281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XST] Stealth-Coin.com | Tor | StealthSend, World's first anonymous SMS Tx! on: September 02, 2014, 10:08:28 PM
And who really cares if the website designer moves on to another job? He did what he was paid to do and as long as Hondo has the log and pass, he can hire another or make updates himself. Seems to me that website designer is a "for hire" market these days. Just some thoughts.

I just have to clear this up. We have a designer (Pahlke Media) and a web/infrastructure developer (Argakiig). Both are very talented and we are lucky to have either working for our team in any capacity. Our designer is still with us and is deeply involved in day-to-day operations and strategic planning.

Argakiig has a strong interest not in just developing tools, but in cryptocurrencies specifically. For this reason, he has made his own coin (SonicScrewdriver). He used a snapshot of the StealthCoin code base to start his coin, but all coins start from somewhere. His feature set is rapidly diverging from the code base he started with and from what StealthCoin is offering and planning.

So, do we have a replacement lined up for Argakiig? That's like asking "do we have replacement for a dev qualified and talented enough to have their own crypto and make it succeed but willing to focus exclusively on infrastructure?"

What do you think the answer to this question is?

So the answer is not yet. Instead of looking around, we have been pestering him to give us some time and work on some web services, but he is still busy. If we get desperate, we'll try to pull in a new dev, but ideally we will create something synergistic with Argakiig, even if it means some delays in our roadmap.

-- Hondo

What the fuck? First that emmilo guy admits to botting this shit but now the dev is working on " his own" coin.? This is worse than an a Chinese scamcoin. This is a fuck tard scamcoin. Lolz

fuck tard scamcoin: (noun)

Any coin that is worse than a Chinese scamcoin

Glad I dumped out yesterday at 1300. No dev! WTF?

It's a good thing that you dumped!! I heard that the dev is actually a robot from the future and that this whole Stealthcoin thing is a government experiment!  Shocked

There's only one thing to do....DUMP THE COINS!!

Woh, the guys in the thread were convincing me to buy into this coin because it was supposedly a serious coin. Now I'm glad I didn't buy. Delays = critical hit for coins, even worse if there isn't even a concrete answer as to how long the delays might take.  Add to this that the delay is because one of the critical minds behind the coin isn't fully behind it?

I'm glad that you didn't buy either! It's good that you listened to your instincts on this one!  Wink

Well, I guess we won't be seeing you in this thread anymore, since you didn't buy any coins.

Take care

Lol, the FUD began
Dev is from usa and have proof of developer 5 PODs http://cryptoasian.com/xst-stealthcoin/

Maybe you can elaborate on the bot that is selling into the buys with a vengeance? Whose bot is this? Who controls it? Why do you know about it?

lol now i made a chinese bot to pump xst

Really, plain bot-manipulation on both sides? Has it already come this far? Why should someone invest in something shady like this? At least you could have posted that in the irc, not here in the ann for everyone to see.

lol, it's just a joke my friend. Obviously I would not have created a chinese bot lol
I was just feeding the trolls that make me laugh

Jon wasn't the only one that misunderstood you. You almost gave me a heartattack - and I barely survived #TheFappening!
I would never enter a manipulated coin and was about to get out. Thx for your quick response.

Oh it's being manipulated. Look at the orders lol.

What are you talking about? Do you think I should sell some? What kind of manipulation? I can't afford to loose my prescious btc, no way I'm going down with ANY coin!

Ok then...see you later...thanks for stopping by. Wink

Good luck to you!

You're not very helpful.

My bad. I thought you were one of the FUDsters.

I'm not sure where you bought in at or how many you have, but my advice is that you should hold onto your XST for now because there are good things coming. Don't expect to wake up tomorrow and be rich...set realistic expectations and don't put in what you can't afford to lose.

Sometimes prices fall because those that hold a lot of coins want more and have the ability to manipulate the price. That's actually a good sign, because they might know that the price is about to rise and want to accumulate before it does. I guess that's for the speculation thread--ah, too many threads to keep up with.  Roll Eyes

LOL All of the sudden all of these newcomers come into the thread and start spreading FUD while the BTC volume goes up and so does the price.  Grin

It's simple guys, if you don't like XST...don't buy it! Those of us that have been around for a while know what's going on with this coin.  Wink

287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [XST] StealthCoin Speculation Thread - Bittrex, Cryptonine on: September 02, 2014, 12:49:28 AM
I've been noticing the bot trading on Bittrex for a while. I've also been paying attention to the rich list. There's been a lot of fluctuation happening in the top two wallets. The top wallet moved over 17,000 XST the other day and the second top wallet has added more than 94,000 XST in the last couple of days. If I had to guess, I would have said that the top holders are manipulating the price to accumulate more. Even if someone tries to kill this coin, it will be hard to do, unless your the top wallet holder.

damn...we're back in the 900's?  Sad

You guys are selling like there's no tomorrow, it's all your own fault. "w000t? No 100% increase while I was on the potty? DUMP IT!"

No my friend, is a chinese investor of another currency trying destroy this coin since de beginning.
He has been buying and dumping your own currencies for 2 months. I am one of a legion who has fighting with it and bought coins he dumping. But today that his xst is ending, my available btc finished lol.
Sorry for my English.

welcome to the bot land... destroy a good coin, even loosing btc, to make money and attract people to crappy-scam coins... it should be renamed to bottrex...

How did you get this information?

I am so angry with this motherf***ing coins that claim anonymity and offer a complete nothingness. LOOK at the motherf***ing hype they ve got!!! They are ridiculous overvalued while XST is the real deal!!! Hondo must stop for a while programming and promote Stealthcoin to the big whales before another shitcoin which is already hyped copy his hardwork.

F***ing overvalued shitcoins-----> http://www.forexminute.com/bitcoin/bitcoindark-teleport-anonymous-use-41918

We need to look at these other coins that are doing well and see what it is that is helping to propel them forward. Hondo doesn't need to stop programming, we need him to continue to work towards blockchain obfuscation.

I don;t think name calling is the way to go about this. But this coin IS not priority #1 nor #2 for this developer and it hurts the coin as a result. This coin should be looking for other options. I have a feeling this coin is going to sink with Shield and XST. Until then good luck everyone.

Sink with XST? This coin's value is way under XST.

ANd until something is actually DONE and not just talk, it will stay that way.

Ah, ok. I agree with you on that.  Wink

Thanks for the update on Bitkey!

It looks like we should be expecting that by the end of September.

Let's get some other things planned for this coin!
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XST] Stealth-Coin.com | Tor | StealthSend, World's first anonymous SMS Tx! on: August 30, 2014, 03:45:29 PM
Would rather have flat than downward trend anyday.
I suggested and still do that Hondo reach out to jl777 from BitcoinDark to be one of the first coins to join the supernetwork.

Anything from jl777 is hype included BitcoinDark. I see this person have nothing to prove that his works or coding is legit but his 24/7 posting hype. There are about 10 projects under his belt and none is ready. Ask yourself what BitcoinDark have right now? any Anon, TOR, SMS, or even a website, anything? also, I don't believe in this nonsense ethereum speculation that jl777 try to scare everyone into his supernetwork. When these kind of people done with their pump then they will run with the money bag. This kind of get rich quick scam/idea that going to kill cryptocurrency as these people running away millions and millions in their bag, little by little.

+1

It's incredible how high the price has gone for this hype coin. XST has more to offer out of the box and is only worth a fraction of the price.
I would like to create some sort of system that will be trusted by the community to weed through these bullshit coins, so that people can stop getting rich off of selling people promises that will never come. If anyone is interested in helping with this PM me. We need a new era in crypto where upon a coin's release, the devs have to prove themselves beyond fancy websites, diagrams, and overly ambitious ideas that will never come to be. Some sort of  filtering system. It's a shame that so many shitcoins get invested in, when coins that have something of value to offer get overlooked. Those that offer innovation should be rewarded...those that offer nothing but promises of innovation shouldn't be taken serious.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [XST] StealthCoin Speculation Thread - Bittrex, Cryptonine on: August 29, 2014, 06:32:16 PM
I think price will rise to 20k after 3th roadmap point be done.

I agree. I think that the future of this coin relies heavily on blockchain obfuscation.

If the devs can pull that off, along with a good marketing/PR push, there is nowhere for this coin to go but up.

296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XST] Stealth-Coin.com | Tor | StealthSend, World's first anonymous SMS Tx! on: August 29, 2014, 04:35:53 PM
any theories on why the price is so flat?

I was watching the trading yesterday on Bittrex. There were multiple consecutive dumps at 50 and 33 XST, all driving the price down hundreds of satoshis.

Within a few hours, the top wallet had moved over 17,000 XST.

Were those coins dumped to suppress the price?

Only they know.  Cool

There is someone driving the price down with his tiny little sells - maybe because the volume is too low to hold a 2k price. XST will get stronger with every announcement, every dev-post, every release and every tweet (btw there should be way more tweets about this coins unique features) - and when StealthText launches it will be too late to "buy in" at this cheap price.

I think the general consensus for people that are invested in XST is that it's only a matter of time before the value moves up. Unlike a lot of other coins that get pumped sky high on promises, this coin is going to have to prove itself. After seeing how this team operates, I think it will. XST may be the best choice for anonymous transactions, and therefore it will have value. Those that are interested in that will eventually come here.

28 sells of 50 XST a piece. Driving the price down?

This coin will start moving when Bitsta release bitkey feature, can not forget that its currency Rootcoin not  been implemented yet.
Therefore, we must be patient.
Moreover, this thread should have many more answers every day, and take advantage of having the same technology that Rootcoin, at a significantly lower price, it has to reach many people.
Incognito is a very good currency to invest, many potential benefits with little investment risk.
far, we just remains to find out when is ready the features ie Bitkey and so on.

There have been a lot of questions about Bitkey, which no one has answered yet.

Can we get an update regarding Bitkey? I think that this coin has potential without it, but can you let us know if there are still plans to have it implemented in this coin?

Is it even a real thing, or is it just hype from Bista?

Let's strive for transparency here.

Great work Hondo!!!

Over time you will continue to separate yourself from the "hype" developers and show that XST will be the choice for true anonymous transactions.

It's only a matter of time before the crypto community will have to take a serious look at XST and realize that it's ahead of the other coins, in terms of what it can deliver.

It's refreshing to see a dev who isn't all about bells and whistles but about delivering real utility!

Keep up the good work!!!
