283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Besides its speculation ,what is the real use of bitcoin ? on: May 13, 2017, 12:34:54 AM
what about using its technology to develop a network with an enhanced security? Tongue FYI the use of bitcoin is explicitly not limited, you can see some of the website such as newegg, dell or steam (AFAIK) has been accepting bitcoin as a form of payment. in long term, you can use it as a savings. when you are old, your funds will most likely be raised up thousands as the standardisation of payment. for instance, japan. the country of legalising bitcoin payment after the mt. gox incident had restored.1

1not sure by 100%

Bitcoin is a faster way and convenient way of payment. You don't have to go to money remittance center just to transfer funds. The fee is getting expensive but still cheaper than money transfer. But for me, its a form of investment. Theres a lot of potential to grow over years. I buy bitcoin only for investment.
when the price of bitcoin goes up and the fees are ever raising due to large amount of transactions yet to confirm, the fee is eventually larger than money transfer; that's why we have altcoin.
284  Economy / Speculation / Re: To the moon! on: May 13, 2017, 12:19:10 AM
We are experiencing a moon dip people. I think the launch will be delayed by a few weeks. This may be your last chance to buy under $1700 Wink

coloured moon: when bitcoin to the moon, so do the altcoins. lmao! bitcoin going to 2000 is really ready to happen, thought it wouldn't be this month.

Every idiot and their dog wants to go back in time to 2010 and buy 100,000 bitcoins but it's not going to happen. 99.99% of alts are shitcoins so good luck with that hyper inflated bubble you're buying into. Most have no value at all as they're just clones of other coins.

i would think so, however in one of the factor about the transaction problem, for bitcoin, particularly if you are doing some small transactions, you will have to pay a relatively ridiculous fees due to the high volume of unconfirmed transactions. altcoins often become a way to avoid some of the unneeded fees by trading with bitcoin, which results the support of bitcoin dominance and/or the rise of the altcoins. thus notable altcoins become higher in capitalization.

in a nutshell, the bubbles risen up for avoiding the high bitcoin transaction fee.

zodiac said that the giveaway is processed per 2 or 3 weeks, so that i did not see my balance. thought the balance must be used all in order to claim again.

congrats for hitting 2x 1250

do you have a clue what the chance is to hit x1250 ?

good luck

I never remember the odds with these games. They don't matter too much in my opinion. If the odds say 1 in 32,000 I know I can play 2,000,000 rounds and not hit once.

32768 if you are playing two sides. 65536 for one.
i was once hit the '1 out of 32768' two times, and thus the winnings raised rapidly, yet busted since betting too fast.

289  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Will Reach $3000 By The End Of The Year on: May 08, 2017, 12:13:02 PM
the bitcoin as a Japanese legal currency will as well pushed some of the notable altcoins such as litecoin, stellar lumens to up, because the high volume of transaction to be a legal currency. if the people are unable to use bitcoin due to its fee, then they choose something else instead. altcoins are traded mainly with bitcoins, thus supports bitcoin's price.
290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $0.85 transaction fee is absolutely ridiculous! on: May 07, 2017, 07:08:05 AM
some of the group wants to congest the blockchain unconfirmed transactions, because the limited transaction volume for confirmed, them and miners take the advantage. in order to get your transaction confirmed faster, you need to pay more fee in it.

Is this the only reason why they want to congest the system? There may be more to it than meets the eye. What if some of these people have made their investment in alts? If Bitcoin goes down as a result of technical issues, then the alts can benefit out of it.

they wanna benefit some specific altcoins, such as doge, lite with less transaction volume. bitcoin is too major and the core still standing up.
291  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are your choice of top 5 software's? on: May 07, 2017, 07:05:57 AM

since i was one more way hacked by Robertt here, i have decided to change the password to a very long one, and in which the combination is far harder than cracking the bitcoin private key. with this measure, i recently changed most of my important accounts' passwords.
Yeah, everyone should be careful, better to change your password periodically and use long combination password.
We know this is big problem from a gambling site and they need to upgrade their security systems, but how could the thief try to login into another site, hope get some dumb people who use same account name and password in every site. We've learned the lesson here, thanks for safedice for sharing information Smiley

although i am gradually scrambling my password in where i have an account there, all the username in the various sites of me are identical for the prevention of false impersonation. Tongue

That is why most sites would put some disclaimers saying " do not use the same password from other sites". Its obvious that plenty would assume, claim or impersonate you most likely if you are already in high position or what other matters. Some hackers would just like to take revenge and try to bring you down to scratches while some of it will just play some pranks on you depending on his mental reasoning.

explicitly. however. in order to prevent people from misunderstanding you, when you create an account, better choose the same username as you ar using. once again, as long as your passwords are unique with those sites' accounts, there are nothing need to worry, one more thing, better use two factor authentication if needed.

297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spam attack solution? on: May 06, 2017, 09:20:47 AM
if their fees are low, then if you put a slightly higher fee for the transaction, then you don't need to worry about it. miners put the higher possibility of verifying higher fee transaction, so doesn't matter. if you cannot hold with the high volume unconfirmed transaction, time to switch to other altcoin for temporary use.
