2841  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Diversifying Your Portfolio in Crypto on: November 24, 2021, 11:48:45 PM
...So what would be the right strategy of Diversifying Crypto Portfolio...

Regardless of which way the market is moving, you need to keep part of your deposit in stablecoins. And if the market unexpectedly undergoes a dump, in this case you will have a great opportunity to buy coins at a reduced price. In addition, part of the deposit should be directed to the purchase of BTC and ETH for long-term hold.
Having some funds on stable coins would really be not just on making yourself secure on volatility but also you could really able to get in when you do see some opportunities which means its a good measure to have this kind of reserve as always.

Im doing this eversince which i could say that it is really that you could really get in without the need on waiting up for some deposit confirmations
and for those who havent considered this one out then you would really be finding it for yourself.
2842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Metaverse x Gambling on: November 24, 2021, 10:59:12 PM
^

In my opinion, the metaverse was born a long time ago around the time when the first text message was transmitted via Internet and it keeps getting wider and wider every year as new technologies are introduced in online communication process and now we interact in the metaverse which is huge and inseparable. Internet and cryptocurrencies gave a huge breakthrough in this direction and big companies such as Facebook are just trying to earn on this by offering their users the use of new technologies such as AR, VR.
I agree with your opinion that if we look at the definition of the metaverse itself, it is a virtual world created on the internet and can be explored where users are not in the same physical space and even though they are far away they can communicate with each other.
what distinguishes then and now is because in the past the technology was not as advanced as it is now and they sent messages on the internet etc. it was the most advanced in its time.
But now the metaverse has evolved to something more refined with them being able to create tools that can create avatar characters and we can explore deeper either with VR or other advanced tools.
Technology does progress and these kind of innovations or inventions is something revolutionary. It might sound unrealistic on some point but doesnt mean that it cant be possible and now we are really seeing this which would be something that the community would really benefit upon which we could really utilize which is a great thing
and does really have that potential and lets see on regarding with future updates to come.
2843  Economy / Economics / Re: People tend not to move on: November 24, 2021, 09:57:30 PM
...
Reading this, I could not help but think that people also "don't move" in monetary terms. They are born in a certain region and they do not think that their money might very well better in some other form (e.g. bitcoin).

It's some kind of security, false security... the problem many of us face! We have enough for basics and something extra maybe and that gives us enough comfort, risking that for something more can lead to losing what we have now! So we stay where we are... at least most of us who found some peace! But some people are forced to move for all sorts of reasons, and I believe that stats will show that people who are forced can lose a lot more by staying than by moving, so for them moving is the only positive option!

I am thinking about moving sometimes, but it's OK for me where I am now... yes, it could be better, but it's OK now. I guess every place has positive and negative things, at least I learned how to deal with negativities here and stay positive... learning that on some other place sounds like a big hussle! But in a case that something (someone) forces me I will make that decision!
We all have our personal reasons why we chose not to move from where we are right now. It's either we are already contented of what we have right now, or we are just afraid that we will only fail and definitely lose if we tend to move into other sorts of things.

For me, as long as there are enough good reasons to move then I will finally do it. But for now, I'm still doing great of where i am right now so possibly I will stay here as much as I want.
Most cases it would really be on family reasons on where they couldnt afford on leaving their loved ones but on some circumstances on where people do really forces out to do so because the need of money or with needs which it cant really be avoided for you not to consider on going into other countries on seeking off for some job.
We do have our own personal reasons but most of the time we would really be tending to make things improve specially in our living and it would really be needing
to sacrifice but of course there would be some factors to consider.
2844  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥BitKong.com🔥⭐Updated Game V2⭐New Bonuses⭐New Currencies⭐Native Android APP⭐ on: November 24, 2021, 08:51:34 PM
The website seems to be fine but loading time was observed to be high as compared to the other websites of this class. Also, I am unable to find the license-related information. Which in my opinion must be brought on the front. As far as the website is concerned.
It is found very user-friendly good thing is that it has the option of Facebook, Google & apple sign-in options.

They do not hold a license and do not plan on getting one - this is something they have stated numerous times. To be honest, it is not a requirement anyways and for what it is worth, I have never heard about any problems when it comes to BitKong or their other brands. Needless to say a freaking Curacao license would not change a thing at current state anyways.
Agreed on this one which is actually the truth about considering on having a license would prove out legitimacy of a certain casino which had been always a wrong mindset to have or relying with this factor just to tell that a casino is legit or good.

Based up on experience with Bitkong, i havent encountered on any issues or complaints on this one and also their one of the most old casinos on this market
and still keeps kicking on.

The game is definitely interesting which is something that you could see commonly on this market.
2845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: luck or hack? on: November 24, 2021, 07:57:53 PM
There is a question that has been bothering me for a while. In August 2010, Stone Man accidentally sent 8999 BTC to an account. BTC is still at that address. If one day the BTCs in that account move, do you think it's a hack, or is it that someone lucky somehow owns that wallet?

If something like this happens, how will the community react?

Related topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=782.0
Doesnt matter if its hacked or lucky on finding their wallet again for a very long time. Why it does matter? We dont even know if the said owner of that wallet had been still holding after all these years and never intended to move even a single satoshi from on that wallet but as others presume out that this is probably a lost wallet for sure because it could be highly possible that you would be at least having some sell out of those ATH breaking moments that we do have even just on this year.
Why we do care so much?
2846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting superstitions. on: November 23, 2021, 11:19:21 PM
I wonder if there is any superstitious people who went deep on probability and statistics math studies and after that still hold their early assumptions
against reason: probably yes

human nature is really interesting

I've seen all kinds of things when it comes to gambling superstitions
like holding amulets and prayers

nice topic

You can't really underestimate gamblers with a lot of superstitions and even if you show them the numbers, they doesn't care because they believed what they choose to believed.

I think gambling superstitions are more prevalent in Asia, as the people are really deeply rooted in their culture line 'numerology', and they think they can control their luck. But we all know that there's no such thing, everything is based on probabilities, chances and luck.
And we know that there are people who do stick out on what they do believe or think no matter how other people been trying to convince them that it doesnt really work but they dont care at all.
Its true that they would really be pushing their luck out of those beliefs until they would prove out that it did work on just acquiring some small wins but the losses are still more which
it doesnt really make sense on trying to fight out on how reality works but well its their money to spent not ours and soon they'll realize that gambling doesnt work that way.
2847  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop lose trading feature on: November 23, 2021, 10:17:22 PM
It is undeniable that the value of cryptocurrencies is highly unstable. You have no way of thinking that what the price will be. As a result the newbies frequently utilize stop losses. It is a tool that a person uses to overcome the risk of losing money in trading. However. how the user uses this tool is entirely up to him. This tool has the potential to be good but  it has also the potential to be dangerous.
As you say, the stop-loss function can act in both ways, and it is up to each user to ensure they utilise it to maximise their position. It is not that the tool itself is not a good thing, by all means it is great in keeping your assets safe and your mind at peace, and so as with most things in trading or otherwise it is about its use. Many traders I know take advantage of this feature, and I too agree it shouldn't be overlooked.
Its a tool which does have significant use and the positive or pros does outweighs its cons if you do ask me because this do really stops on wrecking your capital in whole and able to stop on wiping it out.

You could only say that it is a mistake or not a good tool is on that you had missed out on making profits if it turns out to have some rebound after the SL had been triggered out.

I had already experienced this one thats why you should really be wise on where you would be putting those stop losses for your benefit.
2848  Economy / Gambling / Re: LTC Casino (ltccasino.com) - most fair crypto casino with highest RTP on: November 23, 2021, 09:20:05 PM
Your website have no KYC policy yet, but what will happen if you guys update the terms and conditions including KYC verification system in near future?
That will never happen.
Oh, the site won't ask KYC info? That's unusual for 3rd-party slots sites. Interesting...
You sure won't get into trouble with this policy, assumed the site grows bigger.
I like how the site is so lightweight and straightforward, we'll see if the site can earn good reputation.
Cant really make out any conclusions yet because we do know that whenever something becomes bigger then regulation turns out to be more stricter which it isnt surprising just like on some casinos today that
after become big and known then they turn out to be asking some KYC which is really that not really appealing on someones eye specially to those who do mind off about anonymity.
We couldnt really tell that they wont really be doing that later on incase they've become big thats why im not really that much confident on any claims.
2849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Shiba Inu Coin a better investment than Dogecoin? on: November 23, 2021, 08:20:03 PM
Neither of these projects have a valid use-case. They are meme-coins. Speculative gambling at best.
I’d be lying if I said I never owned any. But just a few dollars here or there. These aren’t serious projects for real investors. And they probably won’t be around in the next 10 years.

Dogecoin is much better than shiba inu, because Dogecoin is one of the altcoins that is able to survive in all crypto markets. even though dogecoin is called memecoin but dogecoin can increase and develop well every year, and whatever the reason, dogecoin is better than shiba inu. maybe the shiba inu is currently popular, but i don't believe that the shiba inu will be able to survive like dogecoin in the future.
Nothing beats out to the mother coin when it comes that meme coin title which it should suppose to be that way but turns out that the hype is driven off on the community which makes Shib does take a little
bit more hype or shill which turns out to be the result on why its really that SHIB is really taking the lead but i dont really that much confident when it comes to investing to memecoins.
I dont see any relevance when it comes to real use case but we cant deny that Doge had been used up on gambling for a long time which i do see it is much better than on SHIB.
2850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: November 22, 2021, 11:55:43 PM

Donaire may retire soon but he is still a champion and has a better record compared to Gaballo, so on paper, the majority of the fans look at Donaire as the favorite to win. Gaballo on the other hand is young and hungry, but has he proven himself already that he can beat a tough opponent like Donaire? IMO, not yet, because his past opponents has nowhere near Donaire and the champions in the same division.

Grabbalo is a hungry fighter based on what I see in his interviews he is respectful of Donaire's achievement but he has a goal to attain also we'll see after this fight if Donaire wins if he is ready to face Inoue again or finally face Casimero, Donaire is not getting any younger I don't want to see him gets the beating like what Pacquiao received, his career may be rejuvenated again, but this is boxing the body is the first to give up even if the heart to go on is there.
Of course Gaballo would really be seeing this as a good window on much better opportunities if he would able to beat up Donaire into this one considering on whats the current rank of Donaire then
beating him would really be worth despite of the gap behind in between experience which is really that obvious but it doesnt mean that this is an auto win for Donaire.
Yeah, hes already getting old but there are no signs or words that he would retire soon but for now he's still that motivated and eager to have some rematch
with Inoue but of course he would need to pile this one first.

Yes even if he lost this fight but I don't assume that it is he will get more opportunities since he's name will be more known to the boxing fans and how much more if he could successfully defeat Donaire? For sure he's popularity and current standing will increase maybe also the his fighting value will add up after he win this fight. But let's really see this another exciting fight since  what's important thing here is we see Donaire fight again.
For sure lots had never seen for Gaballo to win nor able to recognize when it comes to popularity and lots had been keep an eye to Donaire to win this fight which is likely to happen basing up on experience alone.

He had already proven out his fast counterpunches and speed yet he had gained that title of Filipino Flash which stands on his speed but hes getting old already and been defeated out
because of that change of performance of course because of age which isnt surprising.

Gaballo would really need to defeat if he do likes on improving his current standing or career.
2851  Other / Archival / Re: [POLL] What to expect from Bitcoin in 2022? on: November 22, 2021, 10:57:22 PM
It is interesting to see how many people think a crypto winter like the one we saw on 2018 will make its appearance, I think there are several factors that go against it, but one of the most prominent is the state of the economy itself, back then a great deal of the increase in the price of bitcoin came from pure speculation, however a not so small portion of the current growth can be attributed to investors looking for a store of value, and as long as the economy is in a bad shape this should remain true for 2022, so I expect investors to keep coming to the market as the economy fails to recover according to the goals set by the politicians and their economists.
We wont really remove on someones mind on what happened back in the past which you couldnt really blame off on people to think up this way so its better to take yourself that risk management thing.

Expect the unexpected because this market is always been unpredictable in the first place.Things that happened before might happen to this present or into the future which means
that you do take out actions basing on your experience.

Anticipate for things to happen because not all would really be that precise to happen thats why we do keep on speculating.

2853  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Passive vs seasonal trading on: November 22, 2021, 08:54:36 PM
I am not a fan of day trading since I cannot keep monitoring the prices. I do take the updates every once in a while though.
I personally like swing trading where I just trade once and then keep waiting until the trend reverses.
This I get maximum profits with less risk and no active monitoring of prices.

Yes swing traders are longer time traders that are particular about the trend and few pairs too. This type of trading is stress free and can allow a trader more time for other activities and engagement. But sometimes a good day trader gets more profit in accumulation than the swinger but the swinger has more opportunity of hitting take profit because it reduces risk by decreasing stop loss possibility through the lot size. It just depends on the trading pattern either passive or seasonal.
Consistency guarantee experience and exparties I believe passive trading is OK but considering the risk of getting low profits during trading. Aside the time and stress that will come from getting involved in constant trading it will be passively profiting to dive into full time trading to maximize the advantage associated with trading.
And getting low is something that we dont like which is a common behavior for most people and we do always prefer on having those big profits no matter what means that we would able to take.Passive incomes
is most likely on that part on where it could really be on gradual phase but a little bit amount compared when you do make out some active trades or something like that on which you do prefer on seeing that
rather than waiting for too long just for peanuts but well its up on someones capability on how to trade because not all were really good on making trades and some do really have a hard time on dealing
with.
2854  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino on: November 21, 2021, 11:10:20 PM
It's an easy task who knows luck is there and I can get it, lol
~

Yes. You know what they say, you can not win if you do not play. Therefore, it is worth a shot, whatever the odds may be.

Although I've participated in several Roobet's giveaways, unfortunately without much success. But that does not mean I am going to stop trying, because ... you never know.  Wink
Also come to think off that tasks you would really need to be done first isnt really costing you an arm and leg which you would really be simply retweeting and you would have the chance on winning 500 bucks which it
isnt really bad at all and wont really be using up too much time.Ive also participated this one and who knows right if luck is on your side on that moment of drawing of winners.
One of the things i dont like is wagering contest  yet i know im not really having that a good experience about this kind of promotions but for RT or any other social media
tasks then it would really be easy as pie.
2855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Tax holding back bitcoin from going to the Moon on: November 21, 2021, 10:50:49 PM
Is it possible that bitcoin isn't as bullish as we all expected it to be because of the crypto tax that every price gains is likely to invite as a form of capital gains? Lets the math, what is the possibility of the whales and all parties that are affected by the capital gains which will attract this tax in having a hand to control(manipulate) price just so they stay below the tax threshold and buy time to take out their profits?
I dont see this way because tax has nothing to do with this because adoption hasnt really stopped nor slowed down and this is mainly an issue of regulation and of course taxation would be automatically attached to it which is inevitable i would say and also whales do knows on how to handle of things in regarding on this one.It cant really be denied somehow that these regulations becomes tighter do really makes the situation harder but
it doesnt mean that it could be impossible. We could still make out some cashout without really having any problems on various condition or circumstances but if its something which is really
needed or mandatory then you wouldnt really have any choice.
2856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best odds while playing Dice on: November 21, 2021, 12:01:03 PM
Enjoying dice in my previous years I've been able to play dice and make a profit or lose.
Once I did makeover 100x while playing 10x and increasing randomly after losses, I was lucky enough to hit 10x many time and made over 1 BTC from around 0.01 BTC.

What's your lucky story?

I will lock this thread in 2 days if i remember.
You are very lucky brother because 1btc is a huge amount of money in recent time and in this part of my country. As for I have only made about 230 ripple from my monthly reload of less than one ripple on stake.com site and since then I have not been that lucky again but I do hope that kind of luck will locate me again in my gambling career.
Luck isnt something that cant really be controlled nor be influenced yet each one of us does really have that lucky time but to know on when? Its impossible for you to know.

As long you dont mind on pushing yourself to make profits with dice or any luck based kind of gambling then it should be fine because if you do then you would really lose even more
if you are that unlucky

which would result into hardship on making some recovery from a total wrekt. So you should really be careful on this one.
The.op acclaimed luck was not just in one play of gamble but an accumulated sum of profit so also is my own not really in a single gamble that make me that amount of ripple but accumulated profit and since then I have not been that lucky again. I don't really think dice is a luck kind of game but a skilled base game.
I would like to know on what skill you talk about dice game? This is surely a game of luck this isnt something that you could compare with strategic type of game like poker or sports betting on where you could
actually get some information or skills which you could actually able to gain it as you do gain experience unlike on dice which you would really be needing to deal with house edge
which we know that house do always wins and as long it does exist then theres no way that you could really take advantage of it.
2857  Economy / Speculation / Re: JP Morgan: bitcoin could hit $146,000 on: November 21, 2021, 07:47:09 AM
Definitely Bitcoin will gonna reach that price or even 1,000,000 USD we will just wait. But i think for this year it will be hard for Bitcoin to even reach 100,000 USD, for me the possible maximum price of bit coin is 80,000 USD, in my opinion.
even 10 years ago $80k USD sounded impossible, and probably no one would believe it.
but right now $80k USD sounds very reasonable and even many people believe the price of bitcoin will go much higher than that price. I mean bitcoin is capable of turning the impossible into possible, and in the future 1 million USD will sound very reasonable.
We could only say that just because it did really happen but to those who did really believe that we could go this far and we are almost able to hit that 80k but of course we do need to break that 70k resistance.
For those who do believe when bitcoin was almost had no value then they are the ones who do really make out some enormous profits.Anyone could really make their own speculations or assumptions
about price predictions and this is where people do make out some debates neither argumentations whether its a realistic or non one.
2858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: First decentralized Gambling Platform? on: November 20, 2021, 07:19:34 AM
It wouldn't just be an empty hype if it's open sourced although there would be no much difference between what BetDEX has in mind compared to the already existing Bitcoin and crypto gambling platforms just the absence of the third party interference. But getting a location been Scotland might call for future regulation it would have been far better if it ended in total anonymousity
It is still anonymous if you only know where they based. It's no different from not telling where they base as long as the team behimd didn't provide the team behind. It won't matter anyway if they gained a lot of trust from people even if centralized platform is much better than decentralized in my opinion.
When it comes to security or assurance then you would definitely be having that kind of no doubting the said platforms and since its been trusted up by many then you do automatically presume that it would
really be that safe on dealing with it compared into those so called fair site but still new and havent able to get some reputation and trust. When it comes on being decentralized or centralized
then it wouldnt matter since you do have your own common sense and will to differentiate and would able to make out decisions basing on what you had observed.
2859  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Passive vs seasonal trading on: November 20, 2021, 06:32:44 AM
I think it is based on the preferences and abilities of the trader because there are many traders whose trading activity is not as a main job so they are very likely to only spend a little time, I myself prefer long-term trading because it is more profitable.
But if there are traders who trade because want to pay the bill the pressure will be even greater which can actually make you lose, as well as traders who expect trading income for living expenses it seems they already have their own reserve funds for it, because our trades don't always go well there are sometimes traders can experience stress which can greatly affect decisions and results.
And we wont really be able to find out if we dont tend to try or seek it out thats why real experience does count and choose whether passive or seasonal then its your choice because it will depending or varying
on your trading or investing capabilities and you are the only ones who would able to find it out whether you are good on one or on other.Just like on what others been saying that you would able to find out for yourself
and you are the ones whom do decide on which one because you are the ones will be benefiting it out or would make out profits basing on what you are doing.
Could neither be passive or seasonal its your choice!

Did anyone notice that Dogecoin price decreased. It's going down day by day. Hope it will go to the moon..

Dogecoin 13th position on coinmarketcap!....
5 years after your thread , Dogecoin come to Life with so much return , making all the investors and believers richer and many becomes millionaire because of their Keeping the doge.

so the answer is simple, dogecoin is still alive and kicking .
Does proves out that no one could able to predict the future and supposedly Dogecoin was just indeed a meme coin in the first place and totally a joke but still there are people whom do trust it and keep hold of it after a long time and its true that there are lots who had really made off some serious profits in particular timeframe as this coins price had really made some serious bump specially it had been hyped by Elon and now its price
is still significant and made out still profits to those who had made out some early entry when it was still cheap. No one knows actually on what will happen and to those who had risks
out did really make out some benefits.
