2101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots is More Likely to Cause Gambling Problem on: June 10, 2022, 05:46:53 PM
A question to slots players out there, have you ever felt the uncontrollable urge to gamble after exposing yourself to slots games for a long period of time?  How did you manage to keep sane after being exposed to the most addictive gambling game in the industry?
I would be lying if I answered "no". Almost all gamblers feel that whether intentional or not, uncontrollable moments are a normal feeling for every gambler especially in playing slots. Slots are designed to intrigue the curious to get a much larger multiple of what is shown in the title and thumbnail. Indeed that is the purpose of the casino so that you are always curious and keep putting money into it.
As a business then you would really be thinking on different ways or methods on  how they would be hooking up players even on means of those good or catchy thumbnails which
i could say that it is really that effective plus having those big multiplier kind of advertisement which you could possibly hit on playing slots then thats do really adding up the
interest and curiosity thats why we do really ending up on trying it on our own and do lose up in the end if you arent lucky enough. We know the odds and chances of winning slots
where it is really low and when your emotion burst up then this is where addiction starts to come out.
2102  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Emotions on: June 09, 2022, 11:59:23 PM
When it comes to trading, one's emotion is always attached, there is no way one will trade without involving his heart because it deals with money, that's why most people prefer hodling to trading, because in hodling you are not too scared of the risk involved, you only have to exercise patience till the right to to take your money.
Not only limited to trading but also in other things as well on where emotion would be mainly involved even on our daily lives in terms or comes to our decisions which everything will really be attaching some emotions through it before we do make out some step thats why its not really that surprising anymore that whenever we do commit bad decisions because we do really make our emotion do get involved
on where you do normally react out if something that is out of your plan.Same goes in trading where it can potentially give out those kind common reactions.

This is the most difficult enemy on every aspect especially on finance that's why we need to have discipline towards things we like to do especially on preparation to join on anything which can cause us risk for losing something and if we are fully prepared and been educated for possible scenarios to come for sure it will never be surprising to us seeing how things move especially the market and for sure from the experiences we get we will defy all things bother us if we do trades.
Cant really be denied that emotion is a tough enemy not only limited on trading but also in other aspects as well thats why having some good control and discipline would be the key thats why you should make yourself prepared. If you wont really be preparing yourself then you would really be finding a big problem or cant really something be handled out on long term prospects.
Handle yourself well and all of possible problems should really be controlled on a disciplined manner or else you wouldnt really progress.
2103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Profitable are Gambling Bots? on: June 09, 2022, 10:40:02 PM
Have you ever tried to use the autobet on some gambling websites or have you successfully used third-party bot scripts for betting on sites where it is allowed? Did the bots win?

I do from time to time but even with the best combination or formula, the house edge will always catch you, for me its the easiest way to lose, most of my betting sessions are on manual I like to feel the excitement on every bet, something that you cannot do on auto, on the manual you can change the setting to try to counter the next result, it's more exciting doing this than placing a bet on an auto bet.
Manual is i do always prefer and same as you said where you could really alter out bets if you do see that it wasnt really that good in your bankroll and speaking with thrill and excitement
then having those manual bets is something enjoyable unlike when you are using bot or automation. Its already understandable about house edge that house do always win in the end.
If you do really tend to look on overall wager and gains then you do still lose despite on having low HE and its just typical on the business.
2104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your opinions about fan tokens? I'm thinking to invest in them on: June 09, 2022, 09:47:45 PM
Did anyone note that the fan tokens always recover fast against bitcoin?
Fan tokens like (Santos, Lazio, Porto, Alpine, ASR, ATM, ACM, JUV, BAR, OG)

I'm thinking to invest some money in Binance' fan tokens (Santos, Lazio, Porto, Alpine) because I see them are moving in a side way on the weekly time frame, and recently they have a high buying volume on the weekly chart.

Also they have a low market cap and low circulation supply, and also tokens utilities, besides that they are been backed by binance.

So what are your opinions guys about investing some money in them

Your money, You choice!

Its up to you whether which coin you would be tending to invest on.We do have our own takings and decisions when it comes to our investment or portfolio.
If you do see that those fan coins are having some good volume and movement then go ahead.
As long you could able to benefit out or do make out some profits then that what surely counts and go ahead.Dont listen on others suggestion and recommendation.
2105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minor Protection From Gambling on: June 09, 2022, 08:54:35 PM
I certainly don't think minors should be gambling/betting on any sort of online or in person casinos, but I think a big part of the problem here is the parents themselves.  When I was younger there is no way I could have gotten away with this.  I had pretty strict controls on everything and my parents checked my browser history and what not.  Of course websites should do whatever they can to help out here, but I think the biggest issue is lack of proper parenting.
Parenting is a great or big factor but we know that there's no such thing about 100% parenting which you could really monitor out your kids 24/7 but having some monitoring is really recommended but not all
would really be having that kind of thing because we do have our jobs which means that you cant really able to do such thing but at least you are still that minding about your kids protection from
things which could possibly able to affect them in the future specially with gambling which we know that addiction is something that should really be avoided while its still early.
Make them educated about gambling if ever you cant monitor them strictly at least.
2106  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would you be willing to support anyone who gives the most accurate predictions? on: June 09, 2022, 07:51:14 PM
Would you be willing to support anyone who gives the most accurate forecast of Bitcoin/crypto price?

I mean If you find someone who could make you rich by accurately predicting the price of crypto for you and others to benefit from, will you support such person either by sharing part of your profits from your successful trades with him/her, or in other ways... Will you agree if you are asked to support him/her?
If yes, then be prepared to support him as Bitcoin gradually moves to 50,000 from now onwards, but if you don't support or your answer is no, Bitcoin/crypto could remain stagnant below 40,000.

Are you ready?
Current Bitcoin price 30,000
Im not a fan on following someone when it comes on making out some predictions yet we know that this is something not assured nor precise but lets put up on the situation to be real on having someone
able to have some good profitable winning trades which you do follow and make you money.Hmm i might consider on giving out support but that would really be on such consideration
whether you do see if its worth to appreciate ones work or tips or not.Not all people does have that kind of behavior or gesture on showing off some  gratitude on someone
who had helped them.
2107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever thought of doing your thesis on Gambling ? on: June 09, 2022, 12:00:40 AM
According to this article, the Dutch Gambling Authority have awarded 4000€ to students for two Gambling Related thesis.
Quote
Leonard Delank, a master’s student at the University of Groningen and Newcastle University, wrote a paper on loot boxes; items that feature in many video games and offer players a random reward.
In his thesis, Delank drew on the theories of 18th century German philosopher Immanuel Kant, who argued that people have a moral obligation to do the right thing.
Ultimately, he came to the conclusion that loot boxes are not ethical. For his paper, the KSA awarded Delank €2,500

I think in the paper there were few points that were really interesting, most of the times physicians do categorize the gambling addiction into mental disorder but some might accidentally compare it to the OCD. Whereas it claimed how the gamblers who are addicted are 'too uncertain' therefore should be treated seperate from the OCD patients. Apparently the mentality lied in being sensitive to rewards, overconfidence, overestimation as well.

I think it's a wise article and should be taken as a reference when any medical help is being provided to gamblers and at the same time gamblers should also take a note and understand the psychology better.

Would you ever consider doing your research in Gambling? https://www.gamblinginsider.com/news/16389/ksa-awards-4000-to-students-for-gambling-theses

It's actually a rather interesting topic to get into and there are so many different topics to cover, it'd be an excellent field of study where you could write lots of content. There are so many different emotions involved, habit forming triggers, along with chemical and physical changes in the body that seeks to continue a gambling habit. Any study into the behavior of addiction could lead to new cures or ways to prevent it from taking over peoples lives, hopefully the authors go on to prevent or help many others who are suffering under this affliction which can be very wasteful at the extreme end. Hardcore addicts really do end up throwing their lives away when they could be contributing so much more to society.
But prepare yourself whenever the defend day or due date would happen.Gambling is a broad kind of topic where you should really make yourself ready on answering in regards or in related with
gambling which is something usual on a thesis. Some might think that this scope is just easy but in overall this wont really be that something that could be easily defend with.
So its up to someone whether they would be choosing this topic or subject or not.
2108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will countries ban Bitcoin mining due to environmental concerns? on: June 08, 2022, 10:59:18 PM
Do you think countries worldwide will ban Bitcoin mining due to environmental concerns? If not, why? If mining is banned, do you think Bitcoin will switch to PoS? Will it still survive being a PoW cryptocurrency? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley
You know that certain countries will follow in terms of decisions of the majority. Some might be in neutral or would go opposite but in vast decisions then they would go in line with other countries decisions.

Environmental issues are just bullshit things that they do really throw into bitcoin without even thinking into other things which had been a long time problem in terms of environmental.

This is really just showing off  that they do really hate up bitcoin and now even with the slightest energy consuming issues will really be tagged about being bad in the environment.LOL!
This is on point.
How they would consider this ranking?

 Climate Change.
 Energy.
 Water.
 Biodiversity and Land Use.
 Chemicals, Toxics and Heavy Metals.
 Air Pollution.
 Waste Management.
 Ozone Layer Depletion.
 Oceans and Fisheries.
 Deforestation.

Is this something where Bitcoin do surpass them all.?
2109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Mantra After, while playing And Before You Gamble on: June 08, 2022, 09:59:08 PM
Gambling is about luck and skill not spells, if a spell can guarantee a sure win then of course all bookies will go bankrupt. It's different if we consider skill and luck then there will be results of losing and winning, then what about spells? Will you continue to win with spells? I do not think so. So, spells are really not a factor you will win in gambling, instead of being able to give you victory with spells then it is just about hallucinations.
in modern time which is our enemy was computer, speels totally useless here. it very old and maybe only work on traditional gambling which is maybe this spells helped by genie. but today , where all gambling site use special algorithm  maybe it would not work anymore. the thing we need here only luck factor not anything else.
If you just rely on luck, you should treat gambling as entertainment, there's no other way. However, if you love to have a long-term success in gambling, then you should improve your skills until you become consistent, luck will then only be secondary and you don't expect it because you are more realistic basing more on the probability of winning than luck.
That also depends on which games we are gambling on because there are certain games that don't require skills, a simple and basic knowledge about the game would already suffice. However, if we are talking about those games that needed analysis then skills are a must because that could really enhance your chances of winning.
We know that there are 2 types of gambling games which is pure luck based and strategic ones and its true that it would really vary your winning chance on what type of game you've been playing
but when we do talk about sports then its an another story because we could really able to win if we do make out some analysis just like when we do trades.
Mantra or behavior to be done while gambling or before on doing so is something that wont really be that effective but there are people who do actually
minding off or really doing these stuffs.

Yeah, if we're talking about sports gambling then that really needs the knowledge to have a proper analysis to make enhance your chances of winning. We're not talking about basic knowledge, I'm talking about knowing the recent stats of the team/players respectively to the sports we are betting.
But if we are talking about casino games then that's just a game based on luck and definitely doesn't require any knowledge. Just knowing the basics of the game would already do the trick.
Different type of gambling game
Different type of approach whether you do make out analysis or not.

This is where it do really differs because engaging into something like gambling whether be easy or not.Depending on what gambling game you are engaging with and its just common sense
that you would do all sorts of things to increase up your odds of winning but in overall dont think about making it as a main source of income.

2111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 08, 2022, 07:56:42 PM
The series is going to Boston now for next two games, that means Celtics have their home court advantage but they need to be very careful because they don't have any chance to make mistakes. They need to win both games to keep home court advantage. Now it's Tatum's turn, he can't play bad third game in a row. He needs to have some responsibility. Expecting a good defense from Celtics again.
Yeah, just 8 hours left and we will see game time again. I am excited.  Wink
I think the wall that is keeping Tatum from greatness is just experience. He needs more of it and I am glad they took Horford back because that guy has a lot of experience and could share it with him.
Then, confidence. He lacks it. Whenever Wiggins is in front of him, he soon finds a way to pass it to his teammates. He should try breaking Wiggins or put him in foul trouble if he can.
Despite of lacking out with that experience but still for Tatum overall performance or gameplay then its still really that impressive but sooner or later he would really be realizing on how to break those walls.
Tending to be that scared whenever he's been guarded too tough which there are times that he could handle it out but most of the time he would really be hesitate or in doubt on driving on the basket.
These are only small and inevitable kind of flaws yet each player would really be passing into these kind of situation but sooner or later time will come that he would really be able to overcome it.
2112  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Central Bank Digital Currencies Kill Cryptocurrencies ? on: June 08, 2022, 07:46:58 PM
You have to understand that the current RBI governor is a political hire to act as a puppet for the government. If the Indian government really cared about experience, they wouldn't let Dr. Rajan resign.

CBDCs can't put a dent on cryptos. Killing is out of question. Cryptocurrencies work in a different way and CBDCs are just a digital representation of fiat currency. It won't be much different than the ways we are using UPI nowadays. Don't worry!
CBDC definitely can't kill crypto, because it is just one nation, doesn't matter which nation, could be the USA, the UK, India, Greece, Germany, it never really matters. The only thing that matters is the fact that one nation could be eliminated from the current situation and there will be a lot of people who will end up with upsetting portfolios that mean nothing anymore, or move towards p2p to make it work.

However, if we end up with something that is a bit more precious, then we could end up with a good return in the long run. So, the best thing to do would be to actually end up with a good alternative ready before any of this happens.
Finding some alternative for this year or directly in a hurry wont really be that relevant. Why? Im too confident that there's no way or there's no time that would come in terms of controlling out crypto even or despite
of the existence of cbdc's or something those centralized wont really be enough on taking down crypto. We know on how decentralized market works and even how hard they would make out those bans
then the community would really be still able to make out some other way or path on making transactions without any intervention from them. They both co-exist and serve out
different people who do really needs out on something.
2113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 06, 2022, 11:51:53 PM

Maybe in game 3 we can see a not boring game because provably they adjust and think about do more better defense on their game 3.
Celtics has to adjust, they cannot wait until the 4th quarter and have a big run.
They need to be consistent, control the game from 1st quarter to then end of the game, that way they'll win game 3.

I though in first quarter they will make the life of Warriors hard again but looks like they had beed choked by defensive presence of green and he is one of the key guy that's why they win today.
Celtics had a double digit lead IIRC, but no safe lead for the Warriors as they will come back and have their own big run.
I don't know how the Celtics will stop the Warriors in 3rd quarter, but they need to find a way to stop it.

Their problem is they always get dominated by Warriors and they need to finds way to make better run on early quarter of the game and they actually do that already on 4th quarter in game 1 so they should study those things on how they do that because they could maximize it and find what mistakes did Warriors at that time then find loopholes for them to get advantage on game 3 to win.
The thing i do noticed is that they do able to cope up on early quarters specially on 1st and 2nd on where point gaps arent too wide and here comes 3rd where their consistency turns out to fade
and letting warriors on making out points and starts to lead up big where they are really having a hard time on reaching it out or getting equal. If they do rely on that 1st game
performance on trying out to cope up and tie then its not something  that always happen and they should have stopped that kind of belief.
2114  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bearish market continues? on: June 06, 2022, 10:56:21 PM
The last bear season runs for almost 3 years before the price started to pick up,

Though, I'm not going to believe about history repeats itself but still, I was seeing there is no such easy recovery to be done. Yes, we could expect for months or a year to see the market rallying again. I could presume that we got this scenario till the end of this year.
At least lets say that this will be the scenario at the end of 2022. I know it's really sound bad for everyone, but then again, we've get over the hump the last bear market (for those who have been here), 2018 until after the block halving in 2020. So that's really long, but hey we are still standing was able to survived that long bearish trend. So there's no difference at all this bear cycle again. The same mentally and mindset and the same strategy so that we can be strong and pull through.
Only new fellas would really be having these kind of reaction and perceptions towards the market on having a very long bearish run but for those who had been here on this market for a while
or for a couple or long years then we are already get used into this condition on where it could really run for a couple of years on where price arent really moving that much or doesnt
really make out some significant movement and its true that we are still here and standing on which we are really that waiting for those times where the market will make out some
u-turn or significant move.No one knows on whats coming and on when it would happen.
2115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The digital ID for Gambling on: June 06, 2022, 09:56:05 PM
As kids we had our little gambling games without going on the big stage or casinos. How is government going to control street and school gambling with that if not through enforced law at those centres and not some ID thing.
Wow! You reminded me of school gambling, I have just remembered my high school days,

Yes, well, but online casinos are essentially different from you gambling with your friends. They hook more and you can lose a lot more money, if you have it. Surely with your friends, you bet some change, some pocket money, but betting online you can lose a fortune. There have been cases of minors taking their parents' cards to gamble, which I don't think you did with your friends when you gambled at school.

What makes the casino kind of gambling different from the type of gambling we had as kids in school and on the streets is the enlarged stage of the casino. Another thing is that there is room for cheating in casinos than what kids can do. Back yard dealings from the management and among players too are common with casinos. Apart from that, gambling is gambling. Even when it is done in the church, it is still gambling. You talked about stealing credit cards to play on the casinos, lots of kids then also stole their parents' cash to gamble too.
This simply implies that no matter how hard for these things to be implemented then its never been a precise thing to get rid out of these scenarios which you had mentioned which is indeed true.
Any forms of gambling could really be done on any situations as long it do involves betting. It doesnt matter on what age range you are as long you do make out such activity then it would surely counts.
Minors could still access or  could really still play gambling if they wanted too without tagging up themselves about digital ID or something in related with this idea.
2116  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Price target on: June 06, 2022, 08:42:07 PM
If you want to invest in something then all you have to pay attention to is the price of bitcoin you have to keep an eye on all the time.  It will always be after knowing the value of a coin, but I think it would be better for you to invest.
Invest folks when you're ready and you have money ready.

Do not invest because someone says so because you might regret it if you're impatient and the price drops all of a sudden. Just as the topic, set a price and aim it until it come.

But if you're not going to tolerate and you seem to be hasty and you can't take it. The market might not be for you so stay just as the majority of being a holder.
Set up price points  where you would definitely sell but this is situational because not all would really be ending up on what you had anticipated or expected thats why
its never been a bad idea on making out alterations or changes of plans because not all would turn out to be positive in terms of your analysis and predictions.
Its not bad to hear up others suggestion and idea but its always be depending or varying with your own because following someone or relying on it solely
will really be leaving out that kind of regret whenever you do lost money.
2117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: June 06, 2022, 07:41:20 PM
Yeah, we can see that on their first match, and this time, we don't know if that would be the same or entirely a different story. I'm sure those improvements will be vulgar on their match.
I cannot wait for the day, it's near and the odds of who would like to bet on Donaire for Duelbits is 4.90. Seems favorable and likable for most bettors for Donaire.  Cool

Odds for Donaire is considerable and i can afford on putting up some bucks on it which i do believe and see that he might really pull this one but well its not something an assured thing
but to presume that Donaire do make out some adjustments in regarding his flaws or whats lacking on their first fight which i do see that he lacks some stamina or he gas out much
faster than Inoue which is understandable considering that he's getting old but wont really be still an excuse for him on making it as an excuse yet everything could really be still
improved.
Well, we can look where he's great and also the disadvantage that you think. This is the reason why there's the odd and you can place if you think it's worth to you.
What's important to most of us is after a long wait, hopefully, we're not going to be disappointed on this match. Whether you're for Donaire or Inoue, we want to see how this match will end and it's been so long and just as we hope, there won't be any bad news as the day approaches.
We are indeed here for the entertainment and there should be no hate whether you do choose Inoue or Donaire. Both are good fighters and thats what makes it interesting since
we've seen on how they do fight on their first encounter which is really that interesting and now we are seeing a rematch then its normal that people would be having different
perspective when it comes to both fighters. We do definitely see up some adjustments to be made because they wont really be fighting on the same style after they
had already used it on their first fight. The better would always be the victor.
2118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 'Luna'cy: the crash of Terra Luna on: June 05, 2022, 11:49:59 PM
I don't get why there are still people who believe in Terra, the whole project is dead with absolutely zero chances of recovery.
Because huge amount of crypto investors are nothing but a degenerate gamblers that are into all this to get rich quick and nothing else. They don't care about decentralization, being your own bank thing or whther altcoin have any utility. It's not like we didn't have bunch of examples in the past, like ETC that had several 51% attacks yet people are still somehow hodling (even mining) that. There are other well known altcoins that fail miserably like Luna did. My guess is that one of them will be ADA.

Saw recently the meme that explains this Luna 2.0 situation perfectly

People do really love to play with fire eh? They havent learnt up those past mistakes and losing huge money and now they are tending to dive in once again to deal with Luna 2.0?

How these people do make out these kind of considerations if they do really just based up on past events then i dont see for someone to be fooled twice.
Excuses that they could make money this time? That wont really be that sensible which its just sad that people lost lots of money for just making
theirselves fall for the hype.
2119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: June 05, 2022, 10:51:02 PM
There's no contest that he's the number 1 and the champ. It seems that Donaire is too pursuant and determined and that's why he's confident in telling that he's got motivated and based on his stance that he's going to win against Inoue this time.
All of it is going to be seen within the next few days so there's no need to hurry and we'll see the decision on this match 2.
We have to respect him, Donaire is motivated, then that is good because he certainly needs that to beat the monster Inoue. During their first meeting, it was very clear that Donaire had given Inoue a tough match-up, and Donaire has already learned from his mistakes in the previous fight, so let's see what's his improvement in this rematch.

I will root for Donaire but I would not be surprise if Donaire will lose again.
Yeah, we can see that on their first match, and this time, we don't know if that would be the same or entirely a different story. I'm sure those improvements will be vulgar on their match.

2120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can we do to speed up Bitcoin mass adoption? on: June 05, 2022, 09:56:11 PM
The most important thing to do to speed up the Bitcoin mass adoption is to get the world to acknowledge the importance of Bitcoin and its potential to revolutionise the world.Once it is acknowledged and legalised by governments, people might automatically start buying bitcoins.

We cannot depend upon the governments to do everything to make bitcoin legal and get people's awareness about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
If we want bitcoin to become a global currency, every one of us has to play a part in bitcoin's mass adoption and awareness. In order for us to speed up the bitcoin transactions, we can teach about bitcoin to the people in our surroundings.
Unfortunately without backing from any government of any country, it’ll be hard to legalize bitcoin and provide a massive adoption. For example are countries where they’re government has already banned bitcoin and cryptocurrency on their country. In this situation, the citizen or people has now limited actions to do towards bitcoin or crypto.
As of now, as regular citizens, our duty if we would like to contribute with bitcoin and crypto adoption is to provide and expand knowledge to those who are not literate with cryptocurrency. In that way, more and more people will be able to acknowledge cryptocurrency on their daily transactions. However, for me, government acknowledgement must be the key to a much more wider adoption.
Yes and we know that support isnt something that we could easily see on any place where government does really always have that negative stance towards bitcoin or crypto as a whole
which it isnt surprising that they would really make out some counter measures in related on neither blocking it or making such regulation that would really be that strict towards their
crypto users citizen who do live in the country but at least with having these news and fundamentals which it  could really create that kind of buzz or noise which would
be considerable on adding up some exposure in the market.
