Yes especially if they are not getting the necessary exposure and or maybe they for some reason did not host any bounty campaign at the beginning of the project, i saw a campaign of populous few months back this forum and i ask myself the same question and i just concluded that maybe they want to ignite some hype in the project to keep the momentum going, who knows.

To tell you the truth, it is not easy to know which bounty will turn out to be good or scam, yeah, don't get me wrong about the DYOR stuff and all other things some members posted above because i feel sometimes they are not a enough criteria to determine if the bounty will be good or not, so i usually conclude it to luck, because sometimes after doing all your little investigations project still end up becoming a scam and your effort go to waste.
So i guess you need both DYOR + Luck

Btc can't not be the only crypto in the world, alts will find their way surely even though it look a bit difficult at the moment, there are some good alts out there that really working hard to make a difference in the crypto space but only a matter of time, after all btc has been in existence for the past 10yrs and none of the alts are that old, alts time will come that i believe, i don't get frustrated.

Not just bounty unfortunately, crypto in general are unpredictable otherwise all crypto Analyst will get it right in their predictions but since that has not been possible then bounty too is not any different, all you can do is accept what any bounty gives in a particular campaign, sometimes you get good reward and other times it is the opposite.

i actually agree with you, bounty with fixed allocation have a limit to number of participants which means your effort will actually get good reward at the end, but in the case where bounty is base on stakes, there is no limit to participants and rest assured that the high rank members will have the larger stakes at the end some participants will end up with very little reward, fixed allocation seems more better.

Before i was against the mods taking such harsh decision but after seeing how some members got their accounts ban and yobit did absolutely nothing to address the situation makes me have a rethink, if they can't follow due process then there is no point allowing the campaign to continue,

Yeah, i got to know the important of stable coin few months back, didn't understand the role they play in a highly volatile crypto market until last year, in the midst of all that bear market crash stable coins are your safe heaven if you don't want to cash out in fiat of-course, i think it is very important to have stable coin to aid crypto experience.

you are not far from the truth because some of the highly rated project by this sites ended up to be a huge scam which means either the ico rating site fail to do their job properly or where bought over to make good - fake rating, this rating sites are doing more harm than good when they do stuff like this because many will fall victim because of this bad act.

if i could remember, that campaign was strictly for higher ranks and it was expected that high rank members won't spam the forum but some how that was not the case, and again i don't know how you think someone can make 20 post a day without been consider as spamming the forum,

the truth is, most people where against it because any high rank member could join, it wasn't restricted to some selected few, if the mod wanted that campaign to go on they should have just restrict anybody caught spamming and allow the non spammers to continue, well that is in the past now,

you can always try your luck with one of the btc paid campaign in the forum if you think you are a good poster am sure you won't have problem getting selected, because venting your frustration here won't bring back the campaign nor will it reduce the number of spammers or shit posters.

Or they want to stable the price of tem for some time, you do realize that having crypto pairs will result to high price fluctuation, the team already they will lnclude btc and eth pairs soon, but i do like the usd pair because price looks stable.

why you don't consider conducting an IEO to raise funds as soon as possible? ico seem to be a thing of the past, most ico project are not able to raise up to softcap let alone hardcap, do you have any backup plan should the project not able to meet expectations of target amount during the ico period?

Good heavens! already in top 50 at current price this really something to talk about, i mean most project since 2017 are still struggling to get on their feet, but in Tem case, just knocking walls down and aiming high in just few days of trading, i will definitely hodl what little Tem i will be getting from bounty, Tem is not here to play

Read before you comment, Tem did not host any ico or ieo because they were privately funded and have enough funds to develop project according to roadmap, you should take a look at CoinAll and see how much Tem is trading on usd pairs,
No speculations or hype only market determines the worth of Tem, keep an eye on tem because this is just the beginning, and you should try and read the white paper

This only happens when you are hodling an alts/coin that is very active in project development but in the case where you are hodling a shit coin and there is an opportunity to sell and regain part or all of your investment, better do so otherwise you ended up hodling bags of worthless shit coins.
