I'm using AMD here which works out of the box, it's probably another --opencl-platform for you

Hey folks, just a short heads up my US node crashed and my auto-restart script didn't catch it fast enough, so there was some loss of hashrate on the pool, to compensate I've put fees to 0% and 20% bonus for the next 12h on https://etc.suprnova.ccScript is now fixed, thanks for your understanding ! Oh and BTW: why did noone tell me the ETH diff was still shown at some places, this is now fixed too Nobody wants free coins? Still some left... Grab the Bonus Bonus ended now, I'll start a new bonus round soon as there are still funds left from the first round. Still 0% fee though, so hop in and mine for free. I've bought over 1000 ETC for bonuses and still have about 650 left... next 20% bonus coming very soon, get your miners ready.

Price of ETC dropped for more than 20% in one day. Currently ETH is more profitable and i will stick to that mostly because its more stable atm. Later who knows, maybe i will switch to ETC if something comes out if it edit: and price is back again..... that was the point , to unstable atm
I also stick most of my mining power to the ETH. The ETC pools are not very reliable. I got high rejection. Try mine pool, now i have over 20 blocks in a row with no uncle, it have to be very fast Ethteam.comIt is OK to mine in a small pool when not many people notice that. I mine in big pools, the rejection is very high due to attacks. I have similar experience. I mined the nanopool for ETC, I got 25% of the rejection. It seems the DDoS protection is not ideal. Try https://etc.suprnova.cc - no problems

Hey, I've closed my ETH pool because I don't support mutability blockchains or better "censorship"... Code is law and should be law, so I think I'd be the LAST person on the world attacking the chain, I'd rather set up a 0%fee counter-attack-pool ...

cpu coins are mostly mined by botnets, making them very unprofitable to mine by normal people. HODL "solved" the problem by making mined coins locked for a one year term.
Thats a popular theory but I have not seen much evidence. Hodl was not trying to solve a botnet problem but to reduce supply. They ended up making things worse for other reasons but botnet was never a problem It's a popular theory because it's true. Otherwise how do you explain a huge number of small miners mining at huge loss because the cost of electricity is many times higher than income? Hodl didn't want to reduce supply: in fact they didn't because the coins are there but locked. They didn't want people to mine and dump. And guess what a botnet does? Actually all they wanted is to stop emission of more coins and they just faked a vote with their majority of the coins so that it looked like "the majority" voted for it. THEY wanted it and thats where they went. They (FreeTrade) deleted several posts of me in the HODL thread and i've seen other (negative but true) posts deleted as well. First they wanted to keep pools running but surprisingly the getblocktemplate call didn't work after the fork anymore, hmm weren't they testing on testnet ? In my eyes it's just a little, worthless scam, nothing more.

I have added support for the "old style" eth-proxy (Dwarfpool style).
In case you're still using this python thing and don't want to change over, use your username.workername as your wallet in the conf file and as host: etc.suprnova.cc Port 2222
In Short:
Wallet: suprnova.1 Host: etc.suprnova.cc Port: 2222
Let me know if you have any issues.

is there a mandatory update to a certain daemon or is the "old" branch still valid.. never change a running system

my mining earning from etc is (average for last 4 days) ~0,00016btc/MHs/day (calculated price 0.0025/etc)
it's better than eth.
ETC is the most profitable coin to mine according to https://www.whattomine.com/coinsagree, but it's not accurate due to pool attacks, net hashrate fluctuation etc. somebody said that mine too little .. but i think that whattomine is right There are no "pool attacks" Whats that ?!

I'll be stopping the stratums @ esp.suprnova.cc this sunday, please move over to other pools or solo mine until then.
Also please withdraw your remaining funds !
thanks

I'm not sure which stratum variant claymore is using for Sia .. doesn't seem to work with mine though :-(
Currently I use an easy Stratum version, it's similar to HTTP protocol so it's easy to implement (must be easy to implement on pool side too). My miner does not use sgminer code so it takes me long to implement your Stratum version. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1433925.msg15727385#msg15727385I would love to use this miner @ suprnova's pool. It would be nice if you could make that happen ocminer, your pool would benefit highly with all the extra hashpower from the eth(etc)/sia miners using the perfect Claymore's miner, no doubt! For now I have to use another pool, but I would like to go back to yours! I'm looking at it, unfortunately there is no source, no documentation so I have to do some rev engineering again... A pity that there is no consensus with those protocols.. maybe we should start a "pool consortium" and find a common way of writing/integrating stratums...

Is it under attack? When I ping it, 25% time out. When I mine at it, lots of rejections. It is difficult to mine ETC now.
No problem here, to which host/port are you mining ?

Does this work with ETC im trying to set it up on supernova but to no avail.. lol.
I've put the command in the header, it's working fine: ethdcrminer64 -epool etc-eu.suprnova.cc:3333 -ewal suprnova.1 -epsw x -esm 3 -allpools 1 -allcoins 1 I'm not sure which stratum variant claymore is using for Sia .. doesn't seem to work with mine though :-(

I have requested Genessis Mining to run my contract for ETC.
Hi XXX,
We are sorry, but we are mining ETH at the moment. If we change that we will inform our clients.
Best regards, Jordi Genesis Mining
My reply
ETC is the original chain that we have a contract for!
You can mine my simply pointing your miner to: https://etc.suprnova.ccGet your Rigs @ https://www.nicehash.comor http://www.miningrigrentals.com
