I think this will merely be a blip on Bitcoin's radar.  Getting China out of the picture is a good thing in the long run.  But the next few weeks will be pretty ugly I'm guessing.

They'll just move to alt coins or some other alternative currency.

Cause if your battery dies , you're in big trouble , especially if you're alone away from home.

Bitcoin might not be around but other electronic currency will, paper money is doomed. If you can combine your wallet with a phone why carry both?

How to get info about the new alt coin release dates ? Is there a separate thread for it ? If not, would it be nice to create a separate one and sticky it ?
