It's becoming increasingly obvious that Bitcoin is under attack by members of its own community.

I began noticing some serious infrastructure changes in the Bitcoin.it wiki in October and it has been an evolving thing since then.  I absolutely think MidnightMagic and other major players in Bitcoin are actively working to destroy our investments.

The "we are big enough that we don't need *you*" mindset is absolutely going to destroy Bitcoin Core.

If you can't buy an 8th of weed for $40 because the fee to pay the vendor costs more than the bag of pot... there is a issue for sure.  Personally, I believe there is an issue if Bitcoin can't be used in vending machines.

Pineapple fund is now dropping BCore Coin as well... they make million dollar donations to charity and they can't even use BCore Coin due to fees.

https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/7lnu9w/pineapple_fund_update_homes_in_haiti_education/?st=jbmj0xiz&sh=1a425cb9

This is the second charity in two days that I've seen drop Bitcoin Core in the past few days.

Pale Moon also stopped accepting donations as well. https://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php?t=17826
2843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoincash now is 3rd in CMC do you guys BCH can overtake bitcoin in future? on: December 25, 2017, 06:21:19 PM
I no longer accept BCore Coin without an additional $200 fee.

Bitcoin Cash is Bitcoin as far as I'm concerned.

BCore has been privately under attack by its own community since October when the Wiki came under attack by MidnightMagic.

Bcore is being dropped by services and charities all over the internet.  Pineapple Fund recently dropped Bitcoin Core as well.  (https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/7lnu9w/pineapple_fund_update_homes_in_haiti_education/?st=jbmj0xiz&sh=1a425cb9)

When you can't even give away something that is supposed to be money... you have a problem.
2844  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: December 25, 2017, 04:23:15 PM
Bitcoin Core is trash at the moment.

I've still not received two withdraws that I've had pending for FreeBitcoins.com customers for DAYS.

Super frustrating that CoinPot isn't doin what they are supposed to.

We are dropping their entire affiliate network from our website after the holidays.

More important is: Why PoM is still sitting in jail in Thailand after years?

He's fighting being extradited and they have the funds atm.

I really pray PoM can slip this  Undecided.
2846  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 25, 2017, 04:17:01 PM
so every shitcoin is pumping hugely but BTC is only moving slowly. What the fuck, all of a sudden BTC is shit or something.

You should actually try to use Bitcoin and make your own decision.
2847  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Looking to buy old empty Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin addresses! +$29 per addy on: December 24, 2017, 03:04:31 PM
oh damn lol. hopefully btc rises by the time the issue is fixed.

We are currently experiencing dig payment delays due to Poloniex not crediting deposits.

I've personally opened a support ticket with Poloniex and I fully expect this to be corrected shortly!

Please continue to dig as normal with full confidence that we will process your dig as soon as possible.

The FreeBitcoins.com team will be working over the holidays answering support tickets, processing payments and working on the backend of our website!

PLEASE NOTE:  Bitcoin Cash only digs that have a payout larger than .0005BTC are unaffected by delays.

^

I've been awake all night waiting for Poloniex to credit the coins... deposits go MIA on Poloniex fairly regularly.

My computer can basically type in my support tickets at this point Cheesy.

If they credited deposits after 6 confirmations like they said... I'd literally have a stroke.

The VAST majority of the pending time waiting is Poloniex related and unavoidable with a manual or automated system that centralizes through their exchange.
2848  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Looking to buy old empty Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin addresses! +$29 per addy on: December 24, 2017, 02:59:36 PM
getting kinda behind in payments there lol. guessing they all have to be done manually?

I'm going to have to link this thread in my "to update" list.

I release news earlier this evening about payments being delayed due to Poloniex not crediting deposits.

I've opened a support ticket with Poloniex as well.

If they don't fix the problem in the near future... we will switch to a different method.

These high Bitcoin fees make everything MUCH more difficult.  (There are a double BCC dig several BCC pending as well for a micro amount and Coinpot.co hasn't honored their withdraw either yet.)

I believe the holidays are playing a roll in the delays as well.
2849  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 24, 2017, 02:36:42 PM
I'm all for a block size increase to 2mb. I just think that 8mb, as proposed by BCash, is too much, and will create more problems in the future, such as centralized nodes.

I agree... start slow and move up.

Just do something.
2850  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 24, 2017, 02:32:52 PM
Don't be trying to act as if you are some kind of enlightened one and you are appealing to Satoshi's original vision with your attempts to impose your own values about what bitcoin should be.

I'm just trying to use Bitcoin... the only one acting is you.

Bitcoin has evolved into something that you seem to not like, and it is being worked on.

It's not working... it's fucking losing steam because of people like you.

I'm not exactly sure what you are playing at, but you talk about how it's working out of one part of your keyboard and spam attacks on the other part.  I agree with you on Bitcoin being attacked.

If you do not like bitcoin, find some other thing to invest in.  I am not sure about what your supposed point is to come into this thread and to spout off patronizing nonsense, as if you supposedly know something that others here do not.

Don't worry about my investments... lets worry about our investment.

Our investment is working like shit right now.  I think investors should be aware because a lot of peoples coins never move off Coinbase sadly.

You are merely a party pooper and a negative nancy, who  focuses on some narrow construct attempting to impose your values onto other people and seemingly out of touch, for that matter, too.

Hardly the truth.  I'm as happy as anyone else about all this new wealth introduced into Cryptocurrency, but I'm not so happy that I'm going to be blind to getting robbed through fees... be it miner spam, Verr spam, Verr friend spam, lulz teen spam or anything else.  This is peoples money we are fucking with and when you make it a bitcoin for people to get their money... well... you get fucking Bitcoin Cash.

Satoshi would not have wasted his time answering such a question if it was not in his original mind frame.

Great quote from that link too "If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry."

I mean that link alone says more than anything I could or would ever need to say... something needs to change to regain market confidence in my opinion.

LOL good one!

Or fucking Poloniex  Lips sealed

Not sure why the price is going down... $40 fees are the future.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I am bullish in Bitcoin fees. Now I just need to find where to trade some futures for it.

Price goes down but fees goes up. This is the future of money!

Actually fees are going down atm.

Even if they do go down... the trust and faith are gone from a lot of users with the way things are set up right now.

Something needs to change in my opinion.

If Bitcoin can't be used economically in a vending machine... there is a problem.

Why is Bitcoin price going down in price?  It's clearly the future with an average of $40 transaction fees... lots of confidence in the market I'd say.

<snip of Archer picture>

let me guess, it's friday night end of week before christmas hols and you hit the bottle early ... dropped some pills and bubble the bong, your missus has hit the hay without you and your holed up in the man-cave nursing a serious buzz on your own and it's getting late for your age ... so you hop on-line and look around for cats to kick to let off some steam??

Wrong.

I paid $165 to send $181 and I'm here to kick cats to blow off steam off over that.

Bitcoin Core wallet gives the same estimate for 2 block fees as 7 day fees  Roll Eyes  I'd imagine this is due to the miner's manipulative spam for profit.

The "faucet" industry is taking a POUNDING right now... FreeBitco.in is having payment troubles because of all of this and Coinpot.co is as well... I'd imagine there is going to be a flood of pissed off little gay faucet users shortly.

All my numbers I've posted are real.

You are the one that is grossly full of shit <3.

I'm going to end this conversation with you at this point.

Good luck with all your shit posts and I pray that people can see through "you peoples" shit.
