I forgot to add this: you remind me of cumunism days, when we had only one choice of everything, one kind of milk and one kind of car and only one kind of everything because our leaders thought that we cant make choices and they have to make them for us, and you are doing it all again, so bitcoin or what.... death?
2982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: litecoin dead ? on: November 08, 2013, 08:24:53 PM
ok I will try to be respectful as much I can (it is becoming harder), we are talking about choices here, in the real world of open market people like to have the chance to chose their product, if you come here and try to force your point of view you wont do any better. people will still invest on whatever think is good for them.

it is the same if you force me to use BMW, I own Renault and I love it, it does the same thing it drives me wherever whenever I want, I do not feel the need to pay for a fancy overpriced car, i took my choice and I am happy with it. I use Visacard instead of Mastercard, I use windows and linux and not a MAC, I use an Android phone instead of an IPhone or a windows mobile phone, I drink Pepsi instead CocaCola......

and I would like to add something, the fact that most of you doesnt know is the daily BTC volume you see is the reason of LTC  rising in price, there was 57.000 BTC bought and traded for LTC only yesterday, when we talk about big exchanges Like Mtgox and BTCChina and bitstamp adding Litecoin, this means people will be for once able to buy and sell Litecoins directly at close to no cost and you will automatically lose some of the volume.

and quit crying about it here, you think LTC is dead/ dying, ok cool don't buy it, you did a good job predicting the future and you saved your ass, I just want to understand why you have to come back and cry even further.

PS: you do not have to answer me... just move on....
2983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: litecoin dead ? on: November 08, 2013, 06:50:38 PM
how much you are getting paid for this ?
Learn to read. I am not offering my opinions for sale.
And the rest of your response shows that you are indeed butthurt; I touched a nerve.
This was done for free, but given my performance, I should definitely be paid!

You know the Bitcoiners are getting scared just by the responses in this thread. You can almost taste the fear dripping off every sentence.
Wait, what? Now it's not the delusion that Litecoin will be relevant in any way, but you actually do think it's going to challenge Bitcoin in some way? That's really, really bold.

Again, users were better off selling litecoins when they stopped having any use, and just hold bitcoins. I'd have no issue buying into an altcoin that actually solves problems, or has valuables services around it. I don't see that going on.

actually I have to admit that you did pushed me a bit off limits, I mean I draw a line and usually try to not cross it, but you guys keep coming and proving that you are here just to troll, so please can you answer the same question, why do you keep posting shit when you know that Litecoin is dead? and we've got your point here, move on nothing to discuss here, except if you are doing it for another reason..... which i am sure you do Wink

You know the Bitcoiners are getting scared just by the responses in this thread. You can almost taste the fear dripping off every sentence.

I'm telling you guys now, when Litecoin goes on Mtgox and Coinbase and btcchina etc Bitcoin is going to drop like a rock when investors realise what open source means and Litecoin will rise.
I personally think it's hilarious that the next generation of bagholders is excited about their investment.

Do you honestly think LTC has enough going to support it's current $100,000,000 market cap? Cheesy

the same question goes for BTC, but it doesnt stop me from buying and investing in both, you like it or not this is how it works....
BTC has first mover advantage, a ton of merchant support, hundreds of talented developers all over the globe, dozens of well funded startups, and interest from big investors.

What does LTC have? Not much more than any other shitcoin in this forum, except it's been around longer.

Wrong!! do your research, LTC has almost the same that BTC had last year and is getting even more and more, in fact LTC growth is scaring big BTC holders and small little tiny guys like you, this is why you all come here to cry, I mean why would you even bother to post stuff about a dead coin ?

give me one reason why do you all come here to post your pointless words ? we get it the coin is dead move on, nothing to see here... or maybe you feel so threatened about LTC that you cant keep your shit toguther ?

And here come the butthurt 0.03+ buyers who don't understand a thing.
Sure it eventually raises in fiat value (only through Bitcoin) but is overall a stupid "investment" for people who want to play early adopters and nothing else.

Quote
I offer my trolling services.

Do you want to make some users rage? Reveal their dark/hideous side? Have some fun? Do you have no time to reply, yet have a hard time resisting duty calls?

What I am selling is not just dumb sockpuppet messages, it is carefuly crafted rage-inducing posts. Or simply proving a point. In can make people rage or simply make them look wrong while staying classy. You choose.

It's not a way to get your scam approved on Bitcointalk. It's not limited to forums or even this forum. It's everywhere users can write stuff and it gets read. It's not a way to make lies make sense, I won't do it and can't do it anyway.

It's a way of responding to stuff when you don't have the time.

What I would like the most is doing stuff like responding to idiotic comments or articles, for examples about Bitcoin. There are many in the French press, right now, and I have responded to some rather well.

Price: 0.01 BTC per post, i.e. 1 BTC gives you 100 posts.

Skills:
I have 10+ years experience trolling forums and have eventually been banned in most. I know how moderators think (and have been part of moderator teams, though I really dislike the job), so I can play with the rules if I want to. I'm used to threats.
I have an extensively tweaked browser which allows me to be faster than most.
Languages: English, French

Terms:
  • If I get banned before some interesting results you still have to pay but it will be 0.0005 BTC per post
  • I am not selling my identity, I am selling content, you are not buying sockpuppets
  • I reserve the right to refuse offers though I have little interest for political correctness

how much you are getting paid for this ? and another question, is your ass hole for sale as well ? I have a friend that would love to do some one like you, if you live near lyon you should get in touch with him, then I would love to hear your stories and complains about how your but hurts later  Wink
2987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: litecoin dead ? on: November 08, 2013, 05:08:09 PM
LTC is rising because the ignorant chinese investors don't know what they're buying into. You might recognize this as the same situation that occurred during the first litecoin bubble to $5.

Expect a nasty plummet soon.

[correct] Litecoint all time hight was $5.9 [/correct]

you would know that if you understood what was bitcoin and Litecoin at that time, but why don't you all write some helpful posts based on real facts rather than trolling, I will remind all of you trolls later.

2988  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / GHash.IO and double-spending against BetCoin Dice on: November 08, 2013, 12:07:58 PM
Transalating my post from russian subforum
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=321444.0

Like a month ago, in September I witnessed a lot of double-spending against BetCoin Dice. It happened between 25th and 27th Sept.

The mechanism was simple: send betcoin a tx wit 0 fee, then wait for a result tx, if your bet is a win, then confirm your tx, otherwise double-spend it.

1. Here I'll give you a bunch of transactions which you can examine. Note this is a chain of transactions, so just click on outputs to see.
https://blockchain.info/tx/4d731074447f02609c3110a187f9c6976f2bf255288ec5666ee270f09679619d
https://blockchain.info/tx/e0b44f68441ea0bad0f7694f735f496ce05238862534c6fea737b8903921185a

The double-spending of losing bets was performed by someone mining to https://blockchain.info/address/1MA7CKbWMyKdPkmsbnwmfeLh1hYy5A3gy8 , you can check it yourself.

2. I tracked coins down to the origin
https://blockchain.info/tx/154ecb1eb72c933bc0707fa70deceb688361554ab81b901673d308aa84d9cfe9
The most interesting address here is 12PcHjajFJmDqz28yv4PEvBF4aJiFMuTFD
It's been involved in similar actions, look at this chain of win-only tx's
https://blockchain.info/tx/0c1a08d035862b01d075e8044b1e9ce52a8ad951b57d876a2a9a0e3502c41eb0
And the most interesting fact is that these zero-fee tx's inbetween winning ones were mined by ghash.io exclusively. Possibly this was a test attack.

3. Going further, I found the address the earnings from attack were sent to: 12e8322A9YqPbGBzFU6zXqn7KuBEHrpAAv
https://blockchain.info/tx/292e7354fbca1847f0cbdc87a7d62bc37e58e8b6fa773ef4846b959f28c42910
And then part of these funds (125 BTC) was sent to ghash.io's mining address:
https://blockchain.info/tx/48168cf655d0ac0c7c2733288ca72e69ecd515a9a0ab2821087eb33deb7c6962

4. Furthermore, I checked the funds mined to 1MA7CKbWMyKdPkmsbnwmfeLh1hYy5A3gy8
In these 2 succeeding tx's they were moved to 199kVcHrLdouz9k9iW3jh1kpL7j9nLg7pn
https://blockchain.info/tx/e567ad6232de5285e0dc211d3f1c489b1e00e509118ba98a4825529d0a9197d9
https://blockchain.info/tx/faa7bc8b99376efa774045e79b42771fe668341b00290a61cd416992571c590d

This address is interesting, because it contains 6000 BTC and ~30% of funds come from ghash.io mining address.
https://blockchain.info/taint/199kVcHrLdouz9k9iW3jh1kpL7j9nLg7pn

5. And the last thing to spot:
GHash.io, being about 25% of network back then, didn't find a single block to its address between 25th and 27th of september!
https://blockchain.info/address/1CjPR7Z5ZSyWk6WtXvSFgkptmpoi4UM9BC?offset=1350&filter=2

I'm not jumping on conclusions, but these actions require public attention.
Comment here if you have anything to say.

I thought every body has to see this post. credit goes to RoadTrain  original post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=321630.0

this is serious, this must be addressed ASAP, you have to put this topic on  Development & Technical Discussion board, this is not the right place, very few people visit this sub-forum.

I will copy the OP and add make a new post there.

edit: here is the link to to a new topic with the exact copy of your post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=327767.0

Pozdravljena,

Information is not transferred to the purchase.

2991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: litecoin dead ? on: November 08, 2013, 07:30:35 AM
Lol.  Another "BINGO" for being a funny.
Just my online sense of humor. Didn't people say using online stuff isn't safe?   Tongue

The market cap has quite increased, although it has increased for most currencies (top ones).

Yeah, what were seeing is a dead cat bounce for alt coins.  Most had a 90% drop or more and even Litecoin had a 65% drop in like 2 weeks.  So naturally there's gonna be a bounce.

The real test will come after Bitcoin consolidates and then breaks through $300, which should happen in the next 30-45 days.

Then we'll see what happens but my guess is that alt coins, and especially scrypt will tank hard and fast with no floor underneath except the occasional dead cat bounce.

anyone will try to argue with you is nuts, because most if not all of your posts lack to logic and are based on no facts rather than trolling and emotions. I was watching the way you push your statements on this forum and I think that you do not think out what you are talking about.

conclusion:: welcome to my ignore list, you are a time waster.
2992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: litecoin dead ? on: November 07, 2013, 05:25:14 PM
Total trading volume has nothing to do with currency usefulness. One could setup machines to increase LTC total trading volume way above BTC
total trading volume but it would not affect the fact that LTC is pretty much useless right now. If something is useless but there is a chance that
something will become useful so you invest in that something than we are speaking about speculation, not true demand.

well BTC is still not that useful, but I believe in it, this is what real investor do, and you are wrong LTC is more useful than any other ALT out there, and there is a real big journey ahead of us to get to the public adoption that we want.

2993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: litecoin dead ? on: November 07, 2013, 05:21:19 PM
I will just add this, when both coins go more mainstream and get to our daily life, I would feel more conformable paying for coffee or a meal with Litecoins, I would buy my plane ticket and car, apartment... you know expensive transaction with Bitcoin.

I get the satoshis thing, but I would like to have an alternative , in this case it is called LTC
2994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: litecoin dead ? on: November 07, 2013, 05:15:13 PM
Total trading volume has nothing to do with currency usefulness.

so litecoin does the same job that bitcoin does but faster, the same as my Visa card and Master card and the same as BMW and Mercedes....... got the point ?

Edit: and yea trading volume has a big influence on price, if not is the most important thing, this means that people trust that coin and believe in it, and this is all what matters, if there weren't me and you and users around this board who believed on BItcoin , bitcoin would be worth 0$

http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/baidu.com <--- rank in China 1, global rank 5 (do you have any idea how big is that?)

I will explain to you how this market works, there is something called adoption, what happened there is adoption and it has nothing to do directly with the price.

now the price of BTC went up because of a simple reason, demand higher than supply, maybe big investors have more confidence.... you have to know that this market is under the influence of speculation, the same works with LTC, you know that LTC is traded in big volumes I mean really big volumes and as you mentioned china, LTC is already in 3 of the bigest Chinese exchanges.

when they say LTC is next to BTC, they mean something , people just don't talk out of thin air, do your research, look at these bubbles you may understand what I am talking about http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/v2/coins/graphicalComparison

I will save you some clicks :

2996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: litecoin dead ? on: November 07, 2013, 04:48:00 PM
... so without major price manipulation by BTC-e and some whales LTC would be way bellow 0.01 ...

Sounds like you have a magic formula. Care to enlighten us?

If BTC price goes up 50% but nothing happens with LTC (demand and supply remain constant) than LTC/BTC must go 50% down. There are
more than few reasons we can point at for recent BTC price increase but can you point at one reason why LTC price should follow BTC trend?
I can't. LTC on Gox and similar craps do not hold watter anymore. It is all about speculation of the known LTC players, as many times before.

so why BTC went up, care to point one reason ....

2999  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting Married with Bitcoin? tips, ideas, discussion on: November 06, 2013, 07:01:43 PM
it is really simple, bitcoin is like anything else that represent wealth, so if you love your wife to be which I suggest you do as you are getting married soon, you are already willing to spend the rest of your life with her and build up a family, so you are changing your life.

so if you will have problems in your marriage which will lead to divorce, she has the right of half of what you both own, Bitcoins are one thing that she will get as well the same like getting a car or house or.... the only thing is if the end of the relation gets ugly it will be hard for her to prove that you own any bitcoins, it is easy to erase any trace of transaction.

but honestly do not think so much about this, you will destroy your marriage before even you start, if you think that she is the right one for you, than sharing your wealth is one part of sharing your life with her.

in my case, I have 2 kids of my own and we take care of another two kids, if we are going to ever divorce I will split everything I have with my wife to the last penny as she was a great support for me, and she allways gived her hand to pick me up when I was down. so she deserve it.

I am actually thinking about the worst case scenario, in case of my death, I wrote a paper with guide of how she can get to the wealth, even if it will be hard for her ( not so much technical) I made sure that she can get help from friends that I trust.
