2141  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can we experience $80k this year? on: February 09, 2023, 11:40:07 PM
the price of BTC will surely reach $80k before the end of this year 2023.
Are you sure investors will experience $80 this year?
$80, we're passed that. $80k for this year, we don't know. Kidding aside on the $80 since you've just missed the 'k'.

The price of $80k could really be reached, who would have thought that the price of $60k will even be reached last 2021? Nobody as majority were already good that it was stable around $21k.

My speculation is that the price won't be like that by the end of this year. I give it to 2024-2025 which is more likely to be reached due to one big factor that we're all waiting for - halving.
2142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ark Investment lanches report Big Ideas 2023: bitcoin price above 1mi in 2030 on: February 09, 2023, 09:59:18 PM
I see people doubting Cathie Wood because of how she interacts with the people. It's obvious that she's a bitcoin maxi and it's almost looking like she's shilling it to everyone to buy bitcoin.

Yeah, as she's obviously bias, people are seeing that and we as bitcoin investors we understand where she's coming from. That prediction is high and 2 halvings will come before that year comes. 1 is for 2024 and the other is for 2028. Who knows if they're right.

Well, they'd say that about Saylor and just about any bull. It's very hard for investors to believe in such astronomical prices when we are in the middle of one of the worst bear markets we ever experienced.
Exactly.

But if we get there and they're right, it's a win for us and if we don't get there yet the price still goes up higher than it was with the last bull run, we're still at win.

Deep inside, I want to see those prices happen and having it still on my hand holding bitcoin by that time is surely going to be celebrated not just by me but by the majority.
2143  Economy / Economics / Re: How to thrive with low income in a humble area on: February 09, 2023, 08:33:40 PM
Social media is effective and that's why having ads there will really push us to buy things even if we don't need it. You'll get to see the algorithm of them work.

If you're telling something while you're connected to the web and you have their apps on you, later on an ad will pop just exactly what you've mentioned.

That's why it is encouraging for everyone who sees those ads especially if they're food as you crave. Control yourselves with that and you'll get to save money.

but if you are not using the money its better to keep it and hold it, but even tho I work full crypto I not gonna withdraw it all of it and fact 80% of my money in form of crypto right now  Grin Grin
This is what I do. If I still don't need money, I'll keep on holding it. And when I need it any moment of time, I'll withdraw but it doesn't come as a whole.

How long do you think you can hold?
Until my target is touched.
That's also my goal on how long I shall hold. Learning from the past, I've sold too early for some instances but I just have to forget those moments and learn from it.

As for my target, I've got high prices in my mind and hopefully those will be reached soon.
2146  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: who would you trust? on: February 08, 2023, 07:06:02 PM
Since strategy are always changing in trading, what is the relevance of experience? Who would you trust the most for trading tips,
An old trader who has had better days and mostly still relevant because they have a strong reputation for the fact that he has been trading for a while, or would you trust a new trader who is hot in the market and fresh with new strategies?
You should only trust yourself and your instinct.

If there are other good traders that are happily sharing their wins and strategy, if it's possible to know their losses then also start to know about it so you'll know what are the lessons that you should take from them.

But if with those choices, then you should choose the one whom you can learn with. Based on that description you've given, if I'm hungry for a mentor or tips then I'll go with the first choice.
2147  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Started testing the waters in futures trading on: February 08, 2023, 01:18:34 PM
What can you say about your friend's signal? Is that really working and helped you a lot or it's just the same as guessing a trade because it's inaccurate?

Well, first, congratulations for trying it out. I've got no balls in doing it again because I don't want to experience the same burn that I've taken when I did it before.

Just as what they say, you've get to learn more about analysis like TA, fundamental and the other strategy.
2148  Economy / Economics / Re: Is renting an inevitable waste of money? on: February 08, 2023, 11:57:45 AM
I do agree if the commitment is surely but, to make it sure then they have to get married. That's the only way to assure that their relationship should be assured and that's the time that they should buy a house and pay for its mortgage.

I've seen couples that have decided to take house loan but they're not yet tied to each other. In the end, many have become problematic and they didn't anticipated that they'll be ending with a break up.
I cant really believe that there are couples who had decided to take up some loan even if they arent that married and on the time that they would be having a break up then the ones who had signed those papers is

the one would be sued out or be asked out for those mortgages which is bullshit for someone to agreed upon.If you are really that legally married then it would really be that understandable that you both
do have rights about your priorities or something that do talks about conjugal property which is really that very common.

Renting isnt a waste of money specially if you dont have still the money for you to have your own house. There's no other options left when you are not financially ready.
Well, it's true story and they seem to be too confident with their feelings and that's why they're coming up with that decision of taking up a home loan and they'll just pay for it.

Renting is convenience for those that are moving from one city to another. Also, getting a home through loan is really a decision that should be taken seriously.

It has to be decided and needs thinking for several times before doing it whether you're a couple or just alone.
2149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will it be profitable for the business? on: February 08, 2023, 04:00:36 AM
Cryptocurrency can be accepted as payment for your goods, but the main price for the goods must be indicated either in your national currency and only as a secondary price already in Bitcoin.Since the price is different every day,the buyer needs to declare the price in the BTC personally. So far, this is only possible, or use automatic payment services that convert cryptocurrency themselves at the exchange rate.
There will be for sure an automatic converter if OP pushes for this type of payment method for his customers. As he's aware of how volatile bitcoin is then, the price of any goods or products that he'll sell on his business will vary based on the market's status and pricing as it changes most often.

Talking about the profitability of the business by just accepting bitcoin won't really give that result. It should be the business in itself that's being profitable whether he accepts or not bitcoin on it.
2150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best way to earn with your idle bitcoin (if there is a way anymore?) on: February 07, 2023, 11:53:06 PM
Ok so i am always looking for ways to earn on my idle bitcoin, i was lucky enough to pull out of celsius a month before disaster and they closed up shop. I know that i will never trust a cefi platform again for earning on my bitcoin. I could go the the other route which is defi. But with defi i am not interested in converting my bitcoin into something like wrapped bitcoin.

So if i am not interested in cefi or really much of the defi way what else is out there? I am not really an expert on crypto but i ve been around it since 2017 but like i said i am always looking for ways to earn with the bitcoin i have.

If there isnt really anything out that is relatively safe i am happy to continue hodling it on my ledger. But if any of you guys are aware of something new that i havnt heard of please feel free to let me know thanks.
Never really convert your (original) bitcoin to just some shit wrapped up token that calls itself as bitcoin too.

You don't have to think a lot with this thing. Just keep it as is and where is and you're good with it. I've been holding my bitcoin in my wallet without doing anything and it took a long time until I touched it again.

Just make sure you have it on note your recovery phrases and that's the most important words that you need to keep it safe.
2151  Economy / Economics / Re: Is renting an inevitable waste of money? on: February 07, 2023, 09:18:18 PM
The location is one of the major factors for one to look at the rent or taking a loan for building their homes.

I've got friends that have settled in rural areas where lands aren't expensive and they can just work remotely which is the benefits that they've got from the company.

As we all know, working from home now is the setup that majority likes and favorable although not all really likes that setup.

So, renting is good for short term so that you can move anytime you want.

In the short term, renting is generally good and convenient but OP's dilemma lies in whether to buy a house considering all the factors/risks that may happen in the future. I wouldn't worry about all the possible factors coming from the external environment but would review the relationship seriously. If OP is 100% confident in the commitment with his girlfriend and would not fear that the relationship may break, why not buy a house ? Otherwise, any breakup or divorce in the future would severely ruin everything and drag OP into a mess that he may never come out of. I guess this is the focal point to really think about.

2152  Economy / Economics / Re: Is renting an inevitable waste of money? on: February 06, 2023, 07:55:12 PM
The correct answer depends on the country you are in. If the city is expensive, like New-York for example, renting is your only solution to live there. For example in my city the amount people pay for 2 bedroom rent + utility bills equals paying out loan for same 2 bedroom flat. Financially having a rent flat isnt profitable, but you will have to stick to one place for 15-20 years if you take a loan, when youth dream is to move to other country, and elder generation does not feel stability in keeping work.

2153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US casinos set new record of revenue on 2022 on: February 06, 2023, 10:14:16 AM
Well, it was quite expected to reach a new level in casino revenues, because in the previous year everyone suffered from a lockdown associated with the pandemic, however, the same is indicated in the article. And if 2021 was very successful for online gambling, then it is quite natural that after the pandemic, people began to actively visit real casinos more willingly, especially this is typical for the US, where according to surveys 85% of adults said they had gambled at least once.
https://www.gambling.net/statistics.php
Yeah, the pandemic has made everyone stayed at home and that also has made the registers for most online casinos to go up. But those that are only present physically, they're the ones that have suffered.

But after 2 years and as we're close to making it to the third year as we deal with the pandemic, almost everything is coming back to normal.

Those gamblers that have missed going to the physical casinos have contributed to the sales revenue that they're showing right now. I hope that there will be other stats for the casinos that can be found outside the US and how much they are.
2154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My greatest fear about Bitcoin Halving. on: February 06, 2023, 08:46:23 AM
Many people misunderstood the second part of my statement.  Well in the OP, the first part of the statement was used to express my fears while the second part was just a figure of speech used to imply the kind of force which would replace the force of halving bull run incase it fails.
Anyways, I have read some reasons to believe that halving bull run will not fail. Let us believe with facts that it will not fail because if it does, it won't be easy
I agree.

Let's just stick to that pattern thinking that everything's going to be fine. It's common to think of what IFs because we care for bitcoin and unexpected things might really come.

But it's all speculation until it actually comes into reality.

The thing is, we're all caring for what's about to happen and we're just a year afar from it and thoughts that we want to express really differs but in the end, we all want to succeed together with bitcoin.

2156  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How I made my first $2000 through stock marketing on: February 05, 2023, 11:51:54 PM
Then that's great and congratulations.

If you're no good in the other markets, you better be jumping off from one to the other and see if you've got the potential to grow there. But we're just in talks and having some conversation without proof.

But I'll give you that and still have congratulated you with that achievement that you've mentioned. You just have to be consistent and see if you'll be able to make it as your day job.
2157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: February 05, 2023, 10:32:27 PM
Puppy already accomplished winning TI so he is not that hungry anymore for that title compared to Nisha who doesn’t get that. I think he has the best shot on Liquid since his teammates share same hunger to win the TI just like him.
I don't think that Puppey is thinking like that, he's always been hungry to win another TI and he's been trying hard but up to the point that they've ended up 2nd last TI.

It was so close but yet unsuccessful.

And all of the players that are participating on these majors and minors, none of them would say that they're not hungry winning a TI title.
2158  Economy / Economics / Re: How to thrive with low income in a humble area - part 2 on: February 05, 2023, 09:03:14 PM
Develop a good relationship with the neighborhood and offer your handyman services: there might be earnings' opportunities where you least expect. If you have contact with people around and tell them you can execute tasks for extra income, they will call you at some point, especially elders who have more limitations. It can be to make a delivery, paint a room/wall, cleaning or maintenance services and so on...
This is so true.

When you're a skilled person and using it as a side hustle. Be friendly with your neighbors and offer it to them with not so expensive deal and if they ever like your service.

They'll be the ones to refer you to their friends and from there, you'll be referred by them and that's going to make your network even bigger.
2159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you interested in bitcoin? on: February 05, 2023, 07:58:29 PM
Because I'm still a beginner here, and still don't know much about bitcoin. So, I want to learn more about bitcoin from you guys.
Welcome here!

I want to ask you guys. Why are you interested in investing in bitcoin?
It's because of having a limited supply. The supply limit that it has is 21 million but as of now, its current supply in the economy is around or nearly 19.3M BTC.

And the remaining other supply will have a long time before it reaches the max cap.

Aside from that, the experience that I've got by investing in bitcoin has already proved me that having its features has the potential to move its value.

I'll be having the payment for things that I want to buy with the use of bitcoin but only for selected shops and has an investment at the same time.
2160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Deal with Volatility? on: February 04, 2023, 02:21:01 PM
Seek professional advice: Consult a financial advisor or investment professional to help you navigate the complexities of the crypto market and make informed investment
decisions.
I think this is subjective.

You'll never know unless you notice it that the financial advisor or investment pro that you've been consulting has got their biases. Yeah, we may get some help from them and that's a plus in our investing journey.

But these days, many of these people are there for the commission as that's one of the source of income that they rely on. They may suggest some tips of where to invest after giving you some helpful tip on how to skip volatility, and you'll get there why for me it's subjective.
