2961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ARIVA — Cryptocurrency for travel & tourism payment and reward system. on: September 09, 2021, 11:06:47 PM
I'm looking forward to the day when ARIVA is a part of our everyday life and we can book a hotel with it. And EVERYONE can do so, meaning, we'll be driving a Lambo. All this is fun, but frankly, arv is gonna be a top asset.
Wtf? Didn't get your point. You'll be driving Lambo coz you are rich as duck? But arv is to pump, it's no doubt. What is your forecast on arv except the Lambo part? I'm talking about the actual achievements.
Amm, I'm not into all this trading stuff. I'm a hodler and enthusiast. When I found ARIVA, I got interested in this project, because I do believe in their idea. My hope will remain with me and I'll be just hodling.

Have seen several tourism-related projects before but hard to expect success with this industry.
Some have promising ideas but they can't achieve success in actual implementation.
So don't know how far the ariva team can follow thru their plans here.
By the way, I remember touriva project because ariva sounds like them.
And unfortunately, this is already a dead project.

2962  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling license on: September 09, 2021, 10:26:50 PM
^ Definitely you are right and it should must your license, not on other names.
I suggest to OP to read this article on how to get an online gambling business license, there is no need to rent if you can afford to get your own.
https://meliorgames.com/gambling/online-gambling-license-how-to-get-it/. And I also suggest getting your own lawyer for this and understand first the jurisdiction in your country or in any offshore country that you may choose because they had different rules and laws.

If I were op, I would do what you said and don't have to worry about the cost as when the gambling platform attracts gamblers then the amount of money spent to acquire gambling license and other expenses will be deducted from profit (house edge) as long as the platform survive and stay legit. There is a thread where op is about a gambling site having a domain that is expire and even bought a domain didn't get much attention.

It is better to acquire your own, but we don't know the motive of the OP here.
I hope, he is not looking in this business as short-term venture.
If he is not ready to accommodate all the aspects needed to set-up a gambling site with solid foundation, better not start at all.

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I'm looking to rent a legit online gambling license. What's the best way to do so?

You have to look to the regulators for this advice based on the jurisdiction you are trying to apply from.

Curacao and Panama seem to be two very popular destinations for online casinos to gain licenses from. From what I've heard the process is not particularly difficult and you should be able to gain one quite easily.

Getting a license doesn't necessarily mean that you have the power to serve every country in the world though. Take that in mind.

As others have said already, why rent if you can get one?
You may never know also what will be the arrangements of your third party provider that he will ask of you later on.
2963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not make curiosity to people around you while you are playing gambling. on: September 08, 2021, 11:53:54 PM
The more we gamble secretly, the more we hear less advice from the people around us that leads to a sort of possible addiction.
Secretly or publicly, a gambler that haven't seen the reasons for which, he or she would regard gambling as something bad or vice, is most likely not yo the advice from anyone and on whatever ground the advice might have been given. This brings me to a question;

Is gambling a bad thing?

I guess not. Gambling in recent times are organised and most of all, it's a game of luck. A normal gambler knows this and as such, he  or she is most likely not to take advice because, they believe luck is on there side and as such when nor careful, you just keep loosing and lose some more.

I believe gamblers know the bad or good effects on him, even before they start their game.
And most of the time, some of them are annoyed when their gambling habits is noticed by anyone around him.
Some are really secretly gambling so no one will bother them about their activities.
A responsible gambler knows how to handle himself when it comes to gambling.
2964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - October 5 on: September 08, 2021, 11:13:53 PM

And it's hard to see who are the good guy and who are the bad guy here.

Usually in a fight, we have the favourite who is the good guy, and then on the others side, the villain of sort who talks too much.

But it seems both of this fighters are trash talkers, so it's hard to distinguished and who are the people going to favour in this fight based on sentiments (good vs bad). But since the fight is going to happen in the US, so Lopez will be the crowd favourite for sure.

I like it when two fighters are doing thrash talks to each other, that means they are going to go for each other and will engage to the delight of the fight, we love to see fighters going to each other and willing to engage, we hope they live up to the fan's expectation because of the hype they've created.

The champion is usually the good guy, but in this fight, I don't know who is the good guy, but I'm not wasting my time finding out, what I want to know is who is the better fighter here not based on the betting odds but based on our personal analysis.

And let us see who among these trash talkers will win.  Grin
You can check their tale of the tape below link -

http://fightnights.com/match/8537

And gauge on your own which one will have the advantage over the other.
Lopez has 75% KO, while Kambosos has 53%, and Lopez is younger among the two.

4. Signup Educational Program: The purpose of the program is to spread knowledge of decentralized storage around the world, and enable more users and Dapps to experience the new manner of decentralized storage service provided by CATA .Our goal is to reach as many people and decentralized projects as possible with our educational programs before running out of funds.

This is a great initiative and every crypto project should spare some funds for such educational programs. New people joining the crypto world doesn't know wts the difference b/w decentralized (BTC) and centralized (XRP). Its very important to keep alive the original concept of crypto proposed by Satoshi back in 2008.

Though there are already a lot of free info from the net, still, this initiative is a very much appreciated.
This will also encourage their platform users to enrich themselves with knowledge that will give them more in-depth understanding of the topic.
Many people here even long timers don't have the full grasp of what can DAPPS do in advancing their experience in crypto industry.
2966  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: P2P Crypto Trading - Which Platform Do You Use & Why? on: September 07, 2021, 11:40:41 PM
Using Binance P2P for a year now.

I wonder why there's a scam here where you can check details first before the approval. Binance P2P is safe and their automatic escrow is good. The rates was also good compare straight dealing with an exchange.

Binance P2P also supports lots of fiat currencies. This exchange really giving us all the advantages.

Been using also the Binance P2P for quite a while now and really no problem or issue at all.
You are correct, if you will compare the rates with your local exchange in terms of converting your crypto to your local fiat, they are a lil bit better.
Before, I was hesitant to use it but found out, it is very easy to use this service.
They are indeed innovating their services to cater the needs of crypto users.
2967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uniswap Labs investigated by SEC, what is your opinion? on: September 07, 2021, 10:50:19 PM
What are your views on the cases the SEC has handled frequently so far, comments are invaluable.

As SEC's currently seeking for information about the usages of uniswap from investors and marketing stuff, most probably they're looking after any possible ways to regulate it. Although it won't be called as a true DEX platform if regulation is done. But most possibly they would restrict domain in worst case scenarios which won't be that much effective after all. So lets just wait for the best as most users are still positive about it.

This may be a long running investigation as we are talking about a decentralized exchange.
What areas can a DEX be possibly violating the government protocols especially if they don't know their clients?
Maybe, they will look more on the legalities of the exchange and their operations.
I don't think it is good idea to regulate also the existence of DEX, as it may require to ask KYC from customers, which is against its concept.
2968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid using LATOKEN and Cointiger to buy any altcoins. on: September 06, 2021, 09:43:47 PM
I think there's been a lot of negative news about this cointiger exchange. And my closest family can't even withdraw assets that have long settled on this exchange. So avoid this kind of exchange. And for Latoken there is negative news that has been circulating for a long time.
Even recently I was caught up by one of the exchanges that was in the top 10 in cmc. They didn't credit my deposit nearly $5000.

They have gained not-so-good reputation among crypto users.
And by the way, $5k is no small money, why not trade with binance, I don't think you will get that kind of problem dealing with them?
Because binance will only hold your funds if they are really suspicious with your activities, other than that, I feel safe trading with them.
In this crisis, losing 5k for nothing is quite a big deal. So next time, make sure the exchange is credible and really trustworthy.
2969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PESP] PESP COIN - People's Easy & Secure Payment - a coin for everyone on: September 06, 2021, 09:19:34 PM
I never heard this exchange til now. Usually, the problem with this kind of exchange is very low liquidity.
So even if they have low fees or no KYC, I don't think traders will be attracted to go over their platform.
Unless, they are running some trading contests or rewards programs that can attract traders.
Anyway, if you are aiming to penetrate the payment market, you should list this coin in more popular exchanges in the future.
I understand, as you are early in your development stage, looking for better exchanges may not be easy with your budget.

Exbitron exchange: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5337902.0

PESP coin just launched a week ago, it will be listed on more popular exchanges very soon.  Wink
This is good news, the exchange is enough to make trading volume increase, but it cannot be separated from the ties of the PESP project team because the very low trading volume is not liked by investors and the sell-buy offer should be optimized

Great to hear from pesp coin that they are looking for exchange with better liquidity.
Because sometimes it is useless listing in an exchange without trading volume at all.
It will just give not-so-good impression from traders or buyers, and they will question the capability of the project.
So now, we are waiting what exchange next they are going to venture with.
2970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Foobee 🚀 Swipe to Earn 🚀 The Worlds First Social Utility Crypto on: September 06, 2021, 08:36:07 PM
As I can see in official telegram channel app will be ready for usage from 20th September. Big step I think, important developing moment.

In this stage, once they launch their app, we will see if it will attract users or not.
Or can they make a difference and will be a hit this swipe to earn feature?
Because right now, play to earn games are hitting off among gamers.
Now, this project is venturing the social networks and introduce the swipe to earn.
Will social media users utilize their app?
2971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: September 06, 2021, 07:37:29 PM

Well, with the Caliber of Canelo Alvarez, it's unlikely that Caleb will win. Canelo will look to fight an undefeated fighter as that's what the opponent can only be proud of as they have not fought a high-caliber boxer in their life. I am not underestimated Caleb Plant, but he should double his hard work to last in this fight and possibly wins it.

He needs to do everything in order to have his chance of winning this fight against high caliber Alvarez. Both have their own reasons to win as they are still on the top of their careers.

Caleb thought have a slight chance in the eyes of most fans considering how tough Alvarez was, and with all those previous fights that Alvarez wins he might need a deeper review of each fighting skills that Alvarez may use against him, doing overtime with his trainings and trying to imitate if what can be thrown to him, I mean more on shadow practices.

It may help him in preparing with all the counters that he needs and all the defenses that he should have, Alvarez was so smart and reading opponents skills is one that he always have inside his mind, he's always trying to corner his opponents and try to win the fight with a huge margin aside from knocking it down.

If nothing else, maybe we will see a toe-to-toe fight here as both are considered to be still in prime.
But I understand that Canelo is the favorite here but who knows, we may see an upset, though the likelihood is low.
Let us see if Canelo will exercise all his skills here to win without a doubt.

Hope they are not in a rush to ride the hype of play-to-earn games.
Take their time and develop according to what they see deem fit on their objectives.
There are several populay play-to-earn games already like Axie, but they need to create their own niche with solid foundation to begin with.
If they are in a hurry to join this bandwagon, the ending may not be as good as they want.
2973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: BFG | BSC token of the BetFury | 🎲 mining 🎲 staking 🎲 farming on: September 06, 2021, 06:08:56 PM
There are many listing plans in the future and top Binance Smart Chain DEXes will be hard work, so good luck to the team

Exploring their opportunities in binance may really help them in terms of trading volume.
There are so many traders in that platform and attracting their interest may not be difficult because BFG has established its gambling foundation already.
It is good to see that a gambling site token is really moving forward because usually site token doesn't fetch good price in the market or most of the time just ignored by users.
2974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not make curiosity to people around you while you are playing gambling. on: September 06, 2021, 05:30:58 PM
I am playing alone in my room and I don't go outside just to gamble. There's that much protocol because of the pandemic and it's more handy and effective to be careful to gamble online and even if without someone watching me, I'm good with that setup. Those who are free to gamble without any bad effect with their relationship to their wives and parents, then you guys are lucky because they are open to you as you gamble but not all families have that type of acceptance and openness towards gambling.

On the last sentence you pointed out, gambling is not perse bad. It only becomes harmful if the user spends most of the savings gambling instead of fulfilling their daily/monthly obligations to the family. I remember, my Aunt used to date this gamer guy who was so addicted into playing online games to the point that he allocated most of his savings into buying in-game items and cosmetics.

Like what most have mentioned, creating a safe and healthy environment to each family is essential especially if you have kids to raise. They see their parents as "role-models" and the last thing that you want is for them to follow your footsteps in a negative way.

Very well said. Parents serve as role models of their kids.
So if they see one of you playing gambling game, they will think that it is okay for them to play also.
And lecturing them or giving piece of advise is hard to do anymore as they will say that why you are also gambling.
So if you want to make a good example, start from yourself and you will find out that it is easier to direct them on what is right or wrong.
2975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anderson Silva vs Tito Ortiz on September 11 on: September 06, 2021, 03:53:20 PM
If both fighters were young, I would vote for Anderson Silva. But both are now 46 years old. At this age, it's hard to make an accurate prediction because of the body changes of athletes who might be statistical favourites. Statistics makes me comment that Anderson Silva will win. However, we will see clearly on September 11 who will win.
It still depends on how they take care of their body, not because they are already at that age, they won't be fun to watch or they could not give a good fight.  Look at the list of oldest champions in boxing, the oldest was Steve Ward a 61-year-old man.
source : 10 Oldest Professional Boxers in the World

That is if they have regular routine of exercise/training even before this exhibition match.
But anyway, this is not really a serious match just for entertainment per se.
So won't bet in any of them, just enjoy what's left of them inside the ring.
And see if they still have that power in them to stage exhibition fights and give some entertainment to the fans.
2976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: September 06, 2021, 01:54:33 PM

Lol, I guess he is also prepared to be the next internet meme sensation if Inoue knock the hell out of Casimero, it will be huge and embarrassing for him. But that's what you get when you try to used your mouth often than your fist, karma will bite you in the ass.

So he better perform and back up that trash talking of him. But we all know that Inoue is the better and superior fighter, and it sounds that if this fight is going to happen, Inoue will take this personal and will give Casimero everything until he knocks him out.

For sure, he knows what is at stake when he did that trash talk.

He needs to fight according to his mouth, or else he will gain the fame with all those memes that will circulate after this fight.

After getting the attention of both Inoue's camp and all his fans, now is the best time to train to be more prepared so he showcase
his talents and try to win this with pride!

We all know that Casimero is a warrior too, he knows what he is doing and he is not afraid to fight the best fighter in his division, and currently based on record it was Inoue who is the best fighter, and this opportunity is his chance to prove that he can be the best by beating the best.
This fight is the fight that boxing fans have been waiting for, after previously the fight was postponed due to the pandemic, I personally see that this fight is likely to be a very difficult fight to predict who will win, because both boxers are the best boxers in class Bantamweight right now, but I'll bet that Inoue will win by technical knockout later.

I doubt that, I know it's one of the anticipated fights but the most anticipated fight for me is Inoue vs Casimero. And I don't think it's hard to predict as Inoue and Donaire already fought before and it was Inoue who was victorious with a dominant performance getting the Unanimous Decision after 12 rounds.

This may be the reason why Inoue-Casimero fight is getting much interest among boxing fans.
As they already saw the Inoue-Donaire, and now, they want to see what Casimero got for himself.
Seems that their match will be sold out easy as right now, it is already gaining interest.

High risk High Return in the dice game because it is 100% based on luck.
Yes dice game is based on luck regardless what strategy you use thus if you chose to play this game, have less expectation and dont compare yourself to those who were able earn from it, most likely they're just lucky.

It's just myth about having larger balance will ended up win.
Indeed but having larger balance has a greater chance to win although its not an assurance.

For me, you should never count on winning big in luck-based games even if you have good amount of bankroll.
Strategies like martingale is not an assurance that you can hit big time.
Very few can really earn from luck-based games, much better if you will bet on their sports (especially if you are familiar with for example in US Open or World Cup).
I do agree with the myth that having large bankroll will end up on the winning side because it is not about the bankroll, it is your luck.
2978  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasinorank.com - Reviews and ranking of Crypto Casinos on: September 05, 2021, 11:36:05 PM
Checked your site again and only recognised 2-3 popular BTC casinos. So many posters including me suggested several popular crypto casinos worth checking out, but you haven't added them yet.

However, your reviews are more detailed and organized which is a great improvement op.

you are starting a review site but need reviews from people? that's not a good approach.
Why not? Haven't you heard of user reviews(Rotten Tomatoes , IMDB etc)? It is a good approach in my opinion.

I believe the OP is not in a hurry in adding more sites on his review site.
He is just taking his time and I respect that because he may have other things to attend to.
This may be just another one of his ventures.  But the details are really comprehensive.
Hopefully, we will see more popular sites here so we can confirm if what he is saying is true or not.
2979  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥BFG is listed on CoinGecko|⚡️Free BTC+BNB|🔔Polygon & XRP release on: September 05, 2021, 10:52:18 PM

Betfury has, together with another site, indeed the most options of coins to deposit/withdraw. Network selection (especially the BSC network) is a great addition to minimize fees for popular coins such as ETH or USDT.
Absolutely! At the site, I have been collecting daily dividend rewards staking my BFG tokens then withdraw it. The implementation of the BSC network on the site is indeed a great idea. BTC withdrawals now have network selection options, so users can withdraw with the minimum network fee using BSC. Withdrawals at BetFury are so relaxing now.
But always remember using the BSC network is very risky to those new on this. I don't know if that is okay if you will send a token from the BSC accidentally to your ERC20 wallet. Do you think it will still be recoverable? However, I like the idea of adding XRP recently. I guess there are more coins to come and to choose from in the future, this is not a bad thing at all. In the future, what possible coin that Betfury team will accept that also lower fees.
As they said, the more, the merrier.

If you own the private keys to an address on Binance Smart Chain then you will still have access to that address on other networks. It is quite common for people to store BSC, Polygon and ERC-20 tokens in the same Metamask wallet address. All you have to do is change the network you are interacting with.

But if you are using the exchange address, would be hard to get it back as you need to contact their support.
And usually, they are not very welcoming with this kind of problem because it is the user's responsibility to check and re-check their transactions.
However, on the note that betfury is accepting now with XRP, this is really great for XRP users.
The fact is, this casino has long list of accepted crypto as compared to most popular sites here.
They keep on adding coins and even with the network, BSC/ERC20/TRC20, they covered it, so players have a lot of options when it comes to depo/withdrawals.
2980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spain bans betting adds - no celebrities, no sport sponsorship, no daytime adds on: September 05, 2021, 09:58:32 PM
Huge money is going to lose on this new law that's being implemented in Spain. We know that there are too many sports fans there and as well as sports bettors.
Yes it will have a huge impact to casinos, the same goes to influencers because they cant promote a platform that can also give them profit for doing it.

This law might be their solution to prevent their people especially the minors to engage themselves on such activity. However we know if there's a will, there's a way thus if a person is interested to gamble regardless if there's an advertisement around or not, its not hard to find a gambling site that can satisfy yourself.
I stand behind this strict law in Spain. Yes, people will find a way to gamble but at least the government must try and dry out the possible ways where minors are exposed to gambling advertisements. A lot of clubs and teams might be affected but I really appreciate this step as a whole and should bring net positive.

I am not aware of the problem status, whether it's illegal or not but this step should cut down some addiction problems and more importantly, the minors who are exposed to gambling at early age.

The government's action shows that they do care about their youth.
It may not be effective route, but it may help in lessening the temptation as they are not seeing those ads.
I hope their government will release their data after this implementation, if they are indeed at least reducing the figures related to gambling.
And if the numbers are significant, they can always endorse it to other countries as well.
If the positive outweighs the negative, they may be doing right in this new protocol.
