That error doesn't have anything to do with how you're using Counterparty; it's a problem with pycoin.
Try changing the version of pycoin required (in reqs.txt) to 0.25 and then rebuilding from source again.
Yeah, apologies. I had updated the pycoin dep version on develop, but not master branch. Phantom got it updated on master...so we should be good. A question: my antivirus is blocking access to/warning about the blockscan site. This only began to occur in the last few days. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Thanks.
From what I see this report is stemming from WOT at https://www.myywot.com/en/scorecard/blockscan.com . There are reports stemming back from 2009?? However, I only registered the domain last year and have only actively used this year. Trying my hands at some logo design to get the juices flowing. My inspiration is the exchange aspect of counterparty, combined with some classic logography/typography (e.g. london underground). Font choice is Gotham Bold.   Second one but with the "party" perhaps on the second line. Having it too long makes it difficult to place the logo in all places cheers |

It does take quite a while for counterpartyd to sync even starting from block 278,000ish. This will eventually become a big problem I think, if not fixed.
A stop gap solution would be to offer a partially updated downloaded able counterparty db. However, with this approach there could be trust issues. |

FYI Web of Trust is reporting this site as Blockscan as having malware on it...
Hi Are there any explanations or specific pages for the report. I am unable to see nor detect any of the reported malware on the site cheers I've taken another looks at this and I am pretty certain that this is false positive due to the .js code inserted by cloudflare (reverse proxy) cheers |

Hi guys, I had some xcp at an address and they showed up on blockscan until recently. Checked blockscan just now and they are gone. Do they still exist at the address or have I lost them for good? If so can anyone explain why they might be gone? Thanks
They are there.. there is a notice on blockscan.com that says they are rebuilding the database. Thanks We are updated with the latest block running version 6 of counterparty db. Cheers |

Ah, there's a bug in the develop branch where counterpartyd isn't checking to make sure that the fee is only charged after the protocol was changed to include it. I'll fix that now.
Please do drop a note once you're done with the commit. I will continue running the develop branch on blockscan if it helps to uncover some of these issues before they make it to the master Cheers See commit 5708257caf0a53c77eb5038a1c999c6fa27ecf38. Just checked the blockscan.com assets, and noticed that my test asset is gone?
Any breaking changes that were done lately?
Do you know the transaction ID, issuing address, or the exact asset name? I upgraded the client to the latest develop branch git and also noticed the reduction in valid assets One of my test asset have also dissapeared. The corresponding validity field has the remark "insufficient funds" which is was not an issue in the master branch. At the moment I am only displaying assets from issuances table with the validity of "valid' Eg: the asset Blockscan |

I wonder if it possible to know the coins distribution, so the whale sale leading to crash (aka what happened to MSC, and apparently NXT) can be detected (and ignored)?
Or due 1 BTC limit, this won't be possible?
You can only know the coins distribution by address. But you would not know if these addresses are owned by the same or different individuals. Similar concept as with all other coins.
