The guys over at Darkcoin are currently having a money party, I applaud them for reaching #4. But what they do not know is we are fueling up our rocket and preparing to launch. They are getting very comfortable, but we are hungry and we want their spot! Can you smell that $43 million market cap??? I can, and if it tastes the way it smells it is going to be delicious!!! Other communities think they are our competition and they are wrong. We have already won but unfortunately for them they do not know it yet. A lot of people mistakenly think what I post is just propaganda to get the community excited. I challenge the skeptics to go ask the MintCoin community if what I write is just propaganda. I remember when the MintCoin community thought they were competition for another coin I once represented, and that didn't work out too well for them. Well history is about to repeat itself once again because we are about to steamroll our way to the top, and all other communities who are comfortable are about to see what happens when a community is hungry for the top spot. We are not interested in friendly competition, our mission is to liberate other coins from the top spot and make sure we remain there! Last week Libertycoin was trading at 800 sat, and today XLB is trading over 5000 sat! That is a 525% gain in one week while we were still an unknown coin. What do you think is going to happen when we announce to the world Libertycoin is here to stay?

When I said we will get to the top 10 in 60 days I meant it. We do not need to use a now defunct service to get us there. I am working on a plan that will set Libertycoin apart from rest. I believe in transparency and I will share some ideas as time goes on. However, since we have people copying our ideas I wont reveal anything publicly until needed.
BTW: Darkcoin is doing very well but it will die eventually unless they change the name. Darkcoin sounds way to ominous and reminds me of something "evil". It will be hard to convince merchants to accept "Darkcoin". We have a brand that we can build on, and now we just need to build an infrastructure and community around it. Week after week we will be giving the world something new!

Um...did you guys overlook the most important part of why Liberty Reserve is no longer around "The site had over one million users when it was shut down by the United States government. Prosecutors argued that due to lax security, alleged criminal activity largely went undetected, which ultimately led to them seizing the service."
We definitely do not want to be associated with a service that was shutdown by the United States government.

I think that the name is so strong it can survive any changes to logo etc.
One small thought ... I've seen people write both "Libertycoin" and "LibertyCoin"
It may not matter at all, but should the "C" be capitalized on the logo and the website? Would it look better?
After all, the name itself will become a brand, like a well known auction site with a capital "B" in it's name.
I personally think it should be Libertycoin like Bitcoin. |

 Here is a sleeker more modern version. We definitely need something that is modern and also unique from the rest of the other coins. I really like it however I feel that the line work on some areas of the coin (inner rings) are too bold and give the logo a cartoonish look slightly. Anyone else feel the same? Other than that it's great, a really strong face for our coin. Thank you for your comments. We all come from different backgrounds and regions of the world. Everyone will have their own opinion on what looks good..etc..etc. It will be impossible to find the perfect "balance" and please everyone. One person might not like the font, another person might not like the color, another person might not like the hand...etc..etc. I tried to incorporate the ideas of the community and at the same time come up with something that will look great on almost anything. Everything we do from this point has to be 100x better than the other coins... Don't get me wrong it looks awesome and I love the concept. As heartastack said refinements can be made later on, it still blows 99.9% of altcoin logos out of the water For now we have more pressing matters at hand. This project is shaping up very nicely! Good job with the logo IE Thanks... Believe it or not the logo is the most important element of a "brand". I focused on the logo first because it is the first thing people will see when being introduced to LibertyCoin for the first time. You know the old saying about first impressions. Now that is out the way I can get back to working on the marketing plan, and it will be better than anything that has been done in crypto before. Each week we have to keep doing something new to be relevant. We cannot get comfortable, comfortable kills coins. Each week we will do new and creative things to keep getting the word out about LibertyCoin. |
