281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin the future of online gambling? on: November 07, 2016, 02:02:57 PM
I think most of the people are buying bitcoins for gambling as its very easy to gamble with bitcoin without disclosing the identity, so even if gambling is illegal in your country you can easily gamble with bitcoins.

Exactly... There are a lot of people buying bitcoins for such things because they dont need to identify themselves for anything being done with bitcoins as it is an anonymous coin and used widely in the world without any restrictions.
Yes it really was most bitcoin users like to gamble online. We can bet with bitcoin we got. If practically bitcoin future of online gambling I suppose it could be. But bitcoin is not just gambling and many other things such as trade, investment, etc.
And if you see the lending section they also take loans for gambling. So, actually gambling is one aspect that bitcoins have made effortlessly easy and comfortable. With the untraceable transactions and yet transparent of bitcoin payment system, we know that whatever we win or loss is private and can not be known to others.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Buying ICONOMI / ICN shares on: November 07, 2016, 01:24:02 PM
I'm buying ~ 20k ICN at 13-14k satoshi each. Pm for more detalis, thanks.
Please note that the usual price right now is around 16k -17k satoshi and I was actually thinking of making a simple exchange site where users can buy and sell ICN tokens because as far as I can see a lot of people are interested in this and some are also getting scammed and then I came to know kraken has reliable services for buying selling ICN tokens.
283  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to sell stuffs online and earn Bitcoin? on: November 07, 2016, 01:13:15 PM
this forum is a great place for buting and selling stuffs too. However, If you want to explore other platforms, those are a great recommendations. Smiley
I also agree with you. While forum allows to buy/sell and appreciates user doing so but the forum does not have in built features like auto buy and such, I mean we yet have to rely on user to be honest though escrow has solved such issues. I think ebay or openbazzar kind of can be good for this ? personally I believe bitcoin market place yet to groom a lot for a better trade.
284  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to be a good bitcoin investor to prevent scammed on: November 07, 2016, 12:55:10 PM
If it's too good to be true then it's definitely a scam. If you doubt investing to it, just invest a very small amount from your portfolio like only 5%.  Don't let your emotions get over with you. Just set a maximum percent from your portfolio to invest so either scam or not, you won't lose all your bitcoin easily.
yes that is right to use a small amount but i think it is not still a god idea, because there are so many people who always like to invest a good amount of bitcoin therefore to me always try to use a trusted exchange whiled exchanging bitcoin.
Not always things that are too good are scam. Let me give you a classic example : suppose someone had told you that invest 10$ now and become a millioner after 2 years will you agree ? NO but actually suppose he has talking in investing with bitcoins !!!!
So, always ask the thing they are investing and see why the reason behind their promises.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which currency is good as bitcoin?? on: November 07, 2016, 09:58:42 AM
In the last few days, the coin is almost as good as bitcoin just appeared. It is the ZCash, it is more expensive.

Yes I agree about this fact, Zcash is doing great these days so I think it also has a good future and that it can become more used and more popular.
Please tell me one reason why you think Zcash has a future ?
I think the price has been constantly going down even as the coin is very new. I think better would be to invest in BURSTcoin since it has innovative HDD mining which I see having a good future. More and more people will use it in future, I am sure.

287  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: November 06, 2016, 07:34:43 PM
Holding is the safest way to make profits in long run, holding can be only risky if price drops in the future but looking at the development of bitcoins I don't think that price will fall so if you don't want to take any risk with your bitcoins by investing them anywhere, its better to hold them and sell when price goes higher.
While it is awesome to hold bitcoins for some years and then sell them with a boom price !
But at the same time, you should consider lending business, if you visit the lending section then you will see that people give 100-125% collateral and take loan so no risk plus free profits. This way you hold bitcoins in a innovative way of making it grow over time.
288  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: where you invest? on: November 06, 2016, 07:24:40 PM
It's also my question that where I can invest?
Since you are new please note the first advice : keep yourself away from HYIP and such sites. Secondly see you are new so won't be having any experience in trading of altcoins. So for you, I suggest to invest in gambling sites like bitdice and moneypot. You will easily earn some nice profits based on your investment amount.
289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: November 06, 2016, 06:54:48 PM

How can you really say that when we are beting low we always win and when we bet high we always lose and how can you say that this is not true? based on my experience i always see this thing there always odds when we gamble but im not talking about dice im talking about the graph in bustabits when im always bet low.

I think gambling would not work like that, even if you bet low or high the output will always be on random, they can not say that if they are just betting low they would always win, No gambling would not work that way because it is a randomness that gambling would work out for people that is why it is really risky, you can never control or even work out a strategy on random gambling although you can use your skill and Analyzing in poker and sports betting.
Though yeah the percentage of winning is same but try it yourself brother and you will see why so many people are saying so.
Do one thing, deposit 0.001 to primedice and see by making 10 bets with 0.000001 and 10 with 0.0001 you will see why people say so. I am not at all saying the house is cheating us, but for some strange reason we loose the bigger bets.
290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Girls also gamble? on: November 06, 2016, 06:22:08 PM
I want to know that girls also gamble?

If yes then it looks like the number of female gamblers is negligible with respect to male gamblers. why?

There are many female gamblers but i think that they are shy to  show that they like gambling so they hide it as much as they can't so we don't know much about their gambling
Yeah, the percentage of female gamblers is low as compared to male. The main reason for such is because you see if boys come to know about gambling he will try it and tel his friends while girls are shy even if they tried it they will never because of the possible insult. While males think its a matter of pride that they gamble.

It is similar to like do male cook food at home ? yeah they do but don't want others to know it. But all of these may differ with culture and traditions across countries.
291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: November 06, 2016, 06:09:04 PM
I've discovered Bitcoin few days ago, but I am skeptical about few things, why would I invest money in Bitcoins at the end of the day,why would I convert money into Bitcoins?

If I want to buy stocks or invest money I can easily invest with real $. Why would I convert my $ to bitcoins?
If I want to gamble , I can simply gamble on websites that require $ as currency, why would I convert it to bitcoins?
What's the difference between Bitcoins and dolars? What does bitcoin bring to the table that real $ don't, less taxes, more income?

The difference is that real money is physical (cash) and bitcoin is virtual, also the real money is virtual but we can withdraw them in cash, the difference I think is who accepts bitcoin and who real money, this is the main difference because the bitcoin holders can't use bitcoin everywhere we want.
Yes, they can be converted into each other but the difference between both of them is that real cash can be used to purchase goods and daily needs while bitcoins being limited to online shopping. I am sure the shops will open in future where we can pay BTC and buy things but at least for now that's the difference between cash and BTC.
292  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you think will be a best time to buy bitcoin? on: November 06, 2016, 05:41:30 PM
I don't think it will fall more than to 500$ anymore.
$500 are likely never possible unless otherwise if there will not be any major collapse. Technically, we are marching towards $1800 levels for the period of next six months.

As for selling, I think Bitcoin is likely to be around 800$ soon and then stabilize arond 700$, so I think 800$ is the best to sell then. But are there many people who would like to buy BTC when it costs so much? I don't think so.
You got any technical analysis to support your statement ? I do see bitcoin will be surging toward $1000 within next one and half months. The pivot point analysis for the last month periods shows up as intermediate resistance levels are around $1000 price levels only, so if you are an active trader above $1000 must be the right place to put your sell orders.
293  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Safest way to sell bitcoins? on: November 05, 2016, 01:01:07 PM
The best and the safest way to sell your bitcoins is to be a part of trusted and reputed site and it will also depend on the country that you are living in as for me localbitcoins is the best place to sell my coins.
Part of a trusted site ? what you mean ?
I think there are a lot of exchanges that can give you paypal, skrill or anything you want so you can those and then convert to bank money. By the way I am curious that there are debit cards of BTC do they work on online shopping ? if so we don't need cash anymore Smiley
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Art Of Investing - Michael Burry on: November 05, 2016, 12:49:44 PM
I have seen so many people trying to compare Stock and Crypto trading, both may be similar in some way but there is a thick line separating them, in crypto you only have selected few of these tokens been driven by fundamentals and I have seen several times when technical chart analysis failed, it is an emotional thing
Basically it is just because of thin market cap. When comparing bitcoin market cap to any stock's market cap, bitcoin must seem as a penny stock. Only very few whales are controlling most of the cryptocoin movements, that must be a the prime reason for the failure of technical analysis.

Technical analysis are always subject to news and events. We need to react for recent news whereas when single group of people 'controlling' the whole market, it is literally equivalent to the deciding factors (such as news) are more frequently changing and affecting price movements.
295  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes in trading that lead to loss of money on: November 05, 2016, 12:24:53 PM
If you buy all in and then the price keeps dropping, you will lose a lot of money. I buy in stages so I'm not all in at one time. Same idea for selling because if the price keeps rising, you want to be able to keep selling.
What I do is, I buy altcoins for around 25% of value that I want to risk with that coin, then I wait for the price to rise, if it rises i sell 50% of coins and than wait. If price gets even higher I sell all, if it gets low then I buy 50% more and so on, this way I hardly get any loss.
296  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: November 05, 2016, 10:15:29 AM
Yes the price matters of the bitcoin and I think that its pretty important to have the price so we can see what is happening with it due to the fact that people are buying and selling on it.
If we do not have a price there will be less more buyers..

A value of something is really important and that is what and why we are working for. So basically if bitcoin has no value do you think that you would waste your time spending a lot of effort to earn some good bitcoins? Of course not, but because of bitcoins good price we are able to work harder for it because we know that it is valuable.
The price is obviously very important to us here, we are more inspired when we see a good price and whatever we do we are all happy when the price of bitcoin is increasing because we feel that we are living in a progressive world which is the crypto world.
because we knew that when btc rises up the value will be much better from our local fiat the more increase the better
we got in our investment so its really matter to most of us here.
And to me the price of bitcoins is what only matters, basically I am among those who hold their bitcoins and then sell them at a higher price. So, if the price does not rise then we will have to wait long time and hence less profit too.
While if we did not had exchanges for btc to usd then there wont be any significance of the price.
297  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which trading method is better? on: November 05, 2016, 09:41:29 AM
At present, I am doing a research on the most profitable trading method and I am wondering: Is it better to do btc/fiat trading or btc/altcoin trading?

Which method yields the highest profit?

Btc/fiat is the most safe to do trading because it's price is stable and doesn't drop that big. Unlike in altcoin trading, only few altcoins are trusted and most of it are scam. Just a pump and dump scheme. But if you are willing to accept the risk, altcoin trading is more profitable for me because if your only a small trader like me, your capital can be doubled or even more what if you are a whale or a big trader, how big will your profit be.
I also think the same because of one more reason, the bitcoins are never gonna die like some shit altcoins do so even if we save them and the price is low we can wait sometime and the price will get back up. While with alt coins a quick income is possible but most of the times people give loss only.
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEver keep all your coins on an exchange on: November 05, 2016, 07:52:54 AM
This is still the most common mistake among newbies. People buy their bitcoins on coinbase, circle, or any of those sites, and they almost never do any other research than that, they think they are set and it's safe to leave the coins on there. Those people will learn the hard way.
It is really unfortunate for someone that is just coming into bitcoin and start using onine wallet without making the necessary research to know what bitcoin or cyptocurrency is all about and how to protect them from hack/theft. In every steps we do, we should always make good research about where we want venture else we are bound to regret.
299  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: November 05, 2016, 07:37:28 AM
So guys, after 2 years of trading i am going to stop. (unless i have full time to trade, which i currently don't)

I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years.

Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)

Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly)

Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.

Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.

Do anything you want with it. Build a business for the future. Or just gamble it if you don't care losing it. Buy something for yourself or treat someone you love. 40 btc is big enough to treat yourself for one day or invest it to something or building a business.
gamble is really bad decision especially if he's holding that big amount of money, his greediness will lure him to bet more when he's losing, and it's normal for all people to have this kind of behaviour but it's about how to prevent it to be happening,so gambling is not right
Yes, actually advising such a pro trader to gamble is not worth it, if he had time to gamble maybe he would have continued to trade and earn. I think gambling will just make him loose those 40 BTC in very quick time itself and then making him feel so depressed that he even looses all his earnings and salary together.
300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Bitcoin Business To Create? on: November 05, 2016, 07:18:29 AM
I think you could create a exchange site to buy and sell bitcoin. If you have time for it then do this manually otherwise make the system automated with scripts.

Isn't that simple create and run an exchange, you need a team, a lot of work, a good security...

Well, we can see a lot of untrusted exchanges over there.
Yes, creating exchange site has a lot of income and if you make a name for yourself in market like shapeshift.io has then really the profits are huge. But, such sites are always under the radar of hackers so please make ure you have security setup before even thinking of making a exchange site and more if you plan to make a automated exchange site.
