When you look at their goal stats, isn't it crazy how this team is ranked no.1, has not lost a single game, has the best defense in the league and pretty much the worst offense from all those teams at the top. I don't think there was ever a situation in the league similar to this one.

The thing is that this defeat came as a surprise even for the pessimistic people. I know that Chelsea can't be relied upon as it has been like that for a while, but how on earth could they lose this game like that? Quite impressive that Pochettino is still there. Xavi Hernandez since he took over the managerial position at Barcelona has significantly improved the general performance of the team and with what he's achieved so far with the Barcelona squad, I think they're strong enough to challenge for major titles but I think they still need more improvement to be able to challenge for the UEFA Champions League trophy.

We saw a very chaotic match here, in the first half alone there were 3 red cards (1 from Bayern Munich and 2 from Darmstadt), but I was quite amazed at how Darmstadt's defensive performance was able to hold Bayern Munich to a draw even though they lost 2 of their players. Before the kick off I was almost so certain Chelsea wouldn't loose in today's game but I'm at the verg of disappointment with the performance I'm seeing so far, it's even worse to think Chelsea is at home having this experience, I taught for once that were improving after seeing the fantastic performance they pulled up against arsenal last week

You are right, Gavi will not be let go by Barcelona because he is one of the club's long-term future assets. This season he has always been Xavi mainstay in every match and I'm sure Xavi will not sell his favorite player. Apart from that, it is also reported that Frankie De Jong will renew his contract in January, which will close the door for other teams wanting to recruit him.
