CanaryInTheMine and MN are spot on; This is a case of a user who spend little time in front of the PC and values to be anonymous.

I have done multiple private deals with JackRilley and have found him to have the means to be good to his word.
I never had any problems when trading with JackRilley - everything went smooth.

Nevertheless, I respect that it is hephaist0s that ultimately decides the rules of this auction.

Ok, in this case I'll take TookDk's endorsement of JackRilley as enough to move forward.

Any future newbie bids will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, requiring either proof of funds, use of an escrow to hold the funds prior to bidding, or at minimum some kind of vouching for the newbie by an established forum member.

My apologies for the mixed messages, I'm scaling a learning curve here.

JackRilley's new bid of 10.5 BTC is the current high bid.

Where did he up the bid to 10.5BTC? His last post said 9.5BTC...

Yes please verify that bid is legit. Normally I have them send some coins to prove it (refundable if outbid). I will top his bid if it is legit though  Shocked

1885  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Physical Bitcoins & Litecoins for sale – UK Based Seller on: December 14, 2015, 07:34:25 PM
I am interested in all of the 5s and silver halfs...
1886  Economy / Goods / Re: Custom Letters from Santa - 10 mBTC on: December 14, 2015, 04:39:16 PM
I'll be ordering two as well for my kids but would also like a small coin or something to accompany it.  As much as I love bitcoin, it does not have to be bitcoin related as I don't think my kids share the same passion as I do Smiley

They send a nice coin with a stand if you pick that option. I just wanted a different something sent with it as we already have the coins from last year. I highly recommend these letters if you have kids!

I like a lot of the Canadian silver coins, but that ugly queen ruins them for me. I wish they did not put her ugly ass on everything  Embarrassed

I should've STFU. Jealous of Blazed's deep pockets!

I knew what it was as well and was prepared to send it with my bids.

OP, can you do as Wheelz suggested and take a photo with your username and date showing with the hologram.  Once you do I imagine bids will continue to escalate.

Cheers!

Nice photo, I should have read further down thread.

So, I bid 8 then....

Just quoting to keep bids straight...so many extra posts here lol.

I bid 8.5BTC
1889  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Auction] Casascius 2013 Brass Half Graded MS-65 (48 Hours) on: December 14, 2015, 12:58:18 PM
.85

Sorry, this already ended with greenplastic's last bid of .83BTC

Bigredbutton - I do have another half graded MS-66 if interested...
1890  Economy / Goods / Re: Custom Letters from Santa - 10 mBTC on: December 14, 2015, 12:55:02 PM
I did this last year and my kids loved it! I will be ordering again this year, but wondered if you have a different coin or item to include? I would like them to get something different this year and will pay any extra needed.
1891  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Price check on casascius 1btc silver and gold on: December 14, 2015, 12:48:32 PM
I would guess around 2.25BTC if it looks clean. If you are not in a rush having it graded helps a lot. You should easily get your grading fees back + extra depending how it does. If you hit an MS-70 then I would expect 3+ pretty easy. The market is slow right now and there are a lot of sellers.
1892  Economy / Auctions / Re: [AUCTION] 2013 1/2-oz. silver Casascius .5 BTC piece on: December 14, 2015, 04:29:16 AM
I completely forgot that this coin was in the first entry on my sporadic, occasional bitcoin blog, in July 2013:
http://object2212.com/?p=1

Mind telling us what you paid for it originally? I hope you got it for something cheap like 1.5ish
1893  Economy / Auctions / Re: [AUCTION] 2013 1/2-oz. silver Casascius .5 BTC piece on: December 14, 2015, 04:00:14 AM
As requested, photo of hologram with date:

I've received a few questions via PM, so for the record:

A) This is the only silver Casascius half that I have to sell.
B) There is not, nor will there be, a buy-it-now price for this coin. The auction will determine the price.

Let's see where this goes!

Did you know what you had? I was surprised you did not mention S2 hologram in auction...
1894  Economy / Auctions / Re: [AUCTION] 2013 1/2-oz. silver Casascius .5 BTC piece on: December 14, 2015, 03:51:41 AM
Most of them never sold for over 10BTC though...only Nubbins can get that high of a price lol.
1895  Economy / Auctions / Re: [AUCTION] 2013 1/2-oz. silver Casascius .5 BTC piece on: December 14, 2015, 02:40:22 AM
LEL. I'm out. This escalator goes too fast.

I wonder if OP had any idea of what he was selling here? I am willing to go a lot higher...so if anyone wants to bid just do it in 1BTC increments and save us all some time.
1896  Economy / Auctions / Re: [AUCTION] 2013 1/2-oz. silver Casascius .5 BTC piece on: December 14, 2015, 02:28:41 AM
Weee..... 7BTC
1897  Economy / Auctions / Re: [AUCTION] 2013 1/2-oz. silver Casascius .5 BTC piece on: December 14, 2015, 02:26:49 AM
For the record I think these coins are overpriced for what they are...a sticker is a sticker  Cheesy

5BTC - let's bid it up to stupid prices either way
1898  Economy / Auctions / Re: [AUCTION] 2013 1/2-oz. silver Casascius .5 BTC piece on: December 14, 2015, 12:21:41 AM
