Just bought 1k DRK. To the moon boys. Yep, it's happening alright...

You tried to talk technical before and pick Cinni apart but you literally don't know a thing that you're talking about it.. and then to call it a pump because you have a soft spot for DRK lol, c'mon man grow up
I saw, pretty quickly, that the technical discussion was going nowhere. The very solution proposed about full anonymity is lacking because there has to be some communication so that the merchant and buyer can meet at the encrypted system running on the network. Anyone can see this. It's just relocating the problem at a different layer. What I said about a browser popup for example is far more elegant and doesn't require bloat or external dependencies. You have the pop up, merchant generates and trasmits the address, buyer transmits what he wants / delivery information etc etc and everything is ok - all through an encrypted channel that comes up on demand (eliminating prior communication) The same popup can also generate a printable or savable invoice in PDF or something. nice, go make your own coin with your own theories behind it and create your own thread, wish you the best of luck now gtfo and move along, go work in your coin, let us work in ours Fair enough.

Devs are making big progress , nothing can compare to this ..
Are you sure? A cinni dev is lurking on a coin that is has clone-like characteristics: Is atcsecure still planning on giving an update tonight for future plans as well as more detailed report on xnodes?
Anyone know?
yes, dev posted this earlier. Sorry but this is going to be fairly brief as I'm exhausted - Future Plans - Finalize Business Plan - Identify key market potential opportunities - Market analysis for high growth opportunities - XC Foundation - Structured Corporate Entity - Android Wallet - Release REV2 - REV2 is a major upgrade to the system, using the existing REV1 code. It will support a decentralized learning trust system and be not only anonymous but have protection against various attack vectors - Post REV2 is Wallet improvements and Working today's the Retail Market Space and Point of Sales and ATM's. A cost separate analysis will be done on this - Wallet Updates to include encrypted IM, encrypted IRC type communications - Wallet Updates to support new applications (will update)[/b] - Completing the Android wallet with the Mobile solution mentioned above -
That is the current high level plan, I will create a more formal way to present this and to keep it updated so that is available 24/7
- XNODE
XNODE is in the wallet, the batch files run it either on mainnet or testnet. Unfortunately I was not able to complete the testing tonight. This will happen tomorrow with a basic user guide on how to set it up
ATCSECURE
So XC says encrypted messages, nodes, applications running on nodes, merchants and points of sales, etc etc. Cinni comes and says the same stuff, minus a bit on the anonymity front + adding a bit more in terms of "invoices" and billing. Yep, pretty similar if you ask me.

This is not the case...try this.
Why try anything else when I'm literally banking on this pattern to make money? Predictable and near zero risk when the coin's value has tanked. I wouldn't bust this thing but you kind'a bugged me by shittin' on DRK and claiming it does half the job and that you'll do ALL the job... I mean ok, I'm all for a good pump but you went full retard.

Are you being impartial? Such a disappointment if not, I actually like your informative posts... P.S. Surely with your knowledge, you can differentiate between a regular wallet vs. an exchange wallet? It's a miner, these are generated blocks / coins. Exchanges don't mine. This is either the largest pool (>50% of the total coins) or the whale miner, in which case the address of the whale miner where he generated his coins is elusive to me but one could probably find out if he searched around the last POW blocks. He should be the most frequent finder of blocks. I'll take a look at it later.

so dev wasnt talking for 2 weeks price went down so badly just to announce he will do sth later (3 weeks) ? What does he do for time he wasnt here and that kinda suspiciuos he was so silent. Dont like that attitude, not investing in and u should dump ur cinnis when u make some profit
go cry somewhere else dude , omg I had 68k cinnis, bought at ~7500-8000 yesterday(1/2 already dumped). Im just wondering and would like to get some answers What don't you understand? Announcements = pump mechanism. Dev lets the price slide Dev buys Dev announces Price rises Dev dumps Price goes sideways/upwards/downwards for a while People are expecting price recovery Downtrend Dev buys Dev announces new wallet client with "features" Price rises Dev dumps Rinse and repeat (Dev makes money) If you get the mechanism and go by it you win along with the dev.

veritasBS don't get frustrated over these haters/sceptics, they will call it a pump and dump regardless of what you say because there money is tied up elsewhere.. but they do not really no much about about what is involved at all.
For the record, my money was tied up in Cinni because I knew this would happen the moment Cinni dev started his engagement with XC. Knowing the pump mentality prevalent it was almost a sure bet: Bought at 5 sold at 10, easy 2x. Could I have made more? Probably. I'm ok with 2x.

All that sounds "cool" but in reality it's just P&D material.
Enjoy your pump... I just had to correct some misconceptions.
Over and out from me.

Dark has it's own technoligy, but if you want to stay with dark, that's your choice. 'c ause dark will never get this private transactions like Cinni will have, i'm talking about communication AND transactions.
The communication part is the (extremely easy) part and the encrypted communication tools is a saturated market anyway. Integrating an encrypted messenger that one wrote from scratch would be like few days top. Making anonymous transactions is not in the same league. It takes months and years. But some people prefer to use these stuff for P&D to blind the ignorant.

I'm a large believer in the entire anonymous market (and I own multiple anon coins) but I'm also skeptical of anything that tries to ride the DRK wave for pumping purposes - so excuse my questions if they seem to be defensive of DRK. The end-to-end thing, that covers everything, is always impossible. For example, how do you meet in the encrypted communications system with the other party that you want to transact with? Obviously the meeting in this system must be setup OUTSIDE of it, aka the non-encrypted world - so you leave a trail there. If I have to tell you in MSN or Skype "yeah let's go over the wallet messaging to talk", it's over. If I email you, it's over. If I text you it's over. Etc etc. The only way to go around it is if we meet person-to-person in which case we don't even need an encrypted communication channel for the next phase. We are already in good privacy. The practical alternative is what I described earlier with stuff like the website and the popup, where an on-demand encrypted communication channel opens up during the transaction. => You go to a website, surfing with TOR or TOR-equivalents, to buy stuff with Darkcoins...
At that point the merchant must give you an encrypted channel where he can send you the address to pay to and where you can write where you want your stuff to be delivered / notes on the merchandise (I want it pink) etc.
What is more convenient? To open a popup in the browser which provides that encrypted channel for these details, or to say to the client "open your wallet client and I'll open mine, my id is Nick432 come and message me". This is like meeting in IRC. Lol.
BTW, what's with all the pumping and repetitions of the same stuff?

Darkcoin and XC coin only anonymize half of the transaction (the actual transfer of payment). The communication between buyer and seller is left wide open and can be intercepted by a third party. There are ways to mitigate the communication risk however the communication risk to anonymity remains more significant than the payment risk to anonymity. The system being developed at CINNI will use the encrypted messaging system to allow CINNI to become the first ever completely anonymous transaction system.
Eh? There are so many third party encrypted systems to use, encrypted emails, browser plugins that offer encryption (say a merchant wants to generate an address for the client) etc etc. Why is this any issue really? You think emailed invoices and receipts are anonymous?...they are not.Ok let me rephrase to give you an idea: You go to a website, surfing with TOR or TOR-equivalents, to buy stuff with Darkcoins... Lol. Think about it.

Is X11 coin doing anything right, or is it a premine pump?
It's a PoS/PoW hybrid. PoW coins have already been mined, now it went into PoS mode. The anonymity method is "unorthodox" as nodes are trusted to forward the money instead of stealing them - which will be a nightmare to enforce.

what exactly it doesnt, everything Bitcoin have, Litecoin have first all the time...
Like what?
|
|
|
The market is stupid enough to value XC and DRK
What "value" does DRK have compared to LTC? Coins number adjusted, if LTC had 4.3mn coins (same as DRK) it would cost 60-70$. And these, for what? What does LTC offer compared to DRK? and developed coin
What exactly have they developed?
