301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN: ELIXIR (ELIX) TME 2.0 on: September 03, 2017, 02:09:14 AM
I posted about EthFinex in the previous thread, and maybe it went unnoticed, but it would be great for ELIX. Here's the relevant part from an article on their blog:

Quote
Ultimately, it is the sentiment of our users and the Ethereum community which will dictate what is traded on our platform — not listing fees, investments or our team’s independent preferences.

To accomplish all of this, however, we will need your help…

Eleven days ago, we introduced the initial token listing crowdsourcing thread in an effort to gauge relative popularity amongst the multitude of interesting projects out there. The thread was a success, and provided us with fantastic insights into the many highly-dedicated token communities and the justifications underlying the demand for these projects.

.
.
.

In light of this, we’d like to conduct another poll, this time to act as a more structured, precise indicator of project popularity. We’d love to hear your thoughts, and reasons as to why you happen to be engrossed by a certain project.

This poll can be found here

If your support lies with a token not included on this list, we recommend for you to start a new thread revolving around the project/ICO, explaining its concept, vision and positives.

We got TME on Nova and that took a lot of voting per day. Sure, not everyone voted but this is BitFinex we're talking about. We can either hitch the free ride now, and all the wonderful hubbub that'll come with a new exchange, or you better get your Eth bags ready because when it launches, well, this happens:

Quote
Once Ethfinex has launched, future listing decisions will initially be determined through a variation of the Carbon Vote mechanism. Carbon Vote is a voting tool, developed and driven by the Ethereum community, which allows interested parties to “vote with their Ether.

This is a good idea. They also have a subreddit it might be worth posting a detailed description of the project in.

I couldn't agree more. It's a wonderful idea and absolutely worth it!

Quote
It looks like they've chosen the tokens for the current poll, but getting ELIX on Ethfinex would be excellent.

It would be phenomenal tbh. Assuming you're talking about the ones listed in the article, sure, those seem to be from the first poll. They said just down below that you should post in the subreddit if your token is not listed:

303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TIMEREUM (TME) VERSION 2.0: "ELIXIR" (ELIX) COMING SOON on: September 02, 2017, 11:02:21 PM
New thread linked above.

I think, no, it is time to lock this thread.

Looking for a Discord for this.

Does one even exist for this idea or is it not even active? Let me know if anybody is informed about this

That's the same thing I asked for in the new thread. He mentioned a Telegram group but Discord is far better and less restrictive IMO.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN: ELIXIR (ELIX) TME 2.0 on: September 02, 2017, 10:40:44 PM
If I have 1 EXOR, and I sent 1 EXOR to my ELIX adress, how ELIX I received? what's happenned with EXOR at this moment?

Use EXOR to create batches by sending EXOR from your child to parent address. Then, you can convert this newly created EXOR to ELIX by sending EXOR to the ELIX address.
It is like the same like timereum, but now is different name is that correct dev thanks.

ELIX and EXOR are both ERC-20 compliant, and the creation of batches is done in another contract to make the ELIX more compatible with exchanges.

ELIX is an improvement on TME on multiple fronts.

How many ELIX are created per batch? Does it carry over from TME's base at 1250 ELIX per EXOR batch, start from where it stopped at ~1288 ELIX per EXOR or what?

Also, can you confirm that this is the pairing on EtherDelta?

Edit: Oh, and can you create a Discord group rather than a Telegram one? Not needing to have a smartphone/number is a big plus.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN: ELIXIR (ELIX) TME 2.0 on: September 02, 2017, 09:54:20 PM
I don't who that is on EtherDelta but I'm assuming it's one person and that s/he is on this thread and checks it regularly and will hopefully see this. You might wanna remove the 0.00xx ask prices and leave it at 0.x - 0.0x. That would be a wonderful start price on the level of HShare. Just sayin'
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] WCX – Low-Cost Crypto Exchange built by Apple & Wall St team on: September 02, 2017, 09:22:48 PM
Ok, I can upload a gif or video. Even though I offer you direct access to their beta. Which seems like better proof.

You mean like you claimed earlier? Tried that, didn't work. Get started on that video.

Quote
Not my fault they keep fixing holes that I mention.

Unsubstantiated holes, in a beta no less, are evidence of nothing.

Quote
Nice picture, can we say, photoshopped? Taking the words right out of your mouth.

Coinigy is not exactly terrible looking so, duh?

Nice, I give you early access that nobody else has, and you just can't believe it.

So, I was right, they fixed one of the "flaws". That link won't work anymore. They clearly watch this thread like a hawk.
They even deleted my account... so I made another one. Had to get a little creative. Still, pretty simple to bypass.

I gave you proof. Your hating on the picture of the platform you're buying into. lol.  (they took the scroll bars out.)

For all those doubters, PM me, I will give you my fake email and password so you can log-in to the demo. Will even tell you how to
sign up for yourself.

Suppose, even if it's true, then what? It's just a demo version, a raw beta test. If you hacked their admin for example or something like that - it would be a different conversation. The current "vulnerability" even if it is - does not give any efficiency, in addition to registering an account and touching - look at the test product? Hmm.

I understand that you are trying to smear a competitive product by advertising your project and your ICO through subscription and profile information.

Yes, a beta, but they are running an untested, probably very buggy "real" exchange. Real money! They can't even make a simple closed beta program. I just don't see how that is ok to people. Guess you don't have any $$ on the line or demo access.

Seriously though, PM me, will give you access so you can see I'm not making crap up.

But there was no announcement that the invites were sent or the work of the beta version is stable? Then what is the boiling point? Do you prufayte raw product, when all this is well understood and even the official representatives said that they finish it?

I do not understand what you are trying to prove? That your product is better and that people are coming to you or what?

People are asking to see their demo. Their demo is clearly open. I can show you how to access it. What happened to wanting transparency.

The moment you shilled your "competitor" product in this thread right after a smear campaign was the moment it became glaringly obvious that transparency is the last thing on your mind.

Not just that. His very first post on this thread (and in 2 years for his once dormant account) was explicitly a marketing post. As should be obvious, this thread affords him the opportunity to shill his product via smear campaigns which is why the majority of his posts are in this particular thread.

Ah, isn't that adorably convenient for you? You claim to have a picture of their early access and when we go to check it out, it's supposedly fixed just in time. But you're legit, for sure.  Roll Eyes

I gave you proof.

Um, no you didn't.

Again, no. I've seen someone pass off a photoshopped blockchain.info wallet screenshot as his and rightly called it out. Doesn't mean I'm "hating on it".

Why not upload a video/gif of the supposed early beta and link us to it rather than probably creating/awakening more of your alt accounts that'll come and claim to be enlightened?

At least 2 people in this thread have confirmed from Fran Strajnar himself that he's WCX's escrow, one of them being me.

Could you share what he wrote? A screenshot would be great.

Thanks!

Here you go:

309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN: ELIXIR (ELIX) TME 2.0 on: September 02, 2017, 08:29:54 PM
Confirmed, this is the thread for ELIX

Good to know. This might be too early but when is the ETA on getting listed on CoinMarketCap and Cryptopia? Like I said, probably too early but that was the purpose of the donation/address auction in late August. It'd also be nice if you can link to the pairings on EtherDelta.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] WCX – Low-Cost Crypto Exchange built by Apple & Wall St team on: September 02, 2017, 08:12:23 PM
Na. They probably watch these forums.

- They just took all the data offline. Nobody was in the beta anyways.

- https://wcex.co/trade/ETHBTC?s=  <-- Go there if you want to look at the horrid setup.
Closed page. Again trolling with Photoshop?

That was the first thought that came to mind. It looks like a Coinigy photoshop job desperately trying to look bad. I tried the page he linked to and, unsurprisingly, couldn't log in.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TIMEREUM (TME) VERSION 2.0: "ELIXIR" (ELIX) COMING SOON on: September 02, 2017, 01:03:51 PM
I think I found some great news for ELIX by virtue of the fact that it's an ERC20 token. Perhaps it's old news but EthFinex, Bitfinex's Eth exchange, is launching soon.

I just heard about it a few minutes ago but AFAIK, that's expected to be the Eth token exchange so if everything goes right, there should be only good times ahead for ELIX.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] WCX – Low-Cost Crypto Exchange built by Apple & Wall St team on: September 01, 2017, 09:23:38 PM
So it looks like I wont get an early access. Anyone who got the invite plz take some screenshots and make a post how is the user experience.

The invitations haven't gone out yet. I assume they will go out within the next few hours.

They have actually going by the posters in the previous page. And someone in a channel I follow said he got in. Maybe we didn't get in or they're sending it in batches. Most likely the first.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] WCX – Low-Cost Crypto Exchange built by Apple & Wall St team on: September 01, 2017, 02:49:51 PM
guys if you wanna test WCX (WhaleClubEXchange), go to https://whaleclub.co

They will use the exact same engine and layouts so you can just test it first if youre interested.

Even though you haven't provided one sliver of evidence for this that's a pretty good full name.

Have beta launch emails gone out yet?

I don't see anybody here talking about A. getting one or B. talking about what it looks like in there.

I was wondering the same thing. The emails were supposed to be sent yesterday but I haven't got any. Maybe I wasn't accepted but surely one person here should've been accepted.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TIMEREUM (TME): ADDITIONAL ADDRESS PAIR BIDDING/SALE CLOSED on: September 01, 2017, 12:54:51 AM
I added a signature for the new Elixir Token. Would be cool if others here with an interest in this token do the same. Love the new name!

Isn't "manually mined" a bit of a misnomer? I mean, it's no more manual than mining any other coin and I'd argue it's even less manual than mining BTC. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding the context but rephrasing it to be explicitly time related like "time mined" or something similar is better. IMO, Chronologic's got the right idea with their marketing.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] WCX – Low-Cost Crypto Exchange built by Apple & Wall St team on: September 01, 2017, 12:47:05 AM
nobody else in this thread saying 'scam" except you.. and also with no proof. I am open. You have proof? Or are you saying you will shut your mouth forever when beta exchange is release tomorrow?

Yet you attack benjismarket as if he was talking about your exchange, not one of a few hundred anonymous ICOs. Why the hostility?

Asking someone to do better than poop flinging and shilling their "competitor" product is not being hostile.

Quote
I am also open Smiley There's no proof whatsoever that they actually have a product, a company, an escrow agent, employees, an office, and what else you need to start such a business. All we have is a fancy website, some virtual "coins", and a twitter account. Go proof they are for real.

At least 2 people in this thread have confirmed from Fran Strajnar himself that he's WCX's escrow, one of them being me.

316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] WCX – Low-Cost Crypto Exchange built by Apple & Wall St team on: September 01, 2017, 12:30:39 AM
Coiner and hamnchess, if you two trust them so much, just put all your money in that fancy pre-ico and you're good.

Trust has nothing to do with it so keep your baseless assumptions to yourself.

Quote
You behave very disdainful towards whoever voices concern. I wonder why.

If you can't back your claims, don't make them. It's all so very simple. Less noise in my unread replies would be nice.

Quote
But it's not about you. It's about people who are uncertain and are looking for thoughts and comments before investing. If I can prevent only one person from losing their livelihood in this scam, I'm fine with having to deal with two insulting people, even a sockpuppet.

Both you and the other guy came in here flinging poop, regurgitating the same accusations/questions that numerous people had already asked and as expected, went on to shill your "better", "competitor" product. The fact that it's a marketing tactic is obvious. And BTW, accusing me of being a sockpuppet is so far away from helping your case and if you feel insulted, get your emotions out of the matter and face the facts.

Quote
The best that could happen for me is if I was actually wrong, because then I would invest aswell. Unfortunately, those chances are very slim. I doubt we will see one thorough, informing video review with. But let's see.

If you have anything to back your claims rather than increasingly irritating and speculative "they're most likely, probably, shoulda woulda maybe is a scam. No team details, stuff stuff... therefore, scam. BTW, I have a better product  Grin", present it. If you don't, you can keep posting but I'll keep responding since this thread keeps popping up OR you can wait till they (fail to) release the promised demo before the ICO and by all means, rip them apart. I'll gladly join. I did it with the ClaimWithMe scam when evidence was presented and I'll do same here when similar evidence is presented.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] WCX – Low-Cost Crypto Exchange built by Apple & Wall St team on: August 31, 2017, 09:27:44 PM
WCX is much cheaper than GDAX man. WCX pays you 0.05% to place limit orders and the taker fee is 0.15% which is 40% cheaper than GDax's 0.25%.

Agreed, that would be great. Don't see it lasting long, or WCX turns into another GDAX, bad support, constant downtime, flash crashes.

@Coinr_

Thanks, glad you're deflecting answering my questions. I answered all yours.

Such a lovely projection. Gotta market that "better" competitor, right? Adorable.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] WCX – Low-Cost Crypto Exchange built by Apple & Wall St team on: August 31, 2017, 09:05:21 PM

I love how makers of shit ICOs are come in here to say WCX is scam with no proof. hahahahahaha

Say's the newbie, registered this year.

From the Newbie, registered 2015. Had only 1 post and went dormant for 2 years only to be resurrected in this thread in which he immediately goes on a marketing campaign for a "competitor" product that's, as expected, "better". Gimme a break!

Quote
I haven't seen many people say it's a scam. Just people bringing up issues, that WCX doesn't respond too. WHY?

Why don't you try actually reading the previous pages? People bringing up the same issues that have been answered is not "WCX not responding".

Quote
But that brings up a good point. Is something NOT a scam unless proven to be a scam? OR, is something a scam unless proven NOT to be a scam.
Either way, WCX doesn't give enough to prove it is or isn't. Hence, wait for more info. Only said it enough times. but hey, go ahead, let's see your receipt buying WCX.

Ah, now you want to wait for more info after your marketing and poop flinging.  Roll Eyes

@Coinr_

Let's see your receipt.

Nice deflection. Try harder.

Quote
Clearly, you're a big fan of WCX or work for them.

More evidence-free gibberish. I got tired of this thread continuously popping up in my unread replies with the same inane accusations repeated ad nauseam. Literally like 10 pages of the same nonsense.

Quote
Either way, you should own like 100k worth, right? Not sure why you want to defend them, again, you don't have proof either... just a bunch of hearsay.

Is that your best attempt at a tu quoque? I don't have hearsay, I have your claims or rather, evidence-free gibberish. That's what I've focused on. Again, try harder.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] WCX – Low-Cost Crypto Exchange built by Apple & Wall St team on: August 31, 2017, 08:40:27 PM
@Coiner_

The Alexa ratings are different today than a few weeks ago when I initially looked up their numbers. Hence, was talking about 250k sign-ups vs their 356k sign-ups today.

Doesn't change the fact that it's evidence-free gibberish.

Quote
Also, I know others have brought notice to issues, but most people just complain without details. I was giving the most details I had.

Vapid speculation is what you offered and exactly the type of speculation that this thread is filled with. There are legit complaints here and there from a few posters but they're outnumbered by the (usually) 1 - 3 "SCAM!!!" posts by once dormant Newbie accounts.

Quote
All the numbers are just typical rough statistics. Think about it. Right now, numbers are showing over 800K visitors to their site. Without the Pareto principle, just think about. How many page views are repeat users? How many times have you visited wcex.co... ? 1,5, 20 times?

It's easy to say, there are 3 reasons to explain their 356k sign-ups.

  • Completely fake, random counter
  • Real sign-ups, just multiple accounts per person, OR, people sign up and then do nothing
  • All real, one account per visitor, no one goes and visits the site more than 3 times in the last two months.

Which one seems feasible ...

4. Mostly real.

The "Duh?" option.

Quote
Evidence free because it's just statistics.

No, evidence-free because you either don't have any evidence or won't provide it. But it doesn't matter to you as muddying the waters is enough for your marketing ploy.

Quote
Everything is hypothetical and evidence free because wcex team doesn't respond to inquiries. The "Awesome Customer Support team" statement is bs. Makes you wonder what else is.

Or your claims that you've contacted them/not received a response is. Perhaps they felt your inquiry didn't deserve a response, I can definitely see that happening. I haven't contacted them so who knows. Bittrex took > 3 days to answer my inquiry, same with Binance and LBC but this is hardly indicative of every person's experience.

Quote
As for "less fees = less services provided".  Not sure how that doesn't make sense. Lesser fees mean lower income for the exchange. Lower income, fewer services they can provide because they will have to cut expenses.

Someone should call GDAX then.

Quote
I mentioned my reasoning for not trusting wcex, you, didn't mention any reason TO trust wcex and I was being transparent so people know I am a little bias, instead of having someone go and point out

You flung poop, those aren't reasons. I couldn't care less about giving you a reason to trust them especially after your last two ad posts.

Quote
It doesn't matter to me, our platform isn't in the same competitive space as we have a product, everyone will get to demo it, everyone gets our coins at the same price and everyone gets to control where their money is spent.

Riiight. Yours is legit, theirs isn't. Cool story.

Quote
But hey, let's see what happens. 10.10 or tomorrow. Was suppose to see their demo tomorrow, right?

You didn't think about that before your marketing? Oh wait...
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] WCX – Low-Cost Crypto Exchange built by Apple & Wall St team on: August 31, 2017, 06:09:41 PM
Since no one else is mentioning the red flags.

  • They claim to have over 300k sign-ups. Typical big-ticket ICO usually has 20k people buying tokens.

- If you took time to read through the thread rather than dumping your text wall you'd have seen you're not the first with these accusations.
- Do you have any evidence against the number of sign ups or are you just flinging poop hoping it sticks?

Quote
  • Checking alexa, similarweb and other sources, it looks as if 50% of their traffic comes from adbtc.com. Not saying that is bad, but, when they claimed to have 250k sign ups

Actually, Alexa puts adbtc.top at 14.2% and google.com at 10.7% so you're gonna have to do better than that:

Similarweb does put adbtc (a site with over 250K users) close to 50% but this...

Quote
when they claimed to have 250k sign ups, we checked their visitor numbers, and it was around 400k visitors total at the time. Knowing adbtc, maybe 1% of the people using that service would actually do something on the sites they get paid to visit. so, 50% of traffic = 200k people. 10% (being generous) = 20k people signing up. From the other 200k visitors, most likely half are repeat visits. Even though it would most likely be 80% repeats. That left 100k possible unique visitors. Very few people actually sign up for things that involves giving out their email. Let's be nice, and say 50% of unique visitors signed up (more like 5% max). Then that leaves 50K sign ups. Add the 50k plus 20k. They should only have 70k signups max, when they were saying 250k. That was just a few weeks ago.

...is evidence-free gibberish.

Quote
  • Their main box showing dividend payouts gives an average daily volume of 1 billion as the default. Trickery. The highest average is around 500mill right now, and that is for well know exchanges. If you research new exchanges starting out, they average around 5-50 million daily and would take a year or two to get higher. There just wouldn't be good enough volume to be attractive

Trickery? Really? Setting a select dropdown to your expected daily trading volume is trickery? Fascinating.

As for your "5 - 50 million", Binance is probably the most (only?) notable new exchange and I've never seen it at or below $60M.

Quote
  • Cheaper fees, 10%! 10% of 1% is 0.1%. The average fees on exchanges are around 0.15%-0.25%. So... 0.05% cheaper... Plus, less fees, less services they can provide.

That is the most inane non-sequitur I've seen on this thread in a while. Good job.

Quote
  • No pictures of your platform. Alpha limited to 5000 people, who are probably fake people. Whats the issue releasing to everyone. O, I know. You have a pre-sale and will just keep collecting money till you can pay to build something. Or, their response would probably be, "our system can only handle 5000k connections for testing"...

So to summarize your rehashed words that have already been plastered throughout this thread: you have nothing.

Quote
Overall, the numbers don't add up, either they lie or haven't done actual research. I've asked the wcex for proof of their 300k+ signups.. No response. My suggestion, wait to see their platform before buying anything. Someone prove me wrong, would still wait to see their platform.

Um, no. You're the one that has the BoP. Flinging accusations left, right and center and asking someone to prove you wrong is not gonna fly.
