Looks like $16.6k is gonna hold (for now).

Yesterday i wrote the same about $18.6k, so i don't put too much weight into my assumption myself Smiley

I'm not into conspiracy theories.. but the mnuchin crap right now looks more than just a coincidence.

Why do every correction need a justification?? The corn was way overbought. Some traders wanted the profits and they unchained the sell off.

Just in case the Mnuchin crap is real... Why dont they apply the same rules to CASH?? Like showing the remaining bills in your cash wallet when you purchase something at retail stores. And asking for detailed info on the seller. I should know who is the new owner of my paper note.  Wink

As some other WO wrote a couple of posts earlier, the rally was losing steam.

EDIT: So i asked my wife to BTFD and she did  Grin Good girl  Cool

Did she? Really? Lucky guy you are!

Now you're tempting me... I've got some spare fiat from a bonus I got recently. About $10k. Should I? Damn!

I'd throw in half of that, and maybe the rest later on, if another dip occurs.
No advice!

EDIT:

I forgot to mention (maybe i did, months or years ago in WO) we have an agreement.
IF she ever loses money through an investment i suggested, i'll refund it.

What is this? A dump for ants?  Cool

Bigger ants, tho...

I'm liking this correction. It was the same last time we were revisiting the previous ATH (around 1150$) in early 2017. Upon hitting 1150 we had a decent correction to 700ish. A month later we were back at 1100$. Five more months and we were hitting 3K and we all know how the rest of 2017 went.

The longer you fuel the rocket the higher she goes  Cool

Yeah, i remember my debut buying at $2,4k. Panic sold the most @ around $2.2k two days later and re-bought again at $2.8k in the same week   Grin

Nice to see Trump wait for Thanksgiving Day to bury the news of the pardon he granted to Michael Flynn

I can't wait to see him try and pardon himself.
Even if it works, that only applies to federal crimes.
He is in a heap of shit for state crimes.  His immunity runs out on Jan 21, 2021 at noon.

I think everybody in politics is just waiting for him to leave the scene.
They'll let him pass. Maybe some day we'll quote "Trump didn't hang himself"?

How you going to pay in BTC if the person refuses to accept BTC..?  Hold a gun to their head?  You cannot assume away the point that I was making by saying, "if you pay in BTC" when you have not even gotten to that point yet, can you?

Of course. However some places do take BTC, yet I've never seen one whose prices are BTC nominated, and don't move with the BTC/USD price. So in reality the prices are still un USD (other fiat).

As long as they use fiat to pay for their supplies, their BTC prices will always move with BTC/fiat. To have truly BTC-nominated prices, everyone in the supply chain has to be BTC-nominated, and, sadly, that's still a long way away...

For now, fiat is a necessary evil, if you want to enjoy your riches. Sadly...

Thread seems pretty dead for beating on a new ATH no?

Or you all to busy crossing your fingers and rubbing your hands together?

Probably a good sign, it means that this is expected in some ways. Real euphoria, FOMO & an influx of noobs will come at much higher prices. We are now where we were in late 2016 in the last bull cycle.

Obviously I’m selling nuttin at these prices.

I don't consider $19k taken for granted, but it's a matter of time (a rather short duration).
ATH at the end of 30th of November would be sweet.

"Bitcoin... Just before making a new ATH."
My next thought was about my brother in law, the roofer and nocoiner that missed out at $400-ish, regretted in 2017 and refused to be paid in bitcoin, by the time it was around $9k this year, for covering the roof of a newly built part of my home. What a shame, he should have known! But he insisted that bitcoin will never go over €10k again...
What a mix of emotions. From mildly euphoric to pitiful within a second.
I can never talk to him about bitcoin again. It'd be like stabbing him with a knife forged of his two biggest crypto fails...

EDIT: Damn, i also just realized that i will likely end up one month late with my ATH choice at the poll  Roll Eyes

There is also the option of not wading around in ice cold water.

 Cheesy

Seriously, it's a mental and health thing.
I trained showering from cool to cold for the whole summer. This is the first time in more than ten years that i didn't catch a cold in october. It's even november and i still wasn't ill. In my worst years i was ill from november until april, many times in a row, with intermediate maximums of two weeks of feeling better but not recovered at all.
2879  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 23, 2020, 06:01:46 PM
I can't even begin to imagine how I will feel when it reaches $100k! This will be the "goal achieved" milestone for me. I will aim to always maintain at least 50% of my coins. Depending on the situation then, my intention is to only sell BTC whenever I need "conventional cash" for something. This will probably result in actually spending very few of my coins, as my living expenses are not too high. For me, a very important element of owning Bitcoin is the psychological factor. Just knowing I've attained "fuck you" rich status is enough. Lambos, hookers and blow may follow, but they are not my aim.

I will be giggling constantly like Skeletor.

Taking an extra 250mg of Thiamine (five times the usual dose) resolved all this within a matter of three days.

After a week i'm on 200mg daily, about to try higher doses soon

Hey OutofMemory, I'm curious as to how you're getting on with your increased dose. Any updates? (asking for a friend)

Hope you're still feeling (even) better.

Yes, increased strength and stamina, and if i overdo things physically, there's less time needed to regenerate.
Yesterday i tried to take a short bath in 5°c water, but i failed because of the pain in my feet and ankles Embarrassed
I knew it hurts, but i can't recall that it hurt that much before, been about 15 years now when i was wading in an alpine fountain. Felt like after a good hit with a baseball bat when i was out of the water. My wife, who joined in, also suffered from some initial pain, but not so much that she needed to get out. She's almost 10 years younger than me, so maybe there's an underlying ageing factor.
I'll try next weekend with 500mg within three days in advance, and i'm already curious if it will help. If it doesn't, i guess i have to buy a pair of neoprene socks Smiley
Overall i'm doing considerably better.
