2861  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs Announces Bulk Chip Sales on: June 02, 2013, 06:39:22 PM
lol @ BFL

What good is BFL releasing a reference design if the reference design is flawed? IE.  power issues/other issues....

"You can buy our chips, but good luck getting them to work!"
2862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [LTC] [ANN] Physical Litecoins by CryptoVest (Coming soon!!) on: June 01, 2013, 11:19:15 PM
A website to facilitate orders is being built as I type this post.  Smiley

I think I am most likely going to use Zinodaur's design, and am expecting to begin production sometime next week.

Sorry for the delays. It has taken me longer to get everything organized than I thought it would.

Thanks for your interest.  Smiley
2863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITBAR FPGA/ACIS PROJECT "included inside each BitBar USB wallet drive" on: June 01, 2013, 11:15:48 PM
Likely scam

The picture of the hardware is actually an ASICMINER Bitcoin ASIC USB (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=195004.0)

It hashes SHA256, therefore it would not work on the BitBar network because Bitbar uses Scrypt.

This is probably just another lame attempt from Trucoin to pump up Bitbar prices....
2864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good bye LTC? on: June 01, 2013, 10:06:11 PM
Yea, Litecoin is dying... it's only gone up 4000% the past 7 months. What a crappy ROI....  Roll Eyes
2865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Get Hazard Banned! [POLL] on: June 01, 2013, 04:37:34 AM
He will continue to make threads of new coins regardless if they survive or not.

Well.. let the idiots that buy this crap be fleeced of their money IMO.

It leaves more of the coins that actually will survive for the rest of us.  Smiley

Indeed, but I can't enjoy the forum when the thread I see is "VaginaCoin" and "WeedCoin".

I stopped enjoying this subforum a month+ ago.

I'm not sure why I even come here anymore. Smiley

Banning him is a little harsh.

I personally thank him for showing how easy it is to change a few parameters in Bitcoin/Litecoin code and make your own currency.

No clone coins/scam coins will be taken seriously from now on, except only by the true idiots.

Only the innovative coins will survive, that will push people to innovate, which brings great things to all of us.  Smiley

Thanks Hazard!
2868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethicoin is coming: Ethicoin's purpose is to improve the condition of humanity on: June 01, 2013, 02:19:33 AM
This will not work..so again, no.

You are dumb... but I could already tell that by your Worldcoin avatar, and your statement just reinforced that assumption.

Please elaborate on your statement "this will not work". Bitcoin has proven that merged mining can in fact work. Unless you hold some secret knowledge that proves the contrary, then your statement is false.

Good day..
2869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethicoin is coming: Ethicoin's purpose is to improve the condition of humanity on: June 01, 2013, 02:06:53 AM
Yay, a merge mined Scrypt coin!

This is what all the copy cat/scam coins of recent memory should have done all along if they wanted to become successful and stay relevant.

Also... this is somewhat similar to Devcoin which I think is a great idea for a crypto currency!

Apart from ZeroCoin, this is the only other new ALT coin I'm interested in.  Smiley
2870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [WTS] 0.001AC for 0.1BTC on: May 31, 2013, 05:13:31 AM
well for one its very energy efficient, and zero mining!

Definitely the most energy efficient coin... it just stole that title from PPC methinks. Perhaps it could be rebranded into GreenCoin or something like that  Smiley
2871  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Experiment] Abstract Coin 0.2.0 on: May 31, 2013, 05:11:17 AM
You should have kept this in the ALT coin section.  Sad

Long live the quote chain!
2872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [WTS] 0.001AC for 0.1BTC on: May 31, 2013, 05:00:20 AM
As an abstract coin owner myself, I'd like to say it's the best thing since sliced bread!  Grin

2873  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Question: MtGox vs. Retroactivity of law on: May 31, 2013, 02:42:29 AM
What changed was FinCEN's guidance in that for the first time their interpretation of the law is that the exchange between bitcoins to and from cash (or other forms of value) are considered the transmission of money and thus, at a minimum, require registration as an MSB.
Does this apply to gold/silver?

2874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Really? Can we get a little more ridiculous... on: May 30, 2013, 10:10:01 PM
Then people will stop mining new alts all together unless it implements a new concept.

People will not stop mining scam coins until there are no more idiots left to buy them.

Anyone with half a brain knows these coins will die, but people come on here to talk them up because they either have a large holding of them or are mining them.
2875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Consolidating Digital Wealth on: May 30, 2013, 06:46:11 PM
This is like consolidating your apples into oranges.

Lol so true
2876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [LTC] Litecoin Core Development Fundraising on: May 30, 2013, 04:14:01 PM
eh whatever, sticky or no sticky, we can still bump it.

BUMP.
2877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [LTC] Litecoin Core Development Fundraising on: May 30, 2013, 03:39:26 AM
I apologize for my tone earlier.. I've had a little bit to drink tonight.  Wink

Enough derailing this thread with such an important purpose.

I believe in the future of Litecoin and I hope everyone donates for at least a little bit. I seriously own less than 1 Litecoin at the moment, but I believe in it will succeed more than any other ALT coin. Even if you're not a Litecoin supporter, Litecoin is important in the ALT ecosystem in the way that Bitcoin is important to the Litecoin value.

I'm pointing my rigs their way for a while. Hopefully it helps.. got another 2Mh while I was not busy arguing on forums. *fist pump*

I'm looking forward to some improvements in the Litecoin protocol!
2878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [LTC] Litecoin Core Development Fundraising on: May 30, 2013, 01:59:37 AM
I give the same respect to others as is given to me. I was quite respectful in my first response to you, but you responded in a trollish/rude manner, so that's what you get back in return.

Ok, I'm seriously out of here now. You are so stupid that I feel my brain cells melting with each word I read that is written by you.

By the way, you cant discredit a completely valid argument, even if the person who gave that argument has vested interest in the subject, because the argument is sound regardless.
2879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [LTC] Litecoin Core Development Fundraising on: May 30, 2013, 01:48:09 AM
I have mining rigs that are down that take priority over sitting here and arguing with you. Also I'd like to play a video game or two before going to sleep for work tomorrow. I have been on these forums since I got off work today for hours. Sorry, you are not special enough for me to waste my time to explain my point to a retard troll like you.

The only evidence needed for my argument is current evaluation of Bitcoin and Litecoin, and how Bitcoin spring boarded Litecoin adoption and value. You are so so so stupid to try to argue against this point.
2880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [LTC] Litecoin Core Development Fundraising on: May 30, 2013, 01:39:36 AM
You completely disregarded my valid argument with comparisons that do not even portray the situation correctly, and asked me questions in a way that they will get the answer you're looking for. Anyone can do that on any subject to get a certain response they want.

Like I said, you're obviously a troll and I'm not going to sit here and argue with you all night, I've got things to do.

If you can't see why this is good for the ALT coin community after I spelled it out for you in a detailed post, then you are dumb.

Troll on sir..
