2981  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was invited to speak to civil service review students next month about Bitcoin on: March 16, 2022, 06:49:32 PM
Congratulations, if you're really for speaking engagement, that type of opportunity is for you.

Aside that your friend is the owner of that review center, it's helpful that you get to educate those students on what bitcoin really is. You're about to break those misconceptions that probably have formed in the minds of the few students there about bitcoin.

Since you've said that you already have as a speaker, that would be easy to you. Good luck!  Wink

I'm not a fan of the team but I know the capacity of vtfaded as he's been with Chinese Teams which honed him very well to be wherever he is right now. Too bad that he was screwed.

But about these selling of games or 322.

This should really be stopped for most of the players, aspiring ones and as well as the pro ones. They shouldn't waste the opportunity that was given to them.

Yeah, As far as I know, he was a former member of ehome which is a powerhouse team in Chinese Region. There’s a lot of players involved on the recent ban announcements and most of them is Chinese players. Most of them has a lot of talent to be on top team and earn a better salary if they focus on it. I think only the language barrier stop them from being acquired by international team. Team Orca gives me a huge last BTS pro series and I will really miss all there cool comeback games.
The involved folks are likely the next generation and aspiring superstars but too bad, they have to fall this early because of their bad activity.

I know that many of them can communicate in English despite of being pure and local, still, there are players like iceiceice, kpii and others, maybe ana too that even they're Chinese, they're also good in speaking English.
2983  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which wallet is safe for keeping large amount of btc? on: March 15, 2022, 10:38:39 PM
You can't go wrong with electrum wallet, mycelium, ledger nano x, open-source and full transparency, so make sure you keep your private key or recovery seed safe.
There's no problem if it's also a Ledger nano s.

Nano x is like the most recent version of the hardware wallet of Ledger but they're also selling an "S" version and it is what I've got. I guess others that have purchased long time ago got the s version and don't have any problems using it.

The price of two is quite far from each other and s is the cheaper version but you may want to have the features x has.
2984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Wont Sell his Bitcoin on: March 15, 2022, 07:47:11 PM
After telling that bitcoin consumes a lot of energy for mining, this tweet made him admit that he owns bitcoin.

Well, from the very beginning he's just trolling the people to influence the price of bitcoin. Tesla investing in bitcoin and him being on the swaying side but only with Dogecoin.

This confirms that from the very start, he had always owned bitcoin.
2985  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to understand or know the whale's next move? on: March 15, 2022, 12:52:34 PM
There's no such like that existing.

If someone tells you that they know these signals, then, they're likely not telling the truth and just want you to be part of their group. Whales probably don't have these exposed groups to talk about their next move.

It's likely when you try to join a group, it's more of a pump and dump group so avoid such.
2986  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|✍️Signature Campaign|🎰Boosted DailyBattle x10 reward 👾Fantom on: March 14, 2022, 01:48:35 PM
I would like to know what wallet you use to deposit bitcoins at betfury using the BEP20 network. Can you tell us? I think it will pique our curiosity and who knows, we will try it too using a bitcoin wallet using the BEP20 network to lower transaction fees.
Any wallet you can use to deposit as long as it's supported by betfury's supported chain and it's only two. The usual transaction that we go through which they label it "native".

And the other one is the BNB chain.

Your account will have the address so whatever wallet you use as long as it's the same network from your wallet and betfury's wallet, you'll have no problem and it will be received.

The "native" or the actual bitcoin network does also have cheap fee.
2987  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Does This Always happen? on: March 14, 2022, 10:44:37 AM
Definitely!

The market is sick of us that's why it happens.  Tongue

Kidding aside but it's really happening to me too that just after selling, maybe after few hours or a day the market is going up. This is usually when I sell alts and bitcoin.

I don't know if we're unlucky or it is that the market knows how to disappoint us.  Tongue

Dota2 News: Team Orca(SEA BTS pro champion) has been disqualified by valve forever due to alleged match fixing and playing with two team owned by Team Orca.
this sucks  Undecided  i was looking forward to maybe seeing them in a tier 1 tournament soon. Devastating blow for people in malaysia, i'm sure some dota fans over there thought Team Orca with vtfαded and the rest were going to be next big thing. But I guess winning two tournaments in one weekend was simply too obvious of a 322

anyhow, DPC WEU div2 starts tomorrow... rooting for Alliance here, but i'm not getting my hopes up, they've been playing really bad lately

From your experience with the man you just met on Facebook and the next thing to come to your mind is to be your saviour (God sent) helper,  this is a wrong approach as things are not done all of a sudden, you can't expect someone you're yet to build a quality relationship with just decided to help you within a little space of time you met come on.... That's a suspicious act and if one is not careful  will end up being a victim of scam, many has been a victim of such people because they tend to prove been smarter or to quickly  grab advantage,  scams come in different ways and techniques, watch out.
We're on the internet days and this type of scam will never be gone.

A sad approach to those victims by these scams that they're too quick to believe what they've been told about. That's why, someone has to educate himself on what he's tackling about specifically in cryptocurrencies.

You can have someone to teach you what you lack of but that doesn't mean that you can never learn on your own.
2990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to be investing in Bitcoin? on: March 13, 2022, 09:56:37 PM
I believe everyone will like to invest in Bitcoin when the price is down or when the market is in dip cos it means you can make more profits but sometimes, investors miss that opportunity because of different reasons, out of liquidity, fear of further market dips but as you said, anytime you invest in bitcoin is a good time, especially for a long term.
I don't think that out of liquidity is one reason.

At all times, bitcoin is liquid and that's why there's no problem about liquidity on it. But I do agree about on it being as a long term investor, I've learned from my experiences that no matter what the season is and you're long term on it.

You should buy and make a plan that you'll be able to capitalize the situation because you're foreseeing the potential of it that others don't.
2991  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It seems that more people taking crypto trading as full time job on: March 13, 2022, 08:55:27 PM
I've done that before but I gave up my intention to become a full-time trader...

my experience and skills are still not enough to become a pro trader, that's why my income on trading is not good enough to meet the needs of life, so I make trading and bounty my side job, I focus on the business of selling women's accessories.
This is right.

All the others thinking and being optimistic isn't enough just to be a full time trader, there's actually more in being an actual trader. You really have to be decisive and you know what you're doing when you become one.

Not just following the herd because everyone is trying to be a full time trader. We can still be traders and earn from it but being full time is more than what people are thinking about if it's just about earning. Because you're prone more in losses than winning.
2992  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trying to have more knowledge about hardware wallet on: March 12, 2022, 10:55:09 PM
I have family members that have been using trust wallet for the past 6 years while I thought that crypto was scam, nothing happened to their wallet for that long which is why I think that having hardware wallet isn't that a first priority, one can do well with trust wallet and buy hardware wallet later.
Well, you'll change your mind later about having a hardware wallet if your funds are getting bigger.

Trust wallet is owned by Binance. Yes, it's one of the reputable exchanges that we have. But still owning a hardware wallet should be prioritized.

Well, if your relatives know how to keep themselves safe then that's good. You can use that wallet and any other wallets as long as you know how to make yourselves safe from being hacked or phished.

There are also some techniques like, if you own that much bitcoin and you have spare device like a laptop. You can download electrum there or any other reputable bitcoin wallets and keep that wallet installed and don't connect it to the web for a long time. It will serve as your alternative hardware wallet.
2993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling in METAVERSE on: March 12, 2022, 09:54:17 PM
That sounds cool and ideal.

But when are we going to see that? AFAIK, there's only a very few project that allows this. They can partner with any crypto casino and see that onto the metaverse world.

Where people can meet on that particular online world and society and go to the physical casino inside that world where they've been partnered with.
2994  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trying to have more knowledge about hardware wallet on: March 12, 2022, 11:46:25 AM
so there are closed source hardware wallets?
Yes, Ledger wallets are closed source. Refer to this quote below;

Ledger uses a unique blockchain open ledger operating system (BOLOS) that is an open-source framework. However, unlike Trezor, Ledger wallets use closed-source firmware, meaning it’s not available for third parties to review or test for vulnerabilities. The devices also differ because the Trezor One wallet requires users to enter the password via a keyboard, whereas Ledger users enter it on the hardware.

In general, all of these hardware wallets are safe (at least the top 3, ledger, trezor & keepkey). In my experience for having and owning a ledger nano s more than five years. I don't experience any problems owning it, getting in and out transactions from my ledger wallet.

They're also up to date with their software updates and that's why I find it a good thing upon using this hardware wallet. Also, I don't usually connect them to the internet at all times since I can always check my portfolio through their app, the Ledger Live.
2995  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: reason why people fall victims of scammers everyday especially on social media on: March 12, 2022, 08:45:58 AM
Greed and being desperate.

We're at the time where a lot of global events that turning the economy too bad. First is the pandemic, this had laid off a lot of jobs and too many employees have been affected.

Next is the war which is causing high prices for oil and a domino effect for all the goods that we consume.

While people are looking for ways to make money desperately, too bad that the scammers are taking advantage of that weakness of these people that are in need. As they lack knowledge and experience, they're too easy to fall for the scammers trick.

There's not that much interesting tournaments lately after the Dubai's Gamer's Galaxy. Most of the actions and tournaments right now are in the SEA region.

Here are the two:

Moon studio Kagura champion --> https://liquipedia.net/dota2/PNXBET_Invitationals/Southeast_Asia/4

&

PNXBET invitationals --> https://liquipedia.net/dota2/PNXBET_Invitationals/Southeast_Asia/4

Most of them are tier 2 and 3 teams.

Most of the current tournament sponsored by PNXBET is so boring to watch and only exclusive to PNXBET casino(AFAIK). Betting on match there is super risky because there’s a lot of reported match fixing on lower tier teams. We have only limited data about these teams since most of there match is not officially broadcast by local streamers so we are only relying on hunch and odds set by the bookmaker. Let’s just wait for DPC tournaments to make sure we are betting on quality match.

I’m very excited on how teams will maximize the patch on the DPC tournament. More crazy line up on the road.
I'm just for the action if it's about PNXBet invitationals. Well, a tournament like this is like a pause tournament where most of the top tier teams are on rest and you just want to watch some actions.

Yeah, DPC tournaments are coming soon and that's going to be another action that we should enjoy. It's just a few days from now on and whoever wins will be qualified to Stockholm major.
2997  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How has trading been for you during this Ukraine and Russia war on: March 11, 2022, 09:17:49 PM
There's not of that much action on me.

I've been stable and good but for holding. I don't want to trade currently as this volatility is not favorable to me. What's easier is to hold and at this time, it's better to hold IMO.

Sometimes I sell if I have to but mostly hodl.
Well, as for me I sometimes sell if I see a profit since I set the $40k as a resistance then I probably earned some profit when it hits at $42k and $38k or $39k for buying orders. But when the market is unstable I prefer to hodl more instead of trading like a gambling and wait for the right opportunity to come.

This war doesn't do much about the market and I think it's kinda like a hype yet no one is buying it. Maybe those large institutional investors don't want to buy at this price level and they need some bear in order to buy cheap.
If it's just a small amount with your buying orders, I wouldn't sell if it moves around $2k but if it's a big amount like you've bought half or 1 bitcoin.

Whenever it moves with that price range, you're already in profit and that's considerably a good sell.

But anyway, as long as you're confident and you're making money from those sell offs. It is the important thing that we're trying to achieve.
2998  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Bitcoin wallet suddenly activates after 11 years on: March 11, 2022, 07:05:04 PM
I've read about this news but I have never thought that this was Satoshi's. I don't know what's with people that have thought that with 489 bitcoin is being owned by Satoshi.

There were even people that have thousands of bitcoin and they're not Satoshi. But too bad that many of them have completely forgotten their keys and lost their hard drives.

Well, every bull run, there's always a dead wallet that comes out of its death that holds a lot of bitcoin.
2999  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: About bear season on: March 11, 2022, 06:00:42 PM
All money made in bear market must be diverted into BTC, this was the strategy I used in 2018-2020, I made some money through airdops and bounties then converted those tokens into BTC and BTC made it to 60,000$, bear market is accumulation period.
It's the better thing to do that others still don't see the importance of having bitcoin within their stash. They're all for altcoins and believes that it will make them avoid the stomp of the bear market if it comes.

1. Get a job secured.
2. Invest in crypto with little amount of money that you are ready to lose.
3. Avoid looking into your wallet time to time, hold and look away.
4. Top coins gives peace of mind than new altcoins.
5. BTC is the best to hold overall.
Great advises.

Those that have a job and secured with their salaries, they should just focus on DCA so that even the bear market comes. They'll have a great time to accumulate at cheaper prices.
