2923  Other / Off-topic / Re: 1 BTC if you ask me the RIGHT question. on: May 14, 2013, 06:55:22 PM
7's the key number here. Think about it. 7-Elevens. 7 doors. 7, man, that's the number. 7 chipmunks twirlin' on a branch, eatin' lots of sunflowers on my uncle's ranch. You know that old children's tale from the sea. It's like you're dreamin' about Gorgonzola cheese when it's clearly Brie time, baby. Step into my office.

LOL, classic scene. Always makes me laugh when I see it.
2924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Introducing Feathercoin2, a feathercoin fork! With windows binaries! on: May 14, 2013, 04:57:23 PM
Think I'll give FC2 a miss thanks.

What's a Linux premine?
2929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Elacoin | Released | Fair Elastic Scrypt Mining | No Premine on: May 14, 2013, 12:37:40 PM
i have given up on this SCAM.

i got qt-miner working, pointed some of my PS's to it using cpuminer, got a few "accepted" messages in the cpuminer window and a transaction on the status-page from the qt-miner but never saw a transaction on the transaction page and wallet always showed 0

debuglog showed nothing but orphans

That's because the difficulty is very low. One 1 block can get into the main chain, the rest are orphaned.
2930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [FREE PWC] PowerCoin Explosion. FEEL THE POWER! on: May 14, 2013, 07:35:25 AM
Think I'll give it a wide berth thanks.

don't blame him
Who else is there to blame? Perhaps Satoshi is to blame for making the code too complicated for him.

LOL  Cheesy
2932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Official] So what happened to Elacoin? on: May 14, 2013, 06:51:44 AM
Well that's the end of that coin.
2933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Elacoin | Releasing Soon | Fair Elastic Scrypt Mining | No Premine on: May 14, 2013, 06:30:49 AM

This isn't a great start OP, had this coin have launched bang on time, with a Windows qt and genesis block already sorted, you'd have a lot of hashpower on your coin right now.
Because someone leaked the source code.
Who was that?
2935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Elacoin | Releasing In 1 Hour | Fair Elastic Scrypt Mining | No Premine on: May 14, 2013, 05:55:27 AM
I posted that yesterday.
2936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][BEWARE] Boxman90 = Criminal (Extortion) on: May 14, 2013, 03:30:25 AM

2937  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I Hacked Bitcoin on: May 14, 2013, 03:15:00 AM
"I hacked Bitcoin, send me bitcoin for me to prove it to you!"

This was the part OP tripped up to reveal his very obvious troll post.
2938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: gamecoin balance wiped out on: May 13, 2013, 03:48:42 PM
Did you hear if you mined feathercoins first days you can convert them all (even if you already spent them) to gamecoins?
Yes, both coins use the same genesis block. Hilarious, really.
This is what happens when amateurs try to fork and change a project.

Epic Fail. LOL  Cheesy
2939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Elacoin | Releasing In 1 Day | Fair Elastic Scrypt Mining | No Premine on: May 13, 2013, 09:22:01 AM
My apologies, source code has not being released because when the genesis block is released you would need to recompile anyways.

The coin has not officially launched! When it launches, we will have sources & a Windows binary.

Source code here: https://github.com/elacoin/elacoin.git
2940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What I saw in bitcoin 2 years ago on: May 12, 2013, 06:39:24 PM
Once the bankers pay the politicians to make laws that anyone caught using bitcoin is summarily executed, then bitcoin will not be very successful.
No need. Just like here in the UK, banks can simply refuse to deal with bitcoin exchanges. Bitcoins are pretty useless to us here in UK at moment.
