304  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC , combo.Two new model coming >10MHS. on: February 12, 2014, 09:33:17 PM

Has anyone set up the LA3M yet with all accompanying stuff that is supposed to come with it:
10XUSB cell, 1X controller,2X 12V industry adapter,10Xmini usb cable,10 12V power cable,1Xusb hub,1Xmini usb cable,1X5V usb adapter

asiabtc says you are supposed to be able to connect, configure, and run it all with above gear. Am I missing anything besides a laptop to get these guys going? Also, anybody think it will be a problem to get LA3M setup going in addition to 20Xdualminers on the same laptop? (only running scrypt hashing).

it comes with a configured TP-Link, which is the controller for these devices

how much did you guys pay in BTC? was it a conversion of fiat to BTC value or straight up BTC Value? Wondering since the value of BTC is significantly lower

I am in the club, one LA6M paid so far  Cool
Now let my altcoins rise in value so i can order more  Roll Eyes

any reason why your choosing to invest in alt vs btc? I am sort of on the fence right now.. I could get some antminers which ROI in 47 days, or get these asic LTC's and hope that LTC price rise and makes a profit...

I have bought a set from Mr. Jack Liao @ alibaba and received it yesterday.
After struggling true the chinese setup guide, i am now mining scrypt @ +/- 3000 Khs

Now i still need to build some kind of case to put everything in, because now with all those wires & coolers it is a big mess

So can you confirm that Mr.Jack Liao isn't an alibaba scammer?

I dont want to order from some over priced group buy.

Mr. Jack sounds legit... I mean he sent out free samples to 3 people!
313  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] - Toronto, ON -400GHash - 2x Antminer S1 + power supply in stacking crate on: February 06, 2014, 01:00:39 AM
this is for 4 antminers? is shipping included?

The price is for a crate (2 antminers). I have multiple crates available though.

shipping is not ideal, since the crates are large and add bulk. I am really looking for local buyers on this ad, unless you want to cover whatever the cost is to ship a 12"x14"x12" item that weighs around 20lbs

ooo...i see... Price is too high for me, but thanks anyway

Danny

318  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Terrahash Loses in Court on: January 31, 2014, 11:06:43 PM
My case against Terrahash was heard in court this past Monday.  Terrahash failed to show up after being properly served.   The judge asked to see my receipt and asked some questions before awarding me a judgement for $10,000 plus court costs.   The fact that my receipt was denominated in Bitcoin was a non-issue.

.

Was 10k the amount you paid TerraHash for hardware?

But seriously, super excited for you

Details to build your own here : http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:236092

For the hardware I used :

1x seasonic 1250W 80+ Gold power supply,
4x Gigabyte R9 280x (should fit other models),
1x ASRock 970 Extreme4 motherboard,
1x AMD Sempron 145 CPU,
1x Kingston HyperX 4Gb DDR3 1600 MHz RAM,
1x Sandisk SSD 64Gb,
1x 200mm NXZT fan,
1x 120mm Noctua fan,
3x 16x-16x PCI-E risers,
1x 1x-16x powered PCI-E riser

I can acheive 2.9 MH/s with cgs undervolted to 1075mV, sgminer 4.0.0, optimized .cl for cgminer, 8191 TC (yes 91 not 92), 1055/1500.

Those are some really nice 3 point support brackets! quality on those printed parts is pretty impressive! what kind of 3d printer do you have?
