I was watching the tape and it was really wierd. Trades going off in intervals and long periods of virtually no volume, and that huge gap. Almost like gox getting ddosed.

So you say. I think that was the market being tested. And the market kicked back harder.

IT didnt go down because someone dumped - it went down because all the buy support was removed. Eventually the support appeared on Bitstamp, and finex had to follow. Stamp became the leader.

It seemed to me that half the dump was a single entity washing trades downwards.

I think Stamp has been the price leader for quite awhile now.  Which is ironic because it’s volume is so low, but at least the volume is organic.   Bots don’t give you price leadership.  Especially not arbitrage bots.

I think Friday was catalyzed by some kind of failure with the Bitfinex trading engine so it's hard to match that kind of momentum without that still going on.

That doesn't make much sense.

FWIW he’s a good poster and I respect him but I think he’s running away from the Friday issue. And that is we took a beating on Friday but the market didn’t blink.

Anyway looks like we are moving up now which is good.

Fridays low is absolutely the key to all this. Avoid going near there and we move up.

I think you don't get it. It's a Gödel theorem thing. If the price doesn't pass 24.777K you never win, since you have to wait forever to prove that you are right.
If bitcoin collapses you lose too, since it would meant that you were allowed to bet on an infinity numberof winning dates, that would be incorrect.
