281  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: BITCOIN PUMP! on: March 13, 2024, 09:05:27 AM

https://it.cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-6-months-etf-liquidity-crisis-analysis

@wayna
282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: LISTED gambling companies to invest in on: March 12, 2024, 04:53:08 PM
I would add: two Italians bookmaker/virtual casino listed in Borsa Italiana
SNAI and Lottomatica
Of course these are small companies if compared with big names of gambling/casino
however these are both the biggest company in this field in my country. Lottomatica is able to offer (as unique vendor) the SuperEnalotto (local version of powerball)
no one of these company accept crypto in any way Sad
283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Marketing Strategies for New Casinos? on: March 12, 2024, 04:28:46 PM
probably the best marketing activity is given by having a good platform and nice bonus....but I have seen also "competitions" sponsored directly by a bookmaker or casino having an excellent effect. the expense is minimal compared to the visibility and volume of games generated.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [WTS] Bitgesell BGL - 5000 Coins ---> Ok BTC LTC ETH ZEC on: March 12, 2024, 09:55:51 AM
this offer is still available (current price in CMC + 5%). No bridge, no fees, etc etc...
please note that an halving is arriving in upcoming months, now it's the good time to acquire it at a discounted price.

Of course this coin offer a good potential as altcoin. I am still owning a large batch received during the launch/first month of activity.

285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Get one btc right away or 5 btc with a bet? on: March 12, 2024, 09:46:18 AM
It's not always easy to make the right decisions. Are you a gambler? If you're offered 1 btc without playing or 5 btc by playing (with a chance of 2 to 1). What do you do?

I'll take 1 btc without playing since I will eliminate any risks from the bet! Personally I love "sure wins" and I don't want waste or take any un-required risk. This is a great chance... because it's a sure win. Gamblers must be focused on sure win and not on "lucky" matches.
well becassine, if it's the right answer Roll Eyes at this point you can find my btc address on my profile Roll Eyes
(just kidding... )
286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: March 12, 2024, 08:56:29 AM
the Italian player's winning odd was ... @19 !!! practically no one expected such a result.
even worse is betting these events live. It's really difficult to bet against a super favorite like Nole.

Italian tennis is still in great shape. I don't think there have ever been so many players at high levels in the past years.

@aoluain
it was to late Smiley but it was better , because in such case it's really hard to not bet on Djokovic....
287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Still Dead? on: March 11, 2024, 03:56:08 PM
even during its "dark" moments, months away from the glories of ATHs it is difficult to talk about a time when the bitcoin blockchain was in difficulty due to "few transactions" or something related to "less interest".
Values in fiats are another thing and most not taking in count. anyone is talking about "bitcoin is dead" is going to dead etc etc has completely no idea of what is he talking about.
288  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: BITCOIN PUMP! on: March 11, 2024, 02:24:46 PM
[edit - ATH appena superato in euro...66177 ]

289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: March 11, 2024, 12:41:27 PM
...
Currently playing its Rublev v Lehecka and Rublev is in trouble, lost the first set
and broken in the second already.

And Rublev loss the match! Lehecka is a player underrated, but in my opinion he expresses excellent tennis and it is only a matter of time to see his potential emerge.
Sinner confirms himself as a solid player. It's clear that he's not just interested in the number 2 position at this point...
290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It’s unlikely that anyone besides you will be happy with your winnings. on: March 10, 2024, 11:55:10 PM
I completely don't care if someone is happy or sad about my win.
I like to help those who want to make bets but I'm not interested in other people's judgement.
obviously never let "all" of your gaming habits be known. I never talk about gambling with people that doesn't gamble.
291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: March 10, 2024, 09:33:38 PM
Sinner is the strong favourite of the match and probably there are no surprise against Struff. Let's see, match is going to start in matter of minutes.
Meanwhile it's just over Alcaraz again FAA. Easy win for the spaniard player... FAA far away to be a reliable opposite today Sad
292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you prefer betting your own predictions or from prediction site on: March 10, 2024, 09:15:45 PM
I like to make my own predictions and I have made for many years here on the forum.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1234109.0

believe me, it's not easy to have a good winning average. and after many years and less time to dedicate.

However, I find it very interesting to read opinions from good tipsters. taking inspiration from other people bets is always useful.
293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: We need more multiplayer casino games! on: March 10, 2024, 09:07:51 PM

This idea seems that this kind of game is definitely going to be so unfair to all gamblers because it only requires higher rollers to stay in the game until they have defeated the big boss, and even if only higher rollers are the class of gamblers involved in the game, at some point, most of them will exhaust their funds and might want to refile their account, but because they have failed out, they can't re-join the game again, which means they will have to start over. Also, if the game is developed, it will only be high rollers that can engage in the game, while casino owners are looking for even more interesting games that can engage all classes of gamblers, such as high and low rollers.

My idea is that if the game can be designed in two patterns, where higher rollers will have there's and low rollers can also have there's, that might be a bit better.

any games where a high roller has an advantage are usually the least played ones.
I see as a further limit in this kind of game, the lack of the "thrill" (sooner or later you reach the "final boss"...) that characterizes slot machine winnings Roll Eyes
294  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Where to sell Casascius coins? on: March 10, 2024, 10:43:01 AM
one of the best place where you can sell quickly a coin is here on forum
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=217.0
of course it's better you use an escrow as "protection" for the trade and follow suggestion for the best selling thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5277761.0

I have seen some decent trades even in ebay or catawiki (of course the "final result" it depends where you are based, some countries or platform have a lot of traffic)
there are even auction house that can help you by selling your coin like https://stacksbowers.com/
295  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can gambling sites provide proof of auditing that was done on their RTP? on: March 09, 2024, 07:35:04 PM
in Italy our local agency can perform audits and inspections both on their offices (AAMS) both with vendors (like local bookmakers).
all games here have an audit trail (you get a code at start of game). however I don't know if this can really help players or change something in case there are "smart" operatos.
296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake loses $615k bet on Joshua-Ngannou bout on: March 09, 2024, 07:16:28 PM
Drake can loss this amount without any doubt... this practically does not affect his net worth in any way.
and much probably there are also some agreements with stake....

However, I find these "heavy" bets something un-educational/sad to show.
Watching a wealthy person spending so much money that would change a person's life isn't the best to see.
297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does the game of luck in gambling really works? on: March 09, 2024, 07:10:12 PM
there is no such thing as luck but rather mathematics and statistics. at least as far as we know today... In gambling you just need to follow these two pillars. who knows one day if someone will discover that magic really exists. Roll Eyes but of course I would stick meanwhile just to "reality"
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Pattern that 99.9% Leads to Bankruptcy: High Rolling on Slots! on: March 09, 2024, 06:59:25 PM
in this type of game, beyond the amount to bet, it is not possible to influence the progress of the game in any way.
Going to make over-budget bets is too risky, but going for loans with the hope of winning back the principal, is really something that can lead to serious financial problems.
299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does possessing information play an important role in betting ? on: March 09, 2024, 12:48:12 PM
it is obvious that you have a significant advantage having some information.
bookmakers also have much more information than you, this is why they are able to offer their business.
in the past I have been able to win "long term" bets (for example who wins the tournament?) thanks to information received/elaborated (publicly) at the exact moment  Cool
300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I just woke up and saw wins in my gambling app on: March 08, 2024, 07:51:16 PM
if you pretend that gambling become like a job... you must take in account that these required a lot of efforts, fatigue, investment (both money and time) in short it requires a lot of effort like any other job.  if you don't act in this style you will probably lose money. no less no more.
gambling should be just fun. but it's really rare find people that like to gamble only for fun.
