I wouldn't be so optimistic. Something in the range between $10 and $20 would be more realistic at the end of September. However, by the end of 2018 it can easily be as high as $100 IMHO.

It sucks that the distribution will be held according to an ETH block from July 7... I got some ETH only in August. But oh well, not every day is Christmas

The 8 Mb blocks of Bitcoin Cash seem to be very useful. Nodoby is using it, so there are basically no transactions and the block size is typically below 100 kb And it will probably never be used since you can't pay with it anywhere... it's simlpy a useless speculative asset which will slowly die over time. Bitcoin finally has some technological improvement, which Bitcoin Cash doesn't. It's just copy-paste + change 1 number in the code.

From telegram
Guy @ Bancor
There are lots of speculative comments here, which is understandable. The rumors of security reviews, etc are false. There is simply a lot of work to do.
The Summer since the TGE has been very busy laying the foundations for the protocols long-term success. We've decided to work quitely on a number of fronts as we scale up the infrastructure of the team globaly.
Progress on legal reviews and regulatory frameworks takes a bit of time, especially in the Summer months. This is a non trivial international effort, and we're spending a lot of resources and time on it. We expect a very busy September full of many public developments.
In regards to messaging, we hear you. From the website to our public relations, we are rebooting everyhting to fit a post TGE period and reflect the more effective ways we've learned to communicate the innovation behind Bancor to a wider audience. We'll share more about the many exciting projects preparing to launch smart tokens with Bancor's protocol, shortly via our blog.
It's good news, I really hope there are going to be "many public developments" in September I understand that there is a lot of work to be done, but at least some good news regarding the development would be much appreciated. Anyways, for now we can be at least happy about the KICKICO partnership

It's showing nice potential in my opinion. I would get some airdrop if I could. Don't miss the opportunity people.
I'm definitely not missing it It is one of the best airdrops I've seen here, so it would be shame not to take part. The community is growing rapidly, the dev is very active and everything seems to go very well with this coin so I'm happy I could join... and everybody who can should join as well

Don't get me wrong again or whatever but I really find the ditribution model wrong! Thats why is going so easy down, because of dumpers
On the contrary, the distribution model is very good. Combining the airdrop with signature campaign provides a lot of positive advertising for DeepOnion and is continuously creating a big and strong community of supporters. Doing it this way was a very clever move from the dev(s) and it's already clear that it was a brilliant idea. Regarding the price, there are always some weak hands and cheaters at the beginning, but that should be soon over. The strong community and continuous development is the most important thing right now, don't care about the price much at this poit.

The price increase is nice, but I think it's nothing compared to what is coming later this year. If you look at the Litecoin's roadmap for 2017 ( https://litecoincore.org/), there should be many important development news which should drive the Litecoin's price much further. I'm not saying it will reach $1000, but something between $200 - $300 might be realistic IMHO.

There's no crypto crash going on. It's just a typical weekend dump, abusing the fact that people can't send fiat money to exchanges and some investors don't pay much attentian as during working days. It happened many times before. Dump a bit, trigger stop loss orders, make a bit of sell-panic -> buy cheaper
|
|
|
This campaing is one of the best in promotion. A lot of people from the cryptocommunity know about it and take part in this project and in the the discussion of it!
You're right. The idea of combining the 40-week airdrop with signature campaign was a great idea. Thanks to this, DeepOnion is now well know probably to everybody on BitcoinTalk forum and the community around t is pretty big and growing. With such big community support, I believe DeepOnion can be very successful.

I am newbie here. I just bought some Onions on Nova, then the price fall down I cannot apply DeepOnion Airdrop application form because I am newbie, signatures taller than 42px will be cut off on my rank. Onion price is very low today. Some members are dumping because of thoughtless acts. There will regret tomorrow. I believe it will go up to 5$ soon. My guess would be that many of the people who were banned just dumped their coins. The 90% HODL rule does not apply to them anymore since they will not receive more coins anyways, so it's quite natural to just sell everything for at least a bit of profit and move on. Fortunately, if this is the case, the pressure to put the price down should be much lower in the future and we should see some nice increase
|
|
|
Regarding the banned accounts issue, it would probably help if the rules were a bit more concrete / elaborate as some things are pretty vague and unclear. For example: What is considered burst posting? All posts in 1 hour? 2 hours? Or within 1 day? Who is considered to be a one-liner? The requirement of 50 characters is within 1 line... so? If the posts should be longer, shouldn't be the char count increased back to 100 characters?
Anyways, apart from that, the whole DeepOnion project seems to be very promising and I'm fully supporting it.

|
|
Hm, maybe the checking bot triggers some false "BAN button" when there are some other transactions than airdrop in the wallet? It might get confused... I personally would use another receiving address for anything else than airdrop, so it wouldn't get mixed and messed up.

I think deeponion has a chance of good success, only few real competitors that I see is Zcash and Zencash. Monero and byteball are quite traceable there are 30% tractability possibility that devs of Monero confirmed themselves. zk-snarks are untracable as of yet, will see with Deep onion, but idea and team are good so should go quite high as a coin.
I think deeponion coin will be success by strength of community That's right, there seems to be a very big community forming around DeepOnion, probably mostly thanks to the well-done airdrop mixed with signature campaign over 40 weeks. And coins with such big community support tend to be much more successful. Also the native TOR integration gives it added value, so I'm also positive about it.

I read something like "Bitcoin reached all-time-high!" at least once a week on average. Of course it did, it's just going up Maybe it would be easier to publish some news on a day when Bitcoin doesn't reach ATH

the ico.info website announce that it will stop ico to cooperate with the goverment regulation, which cause great panic, but then CEO appears to say that the regulation doesnt exit, what the fuck
I think many people will lose money in the ICO scams. Yes, many people will probably loose a lot of money on ICOs. And even on those which are not ment to be a scam... many people are just starting big ICOs like crazy, but they don't have enough know-how and experience to manage / handle such big projects. Many of them will thus fail despite good intentions and the investors will loose their money.

Right now everything is very unclear since situation in crypto changes from one day to another all the time. For now, however, I would say that Bitcoin seems to be the most stable cryptocurrency and probably will be the leader for quite some time. But of course, everything can change within few months... nobody can say how the situation will look like in 2025

I would stick to "Quazarcoin", or if not, switch to some brand new (related) name... for example "Pulsar(coin)", "Red Dwarf (coin)" or something like that Options like "Quazarcoin Classic" (one of the options in the poll) would be more appropriate for the Minergate's chain, although we know they will not change the name of "their" Quazarcoin

Almost all coins mentioned so far are not that cheap at all. If you want cheap coins go to coinmarketcap and investigate potential of those ranked 100 and below in market capitalization. There are many interesting coins/project which are just starting, so they have almost no value yet and are super cheap, but have good potential for the future.

Is a really good opportunity with this airdrop, so si possible in long term can be remember it as the best airdrop ever. the future looks brilliant for DeepOnion.
In 10 years DeepOnion will be the new bitcoin, or maybe at least is little brother I am actually proud to be part of this adventure ! Unfortunately, I don't think that DeepOnion will be the next Bitcoin, since Bitcoin is shortly before making the step to the masses. And despite of the advantages, Deeponion will never do that step. The majority of the people has a negative attitude against everything in connection with TOR. Darknet...Criminals... That is, what most people are thinking. And even that could be changed. At least there are the governments who, for sure, would go with the Bitcoin or other coins, where they can comprehend transactions. So let us say, Deeponion is going to be the next Monero. Thats quite more realistic (; Bitcoin was also the "money of criminals" a few years ago and look at it now. Privacy/anonymity oriented cryptocurrencies like Monero and DeepOnion are considered to be the "money of criminals" now, but they can also become widely used as soon as people realize that protecting their privacy while paying for stuff is really important.

Guys do you know Piplcoin?Any comments?Just another shitcoin? Just another scam token. It's not even a coin. People need to stay away from such scamming projects that are just made to collect others money. Agree with you, iam wondering why this person called me and wanted me to invest in this scam.. They probably just choose random people and ask everybody to invest in their "token". Then they take the money and you never hear back from them There's a lot of scams all over cryptos, so you must be really careful where you put your money. In crypto, you can earn a lot but also loose everything instantly.
