801  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: December 06, 2015, 10:54:31 AM
The most important is its credibility and widely accepted by merchants all over the world. From this point of view, bitcoin's merchant acceptance is already better than gold, which require merchant to have specific tools and expertise to verify its purity

I don't know from where you are getting your data from. Do you really think that bitcoin's merchant acceptance is better than gold? Gold is accepted by hundreds of millions of merchants around the world (I'm talking about gold bullion coins / bars). On the other hand, how many merchants are accepting Bitcoin? 10,000? or 100,000?

I wonder how you are comparing the online accepting merchants of bitcoin with offline (physical) stores?
Even gold is an international recognized medium of exchange, but not widely used by people for their daily needs even after 3000 years of practicing.
Bitcoin is with 10M people for daily spending as well as for long term investment within 6 years.

Gold is old and outdated in my perspective if I consider the medium of exchange for today's smart life.
I need a exchange medium in my phone and in my laptop. How compatible is gold with my requirements? Gold can not compete with bitcoin in value appreciations in upcoming days. Gold era is gone. Welcome to bitcoin era.....
802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: December 06, 2015, 09:47:53 AM
definitely no gambling, too easy to lose.  Perhaps more conservative routes like faucets, simply purchasing, holding, or investing.

holding is definitely not growing your bitcoins.

Anyway, try saving wallets like haobtc or Magnr. Theres a new one coming up which I cant remember the name off my head, it was featured in some crypto news site
sorry sir, i think holding is also growing your bitcoin, we can say it longterm investment, im holding my bitcoin to paper wallet, and i sure it will growing in future

I too believe in bitcoin value appreciations. Because by investing bitcoin we may grow our bitcoins and may not in some cases. Saving bitcoins from signature campaign and buying with my regular job is the only ways I do follow to grow my bitcoins.

Indeed better and safest ways to grow your bitcoins. But I feel these are passive way of growing bitcoins when I have more free time to gamble and to try in bitcoin trading to grow my bitcoins rapidly and actively. But there are more risks and always profits is not guaranteed.

Yes active methods are always has some risks. If you are not expert in your active methods then your active methods may turn negative methods to wipe out all your savings. Slow and steady is the better method I believe in. I grow my bitcoins using signature campaign and faucet earnings.
803  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: December 06, 2015, 09:25:42 AM
No it is very difficult to get 1 btc cause i am still a newboe so for temporary i can only earn from faucet

you can buy, if you have a job, with 1/3 of a normal salary, you can get one bitcoin right now, i think it's still in the range for average joe to earn a good amount by buying

Yes this year fully we had and now also having good price levels to buy some bitcoins to make ourselves with bitcoin ecosystem revolutions. Buying a little amount from our salary would fetch a big number of bitcoin in certain period of time. I do buy often.

Yes buying often in small mount of bitcoin is the only way we can get one full bitcoin when we considering the faucet earning or signature earning amounts. Sadly I too have missed the chances of buying at 220 dollars levels.
804  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where u use bitcoins? on: December 06, 2015, 07:49:00 AM
Even I got many chances to spend bitcoin for leading my daily life I prefer to save bitcoins for my future.
I still use fiats for paying my bills online. Mobile recharge is the first thing I tried to spend a little satoshi but changes my mind later not to spend bitoins now itself.
805  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: December 06, 2015, 07:19:04 AM
bitcoin prices will continue to rise, perhaps in the future will be better bitcoin, so prices will continue at the pump. but no one can predict the future bitcoin, but my feeling says bitcoin will remain live for 10-20 years in the future or more

Bitcoin will live forever. Slow progress in adoption really blooms every year. Transactions, companies, exchanges, btc related services, all in all they are born and made because increase in numbers of people using bitcoin is noticeable.

it is better if the bitcoin will live forever, I'm really happy to hear this because my life really depends on bitcoin Smiley

What do you mean your life depends on it? 'Cause I'd be stressed out like a mf'r if my life depended on it.

I was unemployed and so far I earn just from bitcoin. so my life is very rely on bitcoin, that is what I mean Grin

That's so humble to hear you relied on bitcoin for making your life. Saving bitcoin may help to a luxury life in future. But leading current life based on bitcoin earning must be big opportunity bitcoin has provided to us. Bitcoin is the future and present too....
806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 06, 2015, 04:18:12 AM
I think so this test match now is in decisive position and it is clear India is going to win this match with very huge margin South African batting line will collapse easily against Indian spin bowlers.

The only question is - Will the match go into the fifth day?  Grin

I think Indian team has decided to practice the batting so they are playing slowly and getting some runs. If they want to finish faster than they wouldn't had opted for batting in second innings. I today may be after first session either they will all out or they will ask SA to bat. Do not know whether SA can bounce back in this last innings of test series or not.

Yes it looks like Indian team is practicing the batting in this second innings. I don't think they will ask SA to bat until they all out

No. I guess India may wait Kohli hit hundred runs. India are more conscious about individual records than winning for the nation. So, you may see Rahane century also. Wait this test must have a result.

Yes there must be a result from this test match unless the weather does not permit. India are just doing batting practice in my view as they are more confident to get all ten wickets of South Africa within minimum 50 overs.
807  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour? on: December 05, 2015, 04:53:31 PM
With a small investment, it is very possible to set up automated trading and make $1BTC per hour, which say $100-$200 in your account. If you trade in the right markets, you can easily make this and beyond daily.

I have read similar things a hundred times. But no one ever proofed it.
I highly that this is possible constantly. The risks are too high.
And what are the "right markets" please?!
To me this is just talking hot air!

Yes there is no living proof for this kind of claims. Trading or gambling are same kind of things which should not be considered as a way of earning even with any proof. Only consistent way of earning with no need of investments methods should be considered.

Yes automated trading or automated gambling are not consistently money making methods. These ways some times gives profits and most of the times end up in losses. So, legit ways for making one dollar in bitcoin may be possible with freelancing.
808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for a living or a living for Gambling? on: December 05, 2015, 03:13:56 PM
Ideally, they are the same thing. They're both bad, and they're both gambling. There is no such thing as gambling for a living. The house edge makes sure of that. It's almost impossible to make profit and walk away, and gamblers know that.

Did you know many people in pokerstars make it as a living? They are gamle for years and succeed keep their live nicely.
Some people out there already practice this thing and reach their success . they called pro gambler.

Do you know any one of them? Most of the gamblers are thinking like you that many people are making profits from gambling so they also can try to get more money from gambling. But most of them end up in losing what ever they have than only they will realize it. 100% gambling is not for living but it is just for enjoying the fun.

Yes only in social media or in word of mouth I do hear about Gambling achievers. I also doubt there are complete fictitious stories to temp the common peoples to make them to invest in gambling. It's very much rare to have a successful gambler as a friend.

Not like that always. I have seen some real gambling money makers. But they are not daily winners but they do loose money only from their winning parts. Lotteries has produced many successful gamblers like my close friend too. They are successful as they use their profits to gamble again.
809  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: December 05, 2015, 02:27:26 PM
This is actualy good that some porn sites accept bitcoin. So that I can put videos with out knowing my real name.

And just getting bitcoin Tongue
I don't wanna go with porn sites and all for bitcoins. Its a worthy money I will not waste my hard earned bitcoin for that. Its just few minutes enjoyment. So he can do some thing instead of caring about porn sites.

You may be more money conscious than enjoying life. For what purpose we are making money so hard : Just make our life ease and fun filled. If we do not eat we can save more. Is it possible? Same way spending for necessary things (it may differ person to person) is also part of life. So, spending bitcoin for porn sites is good for some people's usual lifestyle.

Well said. For many people, visiting porn sites are part of their daily activities. So, they never think of future worth of bitcoin, they just consider it as their money and using it for today's value. Nothing wrong in it in my view also.
810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: December 05, 2015, 02:05:47 PM
Bitcoin and PayPal are essentially on par at the moment. The only difference is that PayPal may be a tad faster, and Bitcoin can appreciate in price. It really depends on what you want and what to spend your funds on.

the difference is that one is expensive as hell, the other save you money when purchasing something while increasing its value over time(i don't care about the haters saying that btc will die or trash liek that, because they have sold at $10), this is big difference for me

also they are equal in speed, actually bitcoin is faster, when i received for example, my money back froma  purchase because of a refund, i've waited days to see it in my paypal account, especially on weekend, not so much with bitcoin...

Yes this main difference of less fees associated with bitcoin will make it as a replacement for Paypal in near future. Even both are in equal speed, with bitcoin we can enjoy the liberality of owning our wealth. With Paypal some one else handles our money.

You still don't understand that you are comparing a currency (bitcoins) to a service (paypal) Of course you own your money because bitcoin is a currency, paypal works with currencies but it's not a currency.

The beauty is bitcoin is a currency as well as service in your terms. So, comparing these two is perfectly alright. Both are meant for online services. But bitcoin has many advantages to it's users, the user can be in sending or receiving end but can enjoy the same type of advantages where Paypal is not like that.
811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 27, 2015, 05:41:43 PM
It seems that England will set up a target of 160+ for Pakistan.I think my decision to place on English team was good as this will be again difficult for Pakistani team to chase the target.

Yes. I'm putting my odds for England winning as they have set 173 as target for Pakistan. It would be extremely tough for Pakistan to chase down with England's bowling attack. Hopefully I believe that yesterday's result will be repeated once again on England's favor.
812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Behaviors Lead to Gambling Addiction on: November 26, 2015, 04:19:58 PM
The answer is simple. People are delusional and imagine winnings before the game even starts. That's why a slot machine for example gets associated with winning not losing and when they see it they see a prize.
This makes people try their luck and keep pushing despite initial losses.

Yes, imaginary thinking of making huge amount of money over short period time is the primary reason for gambling addictions. The real problem is people never come out of their imagination of gambling benefits. This simply leads to life killing gambling addictions.
813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 25, 2015, 05:18:43 PM
It seems that this pitch is not supportive for bating as India has also all out at low score earlier on 215 and now South Africa now already lost 2 quick wickets on 11 runs and today is just first day of play.

Yes this test match would be going to be more interesting as South Africa will fight back for their pride of keeping their number one rank in test ratings. But Indian spinners will be the thorn in South Africans flesh. I believe India will win this series by winning this match.
814  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: November 24, 2015, 09:30:57 AM
I recomemded to earn earn btc trade in some altcoins
or if do you like risk, you can try to gambling fast earn btc if you a luck

Well the one way you posted is risky too. I really can't considered trading altcoin to altcoin. Promising coins sucks. I still considered btc to usd and vice versa exchange. Im getting profit here.

Altcoins just have to much pump/dump coins anymore.  It seems that they are mined at launch and sold.. then coin goes away.  Not all but a lot do this.

LTC is the one most liked.  It tends to follow BTC in price in my opinion.   If you go into pretty much any other coin it could be great earnings... or huge loss.

In my opinion alt coins are not the right way to earn bitcoin. Because we do not know when these coins will be dumped out. So high risky to hold them. With my experience I always want to stay with my bitcoins but always look for new ways of making bitcoins.
815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know your own Bitcoin address? on: November 24, 2015, 06:50:40 AM
I have so many bitcoin address, and of course i cant remember each one..but i can mark it in 3 final digit

But I do not have many bitcoin address, still I do not remember any of them other than first 3 characters and last 2 characters. I always copy paste for using them. I believe there is no benefit of remembering them.
816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: November 24, 2015, 06:45:32 AM
What are your opinions on paypal or bitcoin for online shopping?

I prefer to bitcoin, it's easy to do a transaction, you don't need to verify and your account will not frozen just because you use different IP Roll Eyes

I too prefer, bitcoin. Paypal may be presently the largest online payment solution provider but at the same time it's the one of biggest enemy to many online business people. Freezing account funds are very much famous with paypal for any reason, higher number of transactions also one of them.
I believe with bitcoin to overcome these hurdles.

Paypal must be a scammer by locking many PTC site owners account for silly reasons just like you have mentioned. I have suffered a lot being a PTC/GPT regular user. Bitcoin must be savior for PTC industry. Unfortunately this industry has not completely adopt bitcoin yet. May be the fluctuating price a reason.
817  Economy / Speculation / Re: Back to $ 400 soon? on: November 24, 2015, 05:51:46 AM
seems to be a long time we go back to $400 and it looks like we will continue to be stable at the price of $320 until the end of the month.

The price is quite stable for the last two weeks. This could be the quiet before the storm. There is no big news to drive the price either way.

yes i have predicted this and it will be stable until the end of the month, but I hope to be back to $300 before it goes to $400. either to buy some bitcoin when back to $300 Smiley

But in my perspective it had tested already tested the $300 a week back but not broke $300 level as it was a big resistance. Now price is very much stable around $330 to $340 levels so it must be a good sign to get back to $400 levels so soon. Prices always sustain before rally.
818  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be the highest price BTC can see in 2015? on: November 24, 2015, 05:14:11 AM
Last week it touches 502$ in Bitstamp. Was it the highest price in 2015 or will we see higher than that price until the new year?

I guess that's already the highest we can see this 2015. This coming december some people will sell their coins (including me and some of my friends) and I think that won't help bitcoin price to go up. We should be contented with the bitcoin price right now Cheesy

There are more buyers in China waiting for buying on the event of Christmas and new year celebrations at any available prices. I believe prices may test $600 levels by end of December, so that it would be a great celebration time for many people.
819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there a difference between buying shares in the stock exchange and gambling? on: November 22, 2015, 08:37:02 AM
I think you don't the meaning of share market investment that's why you telling that investing in share market is guessing game. But real scenario is your buying a business if you don't understand the company business then don't invest in that company. So as per me share market investment for long term is totally different from gambling.

Not everyone buying shares for long term some people just treat it like day trading and nothing special about that. The fast market and high volume is the reason people use it for day trading

What you said is correct, every one want's fast money and at the end who ever goes for these kind of fast money they will end up losing all their money in super fast way. If you check the share market history most of the day traders has lost money but who ever used share market for long term investment tool only made very good profits. So share market is for making profits in long term but not for short term.

But I could clim, gambling would give you more profit in long term persistance along with your gambling skills. Share market is not a guarantee way of making profit in long term, there are many chances that your shares may go to zero value when the company goes bankruptsy.
In my opinion share markets are totally out of our control, but in gambling I feel the ball is still in my court.

Share markets are good in long term - passive - some what guaranteed if we choose very good MNCs.
Gambling is only good if you are expert in gambling skills and will be able to actively make big profits even on daily basis.

Both gambling and day-trading are dangerous for beginners.

Learn skills then gamble otherwise invest in share market and wait for long time to make profits passively.
820  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: In 2015, faucets are bad for bitcoin on: November 22, 2015, 07:48:48 AM
I agree,it because bitcoiner not use faucet anymore..i found this on many social media group

No i think some people still use faucet as their first impression to know and own bitcoin freely.

yeah i still use faucets. i got my first mbtc through faucets which gave me motivation
to do it more seriously which led to earn my first btc. faucets has been a big help to btc.

Like you many people are still continuing their faucet working just considering it's a free money over time. I too we believe those little satoshi from faucets will worth some big dollars in future. So, keeping faucet earning is not a bad idea even after we have big amount of bitcoins.

Yes if you believe in bitcoin it would worth some millions in future, then collecting small amount of Satoshi from faucets as time pass also a good idea. I had quit faucet earning after several months of hard working I could not reach even 100 mBTC. Out of frustration I quit faucet earning. Faucets are good only on leisure time.

Faucets are not meant for earning big amounts of bitcoins.
They are here only for the new bitcoiners to understand how the bitcoin ecosystem works.
If you want to see some bitcoins in your wallet then you can use faucets to get as early as possible to see some bitcoin in your wallet. Faucet best suits for newbies.
