I work on similar stuff.

I would try to run such a system on mobile phones. Much harder to shut down than static servers.

In case you want to use java: I released some of my API implementations as opensources already (not yet complete, though):

https://github.com/ReAzem/cryptocoin-tradelib

If you are interested in some form of a collaboration, let me know.

No Fibonacci. I used Java.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Working on a next-gen alt exchange - ideas & comments welcomed! on: January 11, 2014, 04:38:29 PM
I created the tables from a data model and already have some more stuff. My experience is from trading software. I wrote (and write) bots and implemented some APIs in my trading lib:

https://github.com/ReAzem/cryptocoin-tradelib

So I know at least some problems of those APIs.
287  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Multiple accounts on BTC-e.com ? on: January 10, 2014, 10:47:26 PM
It's easier for a bot to check your current funds.

If you trade btc/usd and ltc/usd with 1 account, you might not know what percentage of the usd funds belongs to the btc trade algo and what belongs to the ltc trader.
288  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for programmer to code me a simple bot on: January 10, 2014, 08:58:38 PM
Do you have to enter commands while the bot is running? (Because you asked for the gui). I have a framework, that runs on a VPS, so it's hard to have a GUI there.
289  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC-e day trading strategies on: January 10, 2014, 08:51:50 PM
When you want to turn yout strategy into a standalone software, let me know. I work on similar stuff and already got something running.

RapidFire: would you be interesting in creating such an exchange, that is better for bots etc? I implemented some APIs and wrote bot code, so I guess I have some idea, what would help...
291  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: An open source multi-wallet, multi-cryptocurrencies, multi-platform application on: January 10, 2014, 01:52:58 PM
I would add them to the lib then, I guess. See the link in my earlier posting.
292  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Multiple accounts on BTC-e.com ? on: January 10, 2014, 11:00:50 AM
Does anyone know what happens if you request data too frequently? Does the IP (= both accounts) get banned then?
293  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: An open source multi-wallet, multi-cryptocurrencies, multi-platform application on: January 09, 2014, 08:28:29 PM
No. Openbitcointrader was meant as a opensource trading app. I wanted (and still want) to support this project and donated some sources. I work on a bot framework and released some of my API implementations as a lib, so the trading app doesn't have to replicate this work. I'm also willing to release some of my UI stuff later, if the opensource trading app could use them.

Very, very, cool! Another user, who doesn't hate java! I'm excited!

I also write trading stuff in java.

Some parts of my sources are here:

Maybe you could join forces with the openbitcointrader project?

Mateo: could the lifetime of the card (and the associated bank account)  extended by paying another 30$ at the date of expiration?
