2021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 31st South East Asian Games on: May 16, 2022, 09:22:51 PM
The list of medals for the 2022 sea games, for now Vietnam still dominates at the top, it can be said that other countries will not be able to catch up with Vietnam, which has collected 155 medals so far, while my country is still ranked 4th, and has already won 67 medals. , but I don't know for sure what sports my country participates in, because I don't really follow these sea games, I only focus on one branch of football, in yesterday's match Indonesia managed to beat Myanmar with a score of 3-1, with a win Indonesia managed to qualify for the semifinals.
You can google the updates for those games that they're participating in.

There is a lot of coverage that is focused on this sea games but you need to find the most reliable one or those that really have information about the games and updated reports.

Vietnam will remain on the top based on the tally right now and advance congratulations to them then.

As we can see here, there is a trend which country is leading with the medals.
In the past couple of years, if we check the history - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southeast_Asian_Games.
When Philippines and Malaysia were the host country, in 2019 and 2017, respectively, they were also the ones leading the race.
And now, Vietnam is the host country, they are the leading one. I believe, host country has the advantage.
I am not saying there's bias, but for the athletes, they are in their comfort zone, so maybe, they are performing much better.
Also, they have the large part of audience supporting them giving a good boost in their morale.
2022  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling Brand Name or Site Functionality? Or Both? on: May 16, 2022, 08:52:33 PM
It is perfectly OK to go with both, a great brand name and great functionalities is always the best, but in a situation where one has to fail, then it must not be great functionalities because a name, no matter how unique, beautiful or classy it is, is still nothing without a good functionality.
So personally, I think it is great to have a good name and good functionality to go with it, but in a case where one must go for the other to stay, then let the name go and let the functionality stay.
This is my personal opinion.
Good brand name and functionalities should really be your main target as a business owner yet you shouldnt really miss out if you do really have that opportunity on doing so, since this business is really coming or going

for long term the quality of its services should really be minded off in terms of entertainment that they could give into the community. If you do have both things then high chances that you would really be getting

significant recognition or popularity if they have done it well but all would really be that not an assured thing.

But even if you have both, good name and good functionality, those are not assurances that you will hit in the market.
It would take time before you will see about the performance of the site. It takes a lot of work from the team to create a decent casino to go to.
Why do you think some of the casinos in the forum survived? It is not because once they launched their site, they just leave their players.
It is because they have continuity plans, frequent promotional activities and contests, good VIP rewards program, visible support and others.
So the work is not only at the beginning, but as you can see, active casinos in the forum have activities also that keep their players at bay.
2023  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Few Steps To Avoid Losses In Trading. on: May 16, 2022, 08:11:45 PM
I think using Future trading is not without risk so it's better to avoid Future trading..maybe sometime you make big profit but one blow like Luna can make you Zero.
Spot trading is better choice and if any body have knowledge of charts then day trading is useful and profitable. It's better to use Binance,Coinbase,Ftx,Kucoin and Gate exchange for real time price and high volume of trading.
Don't invest all in one coin , Diversify your investment on top coins.
Stepping yourself inside Future is something not really that recommended specially if you are still noob. You would be finding for yourself to be fucked in the most fastest way which blown up your
entire capital.
So better stick with spot and practice out with small amounts as long you do gain up some experience. If you are really that eager on stepping yourself with Future then its your
choice but you should really be aware of yourself in terms of risk management because its really hard to deal with a market where it is totally unpredictable and cant really be that
easily to be handled.

I have seen a lot of people getting liquidated in futures trading.
So if you don't know what you are getting into, better keep yourself on spot trading.
And a very good example today is those people who are into futures with Luna.
Some may indeed lost all their life's savings with this project. And that will be their biggest lesson in this market.
If you want to minimize the losses, for one, choose the reputable trading platform.
And then, when are trading coins, you should have knowledge of the coin your are trading with. Don't trade blindly.
2024  Economy / Gambling / Re: I miss the old OnChain gambling on: May 16, 2022, 07:37:17 PM
The world is changing and you have to change to, if don`t want to be the last. I join crypto world in 2016, but even for this time it was a huge quantity of changes in this world. New cryptocurrencies, new rules, masternodes, DeFi, NFT. There were just several places that need KYC. But everything changes and a businessman has to change his projects to match the current time. This gives us new opportunities, so i willn`t try to remember how it was 5-10 years ago.
Changes and innovation is something inevitable and for an industry like Gambling then it is really that understandable that they would really be needing out adjustments or making something new

which hadnt been existed on the market on where they would really be the first on giving out into the community or offering its service because once its been recognized then it would

really be in resulting for having that attention that they might able to pull it off which would really be good for the business.
Sometimes it not only good for business, in some situations "My dear, here we must run as fast as we can, just to stay in place. And if you wish to go anywhere you must run twice as fast as that."(c) Lewis Carroll.
If you don`t want to lose gamblers you have to involve new decisions that will make gambling easier and more attractive for gamblers. In other ways they will just change casino.

And with the current situation in gambling, players are more comfortable in centralized casinos.
It seems that they are not attracted with the onchain gambling these days.
There are benefits with onchain but in this today's situation, I don't think they will patronize onchain.
There are features in centralized casinos that gamblers want, even if some of them are asking kyc.
Maybe, because they are trusting these casinos because most of them have licensed to operate.
At least, an organization is looking after them, even if we say, very rare occasion that you truly see a casino sued by a player.
2025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PROS AND CONS OF CRRYPTOGAMBLING. on: May 16, 2022, 05:30:27 PM

Yes, right? I mean there's certainly plenty of things or activities that could be made if the reason is just to try to entertain ourselves or some pastime. So, if the people are choosing gambling activities over those options then I do bet that these certain people aren't afraid of losing some bucks as we know that gambling is quite an expensive pastime.

Well, as I said, it's their choice and they surely know what's the repercussions.
I live in a region where gambling is banned and there are no casinos. Hardly anyone gambled till the time bitcoin came in the market.
Now many can gamble and earn some money - but people are very careful and keep the scams in consideration.

Does it mean that your region is allowing the online casinos to operate but physical casinos are banned?
Maybe, your government can see the positive side now of allowing casinos to do their business owed to the pandemic.
Because during this pandemic, online gambling is one of the businesses that really thrived  and survived.
If they will allow it, and just get the taxes out of it, they can benefit from it, but the online casinos should be legally under their jurisdiction.
If not, they can't get something out of it especially those without gaming licenses. Maybe, they will change their minds now when it comes to traditional gambling.
2026  Economy / Economics / Re: Well now i know why Bill Gates bought farmland back in 2021, how did he knew ? on: May 16, 2022, 04:20:10 PM

So..... the question is.. has the agriculture and food production grown with the explosion in the global population? The short answer is NO, because global warming has caused an increased in extreme weather conditions that destroys agriculture and also over fishing has caused a massive decline in oceans stocks.  Angry Angry Angry

You are right here. You don't need to be Bill Gates to predict the future.
Because the numbers in our history are already clear and you just need to follow where it is going.
Climate change has been the topic for years or decades already. And most of us are not doing anything to possibly address its impact to our environment.
He is just acting to what he can do to sustain himself with the impending global hunger problem. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to understand this situation.
2027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Terra Ecosystem Revival Plan - Luna V2 WHAT DO YOU THINK? on: May 15, 2022, 11:47:27 PM
this revival plan just gonna make another shitcoin v2 it’s basically the same thing just different altcoin holders, after all so many people have lost their fortune surely they won’t be bagging these luna v2 again if they truly care with their investment portfolio.
the thing that luna really requires as of today is billions of money for pegging their stablecoin otherwise any other means or effort of reviving their luna gonna be a waste of effort and just doing useless thing at least thats my 2 cents.

But for sure some organizations or groups will take advantage of this situation.
Even if LUNA has negative popularity right now, still we can say they caught the attention of the crypto community.
And remember, negative or bad publicity is still a publicity. So don't be surprise if some will create v2 without the participation of the original dev team.
In my opinion, no need to make a v2 because what exactly are their goals this time?
2028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mind Over Matter In Gambling Using Pendulum on: May 15, 2022, 11:18:08 PM
Damn, honestly, I don't know what you are talking about until I read the link you provided.

So this is being superstitious (more like) in gambling which I don't really do.
I believe in my skills and my strategy is very simple, and that is betting against the Public, way more effective than anything.

Anyway, thanks for educating me about that kind of technique, I'm now aware about it.
Pendulum has been used only in the ancient age, so i don't have any idea that its still working up to these days. But just like you, i prefer to believe from my own instinct, my skills and strategies in gambling. And of course, a little bit of luck adds more to how we end up doing good in gambling. However, using pendulum might be very advantage way back then, and that magic nowadays may not be working anymore as everything in gambling purely based on luck and skills.
When it comes to pendulum thing then this is usually in talks or in correlated with some hypnotizing or something in related but i was surprised that its involved on gambling
too which to believe on adding up some good bet calls or being lucky? I dont really believe such thing for it to be effective or really be having that placebo impression.
Let people decide for themselves whether they do really believe for such thing to be that effective or not.

Maybe, there are still few people who are using this type of technique but more than likely, they are the old ones or very superstitious people.
I haven't known anyone using this method. And I don't even know that this is still a thing in this digital age.
But on this aspect, let us just respect those people who believe on this kind of thing when it comes to prediction.
It is their own belief, and we are all free to use our own way to predict something.
2029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: May 15, 2022, 10:33:40 PM

Right now, as far as my browsing and searching related to this are concerned, the expected bout between Crawford and Spence is still unclear up to this point. No ongoing negotiations or status is been released.

But this has to happen no matter what. Even Jemell Charlo said that Crawford needs to pass Spence.

Unfortunately for Crawford, Charlo thinks that he won't stand a chance against Spence that's why there will be no discussion of future fights between him and Crawford. What's your opinion on this guys?

If this is true, then it's heartbreaking news for us boxing fans because we already speculating the kind of fight these two will give us inside the ring. Boxers can't do anything when their manager is against it and they are just following it despite their fans wanting it to happen. Anyway, hoping to see more of their fight no matter who will be the opponent, and let's just hope they will gonna end up negotiating their fight in the future after winning some fights against other boxers of course.

Hmm, and since Charlo won the undisputed 154 lbs against Castano, I think this will open another book for Spence to go up one weight division against and fight Charlo, hence he wil be avoiding Crawford again?

I'm just thinking this scenario in my head as a Charlo vs Spence has also been in the discussion lately although if I'm not mistaken, they are in the same team or at least train by the same person or grew up together so they are close.

If the negotiations between Spence and Crawford will not materialize, he may really think of going up.
However, their fans are rooting for this fight to happen first before anything else.
Their respective promoters may be are already in talks with each other. Because that's the next big fight for Spence that can get them huge payout.
Unification of those belts will attract more spectators rather than Spence going up in weight division. That's my opinion though.
2030  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is there a reliable sports betting site that offers a welcome bonus? on: May 15, 2022, 09:48:30 PM
i wonder ..
Most of gambling sites not only on sports betting or bookies but also in casino games as well on which they are really offering that welcome bonus offer but of course not all would really be that interested thats why

they dont really put up much emphasis with these type of bonuses yet it turns out for this one to be in default on which its been part of a gambling business to have this kind of promotion.
Just like on what others been suggesting and telling that you could really find those casinos on this gambling board itself if you do have put up some time on doing so.

The OP can try visiting the site mentioned above by the users.
But don't forget to check the accompanying conditions of this welcome bonus.
Because it may be attractive but sometimes the wagering requirements is too high, you won't even complete the requirements.
Also, better check their reputation here because most scammers will offer your a very good deposit bonus.
2031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: May 14, 2022, 11:54:21 PM

If the fight between Spence and Crawford will happen anytime soon, I believe, they can make a lot of money here.
Maybe, it is their respective promoters that are still in negotiation about the purse split.
Sometimes, the reason of delay is not because of the boxers but their promoters themselves.
So even if the boxer declare he wants to fight this boxer, it won't happen unless his promoter said so.
Let's wait if their promoters can agree with the purse split and give their fighters a chance to prove themselves.
2032  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Something like na easy way to double your money on: May 14, 2022, 11:21:00 PM

Please don't promote 'schemes' that you already know is pyramiding. Regardless of how much you can earn with that, pyramiding itself is and will always be a scam. Just with the fact that there is a MINIMUM ENTRY FEE required already proves it to be something we should be cautious with. Hence, you just basically promotes scam despite knowing it will end a scam.

I hope people won't be tempted to join this kind of scheme.
Better use your $100 for other things that you can very well benefit of.
Because here, more than likely, you will never get your initial investments.
Their offer is tempting, the reason why they can get naive users.
But if you have seen this countless times, you won't fall for this trap anymore.
2033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hard earned money - Busted in seconds on: May 14, 2022, 10:47:42 PM
That's why you have to learn how to manage your own money. Just make a portion out of the total money you have like 50% save and the rest 50% will be divided among the choices you want like gambling, purchasing something or whatever you want with it. So when you started your bet at $3 then you still have money left even though you started to bet until $98 but still it's just a portion of your total money you have and you are just not lucky at the moment.
Your advice is very good but it's actually very difficult to put into practice. the majority of gambling players today do not have good financial management skills, they only gamble because of temporary emotions and that is what makes many lose the moment and lose big

luck must come to a gambler but when their greed is greater then it makes them fail and lose big

They will learn quick if they won't manage their funds properly when it comes to gambling.
It is easy to lose in gambling rather than gain money. And if you are playing luck-based games, don't expect you have something to bring home.
Gamblers should know possible repercussions even before starting to play games.
I can understand if it is sportsbetting and you are very familiar with the sports, you have better chances of winning.
But with luck-based games, better treat it as a way to unwind from your stressful life and don't expect any winnings afterwards.
2034  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is the difference between Referral and Affiliate? on: May 14, 2022, 10:01:23 PM
Both profits, but affiliates has more chance to make profit than referrals.
Affiliates has lots of benefits, it has wide range of rewards also like tiers/levels for every user they invites, the promo used of their invites, and you dont need to have an account on the platform, every bet they made, mostly it is used in different platform to promote the specific service, say a casino.
While referral is just a fixed rate or percentage whenever a user invites to the platform, every bet they made. A referrer also is a  existing user of the platform/casino.

I disagree. It is pretty much the same. It just depends on which is which was REFERRED. Basically, Referral System mentioned by the OP is the one A USER USES to get AFFILIATES. Hence Affiliates are those THAT ARE REFERRED. But some platforms uses both terms is just their referral system in such ways like "affiliate links" or "referral links" that pretty much pertains to the same thing.

From what I have encountered from the casinos here, mostly, you can interchange these terms.
The difference is how each casino give the benefits of their affiliates/referrals and how they define it.
So if you want to get the benefits of this feature, better check the conditions of the casino itself.
Because their terms vary from one another, the privileges attached to it and other things related to this category.
2035  Economy / Economics / Re: Looks like markets are crashing ! this is it ...it's the big one ! on: May 13, 2022, 11:59:19 PM
Looks like we will soon leave the negative trend and head for the bull market, a few hours ago the bitcoin price was around $27k, and now it's more than $30k, I'm sure tomorrow or the day after the bitcoin price will reach $35k soon, and what we worry about hopefully not happen Again, the trend for 2018.

It's just a simple pump and dump ... from traders / govs ...

If your a long term investor why would you sell to buy more expensive ? lol
We can't say it would pump back to $35k again since it's been a long time since the market is bearish so there's a small chance that the market might not pump back again to what you expected. It's better to invest now or buy this dip since it's a one time opportunity that you have to witness such price during dip. The recent dump you are seeing are the ones who panic selling instead of holding and most of them are newbies.

Though we can't exactly identify those sellers, what we need to do is take care of our own business.
If you are looking long-term at this market, this will be a very good opportunity to slowly collect more satoshis.
No one can tell the future but how many times we have been in this roller coaster ride.
It is not forever in the bottom, at some point we will go up again.
2036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk won't save Doge or Bitcoin this time on: May 13, 2022, 11:36:33 PM
The market is in bearish for a year now and I don't think Elon Musk would help this time since during the bullish time he abandoned Bitcoin community and chose Doge instead. So, why would we care about him saving Bitcoin when it's clear that he no longer be needed in this community. Bitcoin price can grow in no time and this we experience today is just a temporary drop and at least it's still high enough compared to the 2017 ATH .
^ He cannot help because people already know about him, he manipulated the BTC price before and people don't let that happen again. So there is no way to save the BTC price during this bearish time or probably just a short correction. BTC price is unpredictable and now one can tell which and when it will grow, it is a matter of time that the market will heal and back to the price which we have an ATH. Dogecoin has already a place to shill so nothing to worry about this, Elon Musk bought the Twitter platform, and for sure Dogecoin has a place to hype.

His twitter deal is put on hold, so right now, he is still not the owner of Twitter.
Anyway, do people really think that he saved bitcoin one time?
Maybe, when it comes to doge, because with all the tweets pertaining to doge, doge achieved an ATH of about $0.73.
And now, it is in the 8 cents level. I guess, a lot of buyers are now losing from this old meme coin.
People are just waiting on his next tweet to hope for the best about this coin. That's not a very sustainable approach.
2037  Economy / Gambling / Re: I miss the old OnChain gambling on: May 13, 2022, 10:43:54 PM
I still found such kind of game here, actually i found them often here now, although its not about bitcoin only but other crypto with faster confirmation. The issue on this kind of gambling is not the provably fair its the reputation of the website compare to those licensed one. I found them too suspicious and too risky actually.

There's a new thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5398548.0?
I do agree that with on-chain, it is the reputation itself of the site matters.
And how easy it would be to ask for assistance if you got any problem.
It says from the thread, you can contact them 24/7, but can they really assist their players?
2038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Still Supporting And Playing On Newly Launch Casinos on: May 12, 2022, 11:48:38 PM
There's nothing wrong with trying new things, who knows luck is on the site for us, but don't be too trusting by putting a lot of money on the site, before Credibility has really been tested for real.

good point
no problem on trying out a new website with a really small part of your money, just don't go all in (or even 20% in) on something that may have a lot more risks than you can imagine or see at first glance.
While that is the correct approach at the same time we know that a lot of newbies are always looking for the bigger welcome bonus they can get, so they think that if they are going to deposit their money in a new casino they might as well take full advantage of that bonus and make a big deposit, and while that is not really a problem if they happen to deposit their money in a good casino, this will become a huge problem if they selected a casino that is being managed by scammers.
Welcome or deposit bonuses arent something that appealing for most people and only noobs do really fall out into this particular manner but once they had some real experience about into it wager requirements
then this is where they do realize that this is something not really that interesting because you would need to hit up the requirement before you could really withdraw. Depositing big amounts on a
new site is very risky specially when everything is still unsure.

Most deposit bonuses are indeed very tempting.
But yes, one should check out the wagering requirements first before depositing.
Because with high roll-over, you will end up losing all your money.
That's the trick. Giving good bonuses but very few can really get out 'alive'.
We can always give the chance to new casinos, but do your research also about the casino itself.
Don't deposit big, just try with small amount if you want to experience the site.
2039  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam freebitco.in ? on: May 12, 2022, 10:58:52 PM
You know what, once a platform is known as a scam, have shady behaviour, people will boycot it no matter what industries they are in. Rights of players/users is more viable on this forum. Putting red tags, flag that can hurt the websites reputation once proven.

Freebitco run so many years already, although issues are unavoidable but most of them were solved already, and the site is still running, so asking if they are scam, it's NOT.

The OP has no valid evidence if the lottery in freebitco is a scam or not.
Maybe only a hearsay or doubt, whatever it is, he/she should have done the research first.
Also, if the OP wants this to be formal complaint, he/she can follow the scam report format -

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260073.0

Anyway, freebitco has been here for years already, and actually generous to its users giving free satoshis and other promos.
So don't know where the OP is coming from, but maybe one is the results of the lottery???
2040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Suspend Terra LUNA Coins! on: May 12, 2022, 09:02:13 PM
It's a shame that major exchange Binance has made such a quick decision to remove the LUNA coin from their platform. If in the next few days there is no change in the selling value, of course it could have an impact on other platforms/exchange as well. I don't know what Developer next plan is to tackle this problem. whatever it is, me wish LUNA the best, on the one hand I have also lost money because of this coin  Undecided

Maybe, binance wants to get out of this mess before it becomes worst.
We don't know if there is still future for this algo-based stablecoin
It depends on the team behind this project if they want to rise up or let it continue to decline.
This is one of the many reasons why people are getting disappointed with crypto.
Getting rekt without a warning, thinking that they bought a valuable coin, but it is not.
