Clear your cache for the site and flush your DNS or resolve your DNS to Google DNS 8.8.8.8 and 4.4.8.8, you may have better luck. The site is confirmed online and CloudFlare is working as normal.

Hallo, wie ich einigen aktuellen Nachrichten entnehmen kann, bricht aktuell die Bitcoin-Hashrate in bedeutenden Größenordnungen zusammen, weil viele Miner den Dienst einstellen. Naheliegenderweise sind das vor allem die vergleichsweise kleinen Miner, da diese weniger rentabel arbeiten, als die Großen. Damit ist eine Konzentration der Marktbeherrschung verbunden, so dass die großen Miner einen größeren Teil der Hashrate auf sich vereinen, als vorher. Wenn ich eine dieser großen Miningfarmen betreiben würde, wäre spätestens jetzt mein strategisches Ziel, über die 51% Hashrate zu kommen. Ich habe keine Ahnung, was sich hinter den Namen da im Einzelnen verbirgt, aber hier sieht man, dass es Player gibt, für die dieses Ziel mittelfristig realistisch erscheint, wenn weiterhin kleine Miner aufgeben. Was passiert dann? Wenn ich die 51% erreicht hätte, würde ich den Bitcoin in Geiselhaft nehmen. Natürlich würde ich nicht sofort meine beste Kuh im Stall schlachten, aber ich würde sie bis zur Kotzgrenze abmelken, weil ich ja die Regeln bestimmen kann. Also würde ich meinen eigenen Profit maximieren, in dem ich die Reward-Rate hochdrehe. Anschließend würde ich sicherstellen, dass meine Kuh noch lange lebt. Das Halving 2020 würde ich zu einem Doubling 2020 machen und langfristig würde ich die Maximalgrenze von 21 Mio Bitcoins aufheben. Wie seht ihr das? Ist es realistisch, dass ein (oder zwei Miningplayer in strategischer Partnerschaft) die 51% Hashrate schaffen und die Regeln des Bitcoin nach eigenem Ermessen verändern? Was würdet ihr machen, wenn ihr eine große Miningfarm betreiben würdet? Ich bin mir sicher, dass dies so von Satoshi Nakamoto nicht vorgesehen war, und er sich deshalb in diesem Detail geirrt hat. In eine solche Machtposition rutscht man eher aus Versehen. Wenn man versucht, die Macht zu missbrauchen, verliert man alles. Deshalb wird es wohl keine aktive Zerstörung durch die Miner geben. Außer sie werden von außen durch "incentives" dazu ermuntert. Wäre ich in dieser Position, würde ich meine Macht freiwillig reduzieren, indem ich die Erträge in andere unternehmerische Bereiche diversifiziere, und wenn es nur Aktien sind. Einfach weil alle Zentralismen die Vorboten eines Niedergangs sind. |

Von den Veteranen? Das ist dann gelogen... Die Veteranen spekulieren nicht, sie hodln. Wer hodlt, der spekuliert auf ewiges Wachstum, und liegt deshalb mit Sicherheit daneben. Das meint makrospex wohl nicht mit Veteran. Smart Money verkauft auch, wenn der Anstieg absurd erscheint. Es ist einfach Rebalancing, die Anlagestrategie für Ahnungslose. Und wahrscheinlich deshalb erfolgreich, weil man damit dicht an der Realität ist. So ahnungslos wie die Tier- und Pflanzenwelt, weil der Mensch selbst eine Tiergattung ist. Eine Belohnung für die Akzeptanz der Realität sozusagen. Auch wenn Raffelhüschen ein übler Versicherungslobbyist ist, im Video kam er mit seinen Ansichten äußerst human daher. Ich selbst habe meinen ersten Bitcoin (nach dem Absturz seit Dezember) auch direkt vor dem Absturz der letzten Tage gekauft, im Portal von "The Naga Group", dem Hamburger Unternehmen. Aber da ist noch Potential für weitere Käufe, egal wie tief es noch fällt. Investitionen und Spenden sind für mich austauschbare Begriffe. Ich teile mein Vermögen grundsätzlich nur mit dem, dem es schlecht geht. |

Try it again, some were having issues with CloudFlare, maybe try a different IP, it loads fine for me and we haven't had any downtime with the site. Tried different VPN, and without VPN. Tried different Browsers. The result is all the same: Cloudfare says "Host error". It's working on my Android Smartphone with TOR VPN, after solving the captcha. |

That seems like an OpenSSL error, 18.04 is not supported, 16.04 is recommended, if your compiling the QT you need to modify the QMAKE flag in the denarius-qt.pro file from c99 to gnu99
Changing the "c99" to "gnu99" did not help, the error keeps the same. |

Any updates on the markets? Glad I didn't have any in Cryptopia.
There is almost no buywall on https://btcpop.co/Exchange/HBN . Well some at 13 sat Seems like nobody needs hobonickels , as there new exchange and no buzz around the coin .. price has no meaning as long as hbn cannot be withdrawn or deposited. Sure , I was able to deposit , but not able to widthraw 2k hbn . What is the experience of others? btcpop lost some coins from running its wallet on a fork, so they have locked the withdraw. This is also the reason, why others do not create buy orders. A coin, that I cannot withdraw, is useless. |

I have no trust into the current bytecoin dev group, but I could not prove it it a scam. You can have a distinct opinion about it, of course.
But if you monero folk go on with manhunt here, you will destroy monero, not bytecoin. And you will produce collateral damage for sure. No single human on earth is important enough to destroy him.
I heard about a bounty on the head of Satoshi Nakamoto, to indentify him. He was right to leave, and they are wrong. Let him alone!

well at least he communicates. better than the 'major' exchanges by far. btcpop is on it's start, and so he should build confidence, and not locking the account arbitrary. And aside from this, he is a speculator: I'm a server admin, and know how many clicks I have done on every button. |

I made some successfull withdraws from btcpop. But just hbn did not move (it's only a fraction). Support says, it's on the chain, and I cannot see it. Can somebody test a withdraw? With a very small amount, please.
Previous quote was the first try which never withdrew, few days later I tried to withdraw a second fraction (unsuccessful), with the result they locked my account. The loss is negligible. I had some contact with the btcpop admin, locking my account several times, and he sounds very "professional", in the way that he seems overconfident that failure is on users side. But this "expert" cannot differ between forks?
