281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Blocknet] truly decentralized exchange | token ecosystem infrastructure on: October 03, 2019, 05:16:36 PM
Loving the progress we've seen with the project already.

I'd advice anyone who reads this, and holds BLOCK, to join the BLOCK Discord chat and engage with the rest of the community Smiley Been quite dead there, but it seems (to my surprise) that the devs is spending more time there, ready to answer questions etc. Which I really love!  Grin
they understand the community takes precedence, i think many people feel the same because the development is done well. they can consistently make this project more advanced

Agreed, if just the community itself would actually help the team with marketing, sharing the project around, and actually try to stay relatively active on public channels like Discord, slack or telegram, I'm sure it would help the project itself rise from the ashes again.

BLOCK below $1 is a steal right now, you know it, I know it Wink
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Thoughts On Blocknet? How high can it likely go? on: October 03, 2019, 05:13:36 PM
Seems like an interesting project, I need to do a bit more research on.
There's a lot of competition among altcoins right now, but the fact that these guys have stayed in business since 2014, is a good sign.

Thanks for sharing man.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Shill Me Your Altcoins on: October 03, 2019, 01:20:53 PM
Look into XSN - Stakenet. Probably the most promising project versus marketcap I've seen in a long long time.

Stakenet is building a network on Lightning. Masternodes will be the backbone of it all, and will act as service providers for everyone who uses these dApps.
Most exciting dApps coming is the Stakenet Lightning DEX, and the Stakenet Multi Currency Wallet.

Below is a list of the current jobs, these masternodes will run soon:

* Lightning Dex
* One click instant Lightning Swaps (NOT Atomic Swaps)
* DEX Aggregator
* Masternode escrow services
* Masternode based oracles/arbitration
* CCPoS - Staking rewards in any other coins
* Tor, PrivateSend, random hop secrets
* Masternode's collateral backed stable coin
* Lightning dApps
* TPoS - Hosting of Trustless Cold staking contracts
* Voting Delegates
* Automated payment of node operators
* Masternode Managers
* Multiple keys for Masternodes
* Enhancements for Smart Contracts and dApps
* Masternode reward split
* Masternodes Quorums Autonomous Swaps
* Cross-Chain dApp infrastructure
* Watchtower services
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stakenet VS Komodo. Atomic Swaps / Lightning Swaps DEX on: October 03, 2019, 12:58:54 PM
KmD is not lightning network based right? Just atomic swaps? I am at a bit of loss understanding why they went this route instead of lightning network like XSN?

Correct. Atomic swaps is used on all DEX solutions this far (unless we're talking about a fake DEX)

Lightning is instant, Atomic Swaps is not.

Are both techs incompatible?

Well, there is a huge difference between the projects. Stakenet's Multi Currency Wallet, will have the DEX itself integrated into it, this means you'll have everything in the same place, making it extremely convenient, and user friendly.
You'll be able to store/send/recieve, and trade all once. Pretty cool when the Multicurrency Lightning Wallet get's released as a mobile app as well, which makes it possible to trade on the go.

Beats Komodo by a long shot, but Stakenet is yet to release their DEX, and Komodo already has one running, so there's that. Smiley
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you could invest in a project with it's own hardware device, WOULD YOU? on: October 03, 2019, 12:50:46 PM
XSN has a hardware device? Definitely going to look more into this.

Not yet, but one is being developed, and will be out there eventually, which is pretty exciting Smiley

287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which crypto-currency for investment/trading? on: October 02, 2019, 05:44:14 PM
Safe investment is BTC and ETH, perhaps XRP as well. You wont make any HUGE gains by holding them short term (Like 6 months - 1 year), huge gains like 10x, or maybe even 100x is made investing in low marketcap coins, with real functional products.

Take a look at Blocknet, been in active development since 2014 (So you know they are legit). First project to make a true functional DEX, currently undergoing tons of UI fixes, that will make it even better.
The current trend right now is: KYC, Corrupt Exchanges, Exchange Hacks, Phising, etc..

By investing in a project that builds the literal future - Decentralized trading, I'd say you're putting your money in the right place. Blocknet and it's service nodes running the whole thing will have so much more to offer, but as always, I'd advice you to do your own research Smiley
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XSN] Stakenet - The World's First Trustless Proof of Stake Coin on: October 01, 2019, 06:09:20 PM
Wow, things Speed up. Price goes now North since that very dump dump on Monday.
I guess these Guys are delivering some tasty things soon. Cheesy

Yeah, haha. That was an insane dump, but to no surprise the price recovered VERY quickly again.. Extremely DUMB move by whoever it was, hahah.  Grin
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you could invest in a project with it's own hardware device, WOULD YOU? on: October 01, 2019, 06:06:06 PM
I always consider before deciding to invest in any project. Whether the project is sponsored by any company does not mean it will succeed. In case if Ledger tossed their coin I would consider investing and maybe buying some. As for the other project's coins, I probably won't participate because I don't know anything about those companies.

Which is fully understandable. Agree with you, but hey.. If you did some actual research on the project perhaps you would find out, it actually IS worth your time? Wink
Haha, but on a serious note. I'm quite excited to see what kind of software the dev team builds, as there isn't much info on it just yet.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet - XSN - The Next 50x Altcoin Out There? on: October 01, 2019, 06:02:07 PM
Impressive about XSN being the third people to implement LN, and even more interesting if they were the ones actually helping Litecoin to do it (I knew this as an LTC hodler but first time I heard about the assistance from XSN).

I think the reason there's not more hype to it is simply it's now POW. Masternodes and all that just have a hard time getting support from POW miners and hodlers I think.

True, hardcore whales doesn't really support POS. I believe it's gonna change once ETH moves from POW to POS though. There is probably going to be a greater shift to POS by then.

The cool thing is that XSN enhances BTC and LTC holders with their upcoming dApps, makes it easier and more convenient to trade your assets on the go.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stakenet VS Komodo. Atomic Swaps / Lightning Swaps DEX on: October 01, 2019, 05:57:54 PM
Dig into the Whitepaper  Cool
They use a tokenization Process for non lightning Coins.

Cool, sounds like a workable solution. Guess I'm gonna read the white paper as well to understand the bigger picture here.

Thanks Mike.  Grin
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Altcoin for 100-1000x returns by late 2020? on: September 30, 2019, 01:23:57 PM
100x - 1000x returns is pretty crazy, and wont be seen by any top coins out there for sure. You need to dig down the ranks, and find the true gems out there. I'm personally a big fan of Blocknet since it's a project which has been in development for the past 5 years already. They code everything from scratch, and was the first project to launch a TRUE DEX.
Binance isn't even running a DEX, it's just a marketing gimmick to make people stay on the platform.

Blocknet is insanely undervalued, since it recently dipped down below $1.

100X is definitely possible, due to the low supply and low marketcap right now. Do your own research, read the white paper. Wink
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The crypto hell: the exchangers manipulation. on: September 30, 2019, 01:09:54 PM
Have you considered the alternatives out there? You can trade on decentralized exchanges, eliminating the central part of all of it. Blocknet does the job, it's really easy to use once you get the hang of it.
Download the wallet's you need to store your coins in, in this example you want to trade BTC for BLOCK, so open and unlock your BLOCK wallet, and BTC wallet.

Open the DEX, and trade whatever you want, without ever needing to move your coins outside your own control (centralized exchanges).

294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A True Cryptocurrency must start with the fundamentals on: September 30, 2019, 12:58:20 PM
of all the listed suggestions I most confess having a solid use-case is the most important feature in a project. It beats me hollow when I see projects with zero or no use-case propagating in the crypto space. No use case equals to know the demand and this further implies no value. Hence its pivotal for a project to have a good usecase in order to ensure value.

Couldn't possibly agree with you more. There are tons of useless projects out there with 0 use cases at all. They simply steal code from other projects, and claim it as their own under some kind of disguise, some don't hide it at all.
One of the few projects I know who's been working their asses off is Blocknet. These guys made the first DEX, coded everything from scratch, yet it seems like nobody cares? I don't get it.
Look at TRON, just as an example. Did an ICO with empty promises, recieved millions in funding, pumped like crazy, and dumped back down again, yet it's STILL a top 20 coin, based on what? NOTHING.

As an investor it's really hard to know which projects is worth your time, and which aren't. Blocknet is pretty solid though, among other old projects who had the time to develop their own products.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: May Altcoin have chance to rally even if Bitcoin dominance is below 70%? on: September 30, 2019, 12:50:54 PM
The market moves in cycles, everyone should know that by now.

High BTC dominance => Diversify in ALT's
Low BTC dominance => Go all in BTC.

Right now, the majority of the trading volume you see is wash trading. Even the bigger projects out there, is wash traded a LOT. Most investors is waiting for a confirmation of a market turn, which leaves the left of us alone.

A project like BlockNet isn't wash traded, but when you look at it as an investor, you'd be instantly turned off by the trading volume - When in reality, it's a great project with on-going development still.
Eventually the market is going to turn around, and those who bought low (now), will be rewarded hugely for doing so.

BTC is not a bad hold, it's the safest hold by far, but if you want to make the big money, you gotta consider the risk/reward scenario you're sitting in. Wink
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How many crypto exchanges are really required? on: September 30, 2019, 12:40:44 PM
We don't even need any exchanges at all. FIAT on-ramps sure, because it makes it easy to move money into the crypto market.

All these centralized exchanges are toxic for the crypto sphere as it puts a lot of people at risk. We've seen so many exchanges exit-scamming, getting hacked, delisting assets left and right.

There is no doubt in my mind that decentralized exchanges will take over at some point, once the crypto community get's tired of all of this. Blocknet's DEX solution works excellent, and was the first working DEX on the market. Once the crypto community matures, and realizes how important security is, I'm sure more and more people will trade this way.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Blocknet - Established In 2014. First DEX on the market. Price predictions? on: September 28, 2019, 11:00:10 PM
See this sheet outline some projections:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1nr6HaQ2JJDP5qU4rMW2hQQGQjxit6wzOgKzoeurwPSQ/edit#gid=1074847926

- Nodes require 5000 block putting but pressure on the market
- Nodes earn 100% of the rewards for their services
- Nodes can charge their own fees and set their own prices
- Turn a node into a business by providing services
- Services nodes can monetize include:
--- the only true DEX (non-custodial, no accounts/kyc, all native assets and no proxy tokens, decentralized order books/matching/settlement)
--- oracle data (provide developers with external off-chain data or even on-chain data )
--- blockchain interoperability (decentralized blockchain router to communicate between different public and private blockchains)
--- microservices (enable developers to interact with any existing api or make your own new service)

Thanks for posting all this, wasn't aware of all of this Smiley

Oracle data reminds of Chainlink, can you tell me more about this in detail? I'd love to know more as I guess I didn't pay attention to this part upon researching this project.

This is my personal opinion, and do not take it as your investment guide. Always do your own research,

Blocknet might be one of the oldest Masternode projects in this space just like Dash, PIVX, Bitsend and else, but it does not mean it has more potential compared to the newly Masternode project. Let's talk about Bitsend, did you see how bad Bitsend is right now? it happened because the project lack of demand and growth, and look at Blocknet.
from demand of view, its total buy orders from various exchanges are 10BTC and its total volume in 24 H just around $3000. That means the demand is very low, and look at their development. Do you see any significant change or development happened with them? I do not see it. From this alone, I can tell you the risk of holding it is higher compared to the others and the return of holding it is lower compared to holding (let's say) ETH. You might lose it all once the final bear appears.

if you are asking me, what to do? then I will say, find something that is fresh and have a good concept. Like Masternode based on SIM Card or anti-sim swap project, because it is going to be lively. Since Verizon has made their move

There are so many new scam coins out there, in fact, most masternode projects serves NO purpose, there is basically no use case at all - Only incentive to invest in them is to reap the benefits of block rewards. I agree that volume is low, but Blocknet is FAR from the only coin who suffers from low volume in this bear market. Most big projects are wash traded like crazy, OKEx being one of the worst exchanges to do so.

Source: https://www.thedailychain.com/report-suggests-that-wash-trading-is-down-by-35/

Blocknet is still in active development, they've got a working product (DEX), their new wallet is beautiful and functional. Investing in any altcoin right now is a huge risk - Blocknet is not going anywhere though, if they wanted to "exit-scam" or give up, they would have done so long ago.

Ethereum is a safe hold, since it's a top 10 coin. I'm holding BTC, ETH, and a few small cap projects I believe will do well, this one caught my attention after doing a lot of research, hence why I made this thread.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet - XSN - The Next 50x Altcoin Out There? on: September 27, 2019, 10:16:01 PM
I’m curious about if they would integrate Trezor or Ledger into.
I mean. Trading on that Dex directly from Trezor or Ledger would also be a very cool deal.
More Secure wouldn’t be possible i think.  Grin
Ledger Nano and Trezor hardware wallet XSN support 100%
You can see the progress of the development of Stakenet on their road map. https://stakenet.io/roadmap/ this project is very well managed. I think I need to invest here.

Not a bad idea, at the current price levels, it's ridiculously low in price. I own 2 masternodes in the project, and with the current price levels, I might get another one Smiley

Really looking forward to the multi currency wallet, it looks sick!
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stakenet VS Komodo. Atomic Swaps / Lightning Swaps DEX on: September 27, 2019, 10:11:22 PM
Is it known what kind of pairs would be available at Launch?

Nice to hear about that progress.
Cant wait for the first reviews on that.

Not entirely sure yet, but I believe to start off we'll have the following coins supported:

BTC
LTC
XSN

USDT will hopefully be added as well (and other stable coins perhaps). Groestlcoin is also a project that has caught interest, as they are on lightning too.

Will ERC20 tokens be supported assets as well? I'd love that since I'm a pretty big holder of Chainlink among other tokens. Smiley
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Blocknet - Established In 2014. First DEX on the market. Price predictions? on: September 27, 2019, 09:45:47 PM
Seeing Blocknet dip below $1 (with a previous high at $55) tempts me to finally get a masternode in this coin.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm a HUGE fan of masternodes, and hate myself every single day for not investing in a DASH node back in the days when it was affordable. At the current price range I could buy a node for less than $5k, which isn't too bad considering that it's one of the oldest projects around.

Massive upside potential, as it's a project still in development, and overall it just appeals way more to me than all these new ICO shit tokens with no products to show, no history or developments, just empty promises.

The whole Altcoin market has declined to a level where investors can get in at incredibly low prices.

What do you guys think? I'm eyeing a lot of projects, not talking about going all in at all, just believe this project has massive potential!
