I would even volunteer to help moderate such a sub since I am fairly active. Not sure what qualification is required, but I am somewhat knowledgeable about this subject.
I'm a little unsure whether it could be considered a conflict of interest that you yourself are frequently selling / buying coins. Then again, I'd trust you, so that's probably a good idea. I was thinking that section was discussion only, but if it did have sales that could be an issue I suppose. |

Beware of scammers. I just got a PM from "Blazedout4119" telling me that he accepts my offer, and that I should send the coins to an address he provided in the PM. I can't stand these scumbags.
Dropped a negative on it. They are about out of Blazed names to even try...lol. I check weekly for similar names and drop negs on them! I will be back home this evening so I will post pics tonight or tomorrow morning of the coins. |

The amounts of money that he received are so large that I would doubt that he was actually being paid to post on that thread. Granted, it may have been that this is what happened on paper, however I would find it much more likely that money was being laundered through him and/or was otherwise being used for illicit purposes.
The amounts of money he was making is comparable to how much the Clintons make for speaking publicly, and we all know the real reason they are paid for speaking....
What was the price of Bitcoin at the time though? Was that not back when we were $100? Not defending him at all, but the exchange rate matters a lot. |

Surely i heard these words from issuers alot already. "Dont worry, i make sure you will make your money back", "Ill do anything to make it work". Problem is, i often still waited months later.  So did he say something about what timeframe he means? And what is the hindrance for him in the meanwhile? I will send you a pm and ask you if the second phone number i got from him is the same you got. Well I can not say for sure either way (I like to think that he is telling the truth and will make everyone whole though). I only have his info from a project we were working on last year with a mutual friend. Sebastian - we have different numbers I assume yours is a google voice number or something? We do have the same number - you just added a bunch of numbers to dial it from your country I assume. |

Regardless of the sales, would you care to share pictures of your coins? It would be cool for us to see what they consider a 69 vs. 67.

70 is the best rating they could get, but no Casascius coin has ever gotten it. MS-68 has been the highest grade received before my MS-69 (only on some Silver + Gold singles and a tenth). I will post some pictures up soon for you guys. 4 BTC is the top offer so far. |

Haven't really thought about it much, and not sure it's needed, but a more general PM (precious metals) board would make more sense, and would likely gain more support. Lot of overlap there.
