281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gift to wife. on: October 18, 2023, 04:29:29 AM
congratulations on your wedding, and I'm also happy when your wife likes the gift you gave. After all, you are giving something very useful, especially if he likes it. bitcoin is an investment, and so he will probably learn about bitcoin and learn about the investment. It's really nice when our partner really supports the work or hobby we are pursuing. even more so when he has an interest in it. Actually, I'm not married yet, but when I get married, I will probably try to teach my partner about bitcoin and the crypto world.
282  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Reward for a Trading Mentor on: October 17, 2023, 09:17:50 AM
In this case, you need to ask the mentor you find directly. Sometimes some people want to be paid monthly for meetings several times a week. Maybe there are several other mentors who take advantage of a few percent of the profits you get. However, it is quite difficult to find a professional mentor in trading. Many people claim that, but basically they are also looking for additional income from it. A professional mentor will probably provide evidence that they are really good at this, or maybe people already know him or her well at it.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in new projects. on: October 17, 2023, 08:06:27 AM
only invest in a new project that you're really sure of, but considering that there are many existing coin already losing its value heavily its recommended to invest in them first. at least
you won't worry about the coin just gone, these existing coins are more reliable in this case.
that's right. It's best to choose a new project that you really believe will be successful, accompanied by evidence from extensive analysis and research. Apart from that, if you just want to try and look for a potential new project, perhaps you can invest with minimal funds to avoid risks, unless the project has collaborated with a well-known company and has provided information about being listed on a well-known exchange. but projects like that are very rare. In essence, if you want to invest in a new project, do in-depth research, and if you are sure the project will be successful, invest within the minimum range of finances you have.
284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Give Bitcoin investment time on: October 17, 2023, 06:18:39 AM
that's because many people think that bitcoin is the fastest way to get rich. they see many people getting rich by using bitcoin. However, they don't know how the person is trying to make a lot of money with bitcoin. They assume that buying bitcoin, then waiting a few days, then the price will rise very high.
It's not wrong if people think that bitcoin is a way to get rich, but it also requires time and analysis. There are many things to consider when holding bitcoin. Especially if we are targeting big profits, then we also need to increase our patience.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with spam and scam tokens on my wallet? on: October 16, 2023, 02:08:56 PM
What to do? Well, for me I just act like those tokens don't exist in my wallet. I'm a very skeptical person when it comes to freebies. Even when I got into airdrops and the project sent the tokens I was never in a hurry to sell. I would just sit back awhile and watched other participants react or take action. This is because I'm of the opinion that free lunch doesn't exist. Something must give in. OP, ignore those tokens whenever you get them to avoid regret. Hiding them in the wallet is the way to go since we can't completely delete them.
well, pretending that scam coins don't exist is the best thing, because even when we move the wallet we have, there is no guarantee they won't send it to the new wallet, unless OP really wants to move his assets to an exchange, or several exchange where it is also risky. It's best to ignore all these coins. Even now I don't know how many coins like that I have in my wallet.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats Your Favourite Meme Coins? on: October 16, 2023, 06:19:19 AM
My favorite is Dogecoin, Obviously.
It has a huge amount of supporters, it is fast, it has cheap fees for it's transactions, etc.
It is the original meme coin and even though it is a meme coin, it has managed to receive a very good market capitalization in comparison to other project which attempted to do the same or more than what Dogecoin achieved.

Though, in honor of truth, I must say I have not held Doge in a while, since I do not mean to get much more exposure to memcoins than I can afford right now. I am still opened to get some in the future.
Yes, I remember when the price of doge coins almost reached $1, I wished I still had some doge coins in my wallet. Apart from that, Doge coin is a meme coin which is the inspiration for other meme coins today. To be honest, I'm not a fan of meme coins either, but I have made profits from them several times, and one of them was from meme coins. if I put meme coin into my wallet, then I will choose doge coin for that.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins important? on: October 16, 2023, 04:52:09 AM
For me, investing in altcoins can result in large profits because the high value fluctuations that occur on altcoins, let alone a freshly established cryptocurrency, will attract investors looking to make a quick profit, thus altcoins are a smart choice. However, we are all aware of the dangers we are taking while investing in altcoin, as well as the underlying hazards, because fraud and death coins will always exist in altcoin.
In fact, there are quite a lot of advantages to altcoins, especially popular altcoins. In fact, quite a lot have survived and have great benefits to this day. Even though there are many altcoins that tend to be scams, by choosing altcoins that have good potential, or popular altcoins, all of this can possibly be minimized. The reason other people buy altcoins is to get profits whose potential profit is higher than Bitcoin when it is purchased with a small amount of money.
288  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You are also like them? on: October 15, 2023, 04:57:48 AM
You don't have to put a lot of trust in youtube analysts. If a person is good at trading, why should he waste his time recording videos? He will simply not have time for it. Analysts don't make money by trading anymore - they sell courses, recruit referrals, advertise any strange projects, and make money on views. Their predictions are usually worthless
you are right. they get money from the analysis they do, and if they upload it on YouTube, then the goal is views, because the more views they get, the greater the potential for them to get a lot of money. However, the analysis he does may be wrong or right, but it will not really have a big impact on him. The people who are affected are the people who watch the analysis and believe in the analysis they make.
Apart from that, good traders will focus on their goals in trading, such as looking for information about what they are trading, and so on. I think they won't have time to create videos, edit, and evaluate the videos they will upload beforehand.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your Favorite Altcoin and Why? on: October 15, 2023, 02:21:07 AM
So far, I've always liked Ethereum and BNB, and I might be leaning towards Ethereum. I really believe the potential for these two coins is very large in the future. if a bull run occurs, I'm pretty sure the prices of these two coins will be very high.
Apart from price potential, to date ethereum and BNB have clear benefits and are always being developed. In the past, I made quite good profits from ethereum, and I still hope to get the same profits from the coin. Apart from that, I have hopes for BNB to reach thousands of dollars in the future. I think that the potential of BNB is the same as ETH in the past.
290  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Is Better Than Digital Gold on: October 14, 2023, 09:01:58 AM
You can always own both bitcoin and gold (digital or physical). It doesn’t have to be one or another. Bitcoin is better than gold in many situations but that doesn’t mean gold is completely outdated. Gold is great too. First of all gold has multiple thousand years of history backing it. Btc’s history is only about a decade and a half long. This means a lot to many people. In a world where everything changes so fast, gold managed to stay same and it has been relevant to this day. I favor both and I own both. I don’t see gold becoming a useless asset in the future because it has an intrinsic value just like any other commodity. (Like rice, coffee, copper, wheat etc)
Well, that's the best. If you think that both are good investments, then having both is a very good thing. Apart from that, bitcoin and gold also have their respective advantages and disadvantages. However, still having both is the best thing compared to comparing and choosing one of them. If someone's goal is to invest, then he will definitely think that keeping everything in 1 basket will have risks, so choosing more than 1 type of investment is the way out for that. In addition, the bitcoin and gold communities are almost the same size and easy to liquidate, so having both will not make us confused. We just need good management for that.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: While Hodling, Don't under estimate the importance of selling. on: October 14, 2023, 06:54:32 AM
We all know that Crypto is a long term investment but not all. Many people buy memecoins and some other coins with no use case to make money but they listen to influencers and keep holding after making huge profit to later end up at loss. Always remember that these Altcoins cannot continue to go up forever. Selling at profit will surely make you buy more at low price if you believe in the project.
Also, selling is important in most cases because its same as taking profit which is risk management, brings peace of mind and lock you in gains..
Selling at the right time also allow you to diversify your portfolio.
Note : This isn't a financial advice but my own strong opinion according to my experience.
Yes, actually that is something that must be done, but sometimes our nature sometimes wants to get higher profits, making us hold the coins longer. The problem is, if it's a good coin, it's not a problem, but if it's a meme coin, then we need to realize that there are quite a lot of risks that can occur. So, taking profits while we still get them is something that must be done, even if it's only 50%. However, we are fighting against our greedy nature, so when we win over it, we may actually be able to take advantage of the situation to sell high without hesitation, and buy back when the price is low.
292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in bitcoin and forget the investment on: October 14, 2023, 04:34:26 AM
I think right now is the best time to invest in Bitcoin. Those who invest in Bitcoin will surely make huge profits when the price of Bitcoin is in a bull run. Investing right now and holding till the bull market is definitely possible to earn profit that is why we should invest and hold. Although prices are currently fluctuating within a range, now is a good time to invest. We must wait to see the next bull market and reap huge profits from Bitcoin. Since our next halving will be in 2024 there is not much time for this to happen and only a few months we will see the bitcoin halving. And when the bitcoin halving event happens, after that the bitcoin market will go up and the price of bitcoin will gradually increase. After that the Bitcoin market will increase and will be seen in the bull market and then I will tell you to invest now and you will get a lot of profit. It is true that we have to invest in Bitcoin and after investing in Bitcoin for a long time forget about it for a few years. When we forget about Bitcoin investment after few years we will be able to earn huge amount of money from that investment.
well, starting to invest now until 2024 or 2026 is probably not that difficult. Considering that we only need to wait another 2 to 3 years to see the effects of the halving, there's no harm in starting to collect bitcoins little by little now or maybe immediately buying bitcoins in large amounts. Even though there are still risks, and it may be difficult to forget about the investment we made, the potential for an increase in the price of bitcoin due to the halving may be quite large. This can be seen from previous years.
However, investing in bitcoin is not a bad idea right now, in fact it could be an opportunity before the price of bitcoin really rises. However, I think there are still quite a lot of people who also think that popular altcoins will also be affected by the price of bitcoin and could rise also high, so I feel that some people might choose coins like ethereum, BNB, or other popular altcoins instead of bitcoin because lower price. However, if you want lower risk, then bitcoin is a good choice right now.
293  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My experience as a beginner trader on: October 13, 2023, 01:34:40 PM
OP, your motto about quitting is not an option might be dangerous. Hopefully, you're not getting emotional right there because that will be the time that you might break your earlier plan like putting in more money that you can only afford to lose. I'd been on and off on trading although I can say that I am not really that good. The only time I had great profits was during major bull runs which are the year of bitcoin halving and its following year. At present, I have a small position in the future that is more than a week already because I am hardheaded instead of just waiting to make trades next year and 2025.
Yes, I also believe the saying that trading is not made for everyone. Many people have tried it and didn't like it. However, for those who are interested in trading, and want to become professionals, then stopping is not something that needs to be done. Maybe the OP wants to convey this.
People who want to become professional traders need to be aware of all the risks involved in the world of trading before they start, so I think that they already have the basics of trading. It's just that making profits and losses is a normal thing in the world of trading. Maybe what he means by quitting is quitting trading and looking for another job. However, people who are experienced in the world of trading will most likely stop when they see the potential for something that will benefit them, or they will stop temporarily to minimize risk. In this case, some people call it a strategy in trading, stopping for a moment to see market movements before starting again.
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you ever feel tired of waiting? on: October 13, 2023, 12:20:27 PM
whether you can afford it or not, if you focus on the world of crypto, then you have to do it to get big profits. However, you need to do another job or build another business that will make this wait less painful for you. I understand how to expect something that we need to wait for a period of time that we don't know, but there are quite a lot of other alternatives that we can do. Maybe we really think about the assets we have, and are afraid we will miss the moment. Because of this, you need to manage your time, and use notifications when price changes occur, which are sent to the smartphone you are using. However, the way to avoid boredom is to focus on something else for a while.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Digital Real Estate: Is it worth it? on: October 13, 2023, 01:07:27 AM
We don't know for sure what the future holds for digital real estate, but I also think that this is similar to what happened with NFTs, which only moved up because of the hype and might be abandoned later.
However, if one's goal is to invest in real estate, it would be great if it were real. What I mean by that is that he actually has ownership of the real estate and can use it offline. Maybe there are some people who think that this is a good investment and maybe they can take advantage of it, but for investments like this, I tend to choose to invest for real.
296  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade only Bitcoin on: October 11, 2023, 11:00:44 AM
Well, if you want to trade with minimal risk and plan to hold for the long term, then Bitcoin is the best decision. However, one of the reasons why people choose altcoins in trading is because the price is more affordable, as well as the fluctuation rate is faster and perhaps higher than bitcoin. This makes people choose to trade or hold altcoins for a long or short period of time. However, personally, if I wanted to do it with the least risk, then I would choose bitcoin, especially if my goal is long term.
297  Economy / Economics / Re: Agriculture vs oil on: October 11, 2023, 08:29:03 AM
You pose a false dichotomy, especially since agriculture today is highly dependent on oil. Fields are tilled with power tillers or tractors, grass is cleared with weed cutters, many crops are mechanized, like modern olive harvesting which is picked by machine, many fertilizers are derived from oil, etc. Without oil, agriculture would not have even 20% of its current productivity.
Yes, we know that Middle Eastern countries have one of the largest sources of income from oil, and the developments that have occurred in Arab countries are fantastic. Meanwhile, there are still many less developed countries that depend on agriculture. Even though both are very important, the development of oil business seems to have a faster impact than Agriculture. And I really agree that nowadays almost everything is done with technology, and machines, even Agriculture, and it all requires oil.
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodling vs trading on: October 11, 2023, 06:04:49 AM
Basically, holding and trading have clear differences in nature. Holding is an asset that you store in a wallet or safe place that you own for a certain period of time. Meanwhile, trading is a buying and selling transaction that you carry out within a short period of time.
However, the nature of holding is holding for a certain period of time, while the nature of trading is buying and selling. Holding can change its nature to trading when you have bought and sold. Even though there are many similarities, this is a matter of the nature of the words they have and also how you treat your assets.
299  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Is Better Than Digital Gold on: October 10, 2023, 09:22:34 AM
Well, even though bitcoin and gold are both types of investment, I think comparing the two is quite difficult. If you want to compare bitcoin, then look for investments that have digital properties, and if you want to compare gold, then look for investments that have other physical properties. that would probably be fairer.
However, in this case, I would probably be inclined to choose gold. that's because gold is an investment that is not affected by inflation and has been proven to last from year to year, while bitcoin is a new type of investment that is not hundreds of years old. It's just that, I'm more inclined to use bitcoin for now, and haven't focused on gold. I will probably focus on gold when I have successfully utilized bitcoin, as well as gaining financial freedom.
300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My regret for not adopting bitcoin earlier. on: October 10, 2023, 08:18:38 AM
Well, sometimes opportunities come right before our eyes, but we don't realize it. I think, very many people have stories like you have. Even people who had entered the crypto world and started adopting bitcoin at that time, have regretted selling their bitcoin too quickly. However, it can only be used as a lesson for what will happen next. We must understand that not everyone will take that opportunity, but we need to try to take the next opportunity.
