2841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would be the best legal / illegal ways to earn Bitcoin? on: January 15, 2017, 04:07:49 PM
Bitcoin is not a precious metal or something similar whom you need to mine 100 feet deep or climb 1000 meters on Himalayas to get.
It is simply a currency!!
Do service, sell goods, do trading, do mining and earn Bitcoins!
Just don't misinterpret its meaning.

2845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does a President Trump mean for Bitcoin? on: January 14, 2017, 02:42:25 PM
If we are still looking for government intervention impacts on Bitcoin then whats good about it being DECENTRALIZED ?
So far as I think, Trump will going to have no impact on Bitcoin price untill some scholars are going to give him credit for any up/down coz of other reasons.  Tongue
And yes, anyone observed Yobit today? Two coins TRUMP and PUTIN are gaining really good today  Grin Grin
2846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Awareness on Local Level on: January 14, 2017, 02:35:14 PM
Wow!! Happy to see such development of Bitcoin in my country. I was unaware of any such awareness since in my city I never witnessed anything similar.
It is Gujrat, right?
Well we can't blame others for unawareness of Bitcoin at local level. Being the sensible members of BitcoinTalk community, we are ones who should take up this job. Ok! Impressed by this move, going to launch somthing similar in Punjab soon.  Cheesy
2847  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you buy Bitcoins? on: January 14, 2017, 02:07:34 PM
Not everyone having Bitcoin buys Bitcoin. I never bought a single satoshi (excluding exchanges I used sometimes). I usually earn them.
Basic purpose why I take payments in Bitcoin, I now get around 98-99% of my amount to my Bank when compared to 80-85% from Paypal and Payza.
Moreover, it is easy to send/receive payments in Bitcoin.
2848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, is it worth spending time collecting it? on: January 14, 2017, 01:14:07 PM
Is it worth spending time to collect Bitcoin rather than having a daily job? What I mean is that can bitcoin be more economical? Has it ever happened that people lose their investment value rather than benefit from spending it on bitcoin?
The worth of collecting Bitcoin depends upon the way you are choosing to collect it. I think no sane person would ever love to give up his job in order to claim Bitcoin from Faucets. Rather if you are talking about other ways then better compare both incomes. Requires much less of Maths  Wink

Has it ever happened that people lose their investment value rather than benefit from spending it on bitcoin?
If is this add-on to above question then tell me where you are investing in Bitcoin. You are just collecting it. And if the question is general then indeed yes. Bitcoin like any other security may bring to gain or loss, no doubt!
2849  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin has power nowadays ? on: January 14, 2017, 12:54:46 PM
Reasons why Bitcoin has lead over other cryptocurrencies-
1. Bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency invented. Naturally, people first adapted to it.
2. Bitcoin is now being accepted by number of merchants. Other alts may not find easy to establish in market where Bitcoin is already catering their needs.
3. The value of Bitcoin is higher than other cryptocurrencies. The value of Bitcoin enables it to transact a big market. Since all cryptocurrencies have limited number of units so it may not possible for others to cover such large market because of lower value.

2851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and other CryptoCurrencies are Rocking the whole Crypto Community on: January 14, 2017, 07:23:43 AM
From my view, Altcoins are useless untill they are brought to certain uses. More people are adopting Bitcoin since it is generally accepted by merchants, buying domains, hosting and all!!
But Altcoins are mere source of investment without any specific use. So for better future of Altcoins, I must say they are need to be brought in uses atleast performing ones like Ethereum and Monero
2852  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitminer.io real or scam? on: January 13, 2017, 02:48:42 PM
I don't know how people can believe in such cloud mining scam especially with such funny graphics showing you mining on screen.
People have to give up their temptations and start taking Bitcoin more serious.
Well to confirm that site is scam, here's the proof-

2853  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have not invested in Bitcoin when it was 200 US dollars on: January 13, 2017, 02:17:16 PM
When I came to know about Bitcoin and other crypto currencies, the Bitcoin was 500 US dollars and slowly it fell to 200 US dollars. At that time I could not invest any thing in Bitcoins so I missed the chance now it crossed 1000 US dollars may be it can reach its peak of 1300 US dollars like in 2013 or may raise more than 1300 also. Once again it come down I wish to invest this time, I do not wish to loose the chance.
And whats your motive for this thread?
Well yes, you can't predict prices of Bitcoin similar to stock market. All depends upon your luck and patience!!
Suppose you are ready to buy Bitcoin today @ $700 but Bitcoin may fail to cross $1000 again this year then you may find your investment a failure and sell off your Bitcoin whereas it may rise next year even more than $1000. So all depends upon luck and patience!!
2854  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: January 13, 2017, 04:57:55 AM
Yes, ofcourse, all of us believe in fiat!!
Tell me, the Bitcoin enthusiasts become happy one day and sad other day. Why?
All because value of Bitcoin measures again fiat money only. I think bitcoin can never replace fiat money for "Measure of value" function.
However, it can be used as "medium of exchange" , "store of value" , "standard of deferred payment" but only adjacent to fiat money!!
2855  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: January 13, 2017, 04:19:31 AM
Yes, Bitcoin can be used for money laundering without any hassle. The pseudo-anonymity of Bitcoin doesn't allow anyone to look into other's reserve.

But in my country, it is only possible to buy Bitcoin via Bank account. So this restricts non-record of money in form of Bitcoin upto certain limits.

I think it hardly matters, if we are unable to stop laundering via fiat money then we have no right to discourage bitcoin on this ground!!
2856  Economy / Speculation / Re: ➚➝➘ 1[btc]➔$1000 EXpensive or Not?? on: January 12, 2017, 05:56:47 PM
After that the price of bitcoin reached the top for over $1000 a price that is not within the reach of everyone and that lets the bitcoin far from being a universal currency because it seems too expensive for more than 80% Of the world population which can not obtain such a sum even by accumulating all their annual income, other people who have acceded to this currency would say that $1000 is not yet the real price because the real price is much higher than that .
We experienced this situation in the end of year 2013 where the prices reached the same value but with a less number of peoples and bitcoin and the following was the sudden drop of prices which were less than $500 in most of the year 2014 and less than $ 200 in some period of the same year but which has allowed other people to join the bitcoin community , so I wonder if the year 2017 would be the year where we will see the largest number of bitcoin User or low prices or both?

And you really feel price of Bitcoin restrict ppl from buying Bitcoin!!
I don't know if you are aware but it is possible to transact even the 10000th part of Bitcoin for free. Higher prices of Bitcoin are rarely hurdle in its acceptance way.

And also the higher price in case of Bitcoin doesn't drive away demand or present users rather it enthusiasts the new users to start using Bitcoin as lucrative medium of investment!!
2857  Economy / Economics / Re: What is going on, who is selling at these prices? on: January 12, 2017, 01:22:44 PM
Case 1= Not everyone owning Bitcoin bought it for money. Many just work online, get their incomes in Bitcoin and exchange it to cash on regular basis.

Case 2= Suppose, you bought Bitcoin last year when it was $500. You were holding it till now. But as the fear of price decrease, you are ready to sell it now for even $700 !!

You can't stop anyone from selling or buying Bitcoin. Bitcoin is user-specific.
2858  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: January 12, 2017, 11:23:53 AM
Yeah it surely has impact on Bitcoin!!
Since Bitcoin is based on concept of Decentralization.
Thus, its price is based on forces of market i.e. demand and supply.
In case of panic selling, the supply exceeds the demand!!
Due to more supply, law of supply operates and price start falling!

It is always better to hold bitcoin and sell only when you actually in need of money!
Holding of Bitcoin can raise your net worth many folds overtime than selling it for some profits!
2859  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Can we accept payments on previously used BTC address in (new blockchain.info)? on: January 12, 2017, 10:58:22 AM
As far as record of old addresses, I don't know exactly but yes you can use your old address to receive recurring payments.
If you want to use it time and again, it would be better if you save it somewhere else.
However, it is always recommended that you change your address.
2860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Marketplaces in your country/region that accept Bitcoin? on: January 12, 2017, 09:21:45 AM
I think it is still a milestone for Bitcoin!
My country, India is on the trend to become cashless after demonetization. As an impact of which, many payment gateway and wallets (ex. Paytm) becoming famous and being accepted by around 80-85% merchants. But if we talk about Bitcoin, hardly 1-2%.
Main reason: It is difficult to exchange Bitcoin and its volatility.

yep the I in BRICS is for India. there is plans for the BRICS leaders to have their banking structure as part of the IMF's hyperledger, where everything is done electronically (no paper money)

Yeah! We can hope so.
When five major countries like Brazil, India, China, Russia and South Africa would able to do that in next few years then ROW can easily adopt it.
I can just imagine a situation when the whole world will be cashless- A modern Utopian Global Economy.
Well! We can just hope
