the price is high and I see a downward movement, I sell off and buy back when it has reverse.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will replace oil and Gold on: March 02, 2021, 03:32:14 AM
No, Bitcoin will not replace oil and gold, even though we know that gold is no more flexible than Bitcoin. Currently the existence of Bitcoin is very small when compared to some resource businesses in the world. We can't force the will we like to be able to rule the world easily, it takes a long process, maybe even requires evolution first in Bitcoin to be able to completely replace oil and gold.

The scale of gold and oil production currently leaves Bitcoin because these natural resources are better known for a long time and ordinary people understand more about the resources that are mined by digging the ground. In addition, real results and also a large turnover have made big companies compete to get more natural resources with increasingly complex equipment.

https://medium.com/currency-waves/bitcoins-energy-consumption-7c14f53dd059

The electricity used by bitcoin miners is only 0.1% when compared to the electricity used by some natural resource miners.

I totally agree with you. I really don't think some people get it, just because we all like Bitcoin and we all are looking for financial freedom don't mean some Hundreds of years well established resources have to die off just to make a point. I don't understand why people will be saying Bitcion will replace Banks, Money Gold and the likes, these are resources that have actual human use, we are not going to mint bitcoin as a replacement for our gold rings, earrings and the likes or generate the power for your homes or fuel for everything that uses fuel. This shouldn't be about replacement but coexistence.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you trade? on: March 02, 2021, 03:07:49 AM
I am not trading regularly, but I tried to buy low and sell high. But I can not always get a good time to buy low as I miss that chance many times, but I still try it. So far, I can take profit in small money, and I still use it for trading.

I feel you, I have that same kind of situation too most times.

I woke up to see that BNB was already at the highest point so I decided not to buy in and wait for the price to reset. Now it just has to be a waiting game cos I am not much of a trader cos if I was, I still would have been able to make profits from this down trend if i was trading Derivatives.

The other way to maximize the bitcoin advantage will be to lend your bitcoin at the exchanges or join in the Binance Earn because even if the reward is small, you can get free satoshi by using that way.

Binance Earn is also a good way to earn some cryptos. I have used it before but I will take my assets when I see a good opportunity to make a better gains from Vault which I use mostly cos I don't want to lock any thing up any stake for a period when I could have made money from them, so I use vault most of the time.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat and cryptocurrency on: February 28, 2021, 03:47:57 AM
We have all realized that traditional banking systems are obsolete and that governments print money causing more problems than solutions.
This is how bitcoin convinced it to be the best asset to invest in.
I remain optimistic innovation will come soon now that our world is more digital.

Traditional banks are obsolete? I bet you did your transactions in getting into crypto trading from the Bank and I want to also believe up till now you are still using this same traditional banking system and that you have not 100% have all your assets in crypto. Look we are all for cryptocurrency and i just hope some day they would have been able to work side by side and not one trying to kill the other even though we think some big institutions are getting into crypto, I strongly believe it is because they have come to see the PROFITS they too stand to make from it and besides, lets not believe that the Governments will just allow that to happen.
